I was at an event dedicated to Japanese cuisine with a tasting of some dishes. "The event was announced " is tempting, as a result-it was the most boring and not interesting event, 2 hours of empty chatter by the restaurant director, based on such primitive personal experience (although I had experience working on Japanese TV) that I wanted to escape from there. If you wanted to show the culture of Japanese cuisine, at least take the trouble to present it beautifully. Sorry for the time and money spent. And the tasting set was so modest that it is difficult to evaluate.
I have long wanted to try their ramen steamed in insta. Well, I went in, the ability to create a picture and sell - 5, ramen - 2. Half an egg, two very thin pieces of meat, a little onion, 45% noodles and 45% broth. I just took turns eating noodles and drinking broth, since a small egg (or rather half of it) and two thin, weightless pieces of meat went away in two bites) Actually, why so categorically? Yes, because the price of 33p for essentially just broth with noodles is not commensurate. People come to you not only to try Japanese, but also to eat, actually. And there would be something in this ramen besides broth and noodles. In general, this is what I expected, probably, it was repeatedly written about in the reviews. But I wanted to find out what real Japanese taste is. This tipped the scales. It is worth paying tribute - the taste of ramen and other dishes is really different from any previously tried, it was really Japanese, but unfortunately you can't get enough of Japanese vibe, noodles and broth alone, you went hungry.
It says that they work from 10:00, my husband and I specifically went to them to try the soup on my birthday. We visited them at 11:30, the restaurant is open, we sat down, no one came out to us, we went to look for someone... in the end we found a man who told us that they would work only in an hour ... we will not go there anymore
The staff is friendly.
The feed is fast.
I could have sat down at an atmospheric table (only I didn't feel the atmosphere, because the boards creaked terribly under my feet, although I don't have 100 + kg). The main hall was not working, which in itself has a negative effect on the recall.
Most of the questions about the kitchen:
1) it is not entirely clear what you are ordering (you have to get the waiter, and then, while the person is waiting, quickly decide what to order from the forgotten);
2) the laudatory ramen tasted of overcooked onions and bitterness;
the dish from the chef (noodles from the chef) surprised with its dryness, blandness, and also the carrots in the composition were burnt, and the beef was tough and wiry, athletic ladybug.
3) for an above-average price, there is a surprisingly meager selection of dishes;
4) again, for above-average prices, small "restaurant" portions.
I got in during the food delivery, sat in a small hall and watched how the cook and the food deliveryman carried the same underestimated carrots back and forth. Again, there is no question of any atmosphere.
Overall, I liked everything.
But, both in my opinion and in the opinion of friends, I would like more information for beginners in the topic of Japanese cuisine.
So to speak, you order at your own risk.
we have long wanted to visit this place and try how ramen is prepared here. We were not disappointed.
Rich broth and very tasty thicket 🥰
They brought it quickly.
A pleasant and atmospheric place, an interesting concept (especially tables with places on the floor), it is difficult to properly evaluate the food, since I do not know true Japanese cuisine, but it is definitely worth a try. The minus point is only due to the most strange waiter, who is definitely not in his place. He is not friendly, speaks very indistinctly (I apologize if a person is "special"), understands the menu poorly, and the teas from the menu too. The young man does not fit the concept of the institution. Everything else is fine!
An interesting place in the Japanese theme, there are even low tables. Very tasty ramen, rich and fatty. The cafe itself is located in a very beautiful courtyard, I recommend it
The place itself is interesting: beautiful interior (some elements were pleasantly surprised), friendly and attentive staff.
The menu and the dishes themselves disappointed: the choice is small (there are no photos, you need to go to Insta for them), the portions are small, without expressive taste and for a price tag above average.
I heartily recommend this place to visit. Of the dishes, I especially advise you to try ramen, I have never tried such a delicious and rich broth anywhere else
A little expensive, but very comfortable place. How many times I went, the staff is always smiling and friendly, there are many different events about Japanese culture, there are different buns for different holidays. There is nothing wrong with food either: everything is very tasty and satisfying. The menu is updated with new Japanese dishes, it's more interesting to come here every time).
Thanks to the staff and the chef of this restaurant!
Atfosmernoe interensoe place, beautiful interior, the cook is a real Japanese, the waitresses are just sweet (they will tell you everything in detail, show you, then they will consult if you are satisfied). But the menu seemed small to me in terms of the choice of dishes and it is not convenient that there are no photos of dishes, the prices are average, the portions are not large. If you have never tried Japanese cuisine, I recommend it!
An unusual restaurant in Minsk with Japanese cuisine. It's cool that the chef is a third-generation Japanese.
There are tables with seats on the floor. A large selection of dishes and pleasant prices.
After we eat, I will supplement the review with food impressions)
a pleasant place where you can meet friends or have lunch alone. the staff is always friendly and courteous. special thanks to the waiters for answering the possibly stupid questions that arise.
I like the concept of the restaurant: holding master classes, thematic meetings and various kinds of events.
the atmosphere of Japan has been competently recreated, which allows you to enjoy the ordered dish even more.
Anyway, Sakaguchi has the best ramen.
Dense, hearty, with its own character.
Ramen is like a holiday that can be arranged once a month.
But you can eat rice every day.
The interior and atmosphere are wonderful, the friendly staff and the hostess of the restaurant, but the table was sticky and the portions were small. We were very surprised by the shrimp in tempura: for 28 rubles there were 2 of them (!), the rest were vegetables. As the waitress explained, in the version of the dish, 5 shrimps would be more expensive by 2 rubles.
In total, we spent more than a hundred rubles, but did not get any pleasure:(
Everything is very tasty, polite waiters, very atmospheric place.
If you don't know what to choose, the waiters will tell you.
The dishes arrived quickly, although the occupancy of the hall was high.
I recommend you to visit
Food for 3 points, chicken in a KFC batter, ramen non-majorists with barilla noodles N°1,the waiter works reluctantly, gave 160p, the price is overestimated by 2 times,I do not understand how there can be 5 star reviews, people apparently did not eat normal food in their lives
The service is very friendly, friendly and courteous, and the waiter's vocabulary does not end with the word "delicious" (the description was very colorful). In terms of food here, I am an adept of ramen, here it is incredibly rich and thick, as well as incredibly delicious, just what you need! except for the nuance that the balance of noodles/broth often varies. It's too much noodles, then broth. Anyway, I had this feeling after 3 visits, I would like more stability..)
We were there today, the impressions were so-so:
There is no chicken, there is no fish (this is also in a Japanese restaurant), pork stew is the most common, ramen is not about anything at all, they ate in places and better
Visually it is very beautiful, but the service is so-so
A cozy place with really tasty and interesting cuisine for a nice price. The interior is pleasing to the eye, and the places where you can sit at small tables on the floor on special cushions are van love.
The only thing that is extremely upsetting, regardless of the density of seating in the institution, is the speed of service. I have been to the institution more than six times and never once was the order accepted in less than 15 minutes. More often it is 20+ minutes. Another unpleasant thing is that they do not always warn you about how long the order will be prepared.
An atmospheric place. The interior is in Japanese style and the seats were very pleased.
We came by chance and never regretted it.
The dishes are delicious, hearty. The staff is very polite.
I recommend you to visit. Visiting guests from another country appreciated it!
This is not a Japanese-style restaurant, but a JAPANESE RESTAURANT!!! The director knows Japanese cuisine better than many Belarusians know their native cuisine. The chef is Japanese. Very tasty. It's nice that there is a division into Japanese, where they sit on pillows, and European, where they sit on chairs, zones, and an interesting kitchen. Again, they hold various events, introducing Japanese culture. Good luck!!!
We came here mainly for the sake of ramen.
Interior: pleasant, Japanese style. There are 2 types of tables, regular and Japanese style.
Service: normal. The waiters came up quite quickly, they did not allow rudeness, but no special efforts on their part were noticed.
Food: we ordered standard ramen, takoyaki and lemonade.
The lemonade is ordinary, just soda with syrup.
Takoyaki has an interesting serve (tuna shavings seem to be moving) and an unusual taste.
But the ramen did not please. Yes, he has a very tasty, rich broth, but the portion is not particularly aggressive (for 450 g), there is little filling (half an egg, 1-2 pieces of ordinary meat and a little algae), and it costs 28p. I know at least 2 places in Belarus where ramen is 2 times cheaper, but there will be a large portion with a lot of filling, and all this will be much tastier even with a less saturated broth
The chicken is fantastic, as is the ramen. It is also very pleasant to sit inside at a traditional Japanese table. In short, a great place for a date and to take food with you
A great place with great food and great music
There are both regular and Japanese tables, which pleasantly surprised me.
The staff responds quickly and very politely.
The food is very very tasty, the hosts are hospitable and friendly
I'll come here again.
Ramen and pork seem to have made you fall in love with them, very tasty. It is very rich, very beautiful, every addition to the dish is not just like that, but also, the cucumbers are gorgeous, everything is delicious, everything is fast, everything is convenient, everything is beautiful, the staff is wonderful.
Very pleasant atmosphere (interior design and music), responsive, polite and helpful staff. Insanely delicious food. I was very pleased! I advise all amateurs and inquisitive to try it.
Very nice and cozy atmosphere, the interior is thought out to the smallest detail. But there are very few truly exotic Japanese dishes that would have no alternative. Although the menu itself is very small in principle. Kara age is an ordinary delicious breaded chicken, refreshing onion salad with ginger and peas. The pickled salad is also with the ingredients we are familiar with, but it wins due to the really original sauce. My friends were not happy with ramen and kakuni. But most of all we laughed with cider. We ordered cider with mango and passion fruit, we sit praising, discussing that the taste is similar to something, and then we see bottles of our favorite Molodechno cider at the bar, which we usually buy at seven on Fridays. As a conclusion, if it were not for the high price and positioning as an exclusive Japanese exotic, there would be no questions. I would like more flavors and ingredients that I really haven't tried before.
To my taste, this is the best ramen you can try in Minsk. This is a completely different cuisine, not fast food and "simple" food, but really authentic, delicious Japanese dishes.
I thought for a long time about what grade to put and still came to this decision.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is cool. The room is very beautiful and I liked that you can sit on pillows.
Minuses. Firstly, it is expensive and small. There is nothing in miso soup for 7 rubles except broth and greens. In theory, there should have been tofu cheese, but I didn't find it. Perhaps it was so finely chopped and unnoticeable. I ordered extra eggs and nori. And then the first misunderstandings occurred. The menu says: 1 egg -2 rubles. As a result, as it turned out, 1 egg meant half of an egg. Again, 2 rubles for half an egg is... Is it strange? And taking into account all these additives, there was very little soup. The soup is very tasty, but there was no feeling of satiety. And this is for 15 rubles, taking into account additives.
Next, what surprised me the most was that they didn't sell me baby ramen because I'm over 14. What if I only eat chicken from meat? Once, while visiting, they ordered ramen for me from another place and there was a more diverse selection and a large portion. And here it was not even possible to try ramen without meat. Would the waiter have been punished if she had sold me this ramen? Although there were no problems at all in selling the same alcoholic beverages to my partner.
In general, there were such impressions. Since my friend was celebrating her birthday here, I was generally glad to be here and try something. But due to the high cost and lack of variety in the menu, it is unlikely that I will ever come again and will not advise anyone. Still, when alcohol is sold without a passport, and "children's ramen is only up to 14," it's strange.
This is definitely the most delicious ramen in the city, three heads above any competitor. The rest of the menu is also very tasty, I advise everyone to visit
Very nice staff and atmosphere
It's nice that there is a small piece of Japan in Minsk
I strongly advise you to try ramen, a really worthwhile dish, especially compared to other "Japanese" establishments
I really liked it! The first thing I want to note is the excellent design of the institution, it feels like as soon as I crossed the threshold I immediately found myself in a dorama. I ordered ramen, curry rice and lemonade from the food. I liked the ramen very much, the lemonade just flew away (I ordered it two more times, the only thing I expected more from the curry, but it was still delicious
Very atmospheric and authentic🥹
Yes, the price bites a little, but you can try this taste either here or already in Japan! I recommend it to everyone at least once!
You should especially try oolong tea with melon, takoyaki and miso soup
A very beautiful and atmospheric establishment, pleasant staff.
Spaghetti in ramen is of course a huge minus : (Although the menu indicates that there will be noodles. For an institution of this level, with promises of "perfect Japanese ramen", this is unacceptable, in my opinion. The rest was very tasty.
Takoyaki is the most tender, I would eat them all the time
The prices are quite high, but sometimes you can)
I would look in again, try a couple of other positions.
A pleasant atmospheric place for a couple of times or when you want just such an atmosphere. There are Japanese tables sitting on the floor (you need to book), but your legs are incredibly tired. Therefore, next time I had no doubt that we wanted the usual format. There were three times. An interesting ramen, which is very different from all the previously tasted, kakuni is very tasty. But I do not recommend tempura set at all, get two shrimps, two pieces of pepper, two halves of onions and two halves of champignon (all this is in batter, greasy and not very tasty, and onions generally cause only questions). Takoyaki is not very good either. Lemonades are so-so. In short, it's interesting to visit, but I definitely won't go there often, even though I love Japanese cuisine very much.
A very pleasant and stylish cafe in terms of content and service; prices are more likely from the restaurant here. We took a tasting set and liked everything about it. The service is good, but it is clear that there are not enough hands. I hope that they will revise the pricing policy so that you can drop in here at any time when you are hungry and pass by.
There is more hype around than a really interesting place. Due to what the price tags are breaking. The food is delicious, but not divine, as it should be for such money. the portions are small. As a "street food" format - by, mini soup for 24 rubles is too much, despite the fact that it does not taste like all other ramen in the city.
