There are two restaurants in the wonderful city of Brest (Jules Verne and a Tavern by the lake). Both restaurants have the same owner. But this is by the way.
Now to the point. We were in the Brest fortress. We walked a lot, we got hungry. They said in the city that these are the best restaurants. But alas, the impression was blurred as soon as the menu was given. There was no European cuisine (although it was announced). Only Asian (sushi, etc.).
The ordered rolls (8 pcs.) with shrimp did not contain half of the shrimp (only mayonnaise), three were with shrimp, and one with a shrimp tail (the one that is not chewed)))).
The administrator answered the question like this. All 8 pieces are made from one shrimp, the head that was lying on the dish,) Is it funny? No!
So the menu should be understood as follows: shrimp rolls are rolls with ONE shrimp spread over 8 rolls)))))
Who will order - ask now with two))))
In short, I returned 4 rolls. Even more so. That two have already bathed from the cook immediately in wasabi (well, apparently it's customary to put rolls in wasabi right away)))
We want to eat, let's have a steak, okay, we turned out to be kettles, but the administrator didn't even ask: the degree of roasting!
So what? They brought it lightly fried with blood! Maybe someone does, but we don't really)))
We decided to go to the second restaurant of the owner, at least to have a bite)
The administrator, although he agreed about the lack of shrimp in some rolls, but included everything in the bill!)
Left a tip and moved to the "Tavern by the Lake" (continued there).
Yes, I almost forgot. The situation is good. It is well located. But alas, you can't entrust Asian cuisine to our chefs (or most of them). As it is, everything is fine! The service was friendly and quick. There were very few people on Sunday. Lunch table 5 is occupied. As it turned out, everyone was at the "Tavern by the Lake".

We went to dinner with my husband. There is a very pleasant receptionist at the entrance, who quickly found us an empty table. The outerwear was left in the wardrobe. The interior is chic and cozy. At that time, they had a Georgian festival. The food was so delicious that it was impossible to look away, even the long hair in the salad did not spoil the impression. Of course, I would like a different reaction from the waiter to this complaint. Prices don't bite. You will definitely need to look again.

We were a company, in general, a cafe with expensive prices, definitely not a restaurant. The staff is probably in mourning, very gloomy. We ate according to the menu, bread was served after the soup and persuasion to bring it anyway, we forgot to ask for the appliances, too, we had to ask, the dishes were not cleaned, again you ask for the ham to be removed from the pizza, they did not remove it, they forgot. Udon is not possible, mussels are not fresh. The impression is bad.
