We had a rest in August 2024, the standard room. They gave room 110 on the 1st floor, the safe is broken, the toilet broke on the second day, the key card is buggy. There were no bathrobes and a hair dryer in the room, they asked for it, they brought it. They started to get indignant, they said they would replace the room, they had to pack their things. They collected it, they safely forgot about us. They moved to another room, there were no bathrobes and a hair dryer again. The carpet was dirty, and it had never been vacuumed in a week. There is a reception on the ground floor. The staff can gather around him at one o'clock in the morning and talk. They took it with breakfast, juice and coffee are running out, they don't add juice, they make coffee reluctantly. The restaurants in the hotel are very expensive. There are good fish restaurants Dalia and Deniz behind the hotel, I can be a little mistaken in the names. And shops where you can get water. We went on an excursion to the temple of fire, a very boring and uninteresting excursion, at the end we were brought to a public beach, it is unclear why, all the tourists were from hotels, with their own access to the sea. A public beach with one scary locker room, the sea is shallow and dirty. The locals are trying to charge you money. As a result, the return trip took 2 hours, because there are traffic jams in the evening.
The hotel is on the seashore, several beautiful clean pools. We took only breakfast, delicious, not super diverse, but everything is fresh, there is enough food. Friendly staff, responds to any request immediately and helps. Surprisingly, there are not a lot of people, there are a lot of free sunbeds, it is comfortable to swim in the pool. There is a bar near each pool where you can order drinks, the prices are average. But!!! What critically spoils the rest is that the music is turned on very loudly all day near the pools, so loud that it is very difficult to talk, even if you are very close to the interlocutor. It is not very clear who needs such loud music during the day, after a couple of hours I already want to hide from it ((( only because of this I did not put a rating of 3

As it turned out, 5* in Azerbaijan is the standard 3*. At least in the internal grids. And now for more details :
1) Check-in. This is a failure. We occupied 3 rooms for 45 minutes. This is despite the fact that the flight was delayed and we arrived in the evening after 6 hours. And this is just the beginning. Neither key worked. We opened one of the rooms and saw a picture (photo). It's like a grenade was thrown in front of us. And then they just made three keys available to all the rooms ...
2) The building and the territory. Of course, they did chic for 5 * until the service intervened. On the 4th floor of the deluxe there are rusty corners and peeling wallpaper. After cleaning, there was dirt in the room. 3 bass and a number of restiki norms. As well as the type of beach on the sea. There are a lot of visitors from the city on sun beds at the weekend. Prices are high at the bassikov bar.
3) Breakfast for 4 maximum. There were such flights as cold coffee and not fresh bread. And also the lack of plates.
4) There are no budget resorts near the hotel. We took food and drinks 200m up from the hotel.

The first day of rest: 1 hour of waiting for a key card, 10 hours of waiting for bathrobes, there are no sunbeds on the beach, the lifeguard deceives that the bathing season is over, does not allow swimming in the sea. At the reception they said that the beach belongs to another owner, which turned out to be another deception (the lifeguard and the beach of the hotel). On the demand to call the hotel manager, I heard that the Russian does not understand, if you want to call him yourself. At 15.00, they begin to remove the deck chairs from the only pool where your problem is to relax. At night there are screams in the hotel corridor, the climate control system dazzles with its brightness. In the morning of the next day, they said for breakfast that we had already taken too much, this despite the fact that the buffet system and we took 4 plates of food for 4 people (2 rooms) (apparently, according to the logic of the hotel, one of us had to stay hungry, for example, a grandmother or a child). After this insult, we went to the beach, where we were informed that the bathing season ended on September 15. During the conversation with the manager and director of the hotel, they were assured that there would be no more problems, promised a free lunch and put sun loungers at another hotel. The deck chairs were waiting for more than an hour. They didn't wait for the promised lunch, apparently the hotel staff has the same attitude to the hotel management as to the guests - dismissive. The only swimming pool belonging to the hotel was blocked, because it was rented for a wedding. Of course, the guests were not warned about this. Loud music and screams stood until night. Ordered a spa: terrible smell, dirt, no towels and bathrobes. Of all the equipment, only a barely warm sauna worked. Half of the light bulbs in the room don't work, the shower is leaking, you get out of it like in a frog house. The plumbing is all cracked. The walls are dirty. The towels are torn, with threads sticking out. The cleaner takes other people's things without permission. The overall impression is a terrible hotel or prison, where guests are treated as convicts. You pay a lot of money for the boorish attitude towards you from the hotel. Definitely do not recommend to visit.
I really liked the hotel ! The staff is super responsive ! The view from the window is gorgeous! Breakfast is carried to the room, you can go down to the restaurant!! There is a lot of food ! The city is 7- 10 minutes away! There are many fish restaurants nearby!!

We waited until the rooms were cleaned . 5 stars is just an inscription, everything is rusty, old, there are breakdowns, ants in the room-this was normal, it was decided and not decided. There is no hot water, there is cold. Breakfast until 10:30, the staff is so-so. There are no extra towels in the room, the refrigerator only works when the card is inserted. So the lack of dressing gowns. There is also little lighting in the room, but the view is good, but someone was unlucky with this view of the monuments. Maybe someone likes it, but not us. Also, if the tenants went to wash from above, then water will pour on you
When checking in, they had to wait an hour, because the manager was figuring out problems with other guests, they were given keys to the room where other people's things were, and the room itself was not cleaned. After an hour of waiting, the manager informed us that he could not move us into the DELUXE room category, which we had paid for, there were no available rooms. We were placed in the standard room category with a view of the roadway.
They were allowed to move into our rooms only after 2 days (out of 7 days of rest) after 14.00. They really settled us only after 15.00, we waited an hour in the lobby of the hotel with our collected things. I was settled with a five-year-old child in a room with a faulty air conditioner. At my request, technical staff came, they came at a time convenient for themselves, and not for me, for example, when I needed to put the child to bed, they came during the four days remaining from the rest, but the air conditioner was never repaired.
The main purpose of our holiday was swimming in the sea. The managers of the hotel did not warn that snakes were swimming in the sea. Both we and other hotel guests have seen them more than once. The managers did not deny it, just saying that they are not poisonous.
Swimming in the pool at a convenient time for us, the guests, also turned out to be impossible. We were not allowed to use the pool until 9.30 am and after 18.00. At the same time, there are no signs for the time of using the pool in the hotel, just the manager comes and expels guests with children from the pool.
The hotel is beautiful, the pools are cool, the cons of the sea are only until 18.00

A sad experience. Constant weddings by the pool, music until 12 at night and then sometimes I couldn't sleep. Breakfasts are also difficult, only from the fifth time it turned out to eat scrambled eggs. Plus, many of the group were poisoned. One of the advantages is the hospitable staff (those who speak at least a little Russian). And the gym was good
