The hotel is wonderful!
I would like to note the friendly attitude of the hotel staff to vacationers, the owner of the Dervish hotel is attentive to every guest.
The food here is excellent! Buffet, always freshly prepared delicious food.
Once or twice a week, the hotel owner organized parties for vacationing hotel guests: "Turkish Night", "Foam pool party".
Guests of the hotel could listen to oriental and modern music and dance. It was very emotional!
Next to the hotel there is a small shop of the hotel owner, where you can buy oriental sweets, choose a women's or men's handbag, where you will be treated to the famous wellness "Sultan tea", it has the beneficial properties of all herbs and spices from which it is made. This tea is a natural remedy for colds and flu.
The beach is a five-minute walk from the hotel. The beach and the bottom are sandy, it is very pleasant to swim in the sea, the water is very warm.
There is a pedestrian promenade along the beach to the old town, with restaurants where live music sounds and you can dance, and shops where you can buy souvenirs and various things to relax. The Side Museum and the old town are a 10-15-minute walk away. In general, there is something to do in the evenings.
The hotel has a salon where a range of services are provided: foam massage, peeling (hammam), general massage, clay mask. The hotel offers a free test massage for 15 minutes.
The owner of the salon, Svetlana, is very friendly and responsive, she speaks different languages and is always ready to advise on various issues. The massage therapists of the salon are real professionals in their field!!! I am delighted with the massage, relieved stress and muscle tension, and got a "sea" of pleasure.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the employees of the hotel.
Thank you so much for a pleasant and unforgettable vacation!))
I came back yesterday.
Advantages: beach, pool and location. the promenade to ancient Side. Massage. Svetlana is the owner of the salon. It 's good there and I recommend it . I did 2 different procedures-excellent.
Cons: the rooms are rattled. there is nothing in the rooms except a hair dryer. take soap and soap with you. take towels with you, or for 5 euros in a deposit at the hotel, it's noisy from diesel generators around. my room was the best of the worst on the 5th floor with a sea view, and that's as a bonus for problems with check-in, because I (like all clients of Biblio globus) was checked into the hotel for 1 night sun kiss "septic tank around the corner" is how the victims of the above-mentioned tour operator, with whom she communicated at the hotel, nicknamed this place. By the way, it looks very much like this place is also supervised by the owner of the hotel and thus customers are delivered there. Someone was "lucky" and spent 2 nights there for their paid money. Moreover, keep in mind, and do not make a mistake like me. First, ask for the room key, and only then sign the check-in form. I signed a form indicating the date of arrival and departure, and instead of the key, they told me with a grin, "a surprise for you...There are no rooms!" after a night in the septic tank, I asked to cross out the check-in date and correct it to the actual one. of course, they refused me, the form was taken away from my hands, so you can no longer prove that you did not spend the night in a paid hotel. they won't give you any papers, and the hotel owner will start yelling that he helps you, doesn't stop spending the night on the street, and you're still not happy!
A photo is a photo of a septic tank. there was no hot water, by the way. but after 12 hours on the road and 3 hours of showdowns at the reception, it didn't matter anymore.
Russian tourists (in our hotel) were mostly accommodated on the 1st floor, where the balcony actually "lies" on a table in a restaurant, or overlooks the windows of the apartments opposite. the food is of the same type. There were no pancakes from previous reviews. It's the same thing every day. There are always eggs and muesli for breakfast. fruits are unripe watermelon and apples.in fairness, we can mention the cook, because he tried to portray something new from chicken every day. powdered puree, frozen fries with black spots, I saw fish twice, fish heads are unpainted. even taking it on a plate is unpleasant. the local cat did not eat-I specifically watched as they tried to feed it with this fish head)))side dishes - rice, barley, pasta, mashed potatoes and fries. and not at the same time, of course, but two types alternated for lunch and dinner. the sausage, as usual, is inedible for Turks (everything is checked on the cat), the cheese is normal. but on the 5th day, I got tired of rice, omelet and unripe watermelon.the juices are powdered, the water in the cooler is only in the restaurant. I saw how people from the store brought yoghurts and cottage cheese and fruits for children's breakfast.
according to the settlement situation. I didn't quite understand who was to blame. The greeter is kilit global. at the same time, tel. There was no guide for the transfer, only a hotline. thank you that the hotel reception called the Turkish number himself, although they didn't really want to.the awesome tour operator biblio-globus on the Moscow hotline (with whom I have an agreement and to whom I paid the money), offered me to deal with their partner on the spot myself....
I figured it out as best I could, but at my own expense from roaming.
The hotel guide came on the trail.a day and agreed on a bonus. Internet in the room for the entire period of stay, which cost 3 euros per day. but in return, the paper says that I have no complaints about the hotel and killit global. I signed the paper. Yeah. and the Internet was cut off after 7 days. and I lived for 8 days. so it still turns out, even for a day, but they cheated.
there are a lot of Russians in the hotel. We talked. those who came from BG were in a similar situation. by the way, the hotel owner said that the hotel has been in the stop since August 20, but BG sends tourists anyway ...
Bottom line: I never advise anyone to go to the hotel through the Biblio globe. The hotel itself is suitable for those who do not care about comfort, silence and food, but only need a bed and a beach.
For comparison: 3* in Istanbul hotels and 3* in Side hotels is a huge difference. I thought that the Turks had a single standard and fell for these stars. But I was wrong. I am not a particularly demanding tourist, I have been to different hotels in Turkey, but I will not return to this hotel anymore and I will not advise anyone. There is a huge selection of hotels along the amazing beach, for similar money.
We were in July 2024. The best place in the price-quality ratio. The hotel's beach is a 5-minute walk away, and the sea is even closer. The food is varied and delicious. The hotel staff is very pleasant. The Wi-Fi is stable. Antixide is no more than 20 minutes away. The two migros are even closer. The location of the top. There is a shower and a foot washer on the beach and in the hotel by the pool too. Greetings to the Boss from Samara👋
Good day to all of you.
I am writing a review from the hotel. We are resting here now. We flew well, we got to the hotel perfectly.
I will not write about the food and the fact that the hotel is near the sea and all the sights. That's the way it is.
But we were unlucky with the number. Number 114 totally sucks. This is not a standard, this is some kind of economy.
The room stinks of damp and mold. The balcony will reveal the smells of the kitchen. The beds are sagging. And the bed linen, as if it had been slept on before us and they forgot to change it for us. There are no shelves in the closet, not hangers. When asked to change the number, misunderstandings are immediately included. They don't speak Russian. As a result, decide with the guide tomorrow. The guide also decides very little. They said there are no rooms until October 15th. They asked me to at least make up the sheets, but for now it's quiet. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. This is not the first time in Turkey, but this is the first time such an attitude has been adopted.
This is the best option for a holiday in Side. Everything is included for a nominal amount of money. Its own beach is 50 meters from the hotel. The staff is very polite and attentive. The host is at the hotel almost 24/7. Communication in English. Although there is a masseuse who can help compatriots. If we are going to Turkey again, definitely here. The spouse agrees!!!
A wonderful hotel for a family holiday. Within walking distance from the sea 👍👍👍 The food is very tasty!!!! Friendly and helpful staff. I am sincerely grateful to the owner of the Dervish for the warm welcome!!!!!
Good. A solid four. Delicious, varied food, friendly staff. Lots of fruits, vegetables, drinks. The sea is super, 3 minutes walk. Special thanks to the director of the hotel for the Sultan tea.
We had our first vacation five years ago in August. I really liked it.This year we decided to repeat it.The weather, the sea, the beach and the hotel, everything is fine, for three stars. The staff is excellent, hospitable, THANK you all very much.Special thanks to the manager. The food is decent. The location of the hotel is excellent, everything is within walking distance. The territory of the hotel is small, but cozy.In a word, I recommend it. The rest is excellent and economical.
I'm unlikely to write anything new, but I'll try to describe our stay in it in detail. So we rested here from October 7th to 17th. We are not spoiled, but we have been to many places, so we did not expect anything special. Nevertheless, we were settled immediately, rooms with sea views. The rooms are nice and clean. Cleaning every day. The beds are comfortable. I will not find fault with towels and bed linen. The territory is tiny, but no one asks you to sit there, as this hotel is taken because of its proximity to the sea and generally gorgeous location. The bar has beer, raki, vodka, red and white wine (dry). The water is in the cooler, which is not very correct. There have been cases of poisoning. Still, even in a three-piece, I think the water should be bottled. There is a rule in the bar that alcohol is in one hand, but this did not apply to us, we behaved decently :-) Why am I shooting a star? For the food. They didn't get poisoned, and thank you. But lunches and dinners are a little meager. The desserts and breakfasts were good. Chicken for 10 days in a row. But the cook is trying. Nothing, you can eat delicious food at home, we went across the sea - we got it!!!! It's amazing! It's warm and calm. I recommend everyone to travel in the first half of October. And a hotel is nonsense when the weather is gorgeous outside. From my observations: I recommend taking the airline Aeroflot or Pobeda. There is no problem with them. A few more words about the hotel: It is generally sincere. The host solves all issues, the staff is polite. In general, it all depends on your mood. And if you don't squeeze in and give 10 dollars when checking in, then it's generally great. We also tipped at the bar. Have a good rest and good mood!
The hotel justifies its 3* with confidence, despite some nuances, I give it a rating of 4.
Now about the nuances. We encountered the first of them immediately upon arrival. The boy at the reception, apologizing and lowering his eyes, said that there were no places in the hotel, and that we would have to stay in a nearby hotel for 1, maximum 2 days. After our loud indignation, the owner of the hotel intervened and graciously gave us, according to him, the best room with a sea view.
The view was really wonderful. As for the room itself, everything is 3*, respectively. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bed linen was old, but clean. The air conditioner is old, without a lid, it blew out so that it knocked you down, it hung right over the bed, so they hardly used it, just to cool the room down a little before going to bed. The shower was leaking, but it worked, hot water – with varying success. The room itself is a little tired, but in general it was enough to "spend the night". Cleaning was meager, towels were changed if you throw them on the floor, the floor was washed only 1 time in 11 days, there was no change of bed linen.
Nutrition: most often – meat (chicken) with gravy, soy with gravy, vegetables with gravy, rice, bulgur, powdered puree. Fish – a couple of times, small, bony. Special thanks for the incredibly delicious zucchini and eggplant, a wonderful omelette for breakfast, an abundance of fruits (apples, watermelons, oranges), a variety of delicious cheeses and an incredible number of desserts (pies, biscuits, brownies, cakes – always different, fresh)!
Bar from 10.00 to 22.00, free of charge: beer, soda, gintonic, local wine.
Sea. This is one big PLUS of this hotel, covering most of the disadvantages. The hotel has its own beach in a 5-minute walk, narrow, but there are always free sun beds. The entrance to the sea is gentle, sandy, no sharp stones. The surf line is wide, it's a pleasure to walk along it. The sea is warm and transparent. The behavior is different, for a couple of days there were waves knocking you down already at the entrance, then almost complete calm, then waves again, but not so strong. Lifeguards are on duty at the beaches.
Side is a city with a rich history. The old town is 20-25 minutes from the hotel along the promenade along the sea. Everywhere there are excavations of the ancient walls of the city, with glass sidewalks laid on them. The Temple of Apollo, Roman baths (by the way, we came across these ruins by chance, which you can climb, they were not on the map), an Amphitheater (for a fee, 17 euros), a beautiful port – all within walking distance from the hotel.
And finally, I want to turn to one of the guests of this hotel, with whom we had the misfortune to be neighbors for several days. Dear (no) Irina! Why did you decide that the guests would enjoy watching you dance with almost (thank you for "almost") exposing your flabby breasts? Why did it seem to you that guests who want to relax after all the hotels around turned off their music at 23.00 are just waiting for your drunken songs, dragged out by a smoky voice?? You and your companions, before the closing of the dining room and bar, managed to get so much food and booze on your table that you had enough until midnight. You had wedding-like feasts almost every evening, and it was only on the last day of our vacation that this Spanish shame stopped. I don't know if you've finally been reprimanded, or if your body has asked for mercy. It is because of people like you, Irina, that some hotels are afraid to settle Russians.
I rarely write reviews, but in this case I was not too lazy to spend time.
The tour was bought from Biblio-Globus. The period of the trip is from September 15 to 26, 2024.
It's the first time in Side. Mostly very good reviews about the hotel, so they chose it. But there were a few negative ones and now I understand why.
We stopped by for dinner. The room was supposed to be a 2-bed standard. The receptionist with long hair insistently began to offer us dinner and leave our suitcases. I replied that we wanted to check in first, and then the rest. The time was 19.30. dinner lasted from 19 to 21. Through a translator on the phone, he said that there was no room for us in the hotel and we would be accommodated for a maximum of 2 nights in some other hotel 50 meters away. I said that we paid for the tour 2 months ago. Why do you confirm a reservation if you don't have seats? We're going to live here, give us a room. The employee has already started saying that there is a room, but something is broken in it and tomorrow there will be a person who will fix everything. We will be relocated in a day at most. I insisted on my own. Next to the reception there is a passage to the dining room and the swimming pool. There is a table near the aisle, where the owner of the hotel was sitting at that time and always during our vacation. He heard the conversation and decided to connect. At that moment, I was talking into the translator that we had read reviews about the hotel and there were cases when they did not want to settle Russians right away, but offered another incomprehensible place. She demanded that we be checked into this particular hotel. Either their program translated the reviews wrong, or they realized that it was better not to contact us anymore, but the owner said that the room would be ready in 10 minutes. He asked me to have dinner and come to the reception. Half an hour later, they came to the reception and a long-haired man with a dissatisfied look escorted us to the room. 5th floor, pool and sea view. He turned on the air conditioner with his remote control, said he would bring the batteries in 10 minutes and left. The air conditioner is old, without a lid. He was right in front of the bed and blew on it. I had to go down for the batteries myself. The remote turned on, but did not switch anything on or off. I had to go down. There was only the owner downstairs, so I had to turn to him. He thought I didn't know how to press buttons, so His Majesty had to go up to the room and take a look. Surprisingly, his remote didn't react either. I called the employee, he brought another remote control, everything worked.
There was no hot water in the morning. Not 2 minutes, not 10. We washed under cold water. Before breakfast, I asked the reception, is this how they usually do it or is it an accident. The owner was already sitting in his seat, heard everything and joined the conversation. It turns out that we are the first to complain that there is no hot water. It turns out that you had to turn on the faucet and wait for the hot water to run. And we've never used a faucet directly and we don't know how this thing works. I didn't want to contact them for any more questions. We probably looked like we weren't going to like something the whole vacation. After all, we were given the best room, and we are dissatisfied with something.
Meeting with the guide. This is always a separate topic. He texted me on Whatsapp when he would be at the hotel for a meeting. If I do not plan to buy excursions, there is no point in such a meeting for me. Why do guides always have a tactic of intimidating tourists? There was Yusuf (maybe I got the name wrong). Why register with them? Am I in a pioneer camp? I bought a tour, which includes: plane tickets, round-trip transfer and check-in at the selected and paid hotel. You must have all the information – you send me a package of documents. I am not obliged to provide you with a voucher and a return ticket. Yusuf photographed both, saying that he did not have this data!? And you don't have to say every time, if a tourist doesn't come to a meeting, you won't put him on a plane. Plant it. And no one is obliged to provide you with a mobile phone. You must transfer flight information to the hotel, the staff prints out the information and puts it at the reception desk, as it was in the pre-mobile era.
I told the guide that they did not want to settle us initially, saying first that there were no rooms, and then that it was broken. The guide replied that this really happens not only to our tourists, but also to tourists from Moldova, i.e. he did not even deny that such a practice exists and this is normal. The owner sat at his post all this time and watched carefully, but in the end he couldn't help but join in. I told the guide about the lack of hot water in the morning to find out if this is the norm or what kind of malfunction. But this arrogant youngster suggested that I just had a bad day in the morning and he sometimes does the same. I've had a really good day. But I didn't ask for your opinion.
By the way, hot water appeared in the morning sometime on the third day. After entering the hotel, a large number of active and high-profile pensioners from Russia. That was trash. One active fashionable grandmother apparently decided to show everyone her Russian character. She gathered around her colleagues of different ages. This crowd of women during meals, especially at dinner, moved the tables, covered them to the brim. They drank, sang Russian folk songs at the top of their lungs, molested other vacationers, tried to swim in the pool while eating. The music was very loud from our and other hotels, even with the balcony closed. But this vociferous compatriot sang over everyone. At 23.00, the hotels turned off the music. You just fall asleep and then this one howls! Such a disgrace. This old activist thought she was alone in the hotel. And the guys in the dining room had to clean up after them late at night, because they sat, ate, drank and did not go anywhere. It's like an old gang. Then we wonder why Russians don't want to settle in some hotels where there are foreigners. Yes, for such reasons. People come to rest, not to endure. I don't know if the owner made remarks to this crowd.
The owner is always on duty. Try not to notice and say hello to him. Very intrusive.
Food. Overall, it is good. The waiters are great guys. Tables are poorly wiped. Dishes and glasses are not always well washed.
Number. There are no complaints. Everything is old, but it works. The cleaner takes out the trash every day. Towels change if you throw them on the floor. I washed the floor once before leaving.
Beach. There are few sun beds, everyone is standing nearby. A narrow strip. A beechboy of some Turkmen apparently has been working recently. I didn't understand what needed to be cleaned and why. The changing room was closed.
The sea is different. And the waves were strong and calm. The approach is excellent and gentle. Sand.
The old town is 25 minutes away.
The amphitheater is paid. It says that admission per person costs 17 euros. Strange employees are sitting in a booth and selling tickets. They are deceiving tourists. There was a couple of Russians in front of us, they had euros. They were not sold 2 tickets, they were told to go to the exchanger to change them. 2 tickets cost us 1.645 liras!! This is 822 lira per person, i.e. the ticket in rubles cost about 2,500! We counted it later, the course turned out to be 48. Everywhere in the shops the course was 38. Lawlessness, be careful. The amphitheater is gorgeous, but for what money there is nothing to see there. The arena is closed. Just walk up the stairs.
The hotel is not bad. Solid 3. If it were not for the hitch with the settlement, our noisy ill-mannered permissive grandmothers, then it would be very possible to recommend it for a budget vacation. But the Biblio-Globe disappointed. It is better to choose a slightly more expensive and another tour operator. And at least 4 stars. Maybe the people there will be more decent and well-mannered.
Pros: location, close to the old town; the beach is 3 minutes away, the sea is excellent, there are always sun beds. Cons: the room needs repair, wires are sticking out, handles are broken off; the food is very modest, only chicken is made of meat, although vegetables are plentiful. The staff is polite.
A wonderful hotel! Close to the sea! The atmosphere is homely, the staff is friendly. The food is not very varied, but I had enough. If there is not enough for someone, you can go to a cafe nearby (prices are reasonable)
Vacationed in Saygili in September/October 2023. I really liked the hotel. I was surprised by the food - it's great for a threesome! Fish almost every day, lamb, chicken is standard, but not scraps of skin /bones, but quite decent pieces of breast and legs. Fruits every day in sufficient quantity for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Watermelons, melons, oranges, apples. Desserts are plentiful. Pancakes are yummy! For children, nuggets, French fries. For breakfast, except boiled eggs, omelette and scrambled eggs (in some hotels you will not wait). The bar has wine, beer, gin and tonic, whiskey and coke. Bar from 10 to 22. The hotel has its own small beach in three minutes of slow walking. There were always free sunbeds. The entrance to the sea is great, it's great for children! The pool in the hotel is clean and empty, there is a paddling pool. They turn on the slide a couple of times a day. A lot of Europeans, calmly)) There is no animation (for us it was rather a plus). There are few children. The hotel itself is small, the rooms are cramped (for a couple with a child, but if you come to sleep, it's normal) there is practically no territory, but we walked along the embankment and shops)) Within walking distance of Migros and Waikiki, McDonald's and many small shops. The exchange rate roughly corresponds to ours. Russian cards are not accepted. You can pay in lira, dollars, euros. In private shops, rubles are sometimes taken.
There were also dissatisfied ones - nowhere without them)) From what I heard, the hysteria from the series "why haven't they cleaned my room yet, because I moved in last night, and it's already 8 in the morning! They have to clean up almost several times a day! And where is the vacuum cleaner at all!? "- the aged botox Undine screamed at the whole corridor. Perhaps sand woke up from it during the night) All such issues are easily solved at the reception. The same person was extremely unhappy that she was not given free alcohol after the bar closed, that she did not get a sunbed with her feet in the sea, that a beach worker could safely free a place "clogged" with rags For half a day when other people came to sunbathe, and that "her" table was occupied in a half-empty restaurant. In short, if you want to spoil your vacation for yourself and amuse/ annoy others thereby, you will succeed everywhere. And if you understand that you are going to the troika, the sea, the beach, food, a calm seal vacation are important to you - you will most likely like it here.
The hotel is gorgeous!!! It even pulls in some moments by 5❗️
The food is great, the staff is very hospitable and warm. The pool is clean, as is the hotel grounds. There is free Wi-Fi on the ground floor, as well as a fee of 3€ per day. The beach of the hotel is simply gorgeous 3 minutes walk, the sea with a sandy bottom and clear water. There are also many amenities nearby: a pharmacy, a store, a market, etc.
I recommend this hotel to everyone! You won't regret it.
I rested alone. They settled right away. Very friendly staff, always interested in the quality of your stay. They try to do their best. The cuisine is delicious, the bar is acceptable, the atmosphere is perfect. I just want to go back)
I really liked the hotel, the location is excellent, the sea is nearby, the food is good for 3 stars, the rooms are small, but this is not critical, the host is wonderful, I recommend

It is quite hard nuts with an excellent location. The sea is 50 meters away. Numbers of average kill rate. The food is quite tasty, but you will not stay hungry. If you don't stupidly sit by the pool at the hotel, then the option is quite successful.
A solid three. Plus the biggest one, the beach is 3 minutes away.

The hotel is small, which is what I like. The sea is 5 minutes away , a large promina along the sea , to the center of Side 15 minutes along the sea . Everything is fine, and the food, and the staff, and the service
The location is convenient, 3 minutes walk to the sunbeds. The food is good, there is always a choice. The water in the pool is cold compared to the sea. There is not always hot water at a later time, but it can be solved at the reception. The rooms are cleaned daily. Wi-Fi is only on reception and weak.
Great location of the hotel! You literally walk out of the hotel and see the sea 😍
The rooms are cleaned every day. It's all clear. The waiters are friendly and funny guys!! 👍🏼
