It is unique place not only in Armenia but in the whole area. Parajanov was a genius and so his art.
But the staff... OMG, with 0 abilities to organize things, manage all the agreements, the guide was really rude, it wasn't a tour about Parajanov it was tour about herself:how incredible she is, how unique and deep and so on. She was insulting, impolite and rude, I would highly recommend not take a tour with the guide and go there just simply to enjoy everything by yourself. Do not have this bad experience, it's not worth to challenge.
My rating is 100⭐️ out of 5
This is the best place in Yerevan for aesthetic pleasure, for art lovers, and there is a gorgeous observation deck near the museum.
Endless gratitude to the talent of the master and the creators ❤
Even if you don't know who Parajanov is, come, you will be amazed by the talent and versatility of this great man, you will see amazing art objects, paintings, hats, dolls and much more, avant-garde, history, life
A wonderful museum, a great atmosphere! I highly recommend visiting with an excursion, as additional information will allow you to plunge into the boundless world of imagination, fantasy and greatness of the world of Parajanov. A very versatile, talented and efficient person!
I really enjoyed the tour of the museum. The director managed to organize a wonderful team. A rare museum of modern Georgia where inscriptions to the exhibits in Russian have been preserved. Although more than 60% of Russian-speaking visitors go to Georgian museums.
A very small museum with a small exposition, but very strikingly representing the image of Sergei Paradzhanov as a very unique and extraordinary person! A man with a unique destiny! When you are in Yerevan, be sure to stop by for a few minutes!
The museum is very interesting, immerses in the era of Parajanov. There are many installations and paintings made by Sergei Parajanov himself. You can buy a T-shirt with drawings of the director and books about him in Russian.
A great museum, a beautiful place. Non-standard paintings and collages. Sergey Paradjanov is a genius for me. It's good that we managed to build this house and open a museum
I want to examine and photograph every exhibit in the museum.
I was glad to touch the work of the director of "The Color of Pomegranate", one of my favorite films.

An excellent museum of a great artist. The entrance is 1500 AMD, the guide on the phone is 5000 AMD. A very cozy, slightly "sleepy" house museum filled to the brim with Parajanov's creations. I highly recommend watching a documentary about the director, including his interview, which is shown on the second floor. It is a pity that the museum did not bother to make subtitles in Russian or English in this documentary, since interviews of different people for this film are in their native languages without translation, for example, Pierre Berger's interview in French, etc., and they tell interesting things. But in any case, this is a very informative and interesting museum and its staff do a great job of preserving the heritage and memory of the great man and his sad fate.
An interesting museum, we went without a tour. But we saw groups with an excursion, the guide tells us interesting things. The museum staff is friendly, the museum has two floors.
A great place that holds a huge history, Parajanov is a man with a capital letter. And "The Color of pomegranate" is a masterpiece. Be sure to visit anyone who appreciates the history of this figure, be sure to take a tour
I recommend a guided tour of this museum only! You will have a lot of fun and the story of Parajanov's life. Many thanks to Neida for an interesting tour!
An excellent two-storey museum in the center of Yerevan. Now, after getting acquainted with the exposition, S. Parajanov's films take on a new meaning.
A wonderful place in Yerevan to get to know and love Sergei Parajanov forever. The maestro did not have time to live in this house, but everything is done so wonderfully that it does not feel like it.
A great museum! I come every time I visit Yerevan. The museum is included in the List of treasures of European cinema. Everything you need for a visitor is there - a toilet, a wardrobe, storage rooms, a museum store, the possibility of paying for tickets with both a card and cash, booking an excursion. There were a lot of visitors on this hot day, there was a group with an English-speaking guide. The house itself is not a memorial, Sergei Parajanov did not live here, but he chose exactly the kind of house in which the artist could live. But there are numerous works from the wound, many gifts, and some memorabilia from Tbilisi. I recommend you to visit! The staff is very helpful)
Cozy, pleasant workers) well, the creator himself will not leave you indifferent 😁
Russian Russian ticket 1500, audio guide for 22 min 2000 in Russian and 5000 guided tour in Russian.

Be sure to visit this important little museum. Even without an excursion, you can touch the facets of creativity and the fate of the Artist and the people who lived and worked next to him, surviving and dying. Humor sits side by side with the drama of our lives, sometimes defeating it. The inspection may take an hour and a half. The ticket price is 1500 AMD, you can take photos at no extra charge.
The museum is interesting, but only in conjunction with the tour. You need to take care of it in advance-order it for a group or take it individually. I was alone, I took an audio guide, but this is a dry short story. Not a substitute for an excursion. 2 floors of expositions. It will take you about 1.0-1.5 hours to see everything. But I must say right away, you will not get out of there on the positive side. It will not be interesting for children at all, because it is not clear to them. Things are deep, philosophical and not joyful at all.
I didn't like my feelings. For the first time, human creativity made me gag. I went through the entire exhibition and the negative impressions only intensified. I left the museum thinking that any psychiatrist would immediately diagnose him correctly. But, I repeat, these are my feelings.
A sad museum with absolutely incomprehensible creativity for a normal person. The feeling that the main purpose of the museum is the destruction of traditional values. And not only creativity, but also the figure of the creator itself is very ambiguous. I do not recommend it for viewing.
A very atmospheric place, a house built for one of the outstanding film directors of Armenian origin with a worldwide reputation. A cozy courtyard, a unique exposition dedicated to the family, life and work of Parajanov. And also, opposite the main entrance, there is a view of the Hrazdan Gorge and the Ararat brandy factory
We are very glad that we visited the museum! I was pleasantly surprised by the large exposition and interesting solutions for the presentation of works. Parajanov is an artist who can be discovered endlessly.
One of the best museums of this format, a warm place, light and beautiful. I don't want to leave) The exposition is spectacular, the courtyard is cozy.
A wonderful house museum. The guide enthusiastically talked about the life and work of this interesting man, director, and artist. It is a must-visit in Yerevan

The most favorite place in Yerevan. Very interesting expositions, location, friendly and kind staff! To everyone who has ever been to Yerevan and to cinema lovers — a must visit
A wonderful place! Even for those who are not familiar with the work of the great director, it is very interesting! The best museum that we managed to visit in Yerevan!
I was pleased with the visit, Parajanov has a very interesting style and view of art in general.
The staff and staff of the museum are very nice and helpful people.
I recommend everyone to visit the museum. The unique world of a unique person. Sergey Parajanov is the very embodiment of the creative spirit. A subtle, vulnerable, visionary, life-loving sufferer, an inexhaustible source of inspiration and creativity in all its manifestations. There is no one to compare it with. He's the only one.
Parajanov is an extraordinarily talented man with a difficult fate. His film "The Color of Pomegranate" is a world-class masterpiece, every frame in it is extraordinarily beautiful. The museum has a large collection of his collages, assemblages, dolls, paintings and drawings. It seems that he created works of art from everything around. I recommend visiting, especially for people interested in visual arts.
I watched the movie Repentance a long time ago, I knew a little about the difficult fate of the Master. This visit to the museum revealed to me all the facets of an extraordinary talent, I will definitely review his films. All travelers must visit this museum!!!
The place is a must-visit, even if you haven't seen a single film by this director. There are many interesting collages, dolls, hat paintings in the collection of the exhibition - there is something to see, even if you just came in for curiosity. I advise you to take a tour - with it you can better get into the personality of Parajanov.
