We were in the summer with the aim of climbing to the top. The views are certainly stunning all around. A ticket must be taken for all three sections of the cable car. You can walk back somewhere, if you wish. It is better to come in sunny weather in the morning, when there are not so many people. After lunch, there are 50-100 people queuing for the cable car (we were on Sunday). There is a rental of clothes and equipment downstairs before the first ascent. If you forgot a windbreaker, then you definitely need to rent it, plus a plaid. If you have a windbreaker, then it makes sense to rent a plaid in cloudy weather. One thing is 1000t. We were fine at 3200m while the sun was out. Clouds came, it snowed (in August) and the cable car broke down a little. While it was being repaired, they waited for 30 minutes. Only the blankets were saved.
The cafe is definitely BigSky Cofferoom. The coffee is delicious and 30-40 percent cheaper than in the neighboring OBLAKA bar. To the right of the cable car at 3200m, you can walk 300-500 meters over the rocks and take a closer look at the glacier.

The views are gorgeous if you're lucky with the weather. And it can change in a matter of minutes. There are a lot of people, both skating and just gawking. It's a pity the playground at the very top burned down, the view from it is simply amazing.

Skating 10/10.
The most comfortable fare is night, there are much fewer people, and there are not so many people who ride, too, which makes riding more comfortable for more experienced ones.
The view is excellent, the outline of Almaty is clearly visible from the kombi-2 highway.
There is a medical center, so you can get an initial examination and treatment of wounds.
The cable car takes a long time, but the view always compensates for this time :)

Good afternoon, I managed to visit the mountains. During his two days in the city. I got there by bus- 40 minutes from the city center. Perhaps there is a shorter route. The cabins are clean, almost new. The cable car flew by instantly. The view is mesmerizing, the greenery, the clean air. There was snow only on the tops of the mountains, horseback riding, a sunny day, a lot of positive emotions. A cup of coffee with teramissu. And you can go home.
