Towels, bathrobes, slippers, and shower accessories were changed daily.
The staff is friendly, there are 2 swimming pools - for adults and children, a spa area.2 restaurants, nice to get into the elevator.
We liked the delicious breakfasts, buffet, inside the hotel and on the site, had lunch and dinner in other luxurious places.Alcohol for 20 fl.

We stayed 2 nights with the working delegation. I took off the star for the administrators.
Positive:
1) the rooms are above all praise - new, spacious, in the bathroom and a spacious shower and bathtub, air conditioning
2) the view from the room was on the rowing canal)
3) next to an artificial "island" with a historical "reconstruction" of Samarkand, where some kind of program like "survive in Samarkand" was filmed - in general, there is a bazaar with souvenirs, and a restaurant with pilaf, and a cafe with delicious samsa in lavash, and singing fountains - in a word, expanse for tourists
4) the price is 10 thousand rubles / day, including breakfast. But this is taking into account the fact that we have booked 10+ rooms. So a day on the site is 2 times more expensive.
5) observation deck on the 20th floor.
6) there is a hammam and a swimming pool - I did not visit, but my colleagues are satisfied with the deputy.
Minuses:
1) the reception is just a disaster for those who went on a business trip and who need to get the documents right. Someone was not stamped on the account, I was generally given the date of the account a year before the actual date of residence, and they forgot to give one colleague a passport at all, which she remembered almost at the airport)) fortunately, the receiving party decided everything promptly. Here, double-check everything right behind them, every document.
2) and once again the reception. The locks in the rooms are electronic, but not where to put the card, but just a "roundel" to which you attach it. In short, I went out at 5-40 in the morning to hand over things to a departing colleague earlier, slammed the door - I'm trying to open with the key, but the lock blinks red instead of green and does not open. I went down to the reception, an employee came up with me, tried his card - the same thing. He says, wait, we'll call a technician now. I say, well, is it fast? And he - I don't think so. I say, well, don't you have them around the clock? Yes, yes, of course. In short, I'm sitting on my floor in an armchair, a kind cleaner sees me and I explained my sad story to her. She made a couple of calls to someone and said that the technician would come at 8-00, they were coming later today. And the time is approaching 6 a.m. only!! I go down to the reception, tell them where the technician is - and they, oh, he'll be at 8!! Let's give you another number for now (that is, they didn't offer it right away, but marinated it for 40 minutes). I checked in, slept for 40 minutes and the bell rang - come in, the lock was "opened", but the technician will come and look at it anyway by 8, just don't close it from the outside. OK. Closer to 9-20 I go out for breakfast, at 10-30 I check out of the hotel. I think there must have been a technician picking at the lock, but I didn't hear it. I took my phone and passport))) I closed the lock and shit. I'm back at the reception - cesanach. In response, he is late, today is some kind of marathon, he will be at 10:00. I say, why wasn't I told about this? In short, at 9:45, a technician comes, looks at the lock and you know what he says?! We need another technician here!!!!!! ... It's hard to imagine my inner state)) but fortunately, the 2nd technician appeared after 1 minute and did it very simply - he took out a Power bank with a prehistoric mini USB connector or whatever and stuck it into the "electronic larva". I.e., my lock just ran out. Therefore, that change of administrators is of course a two! Until he reminded me about himself, they didn't give me a number, that the master was delayed, they didn't inform me.
3) it is on the edge of Samarkand - 20-30 minutes by car to the center. It didn't matter much to me, because we were taken everywhere with a delegation. Just keep it in mind.
4) this is the territory of the hotel complex and the distance between the hotels there is huge (in case someone from the delegation checks into the "neighboring hotels") it seems that the neighboring hotel is visible from the window, and it takes 3-5 minutes to drive by car, 30 minutes on foot. And Chinese cars are driven around the territory for 100 rubles a trip, but somehow we escorted a friend to his hotel and waited an HOUR for at least 1 car to be free to go to our place. Specifically, on that day in Samarkand, an unrealistically icy and unrealistically strong wind rose in the evening, and we, having previously rolled on a boat, watched enough singing fountains, realized that another 30 minutes on foot was not an option, because everyone was dressed very easily. And taxis are allowed conditionally to the barrier, well, that is, every taxi is not allowed to the hotel.
Breakfast looks super nice, but in my opinion visually better than it tastes. The fish is delicious, the pancakes are somehow quite mediocre. Probably even so - the desserts are good, the pastries are average, the coffee is not bad. Overall, a good breakfast.
In general, I hope the guys will tighten up the service, train their administrators and everything will be fine. I wish them every success)

Иногда плов и пару раз самса ( очень вкусные, но редко). Восточных сладостей не было совсем. Выбор блюд на завтрак маленький, но все вкусно.

A terrible hotel. Not delicious breakfasts. In the evening it is noisy until 00:00/01:00 - in the eternal city opposite the hotel there are constant open-air parties. It is impossible to open the window, and the bass beats even through the closed windows. The staff is problematic - zausking comes into the room after the first knock, even if you are still naked. Food delivery requires you to make a deposit to the room and worries about payment even when there is a deposit on the room.
Well, in the case of events in the city and street closures, the hotel does not assume the responsibility to inform the guests about this - unlike the Hilton. An egregious situation occurred - on September 7 there was a triathlon, so I had to wander around the city and take another hotel, because there was no way to get to them. And familiar employees from X said that they had specially made a corridor to meet their guests. Well, the cherry on the cake - no reactions from the hotel to so many joints. They gave a late check-out and massage only. I had to pull them for 4 days, every day a new manager is not aware of the situation and leaves the shift without solving the issue.

Everything is very clean and brand new. The staff is nice, but obviously no one teaches them international standards of service. The breakfast is sumptuous. And the design and menu are for the most discerning traveler, without red caviar, it's true, but I didn't really want to, especially in Uzbekistan). Just at breakfast and the staff is more experienced. I asked them to make me scrambled eggs, the cook did not refuse, sent the order to the kitchen and they kindly cooked it for me at no additional cost. There was delicious coffee here, unlike most places in Samarkand.
Гостиница находится на берегу гребного канала которых в мире всего три. Очень хорошо , что не в центре Самарканда, там очень суетно. Гостиница 5 звёзд, есть спа , бассейн много места для прогулок, фитнес центр, несколько ресторанов ( в китайский не советую, очень дорого, но невкусно и очень мизерный ассортимент). Для гостиницы в 5 звёзд есть унижающая процедура, на выезде из отеля, вас демонстративно попросят подождать, когда специальный сотрудник сходит в освобождённый вами номер и пересчитает полотенца и халаты. Завтрак для уровня в 5 звёзд, мягко говоря смешит, ассортимент минимальный, но поесть можно. Гостиница новая и возможно персонал и администрация не имеют опыта в предоставлении услуг уровня 5 звёзд. Желаю дальнейшего развития и процветания.

We booked a double room for a stay of 10 days in April 2024 with a total cost of $ 1300. The hotel is declared as a five-star hotel, but in terms of the quality
of service and the condition of the rooms, it pulls a maximum of 3.5.
Now in detail:
1. During our stay, we were offered 3 rooms on the 17th floor, of which two either had no electrics or something was broken, the bathroom was chipped,
the third room was also not without flaws, but since we wanted peace and relaxation, it was decided to stay at least in somein a room, rather than moving and dragging things for the third time in a day. As a result, not all the light control buttons worked on one side of the bed, and on the other side of the bed, no control buttons worked at all.
2. The temperature of the underfloor heating in the bathroom is not regulated, there are only two modes - either it is turned off, or it is turned on at 40 degrees Celsius, which burns your feet, it is impossible to stand on it even in slippers for more than a few seconds.
3. The windows do not close tightly, which is why you can hear all the sounds from the street, a draft and the periodic flapping of the shutters;
4. To get help from the reception at check-in, I had to call 4 times and eventually go down to the reception, only after that the service staff came up to us (the wait in general lasted almost 3 hours on the day of arrival to solve the problem, which immediately spoiled the day and took a lot of our personal time, after each call the reception staff I was very surprised that no one had come up to us yet);
5. The bed was broken in the room - it was found out after the first sleepless night, after the complaint it was fixed, but no one cleaned the garbage for 3 days, it was removed only after we purposefully called the maid with a vacuum cleaner;
6. The floors, furniture and even the entrance doors are scratched and in places with decent chips, which gives an unpleasant feeling as if you are in a cheap roadside hotel near the airport;
7. When cleaning the room, the staff does not monitor the availability of consumables, so the room ran out of hand soap and shampoo - everything was updated only the next day after the reception call, bath salts were not laid out at all - they were given only once upon request, shoe sponges were also not laid out after the day of arrival.
8. The menu and service of the restaurants, with the exception of the Chinese restaurant, leaves much to be desired. There is a service in the room for ordering food to the room via TV, but no one tracks the order - as a result, we waited 2.5 hours and called by phone, after which it only became known that there were no ordered dishes available, but they could be replaced with some specific analogues, for example, instead of chicken fillet with vegetables and sweet and sour sauce,
chicken breast on a skewer and grilled vegetables were offered. Taking into account 2.5 hours of waiting for the order to be accepted + 2 hours of waiting for cooking and room delivery, the late dinner, which was planned at 21:00, smoothly moved to 2:00 a.m., and so almost every time.
9. When accepting an order, no one informs that the dishes may contain products from the risk zone for allergy sufferers, some products
are not even mentioned in the description of the dishes. For example, a dolma of beef was ordered in the restaurant, which turned out to be with a chicken, filled with sour milk (there was not a word about these products in the description of the composition of the dish), so the dinner was spoiled. The vegetable salad was made with a different composition of vegetables each time.
10. The most interesting thing in my opinion is the bar on the 20th floor, which starts playing music around 21:00 and ends around 2 a.m., all this time due to the excellent sound permeability of the walls and ceiling, the concert feels like it's under your ear - lying on the bed you
will feel all the charms of the subwoofer, which is running at full capacity across three floors. At the same time, the reception will not help you much, they will only say that we need to talk to the 20th floor, and after that nothing will change! On the very first days, there were closed parties for conference participants - not only was music playing, but I also had to listen to the chorus of the singers until two in the morning.
The situation returned to normal (apparently the bar was not working) after the arrival of some Chinese delegation similar to the leadership.
11. One day, the cleaning was not done and an announcement was hung on the door handle that they could not clean - the reasons are unclear (no messages were left that cleaning was not required). The bed linen was not changed every day, a set of bathrobes was not always left, it happened that one used bathrobe was taken away, but a clean one was not put in place. Slippers for ten days - 2 sets, not changed every day.
12. The Jacuzzi did not always work in the spa area, for some reason the hammam did not work properly in the women's part.
We ordered a massage complex for two lasting a little more than 2 hours, of which we sat in the Jacuzzi for about half an hour, which was not very pleasant, the massage itself is very mediocre - it does not correspond to the price tag (1250000 soums for each person, i.e. 2.5 million soums for two).
13. Upon check-out, we were asked to wait until the room was checked, after 25 minutes of waiting in the lobby, we decided to clarify what was being checked there for so long - to which we received an answer that they simply forgot about us. The accounting documents for the payment with all the necessary checks were issued only after the second request.
You can go on and on, but I think the message is clear that a five-star hotel should have a service at a higher level than the
one that was provided.

How, while waiting for the full occupancy of the hotel, did you not ensure the availability of the entire declared assortment? Apparently the money is not needed...
The hotel is good. The rooms are clean. I didn't like the breakfast. Just one porridge. An omelet to order must be waited for 15 minutes and the filling may be confused. Soap or a bathrobe or a towel are not reported to the room as everywhere else. They drew up an act on a damaged pillowcase, but in the act the room number was crossed out and written again, and surprisingly, the one who lived in this room did not sign the act. No one helps to carry the suitcases to the room. The staff is poorly dressed. It's cold in the room, you have to monitor the temperature of the air conditioner all the time, which makes sounds of flowing water. It is paid to enter the territory by car.
