Beautiful historical place to remind everyone who fought, died and defeated Nazism. It seems that here they are trying very hard to write an alternative version of the history, there is also some "good" guys who painted a swastika on the pedestal. Though this place is still here to witness what and how it really happened, who won and who was defeated. No matter how it will be vandalized, it's not going to cure the frustration of the new fascists, this place is going to be here for still a long time.
All the photos above are not statues of Victory. She's taller.
Now almost the entire complex is being renovated, but you can walk up the stairs on the right.
Unfortunately, the entire statue below is covered with vandals, but I think it will be fixed soon.
It offers a beautiful view of the Vake area.
