For the first time we ate beshbarmak from horse meat and just a delight!

I got into the Trunk after the recommendations of Kazakh business partners. In general, all aspects of staying in a restaurant can be characterized by the words "neutral-positive". Almost the center of the city, it's convenient to drive up, taxi drivers know. The placement on the lower floor of a high-rise building with a view of the roadway through a small palisade of trees made it impossible to imagine oneself in an oasis or even privately fenced off from the world, as hinted by the name of the institution. A good ethno-design of the premises, high-quality finishing of the toilet smoothed the first impression of the view from the street.
The unhurried waitress did not appear immediately and disappeared for a long time during the evening. The choice of dishes is not bad, so we ordered a lot. I wanted to try colorful dishes of national cuisine. The portions turned out to be a decent size and 10-15 percent more than in Moscow in a restaurant of a similar level and type. The taste is acceptable, but it does not reach the rating of five. Then the meat is a little harsh, then there is not enough sharpness, then the mayonnaise is harsh and crushes the taste of good-quality vegetables. But there were no serious shortcomings in the kitchen. Not bad.
About prices. As in Moscow, they roughly correspond to the network "Uryuk" or "teahouse number 1", only the quality of food is a step better, and the service is a little more lazy. In general, I recommend it.

I came with a colleague who came from abroad, we were very hungry and I wanted to show him a delicious place. The load was about 50%, while we were seated at the worst table at the entrance to the kitchen, where it was bustling and noisy, plus dark lighting. The menus are dirty, there is no English menu, I had to turn on the flashlight and translate it through Google. The waiters paid zero attention, after about 15 minutes a girl came up, who was talking, doing a favor and, for some reason, turned around and left when asked to take an order... at the same time, we were sitting within sight of the manager, who also did not react in any way. After that, we got up and left. Friends from Astana said that the service was not very good, and they have not been going to the Chest for a long time...
