Very tasty and atmospheric!
For the first time we ate beshbarmak from horse meat and just a delight!
The prices are small, the waiters are pleasant, we highly recommend it if you want national cuisine!

Пришёл с коллегой, который приехал из-за границы, были очень голодные и мне хотелось показать ему вкусное место. Загрузка была где-то 50%, при этом нас посадили за самый плохой столик у входа в кухню, где суета и шумно, плюс тёмное освещение. Меню замусоленные, на английском меню нет, пришлось включить фонарик и через гугл переводить. Официанты ноль внимания, минут через 15 подошла девушка, которая разговаривала , делая одолжение и на просьбу принять заказ почему-то развернулась и ушла... при этом мы сидели в пределах видимости управляющего, который тоже никак не реагировал. После этого мы встали и ушли. Друзья из Астаны сказали, что обслуживание стало не очень, и они в Сундук давно не ходят... Если хотите почувствовать атмосферу пофигизма, то вам в этот ресторан. I got into the Trunk after the recommendations of Kazakh business partners. In general, all aspects of staying in a restaurant can be characterized by the words "neutral-positive". Almost the center of the city, it's convenient to drive up, taxi drivers know. The placement on the lower floor of a high-rise building with a view of the roadway through a small palisade of trees made it impossible to imagine oneself in an oasis or even privately fenced off from the world, as hinted by the name of the institution. A good ethno-design of the premises, high-quality finishing of the toilet smoothed the first impression of the view from the street.
The unhurried waitress did not appear immediately and disappeared for a long time during the evening. The choice of dishes is not bad, so we ordered a lot. I wanted to try colorful dishes of national cuisine. The portions turned out to be a decent size and 10-15 percent more than in Moscow in a restaurant of a similar level and type. The taste is acceptable, but it does not reach the rating of five. Then the meat is a little harsh, then there is not enough sharpness, then the mayonnaise is harsh and crushes the taste of good-quality vegetables. But there were no serious shortcomings in the kitchen. Not bad.
About prices. As in Moscow, they roughly correspond to the network "Uryuk" or "teahouse number 1", only the quality of food is a step better, and the service is a little more lazy. In general, I recommend it.

Сервис - официантам просто нет дела до вас.
Внутри симпатично, уютно.
Еда - на 4-. Пресновато, в мясных блюдах много овощей и мало мяса.

Этот ресторан один из первых кто накормил меня хорошо , я неделю как уже нахожусь в Астане, много где бывал и в разных ресторанах , но этот прям очень меня удивил , спасибо им большое ))) особенно официантке по имени Эля )

Всем обязательно нужно попробовать манты с тыквой. Это бомба. Все очень вкусно. Доступно. Из минусов пирог принесли тогда когда мы уже куртки хотели одевать). И десерт ждала та же участь, чайник чая выпила, а торт пришлось забрать с собой, тк про него мне кажется просто забыли )).
