An amazing place! Great views from the balcony. I recommend making your choice in favor of this place! The entire center is within walking distance. Convenient access for taxis.
The staff is polite, hospitable, speaks 3 languages: English, Russian, Georgian.
The bed linen is clean, a set of towels, bathrobes, soap, toilet paper is provided (they do not charge a separate bill for this as in other hotels). The room has fresh drinking water, kettle, refrigerator, microwave, TV, air conditioning. Blackout curtains.

Pros: very convenient location in the center: 10-15 minutes to the beach, cafes and restaurants are generally nearby. The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, normal sound insulation. They cleaned it every day, but you need to ask. Free bottled water every day in the room.
Breakfast in the room was ordered before departure. It is very tasty, satisfying, appetizing, but expensive.
Cons: Parking problem!
When we first checked in, the floor in the room was very dirty, a small child was crawling on the floor, the legs and arms were black with dirt, the maid washed the floor, but was very unhappy and said that there were slippers in the room. There were ants too, but not many. The balcony is dirty, the birds have made a mess, the windows are dirty.
We were a big company, others did not have a refrigerator, 1 chair in a 2-bed room, the bathroom was very damp and there was an unpleasant smell.

The location is 5 stars, but the room was pumped up: everything is beautiful, as in the photo, the Comfort room (specially charged a little more expensive) has a really large and comfortable bed, only instead of a sea view we had a second floor overlooking the road (and beyond it the sea could be seen through the trees) and the corresponding noise, which the balcony door did not hide at all when closed. Everything was leaking in the shower from under the cubicle and sink, and after the shower everything was floating on the floor like in a pool, the heated towel rail did not work and therefore it was damp and even the towels did not dry during the day. The room itself was also probably damp, because I was covered with an allergy in the form of a cough that I could not sleep without pills.

The price and quality fully correspond to my ideas of 4 stars. I would diversify the breakfasts, but it's a matter of taste. You don't have to take it. But the morning coffee on the veranda of the restaurant is wonderful.

I want to write about the summer terrace of the Admiral Hotel.
Great location, great view, very courteous and friendly
service.
The prices may be a little high with an average price tag in the city, but the dishes themselves, their volume, presentation and taste are above all praise!!!
Besides, we have been a little tired of national food for a long time and chose a restaurant with different cuisines as a rest. There are also Georgian dishes, but rather they are European dishes in a Georgian way, and European, including pizza and so on.
It was incredibly delicious and beautiful!!!

It was not the first time we went to the restaurant on the 4th floor, before that we did not have to take seafood or fish. We immediately sat down with a large company and 2 people, including me, ordered Buyabes soup with seafood, it didn't taste bad, but how I regretted at night that my choice fell on this position. For 15 years I have not had such pains and cramps, my whole stomach ached as much as possible, after 4 a.m. I woke up because of vomiting and diarrhea that suddenly started at the same time, I could not sleep anymore and missed a trip to Svaneti, where my friends still left. A friend who ordered a similar soup suffers from the same symptoms and spent the whole night hugging the toilet.
By the way, when we booked a table for 11 people in a few days, we were told to come and figure it out along the way, when there were one more of us - 12, the waiter came up and said that they would not be able to serve us because more than 11 of us came... there were places on the veranda, we settled in them, trying to negotiate with by the staff, we still managed to eat, but the waiter said that this was the last time... your words are in God's ears! Don't set foot here, health is more important
Ps a friend told me she was in the same place about a month ago and they took mussels, the result was similar to ours, apparently the owners absolutely don't care what their guests eat. Maybe the hotel is fine, but I wouldn't flirt with their food

Fraud... they tried to put us in a more expensive room that we hadn't booked. They said the hotel was full. After a long struggle, they finally gave us the room we had booked. The manager was wearing a beer-stained T-shirt and walking around with beer. The hotel needs renovation. The breakfast in the restaurant was tasteless.

Nice cozy hotel, attentive staff. Everything is clean, the rooms are cleaned at the proper level, I really liked it! The breakfasts are varied and delicious, but the service is slow.... The view from the terrace is magnificent. The location is excellent, in the old town: close to shops and the promenade of the embankment and Piazza and much more)

I arrived at a room in which the shower did not work, they promised to fix it the next day - they did not fix it. They moved to another room with exactly the same problem. I left them.
Ants were crawling in both rooms.
The food is overpriced, the neighboring establishments serve tastier and cheaper. And at the end, construction began under my windows, scaffolding was put up, builders on my balcony and on the scaffolding shouted something. The windows looked out into the courtyard and there was a kindergarten or something, children were screaming periodically.
From the good: free bottled drinking water on request.

The location is excellent (in my opinion, this is the Admiral's biggest plus, better than on the noisy first line, where there are only high-rise buildings), near the Old Square, you can go to breakfast every day.There is a cozy veranda on the top floor, although it is better to book a table in advance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, well cleaned. We lived in a junior suite, the windows faced the road. Very noisy, poor sound insulation. The breakfast menu is only in Georgian and English. We didn't notice any vacationers who spoke English. Mostly Georgians, Russians and Ukrainians. The desire to go to Europe is doing its job. And ordinary citizens are kind, responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
