The oldest (of the undeveloped) churches in the territory of modern Belarus. It was built as a Catholic church. In the second half of the 16th century, it was adapted to the Calvin collection, and in 1641 it was returned to the Catholics.
The church was built in the Gothic style. Elements typical of Gothic architecture are evident in the star-shaped and cross-vaulted arches with ribs, external buttresses, in the high gable roof, the decoration of the main facade and buttresses with flat niches of various shapes and sizes, in the lancet windows and doorways. The figured completion of the wall of the main facade and the soft curved outlines of the buttresses give the temple a sculptural appearance that softens the monumental appearance of the monument.
The oldest church in the Republic of Belarus, preserved in its original condition. It looks decent, the territory is landscaped, there is Parking. To see it, you need to drive away from the busy highways into the countryside, not far away, and it's worth it. I recommend. Year of construction 1472
A very beautiful unusual 15th century Belarusian Gothic church in the Belarusian village of Ishkold. It is the architectural solution that attracts travelers and a place with a deep history. The church is being looked after ; we were in the summer - clean around ; perfect lawn . The doors are ajar ; you can look at the interior ; at the windows with stained glass windows . We are very glad that we had a chance to see this highlight of the Belarusian land.
It's a pleasure to be here. We were in autumn, we came here in beautiful sunny weather, a very beautiful place, even to walk around the neighborhood.
The place is old, very attractive. We got to the service on Sunday. A young priest served, I really liked his speech.
A great building, we were passing through to see an example of 15th century architecture. The architecture of that time was strict and modest. There was still a little bit left before the heyday of the Renaissance. The temple is active, I listened to the bell ringing at 12:00.
The Church of the Holy Trinity. It was founded in 1449 by the then owner of the estate, Nikolai Nemirovich. In the period between 1468-71. It was consecrated by Bishop Jan Losovich of Vilna. In the second half of the XVI century, by order of Nikolai Radziwill, the "Black" was equipped for a Calvinist gathering. In 1641, it was returned to the Catholics. It was severely damaged during the Moscow Flood. In 1868, the Russian authorities closed the church and handed over the building to the Orthodox Church. The authorities of interwar Poland returned it to Catholics again. In 1969, the Soviet authorities, despite the protest of local residents, closed the temple, and the church items were removed. In the 1980s, the building was restored, after which it was returned to Catholics.
This is a unique temple of Gothic architecture in Belarus. The oldest church among those that have never been rebuilt.
Interesting architecture, neat and well-maintained territory. It's worth stopping by.

A magnificent original ancient church. I strongly recommend you to visit. During the last trip, we also managed to communicate with the parishioners - responsive, sociable women, who told us a lot about the history of the temple.
The church is beautiful both inside and out! Not rich, in the old style, 1472, if I'm not mistaken, we got into it by accident - we saw the pointer, and we never regretted it)))
It is definitely necessary to visit. This is probably the only example of pure Gothic in our country. When there is no service, you can see the interior of the temple through the lattice. This year he turns 550 years old!
A medieval church with very massive and thick walls. It once served as a defensive structure. You can feel the spirit of the times and centuries when you are there...
The oldest Church in Belarus. 15th century. The unforgettable feeling of touching the story. So much has happened on our land during this time, but it stands and, I hope, will serve us and our descendants for a long time
The church is unusual in architecture. It is believed that it has never been rebuilt and has been preserved since the 15th century, being the oldest in Belarus.
As it is written, this is the oldest church in Belarus. That's why we went. It takes 20 minutes to inspect and take a photo. There's not much else to do there. This is not a museum.
