Heavy Kazakh suite) I like it, it's quite authentic. A convenient location for me, where I needed to go on business, I got there pretty quickly. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and undisturbed. The bathroom was clean, the water was hot and the pressure was also fine.

A good hotel. In a relatively quiet place. The rooms are cozy and clean. Friendly staff. The restaurant brings huge portions and is not expensive, if you order the first and you are not a behemoth, then the second may not fit) but you can do it together. Shops and everything you need are within walking distance.

A great place to stay in Almaty - the center, decent rooms and breakfasts corresponding to 4+
What did you like:
1. There were no queues at the reception, registration took no more than 5 minutes, politely and affably
2. The room. I rented a deluxe room, there are no questions about it - gels, shampoos, bathrobe, dental kits, mini bar, huge bed;
3. Noise insulation - I note this point in hotels separately - at the level, nothing was heard;
4. Breakfast is a great choice, delicious, fresh

I put 4* on credit. It feels like 3 points and definitely not a 4-star hotel!
+ overall clean and friendly
+ the bathroom is good
+ sound insulation in the room is normal
+ good breakfasts, but monotonous. You will feel it if you stay here for more than 2 nights
+ nice bar on the 2nd floor
- view from the window of a house under construction((
- the location is rather unsuccessful - there is a construction site and five-storey buildings around, the river is ugly - all in concrete and with thresholds, it looks more like a canal
- there is a SPA center with a sauna in the description of the hotel, but it does not work and you will only find out about it on the spot
- it's a long way to the center, where it's quite cozy
- old tired furniture and primitive materials
- cheap
- the refrigerator for drinks almost does not cool, but it buzzes like an airplane on takeoff
- the room is very stuffy in winter, the batteries are fried and not regulated, the window cannot be opened because of the noise from the road
- there are strange staff at the reception, gloomy and unfriendly, but there are no complaints about their work

A good hotel, the rooms have all the little things necessary for a comfortable stay (bathrobes, dental kits, etc.), good breakfasts. I put 4 tk. our Windows faced the church, and behind the church, apparently, there is a dog that barked regularly around 6 a.m.

The Plaza Hotel leaves a mixed impression. One of the advantages is the cozy atmosphere and cleanliness, for which you can praise. However, the staff greets customers "by their clothes", which leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. Waiters indulge in jokes, forgetting that they are at work, and this spoils the overall impression of the service. The hotel is very hot, there is not enough fresh air, and the windows, unfortunately, do not open. The kitchen cooks well, but the dumplings are most likely store–bought - they are falling apart. The portions are average and the prices are overpriced. The taste of the kitchen deserves 4 out of 5. It would be nice to hear pleasant music in the hall, it would add comfort.

There was a flight delay on the plane, we were accommodated in this hotel. We really liked it: it's cozy, beautiful, and comfortable inside. Breakfast was a buffet, lunch was brought. Everything is very tasty at home. Everything is great!!!😍

A small hotel, more like a boutique hotel.
In general, the whole place is cozy, but there was not enough scale for me. A small lobby, everything is very compact.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is water, tea, bathrobes.
With a view of the mountains, I would argue, perhaps because of the weather there was no view.
I didn't like the area, obviously not the center. For me, the outskirts.
The breakfast is a buffet, a large assortment, but I didn't really like the taste, the dishes were cold.
Overall a good hotel, but clearly not worth the stated price.

Clean, friendly, good water pressure in the shower, normal Wi-Fi. Good location.
I was not pleased that through the door you can hear the maids talking loudly in the middle of the day, and you are sleeping after a night flight from Moscow.
Again, for such cases, I would like an early check-in 3 hours earlier at 9 and not at 12 so that it would not cost like a whole day, I am sure that this is real on weekdays

Dignities:
• the price includes a good breakfast with continental cuisine
• large enough rooms, good bathrooms in the rooms, comfortable large bed, location (Abaya Ave. is a 15-minute walk away)
• Price/quality ratio
• Daily room cleaning
• there are surveillance cameras in the corridor of the rooms
Disadvantages:
• the restaurant for lunch and dinner at the hotel is significantly inferior to the nearby "the river" both in price and in quality of dishes
Overall, a great hotel to stay in Almaty for a week.

The breakfasts were delicious! Although we only managed to try the lunch boxes that were collected for us, we left much earlier than breakfast at the hotel began.

The hotel is generally quite good, conveniently located in the center. I was lucky with the room, my colleague was less lucky, he was moved into a room with a broken window. It's the same in the room on the street -17. They immediately refused to move into another room, offered an additional heater and tape the window with tape, leaving a gap in the frame with a finger. I had to explain for 20 minutes that this was not an option, and we succeeded with great difficulty. The breakfast buffet is a rich selection of breakfast food. There is a parking lot.

Confident 3 stars, gets into an average comfort hotel. Confident, but still average.
Pros: the location can be called successful. Not so far from the center, you can walk.
Responsive staff, all issues were resolved quickly.
It is suitable for one day for business trips.
Cons:
- the price is too high if we consider the price/quality ratio
- breakfast is average. Coffee from a coffee machine at breakfast can discourage forever drinking coffee in the morning. Actually, many people will find this a plus, but you obviously don't expect this.
- repair and attention to detail: the sink is cracked, the door jamb is stratified, the windows miss all sounds from the street, as do the doors of what is happening in the corridor.

Great hotel. Spacious room, gel and shampoo are updated, there is a toothbrush. Shower stall. The bed is big. There is a partial view of the mountains, the river is noisy at night, the hotel is on a small embankment. Minus - the window does not open completely, only for ventilation. On the 2nd floor there is an outdoor terrace of the bar, it is very pleasant to sit in the evening. There is a refrigerator. The breakfast is wonderful, varied, European, only the oatmeal needs to be changed, very dirty, a lot of husks. Overall, only positive impressions.

Breakfast could have been more varied. If you arrive at the wrong time, then the choice of breakfast dishes may be limited. A nice bonus is the music. The piano, even though it's on the record.. It's great for breakfast.
As for accommodation, if you're lucky. I have no complaints, but my colleagues complained about the noise and even had to call the administrator. The noise was like a fight. Fortunately, the administrator quickly appeared and solved the problem. So, as luck would have it with the neighbors.
The conference room does not have very good ventilation. In different places, people periodically felt the smells of burning wood, then brewed doshirak. Several people at once. And there was enough oxygen for a maximum of an hour and a half. If there are more than 50 of you, then you need to plan breaks for an hour so as not to fall asleep.
There is no desktop in the room, and difficulties may arise when working with a computer on a business trip.
There are no questions about cleaning the premises.

the room is clean and spacious. the declared refrigerator is missing. the safe is in the closet - it just lies there, not fixed in any way. the safe is very small - take it and take it away. towels are already with protruding threads - they clearly need to be replaced. inside the hotel, everything is in gold - of course, expensive-rich. the breakfast is generally decent, there are not enough stars from the sky, but even fruits are in the assortment. large cups for tea, which is a huge plus for me - I don't like to drink from beakers. there is even loose tea - but there is no teapot. the attitude of the staff is complete stupidity. It was announced in advance - the acceptance of plastic cards from the Russian Federation. I even asked again - I wrote off in their favorite wozzap. I'm arriving at 4 a.m. No, we don't accept anymore, we changed our shoes and decided like this. but to warn - no, we do not warn. It is also important for those who are light sleepers: the rooms are sooo noisy!! or this river, as it were, even through the closure of the glass. Either the air conditioner is the cheapest and very noisy. it is also very dark in the windows - the window does not open completely, and there is a thick, dense tinting film on the glass. It seems, even on the sunniest day, that the weather apocalypse is about to begin outside. Bottom line: you can live. but if there is an alternative, it is better not to come here. and ask for a room NOT with a view of the river

Positive:

- I liked the area;
- You can see the mountains from the window when there is no smog
Minuses:
- The people at the reception do not show any interest in helping the guests at all;
- The mattress was badly sagged;
- The breakfast food is so-so. The choice is small and not tasty. Cheap sliced sausage, sausages, porridge, scrambled eggs and omelette are from the main course.. Juices for breakfast are some kind of chemical something, not juice;
- For some reason, the cleaning in the room was in the evening - around 17-00. After a while, they will forget to leave new slippers, then a toothbrush;
- If you have windows on the embankment, it's very noisy at night from the river, it's hard to fall asleep with the window open;
- they give 0.5 bottles of water per person per day, if you want more, it's for a fee. At the same time, there was 1 bag of green tea and 1 bag of black tea in the room;
- there was an old air conditioner in the room, which made a lot of noise when working;
- the room was obviously poorly cleaned before my check-in - there was a receipt from previous tenants on the floor. In addition, the grille on the hood in the bathroom was black with dirt;
- the website indicates that there is a sauna, in fact - it is either under repair, or it is not there at all;
Total: for such a price and with 4 stars, I clearly expected more
