The Hyurem Mausoleum, very beautiful inside, like the Sultan Suleiman mausoleum, is 10 steps from one to the other, even after death nearby. Great love. Admission is free, the place is very beautiful, atmospheric, the observation deck at the mosque is beautiful! I advise everyone to come and see.
A place for true connoisseurs of the TV series "Magnificent Century" near the Suleymaniye Mosque. Everyone else will be obviously disappointed: the mausoleum is very cramped, and several people can barely squeeze through the front door. There is also little room inside. Don't forget to take off your shoes before entering this Muslim tomb! (This, by the way, also requires space and time!) In general, if you can not live without Hurrem Sultan, you are here!
Oh.. well, what can I say... For the sake of visiting this place, one might say, I came)))
And the Suleymaniye mosque itself, and the mausoleums of Sultan Suleiman, Hurrem and their relatives are very beautiful, the view from the observation deck is magnificent, the atmosphere is quiet and calm, despite the many tourists. Unlike other popular tourist destinations, admission is free.
I highly recommend you to visit.
If you walk down to Eminenu from there, you can make a great noise))
I recommend fans of the series to visit there. The architecture, the history, the place is really interesting. Visiting on your own, without tour groups, is the best and right decision.
It is located within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, you can visit the tomb of Hurrem Sultan, and the nearby tomb of the Sultan. (except Monday, the crypt is closed on Mondays). The cemetery is adjacent to a very beautiful mosque, offering an unforgettable view of the Golden Horn Bay.
I haven't watched The Magnificent Century, so for me, all the performances are from history textbooks. But the building is notable, he says that the one in whose honor it was erected is a very significant figure. It's quiet and beautiful inside, I just want to sit on the windowsill and think about the eternal.. But you can't.
We looked at where Hurrem was lying. The place is small, near the Sultan Suleiman Mausoleum and the Suleimaniye Mosque. Be sure to visit when you are in Istanbul.
After watching the magnificent century, I really wanted to see everything. The impressions are not transferable, it is a very atmospheric historical place.I recommend it!
Such a landmark place for Turks. Once I got there, I felt the inappropriateness of being there. Well, that's understandable
Everything is clean, tidy, and calm inside
Walking around Istanbul, we accidentally stumbled upon the mausoleum of Roksolana (in Turkish Hurrem), the Slavic concubine of the Ottoman Sultan, whose story is known in the world through the famous Turkish TV series.
The mosque is beautiful, I liked it very much, it is better than blue and there are not many people, the atmosphere is better, a sense of peace, tranquility, and beauty, I loved Roksolana very much and you can feel it all.
One of the most beautiful places, it feels like there was a lot of love, affection and respect! I recommend it one-time!!!

Hurrem Sultan, also known as Roksolana (circa 1502 or circa 1505 — April 15 or 18, 1558), was a concubine and later the wife of the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman I the Magnificent and the mother of Sultan Selim II. Her real name remains unknown, although the names Alexandra or Anastasia Gavrilovna Lisovskaya are often mentioned in the literature.
Hurrem actively participated in the political life of the Ottoman Empire, analyzed events and supported Suleiman in most decisions. She was also involved in charity work, which led to the construction of large mosques and hospitals.
In 1521, Suleiman gave her the title of Haseki, which came to denote the sultan's main wife. During the years of their marriage, Hurrem gave birth to six children, of whom five were sons.
Hurrem Sultan died in 1558 and was buried in the most luxurious tomb among all the members of the sultan's family.
Shoes need to be left outside, there are no shawl skirts here, admission is free, you can take pictures.
The Blue Mosque or Sultanahmet, this is the place where you are drawn every time you arrive in Istanbul! I love this place and not when I don 't get bored 🥰
