Going to the very top is actually very exhilarating and fun. Beautiful scenery, and an amazing restaurant on the 2nd to last peak before you reach the top. Good time, free parking, all around exciting getaway for a day or two.

A tiny and lovely spa town which is located not far from Yerevan (~50mins driving). Most crowded in the winter time as people come here for ice skiing. Highly recommended!

Great resort! Wide trails, several levels of chairlifts, few people - so it's safe to descend! There's a cool lounge area downstairs: drinks, food, music! There are instructors! You can see Ararat from the highest point in clear weather! And I am also pleased with the cost: (I will write in rubles ) -the whole day 2 thousand, 4 hours -1.5 thousand)) at least hide away)) It's perfect for beginners! Basically all the trails are without steep descents!

There wasn't much snow in January, and there are a lot of bald spots. The ski complex is small, but everything you need is there: rental, repair, sports shop, cafe, hotels. However, in some service points they overestimate the price, frankly trying to make money. For example, if a snowboard needs to be repaired.
In general, it would be nice if there were not a small amount of snow.
The price of a daily ski pass in January 2025 is 14 thousand drams (~ 3.5 thousand rubles), which is expensive for a small resort.

It's just some kind of caper. The only pleasant thing is the exceptionally polite and friendly local population. The people are wonderful. And everyone speaks Russian, who is better, who is worse.
And now about kapets:
1. There is no snow from the word at all. There are rocks and ice on the slopes.
2. There is no artificial snowmaking. That is, if you're lucky, you won't be lucky. I was unlucky. Ice and rocks.
3. The tracks are not always spent. The situation is like this, you're flying down a rocky-icy slope and suddenly there's a 20-centimeter-high cliff ahead.
4. Terribly slow cable cars. The climb from the bottom to the top point took 40 minutes. I spotted it on purpose.
5. The wind. The cable cars are double-seat and without safety lights. In 40 minutes of climbing, you turn into a piece of ice.
P.S. If you write that there are good tracks this year, don't believe it. The locals told us that it had just snowed. And I'm sorry, it was February 15th. Before that, it didn't exist at all.

On the downside: there are no snow cannons, and there are interruptions with snow in Armenia) (there are guns in Mailer, and the quality of the slopes is noticeably better).

At that time, due to the fact that there is a lot of wind at the top, the lift to the top did not work every day. The tracks are prepared. The maximum is Blue except for a couple of small areas. The views are great, but again not every day because of the clouds. Ararat showed up once for 15 minutes in 5 days. The people are hospitable. The weather is normal. It's warmer down there. We lived in the Soviet writer's house. I liked everything. Especially the conference room. The wonders of technical thought on stage and closing windows. The food is satisfying in the Soviet way and delicious. Transfer to the mountain. The driver is a great guy. He organized a trip to a warm spring for us. You can go to the lake or visit the churches. The village is quiet in the evening. Milking lovers has a casino. I won't go a second time.

I read all the reviews before coming here. I was worried that there would be no snow, that we would not like something, after all, it's a long way. But I was absolutely delighted. The trails are a dream: wide, the snow is loose, there are few people, it's very picturesque around. The only drawback is the slightly outdated infrastructure, I would like to have a funicular in the third stage, as it is very cold and slow to climb on cable cars. There is no snow on the trails in some places, and there are a couple of sections throughout the resort. But it's worth considering that there are no guns here and all the snow is natural. In general, I was delighted, I will definitely come back here again. I wish the resort a lot of snow and prosperity. I would also like to mention the kindness and cordiality of the people. But it's probably not just here, but all over Armenia. Karen's instructor taught my friend from scratch to ride without fear on her own from the red track.

I was on New Year's holidays in 2025. The weather is cool and sunny. There is not much snow, there are bare places where the wind just blows snow. Well, this is a feature of Tsakhnadzor. In general, the tracks are rolled up and prepared. The long-term experience of the resort is having an effect. The people are friendly, they speak Russian. There are a lot of tourists just walking, watching, taking a walk. I wish I could come here again, YES. I will definitely come.

We visited Armenia and Tsakhkadzor for the first time-we were just delighted! Very friendly people, comfortable infrastructure, well-prepared trails, good organization of the resort. The tracks are simple, wide, convenient for both beginners and those who hone their skills. There is a possibility of safe freeride. Fantastic views from the top point. We were in the summer, the lift to the top does not work, only in season. The cost of lifting is 3000. Beautiful views. Upstairs, you can ride laps and quadricks for an additional fee. There are a couple of food stalls. But in principle, there is nothing much to do upstairs, there are no viewing platforms.

We spent a week in February, I really liked it. There are only five lifts, the trails are mainly for beginners and trained skiers. Professionals will be bored! But for fans of freeride - Klondike! From the top point of Mount Tehenis, height 2850, you can immediately drive through the virgin land. There is a strong wind on the upper lift, otherwise very good. There were no queues for lifts.

The trails are wide and they are well served. It's a pleasure to ride.
The 2nd and 3rd lines of lifts were without hoods, which sometimes caused discomfort when the wind rose. At an altitude of almost 3,000 meters in the wind, there was not always a desire to climb on open lifts. Indoor lifts would solve the problem.
Otherwise, everything is fine.
There are very few people on weekdays and the tracks do not break almost all day.

We were in the spring, at the end of April there is still snow above 2500, but it is no longer possible to ride, the chairlift is open, the lift is 3000 AMD, parking is paid 300 AMD per hour. I've been to Tsakhkadzor 3 times already. The lifts are certainly old and slow. But the tracks are great, there was a lot of snow. Beautiful views. The resort has expanded a lot over the years. 3) Daily skipass is about 3,000 rubles, which is more expensive than the much cooler Georgian Gudauri and Tetnuldi.

We were at the end of February, there was little snow, there was even clay, but a day before the departure there was a lot of snow, we had a great ride.
Price guide:
1 day of skiing (ski pass) - 2400 rubles.
1 day of equipment rental (person) - 1500 rubles.
The only drawback is the open lifts, when the wind is strong, it is difficult to climb up because of the cold.
Tsakhadzor is an excellent ski resort with wide slopes, a minimum of people and beautiful landscapes.

A great ski resort! Not only to ride, but also to take a walk, ride a cable car. There is equipment rental, but you need to arrive early then. There are not many people on weekdays, and on weekends there is even a queue for the lift, 5-10 minutes. To buy a ski pass card for the lift (for the whole day. On the next day, it can be extended or handed over to collect the fee for the card itself) or a one-time trip (1 round trip, if without skis). Payment by card or in drams. I want to note that the DJ sets a huge charge of energy and mood! I declare my gratitude to him for my excellent mood, although I did not ride out of our entire company of 11 people). There is a choice of soup, pizza, shawarma and of course drinks with degrees in the cafe for lunch). We went to a cafe or rental to keep warm, and normally everyone understands that it's cold! I also want to say a huge thank you for your responsiveness and hospitality: a local family drove us and our children to the city, picking us up on the way)!!!
