I saw an icon of Joseph of Belgorod to the right of the entrance, probably, judging by the condition, an ancient one.. Who knows the story of her appearance in the temple, please write! I am from Belgorod and it was amazing to see the icon of our Miracle Worker here, so far from my homeland. Thanks!

Strict rules, but they got into the position that they had just arrived, confessed, and blessed to receive communion.
The Liturgy on Sunday was at 7.30. Evening service the day before at 13.30.
God save us for the warm welcome, the opportunity to attend the Liturgy, and receive Communion.
Many and good summers to the rector of the temple, the priests, everyone who works in the Temple, helps the parishioners.

Such a nice place. The priest is cheerful, not formidable like the others. Prices for church utensils and candles are lower than everywhere else. Very nice people. The church is tiny, but there are almost no others in Gagra. Except for the restored Temple next to the Abaat. In general, everything is mentally simple.

A small temple, cozy, atmospheric.
Wonderful clergymen, reverent, prayerful. Father Pavel (Hieromonk Paisii) is one of the oldest priests in Abkhazia. He's been here for many years, Father.Orthodox Christians know and revere and are loved by all parishioners of the Gagra Church.
The services are held in full order and are accompanied by an amazing singing choir. I have never heard such a well-coordinated choir anywhere else. Morning and evening services begin and end quite early. Therefore, you can always get home to Pitsunda, Mussera and other remote corners. Please visit this holy place.
