As they wrote in one of the reviews, only the name ((( remained of the former. In Soviet times, the Central Department Store was really a central store where you could buy almost EVERYTHING. And now it's simple, a trading house and that says it all))).
On the plus side, there is a cinema on the ground floor and a grocery store in the basement, which is very convenient for those who live nearby. They sell cell phones on the second floor, I won't say I wasn't interested in the prices.
For tourists, if you walk around the city center, you can come here for a snack and relax. There are various cafes on the ground floor, and they are also nearby on the Arbat.
The most important information for guests of the city, on the third floor there are boutiques with a variety of souvenirs for every taste and purse. Be sure to buy some for yourself and friends to remember Kazakhstan by!
Another disadvantage is that parking in the center is paid everywhere and you still need to find a free place))
