My birthday was celebrated on September 22, 2024. I was with my husband and 2 children. We ordered 4 different hot dishes, salad, drinks (without alcohol). The next day, my son had a fever of 40, which could not be brought down, vomiting every 5 minutes and diarrhea. A day later, the temperature of 39.5 rose in the youngest child with the same symptoms, then I had abdominal pain. Unfortunately, on 23/09 we left for Brest, and 4 days later we flew to Russia. The eldest child suffered with such symptoms for 10 days! The diagnosis is SALMONELLOSIS! I am attaching a certificate. I am sure that we picked it up in this institution, because it was the last point of catering where we all ate before going to Brest. BE CAREFUL WHEN VISITING THIS PLACE! We need to check it out!

We came and it turned out that the institution was open from 14.00, perhaps there is a logical explanation for this, but we did not like walking for 15 minutes in the cold. We ordered borscht and brought a pale soup with a strange sour-salty taste. The borscht seemed dubious to the adult women at the next table, too.
The borscht was served with WHITE bread and semi-frozen watery lard.
And we ordered pancakes with chanterelles in a pot - the CRUNCH of DIRT on our teeth has been with us ever since! I understand that chanterelle is a fox fluke and porous. But if they are washed normally piece by piece, and not just rinsed in a basin, then there will be no earth left in them!!!

First. That no one writes in the reviews.. This is not a cafe.. No one will come in here for coffee..
This is a restaurant-bar/pub.
It is located in the basement, I liked the rough wooden interior, I don't like each other - so everyone has their own place here.
Why the Yankees call it, and everywhere the crane is depicted on the menu, is a mystery.
I didn't like that there was no soap in the toilets. Maybe this is the norm for this institution.
According to the food, the draniki were overcooked / more precisely, all three were burnt. Machanka is delicious. The plate of croutons turned out to be the largest plate of croutons in my life. Beer is ok.
Total: for comparison with Cornflowers, which are 30 meters away.
The price is about the same.
In Cornflowers, the food tastes better / looks better, but there are many times more people and noisier.
It's good for Yankees to gather with friends for vodka or beer.

If it would be possible to put 10 points, then I would. An amazing, beautiful, gorgeous place. Our acquaintance with Minsk began with him and our vacation ended with him. Excellent value for money. We were with a family of 10 people. The atmosphere is cozy, reminiscent of a tavern, the staff is wonderful, smiling, kind and very nimble. The menu was chosen traditional Belarusian: borscht (you'll lick your fingers, but you'll fight for savory lard), shingles with brisket and mushrooms (so that I could cook so delicious), wizards with chops (I didn't even know that such things happen), a rustic frying pan (pork and magic potatoes are tender), dessert ("ahhh we will cook this quickly" These words of the waiter struck me for some reason). Each dish is cooked with love. The feed is fast. The bear on the wall :))) looks strong.

The preface. We were standing at the Cornflower cafe, in line, they said to wait 20-30 minutes to let us into the cafe and wait 40 minutes for cooking. (But they recommended it to us, so we stood there...we were waiting) Well, it's such a pleasure.... We found a cafe at the Yankee's by location, and the three of us went exploring. We looked at the menu, and in anticipation of the order, my husband went to get the rest. And we did not lose, but on the contrary, we won. After 15 minutes, we started eating. Everyone had a delicious dinner and went for a walk well-fed and satisfied.

A very strange policy of the "restaurant".
The first day we had dinner at the restaurant next door, then we decided to change course and came here. The waiter advised borscht and I asked for ONE GARLIC, not the head, but one clove to the borscht, to which it was said that they would give it if they counted it as horseradish (and this is almost 100 rubles for Russian money), for one clove)) provided that we were going to take a lot of tasting dishes for the sake of. After this delightful pettiness, we got up and went back to the same place where we had dinner the first day and there we were happily handed a clove of garlic for borscht, and treated with blood even after our impressions of you. We plan to bring these comrades a head of onion and garlic tomorrow, so that they will not be ashamed if someone asks for a garlic clove or a quarter of an onion for borscht.

There is no organization in the establishment, if you want to eat here more than an hour before closing, you will encounter the fact that three waiters will give you different information. At first they will say that there are no hot dishes, but everything else can be ordered. And after 5 minutes you will find out that in fact you can only order cold snacks. When asked why they couldn't even cook a salad for us, they said that the kitchen closes in half an hour, but they are so heavily loaded that they will not be able to cook absolutely anything. The dumplings served to us were boiled. As the children who were with us noticed, the meat jumped out of the dumplings.
The draniki were not impressed.
The only delicious dish was the fish cut.
