Cafe "Corner" is a cozy place that is really worth a visit, especially if you like well—cooked meat. One of the central dishes for which this cafe is appreciated is chicken tabaka.
The tobacco chicken turns out amazing here! The meat is incredibly juicy, and the crust is golden and crispy. It is prepared with a sincere approach, and it is felt from the first bite. The unique marinade gives the chicken a delicious taste, and the cooking secrets make it really special.
The staff is always polite and helpful, which makes your stay even more enjoyable.
The Corner is a wonderful choice for gourmets, and I recommend everyone to visit this place, especially for the sake of the famous tobacco chicken!
If you want to plunge into the era and atmosphere of the good old delicious traditions, then you definitely go there! Tobacco chickens are simply delicious!!! The staff is polite and tidy! Everything is clean and pleasant. There are 2 floors, on the ground floor there is a large hall with tables. The service is on the level. There is a private parking lot. The location is the city center, there are a lot of local attractions around (a square, museums, recreation parks and just walking areas).
We were in the restaurant, on the second floor. There is a cafe with the same name on the ground floor. The restaurant is like teleportation to the USSR :)) The atmosphere is exactly like that! The service is very fast and friendly. The main dish is tobacco chicken. There is alcohol, a little different, but mostly strong drinks. We drank tea with lemon :)) 2 servings of chicken, salad, appetizer, bread, tea, lemon - for all 220. Everything is delicious! There is music, local people come to celebrate some kind of holiday, so it can be noisy. The price-quality ratio is 5
Oooh, the restaurant of our very young time!!!! The kitchen has been transformed visually and beyond praise, it is very beautiful and delicious on the second floor. The service is excellent, the staff is very attentive and polite.I definitely recommend it!!!! Especially for the guests of the city!!! Tobacco chickens are excellent
We had a delicious meal. Pleasant atmosphere of the early 2000s. The music is dancing and the selection of songs is very good. The kitchen didn't disappoint either. There is alcohol at quite reasonable prices. Nice lemonades. We took mango passion fruit, and there was a radish! It turned out very tasty))) Thank you for your hospitality, we will come again!
Was this the restaurant we were advised to visit? And we are very grateful!!! The restaurant is just great! They say that the recipes of the dishes have been preserved since Soviet times, the chip is the chicken of tobacco! It's really delicious, and chicken and salads, and lemonades! The portions are large, to be honest, after the salad, the pulp was already difficult to enter, but it looked so appetizing that they ate everything! And they also bake bread and serve it warm and crispy!!! In short, for those who will be in Tashkent, I recommend visiting the restaurant! (Prices are very affordable)
A very pleasant place in the city center. Although the menu does not shine with a super variety of dishes (personally, I would like to see a larger selection of dishes of national cuisine), but everything is very tasty. The staff is very kind and efficient, although the young people had some problems understanding the nuances of the Russian language, but the older comrades "sorted everything out" almost instantly.
The price tag, by local standards, is not small, but by Moscow standards it is more than humane.
In general, I can recommend this institution with a clear conscience.
Very tasty tobacco chickens. Fast service. Clean, neat. The prices are small. And most importantly, the music of the 80s. Very incendiary. The visitors dance with pleasure.
I have been in Tashkent for 3 years , and every time I visit a corner, the friendly atmosphere is very tasty, the waiters are friendly, the prices are reasonable👍👍👍 thank you very much to the owner I recommend👍👍👍
If you are in Tashkent and do not visit this place, then you will be terribly sorry later. This cafe has been open since the second half of the twentieth century and specializes in cockroach chickens. And although it has been rebuilt and refreshed many times, only here you can feel the native Soviet atmosphere of catering. It is a very endemic place. Families come here. There is a smoking and non-smoking room. There's even a restaurant upstairs-but that's not the same anymore. It's always crowded, noisy, and drunk downstairs. Sit down at an empty table (you may have to wait) and a not young, but very sincere waitress will fly to you. order whole chicken, fresh salad, salted and vodka! And in a few minutes you will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the 70s-the polyphony of local speech and delicious food. Everything is brought on metal trays. Vodka can be bottled in faceted glasses. They count on a piece of paper. In general, a thrill for fans of the Soviet era and Uzbek flavor.
The restaurant is old, I read the reviews myself before going, but they wrote everywhere about good cuisine, I confirm. The portions are large, there is a lot of meat in soups, I took Tashkent salad, everything is tender and a lot, a huge portion of jelly, and of course the branded chicken. The cuisine really resembles the Soviet one, but it is delicious, not greasy. The restaurant's interior is a bit old, but clean and cozy in its own way. The waitress worked well, the dishes were served quickly, a nice bonus in the form of a glass with sauce for the chicken. If you just want to have a delicious and satisfying meal, without complaints about the interior, you are here.
Delicious food, reasonable prices for a place in the very center, good portions, there is alcohol, a calm cozy soft atmosphere, not noisy, pleasant background music, you can communicate, high-quality service. I have been here several times with a long break over the years. A great place for dates, birthdays, corporate parties, as well as for business meetings. There is a separate enclosed area from the common room.
A good place for students, a neat place, delicious food, self-service and there are also waiters is located in the city center next to the law university
We were there again recently, everything is also delicious, but smoky, there are no places, the waiters are serious and tired, but delicious! Since there were no places, we took them with us and ate at home! Delicious!
This place is somewhat reminiscent of the Soviet Union, canteens, furnishings, service, even slicing bread :) but definitely delicious! We took a kilogram, and Amirchik and I had enough for a couple of days :)
Corner. I like him. We visit it very often with our employees. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is normal. And the prices are reasonable. In general, everything is not bad.
Well, this is the cafe of my Soviet childhood! Now, of course, the restaurant! Maybe I was so "lucky", or maybe it's okay here, but there were no places!))) I had to wait a bit. On the 1st floor there are places for smokers, on the 2nd floor it is more presentable. But nothing can affect the taste of chickens! Everything is also delicious, the sauce seems to have been preserved in my childhood and opened for me in 2024! Very tasty. And the plates, in my opinion, are also from childhood.
The food is great, everything is authentic, modest in both interior and Soviet-style service, the waiting time is very acceptable!
The prices are very reasonable and very attractive..
To visit the institution is definitely!
Unusual flavor, atmosphere, cuisine👍👍👍🇰🇿
There is a cafe on the ground floor and a restaurant on the second floor. A famous place that is famous for its tapaka chickens, or, as they say now, tabaka. Tapaka chicken has been cooked since 1964, this specialty is worth a try, with a delicious sauce. A must-visit. If you write "corner" in yandex go, then one of the first things that will come out will be "corner, chicken tobacco. This speaks for itself.
The most atmospheric place in Tashkent. An unambiguous recommendation to visit. I have seen many places stylized as Soviet catering, but no one has achieved such authenticity even close.
In the menu, which does not exist, there is one dish- a piece of Tobacco, which has never been smoked at all, but is very tasty. Textured waitresses - they will not bring you anything, in a "queue" (in the sense of a small friendly crowd, which is usually used in Uzbekistan instead of a queue) at the checkout for food and at the bar you will have to stand by yourself - they scurry around a seemingly always full Corner with a businesslike air. The casting is divine.
There are 2 floors here - choose the first one: they smoke here, there are always a lot of people, it's noisy and vodka is brought in faceted glasses. and so it has been for 60 years… Without all this, the Corner is just a good grilled chicken.
First of all, thanks for the almost unchanged atmosphere of this place. Even the dishes are the same ......
Very tasty chickens! The staff is polite and courteous. Well done!
It is here that the legendary tobacco chickens are cooked. But this recipe is different from the Georgian one, the meat is very juicy! And tomato sauce and fresh bread add a heavenly delight. The crunchy crust of chicken and the cream soaked in sauce - an indescribable taste!
This is a legendary place and therefore a must-visit for the guests of the capital. There is no menu ... and it is not necessary)) They serve chicken here!!!! And it's very tasty!
Of the disadvantages, there is no non-smoking room, one is shared, and therefore your neighbor may suddenly take a cigarette 🤦🏻
It's a very good place, the food is delicious. The waitresses greet the girls warmly. Tobacco chicken is delicious, I advise you. I'm talking about the Corner that's downstairs. The restaurant is also good
The place is good. But not a family one…
Often in the evenings, and in general there are many people who drink and the hall is shared with smokers.
There are speakers and a dance area.
Kitchen 7/10
The staff is good.
The atmosphere is an old institution in the style of the 00s
Every guest of Tashkent should definitely visit this establishment, delicious food, fast service, always a lot of people, the atmosphere of the Soviet Union
A good cafe. One of the oldest and most beloved cafes in our city. They cook well . Delicious salads and a signature dish - tobacco chickens. I recommend.
