There is no air conditioning in the security area, and this is an international airport. While we were standing in line, we almost died from the heat. The water was taken away as usual, and then in the waiting room I had to buy 0.5 bottles for 700 tenge. What a marketing ploy!!!! There are no words for a super service. It is a shame that such a commercial organization is called international
The airport is at a good level. But it is confusing: 1) the lack of clear information on the screen about departure and arrival. I have to get the reference book. 2) The check-in desk is open alone for a large flight. Near the entrance to the inspection (1). A crowd of people, it is very inconvenient and not comfortable. Check-in for another flight starts nearby and it just becomes unbearable 3) Security area # 2 is also very small. Toluchka. In short, it's not comfortable.
It is very small and not roomy, especially when there are more than one flight nearby, And two, people are almost sitting on top of each other, and there is not much place to stand...
A regular regional airport, with 5-10 flights per day. There are no landing guides, the plane is served directly to the terminal and passengers walk 50 meters to the plane - a highlight, you rarely see this!
Electronic boarding passes are not scanned, they are asked to print them at the check-in desk.
There are several city bus routes to the airport - the cost is 90 tenge, you can pay with QR code.
I liked the airport.
Cafes have opened in the waiting room, the renovation has not yet finished in the building, but I think the airport is not very bad for a small city, the restrooms are clean, there are a lot of check-in desks
Native, convenient... the airport in Ust Kamenogorsk. Polite staff, helpful. I fly very often, the airport has become almost my home)))) there are no complaints about them))
Airport employees treat passengers' luggage badly. They allow themselves to throw it. After the renovation, it is not clear that there are places on the second floor where you can sit.
There is poor ventilation in the waiting room. Passengers do not have enough air, it is stuffy. By the time two sides are waiting - generally atas!!!
Otherwise, a pleasant impression.
The airport does not look very good, to put it mildly. Inside, everything is like in a "barn". The only thing I liked there was the staff, they helped, they prompted.
We flew from Novosibirsk to Uka and back, there are no signs, there is nowhere to have a snack and have a good rest before departure. In general, it is very weak on the international level.
A good average airport in Kazakhstan. Good destinations for departure both within the country and in the Russian Federation. The internal infrastructure is poorly developed, especially in storage devices. Solid 4!
A small and cozy airport))
Do not take water or drinks in your hand luggage-experienced customs officers, in the absence of a counter-gang, are taking special care to remove water-containing products😀😀
Everything is fine. Good access and Parking. From the arrival hall within walking distance. Clear. The staff is friendly and courteous. I liked everything.
The airport is outdated. But the processes are moving fast. The staff is polite. And from the waiting room (glass wall) there is a magnificent view of the runway and the mountains beyond it. A plane landing on the background of mountains is beautiful!
Funny airport. We walked to the plane. Customs officers are furious, they were not allowed to bring honey from their own apiary in their luggage, and the honey was with documents. And the fishing rod was not allowed to be taken away, although it is sports equipment.
Great airport. The good old, favorite place.I remember being here as a child.Since then, a lot has changed, and for the better. It has become more modern, more convenient.
A very unfriendly atmosphere, starting with the janitors, baggage collection and inspection - employees are trying to assert themselves and show their superiority. In Almaty, despite the congestion of the airport, this is not the case for some reason. This attitude is especially felt by foreigners who find out that liquid, homemade products, honey, etc. cannot be put in LUGGAGE. As a result, the last impression of the city is negative.
It says that there is Wi-Fi, in fact there is none, you can't even connect through a local number to call a taxi.
It looks like a train station..

a small airport, there are free parking places, it is very difficult to get to the toilet, since there is one cabin in both the women's and men's, in the morning there was no opportunity to drink coffee or water before the flight, since the catering establishment is closed.
The airport is a favorite place of any city. Clean, tidy, what else can you expect from an air harbor. I didn't go to the cafe, I don't know the prices. The toilet is clean, cleaned regularly. The staff is normal, I can't say anything bad.
Everything seems to be fine, but all the chairs in the hall have been removed, and the departing and mourners have to wait for registration standing up.
It's not bad for a regional airport. Cleanliness, friendly staff, there are no problems with Parking. There is a convenient public transport stop on the territory of the airport complex and you can get to the city. There are some questions about logistics on arrival/departure. But this is more of a quibble.
Well, norm, they built a new one a few years ago, why they still use the old one is not clear. A big omission and even a problem is that there is no water to drink in the departure area, there are empty vending machines, even if they put a cooler on, because sometimes you sit for more than an hour and a half.

A very small airport. There is nothing in the departure area except toilets and a small coffee shop. The staff is very polite and pleasant, but unfortunately, you can't buy souvenirs
This is the first time I've been to such a small airport. I gave it 5 stars because it is clean,
to walk to / from the plane:-) it's very cool, you don't wait for the bus and all that.
Everything is as it should be. The airport yard is cleared of snow. Everything is neat and clean. A good airport, but not the best. In order to fly away, it's great.
The airport, like many others, is neither better nor worse. There is no departure board. Otherwise, everything is there. Shops, cafes and a huge parking lot
A high-security airport. The only airport in the republic where I inspect the instrument in my luggage. The staff is polite and courteous. A great cozy, almost homely airport =)
hello, there are no terminals at the airport, so that if you print your boarding pass yourself without luggage, it is not very convenient to stand in long queues and wait inside there is no place where you can charge phones not without a wired one, not stoics with cords and there is no cafe where you can eat and coffee shops only oparates
The departure area for international departures after the SUB and airport border control is very small. There don't seem to be enough chairs.
There is no business lounge in this area.
+ clean, neat
+ transport accessibility, city buses run
+ beautiful facade
- cramped arrival hall
- two toilets (MJ - you will have to wait in line to go to the bathroom)
- cramped waiting room
Back to the past.
The building is not designed for a large number of people.
There is only one shop on the square in front of the airport and that is for smokers.
If the flight is delayed, it is almost impossible to find a place to sit down.
But the cafe-bar located under the stairs kills the most.
There is no more than half of the menu, plus the rudeness of the administrator discourages appetite at once.
Honestly, it's the best airport I've ever been to. After passing the inspection, water can only be bought at the vending machine and only for cash, there is no smoking area, it is incredibly cold in the waiting room
I didn't like it at all. There are no cafes, no shops. Asya registration takes place 5 meters from the front door. The staff is specific and tries to earn money from you and negotiate for money right on the spot, the main thing is to hint at the time. They open the luggage and do not allow it to be packed again, but this is if you do not agree on the spot for money. A baggage packer, wrapped 4 suitcases for 40 minutes, was in no hurry.
Compared to other airports in the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is quite small! It's nice that it's clean both at the airport itself and in front of it. I personally liked it!
It would be good if the administration of Ust-Kamenogorsk airport would pay attention to three important problems of the arrivals area:
1. Unsafe doors leading from the runway to the building. The doors open in both directions, and if the passenger in front pushes them in front of him, then the one behind risks getting a powerful blow with a heavy enough door if he does not put his hand on time. I have repeatedly witnessed this, and a couple of times I almost caught a flying faith myself;
2. Men's room! The men's toilet in the arrivals area is the crown of engineering thought of all people involved in its design, coordination, installation and commissioning. So you need to try to make a stall and a urinal, because if a person enters the stall, and another person approaches the urinal, then it will be impossible to get out of the stall without pushing the door standing at the urinal, sorry for the details. Conversely, if there is a person standing at the urinal, then it will be impossible to get into the stall. Both laughter and sin;
3. Baggage with a priority tag at all airports is loaded last, so that it is unloaded separately at the arrival airport, and put on the tape first. At the airport of Ust-Kamenogorsk, he is unloaded first and simply put into a common cart, throwing the rest of his luggage. As a result, priority baggage gets to the tape at the very last turn.
