Perhaps this is the best place in the city if you want to have a hearty and delicious meal)
All the dishes are beautifully prepared and beautifully served. There's a huge selection of practically homemade food on the menu (not your burgers and fries). It will go with tinctures, vodka, and even beer.
Very tasty desserts.
The prices are reasonable, despite the location.
The beer could be better, but for this price it's enough!
A small caveat: it would be good to ask before ordering (or when paying), a shared invoice or a separate one. Sometimes it's important.
And also, if possible, add regular black bread or some rolls to the menu (not everyone likes Borodinsky)
A great family cafe with delicious national cuisine and a pleasant atmosphere.
The staff is polite and helpful, they serve very quickly and correctly.
There were no questions about the kitchen more than once during the whole week, which we went to Cornflowers every day.
The menu is very diverse, you want to try a lot, traditional Belarusian cuisine, everything is delicious. Served with fervor from the heat.
Be surprised by the Soviet musical accompaniment.
The price tag is quite democratic.
I recommend it!
The Vasilki restaurant is a wonderful place where you can enjoy the atmosphere of comfort and home warmth. The interior is decorated in a traditional style, which creates a sense of real Russian hospitality.
The restaurant's menu is varied and offers a wide range of dishes, both classic Russian cuisine and original interpretations. I especially liked the dumplings and borscht — they were cooked with soul and pleased with the rich taste. It is also worth noting the attentive service: the waiters are always ready to help with the selection and tell you about the dishes.
Prices in Cornflowers are quite adequate, given the quality of the food and the level of service. This is a great place for a family dinner or a meeting with friends. I will definitely come back here again!
This cafe is the first, bright, tasty and very kind impression of the city of Minsk. We came across this cozy place from the morning train and were shocked by the balanced breakfasts, the beautiful homely atmosphere, and the smiling young waiters. And there is everything a traveler needs! I really liked the cafe, but in the evening, on the way back, I couldn't get into it - there were no empty seats, although the cafe halls are quite spacious. Apparently, we weren't the only ones who appreciated this pleasant place. We will definitely visit Cornflower on our next visit to Minsk.
The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant are pleasant. The menu is extensive, the cuisine is clear and familiar. A large selection of pancakes, salads, dumplings, dumplings and meat dishes. The waiters are friendly and know the menu well. The food and drinks are served quickly. I ordered a warm salad with chicken and Kiev-style cutlets. It's very tasty, especially the salad!
The establishment also has blankets in case you get cold. For me personally, the temperature was comfortable. I really want to come back here again!
IT'S A GREAT PLACE WITH A GREAT LOCATION, I'VE BEEN THERE MORE THAN ONCE AND I'VE ALWAYS BEEN VERY SATISFIED. THE ROOMS ARE ALWAYS CLEAN, NICE, TIDY, AND HAVE A COMFORTABLE ATMOSPHERE. THE STAFF IS VERY POLITE, ATTENTIVE AND ENDEARING.THE DISHES ARE ALWAYS PREPARED WITH FRESH AND HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCTS.EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS VERY TASTY, BEAUTIFUL AND MOUTH-WATERING SERVING.! WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
An ideal family cafe chain in Minsk.
Price-quality - fire ratio! There are many dishes of national cuisine. Almost everything is very tasty. And we've tried a lot of dishes! The portions are decent. The menu is varied. The waiters are friendly and competent. My husband, 2 children, and I have been to other establishments in the city, but I loved this one the most! I sincerely recommend it to everyone!
Dear Catherine,
Today I want to express my sincere gratitude to you, the real star of our beloved Cornflowers coffee shop! Your professionalism, smile and caring attitude make every visit unforgettable. Thanks to your attention and kindness, every guest feels cozy and comfortable.
You skillfully create an atmosphere of warmth and homely comfort, turn an ordinary lunch break into a small celebration. I would like to say a huge thank you for your patience, attentiveness and ability to make our stay pleasant!
May there be more joyful moments, inspiration and vivid emotions in your life. We wish you and your loved ones success, happiness and well-being!
Thank you for your hard work and attention! You make our lives tastier and brighter! 🌼
What can I say, friends, "Cornflowers" is the calling card of the national Belarusian cuisine. Delicious. Nicely. Acceptable. The well-trained staff of the institution, well-created atmosphere, good music.
The only thing that I would like to be done at the modern level is to call the waiters via a radio button. So that you no longer have to look out / wave your hands / or get up-approach them on your own. And it will be quite a fairy tale!
Cornflowers were pleased with the warmth, comfort, bright atmosphere, pleasant Belarusian music and attentive waiters.
I liked the "Yuletide" pancakes, a large portion of salad with mozzarella and dried tomatoes (very tasty!), a light cherry pie did not burden an already well-filled stomach, rich and warming Red mulled wine (with red wine), and green tea.
For all 57 Belarusian rubles. I consider the price reasonable. Everything is delicious and there is no heaviness after a hearty lunch)) Thank you, you made me happy!
It's been a long time since I've been looking for a restaurant where dishes are prepared from the heart — exactly the way I remember the taste of childhood! And so I found a cozy place called "Cornflowers". 🌼
The interior is pleasant and the staff is friendly.
As for the kitchen... There's a fairy tale here! Belarusians can cook well, heartily and without unnecessary burden. Not a drop of oil is superfluous — everything is balanced and understandable even to tourists!
The food is fresh and the portions are large (just for those who like to eat a hearty meal). I was especially pleased with the variety of salads
And yes, the best part is that the pricing policy is pleasant, and the wallet doesn't suffer at all after visiting Cornflower!
I definitely recommend visiting, especially if you want to feel the atmosphere of a real Belarusian village and taste real cuisine without a gastronomic shock. 👍👏
As a guest of the capital, I think this is an excellent restaurant. Delicious! Fast and sincere! Cappuccino is hot!)) The tinctures are very tasty!! I wanted to take my friends with me and treat them at home, but it turns out you can't take them out (((. Otherwise, everything is great! The world's most delicious cabbage soup with cranberries!!! I'm not a fan of cabbage soup at all, but THESE! Something! Bravo to the cook! At least for their sake, I want to return to Minsk)))
Delicious dishes, beautifully served. The interior is in the Belarusian folk style. Cozy halls on the lower level, where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Conveniently, there is parking nearby. On Sunday, before 12, I managed to park right next to the establishment. I recommend it to the guests of the city and the country as a fairly budget, but tasty and cozy place.
A good place to enjoy Belarusian cuisine. Borscht, draniki and cocoa were tested.
Positive:
1. Delicious food and drinks. The borscht was very good, the pancakes and cocoa did not disappoint either. For its price, great.
2. A large selection of Belarusian cuisine and alcohol.
3. Pleasant atmosphere. The decor and staff create the feeling of a real Belarusian tavern.
4. Spacious establishment. Even during peak hours, there is a high probability that you can find an empty table.
5. Good service. The waiter was tactful and polite.
Minuses:
1. Waiting for some dishes. Borscht and cocoa were brought almost immediately, but the pancakes had to wait quite a long time (about 20-25 minutes). Other visitors also faced such a problem, there were several tired waiting glances.
2. Input delay. The administrator had to wait about 5 minutes, which caused a queue to form. It would be better if someone from the staff could come on as a substitute at such moments.
At the moment, "Vasilki" also leave a positive impression.
I recommend you to visit.
The atmosphere is amazing. We visited several locations, everything is cozy, authentic, delicious and excellent service. You can't try everything, but everything you've tried is amazing! Be sure to drop by, don't be afraid of queues - they fly by instantly, but they identify the amazing popularity of Cornflowers among tourists and locals.
The place is great, I really liked it! We were at Independence 16. A large selection of traditional cuisine, from snacks to drinks, all the dishes are very tasty, a wide variety, beautiful presentation, and matches the price and quality. The staff is very friendly, the waiters are polite and attentive to the guests, ready to help with the choice. I especially liked the homely atmosphere and the traditional interior. I highly recommend you to visit! Thanks!
Great restaurant! We came to lunch three times and always left satisfied, well-fed and tipsy!
Excellent service by polite very young guys and girls. The constant queue at the entrance is moving very actively and takes up to 10 minutes maximum waiting time. Cozy interior, comfortable furniture.
All kinds of draniki are delicious. Borscht and cabbage soup are excellent and rich. The bacon is gorgeous, and the pickles are interesting. The zepellins were also highly appreciated by us, as were the sausages with stewed cabbage. A very unusual recipe for kvass. Something between a braga and a dark beer is a very amateur drink.
Morse, however, was quite good.
On Sunday, judging by the number of people with suitcases, many, like us, stopped by the path for a good drink and snack, which only confirms the high quality of these Cornflowers. For such a high-quality meal and portion size, the prices are very modest, even with alcohol, the final bill turned out to be quite small.
Maximum recommendation!
A wonderful place like all the other restaurants of the chain, a pleasant atmosphere, a national menu, very tasty dishes, and especially desserts.
BUT there are also minor disadvantages, tables are not booked, it is not clear why, and there is almost always a queue at the entrance, because the rooms are not large, and there are probably a lot of people who want to.
In general, being in Minsk is a must-visit!!!
One of the advantages is that the place is quite atmospheric and inexpensive. Polite waiters and fast enough service, generally delicious food.
One of the disadvantages is a completely incomprehensible system at the entrance, where you have to wait until the hostess takes you to a table chosen by her for some unknown reason, but you can't sit anywhere yourself. We were at 70-80% load, there were frankly empty tables (and without any reservation signs), but we had to wait for 10 minutes and they put us in the aisle.
Another disadvantage is the portion size, they are, let's say, not huge. But this is offset by low prices.
It's a beautiful place! Wonderful cuisine! Great guys, the waiters. I would especially like to mention the guys Timofey and Yana. They answered calmly, served smartly, and advised delicious food. We will recommend this wonderful place to everyone. The best restaurant of all that we managed to visit when visiting a beautiful country. Good luck, success, and positive visitors. Hooray, guys!!!
I will say that it is a pleasant atmospheric place in a national style and traditional cuisine. The pitch is beautiful. They serve quickly, everything is clear. I didn't try everything, but what I took was delicious. The drinks are decent, I can't say about alcohol, I don't drink, but the neighbors were happy to order. The only thing is that the flow of tourists is such that there is a queue of 5-10 people at the entrance and waiting for an empty table. I think it's better to book a table in advance. We were lucky, there were places on a weekday afternoon, but it was tight. The staff is polite, but seems a little tired. I highly recommend you to visit!
A great place to have a good and inexpensive meal. Everything is very tasty, the most delicate pancakes with sponge, soup with wild mushrooms, dumplings... Fast service, interesting interior and musical accompaniment - Belarusian flavor and love at first sight.
A must-visit in Minsk!
We've been to several restaurants- this one has never failed.
A lot has already been written about this institution. A wonderful network, delicious food, served by cute girls and boys in beautiful national clothes. I noticed for myself - fast service and serving of dishes (even when fully seated), all the dishes are beautifully decorated and very tasty. We stopped by for lunch and breakfast.
But it is not always possible to sit down right away, since the center is crowded, and the institution is in high demand, it is possible to observe the queue at the entrance.
A great place with lots of seats and a national flavor. I really like machanka with pancakes (a traditional Belarusian dish) here - although the recipe has been changed a bit lately. I give 5 points to this particular restaurant for the atmosphere, speed and quality of serving dishes. In general, the Cornflowers chain would put 4/4- because in a number of establishments there are questions about the service (indecently long waiting for dishes; they may not bring your order or make a mistake with the order as a whole, etc.)
For me, cornflowers are a place where you should definitely go for national dishes when you come to Minsk. Very tasty, a large selection of dishes, reasonable prices. There are often queues at the entrance, but somehow we were lucky to get in quickly. The waiting time, as in any popular place, is not 5 minutes, but not an hour either. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff.
Perhaps the best restaurant in Minsk that we have visited. Firstly, it is quite large and has a summer veranda, secondly, the food is delicious and of high quality, and thirdly, the service is better than in others. However, the typical Belarusian problem of visitors remains: there is often shouting and hubbub, disregard for those sitting next to them. The only exception is Russian tourists, they behave appropriately. There are quite a lot of visitors with young children, which also raises questions.
Excellent location in the very center. We rented an apartment nearby, it was very convenient.
The dishes on the menu are all hearty, there are many national dishes. Salads, snacks, local beer, cocktails. But keep in mind that a variety of pancakes, dumplings in hot pans are quite fatty. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and a summer terrace is open in the warmer months.
On the downside, there were long queues in the summer to wait for free tables, the place is very popular with tourists. At the same time, the service itself is quite fast.
We visit Minsk regularly and always try to have dinner in Cornflowers) Thank you for your work and the atmosphere.
You can have a delicious meal, both breakfasts and lunches, as well as dinner with a group of friends! Especially cabbage soup with baby!!! The place is very popular among tourists, so sometimes you have to stand in line to sit down at the table. This is not a restaurant with a designer style of decoration, but rather a cozy catering (there are many tables that stand close to each other and the aisles are very narrow). The waiters are very polite, serving dishes within 15-20 minutes.
I visited this restaurant several times during the trip — each visit left only pleasant impressions! Very tasty shingles with mushrooms are one of the best dishes that I have tried in Belarus. The tinctures are homemade, you can feel the strength, but the taste is excellent. I especially liked horseradish tincture and cranberry — bright, saturated.
The place is popular, so the queue was long — we waited for a table for about 40 minutes. But the hot stuff was cooked faster than the promised time — in just 40 minutes instead of an hour. I would like to mention the service separately: everything is very polite, fast and with attention to detail. I'll definitely come back here if I'm in town again!
Cornflowers are a great place to explore the local cuisine. The restaurant is cozy, the staff is friendly, the dishes are very tasty. The queues outside at this restaurant speak for themselves. The child ordered Grandmother's mushroom soup every time we came here. Draniki, dumplings, dumplings, everything is fine. For a fairly average price tag, you get delicious, hearty meals, a cozy atmosphere and pleasant memories. A must-visit!
A must-visit!!! Perhaps the best institution of national cuisine in terms of price-quality-assortment ratio! And the tinctures here seemed to us the most delicious - there is only a choice of 6 names, but it's worth trying each one, and everyone will find "their own"!
We have been to this particular cafe twice (8-10 times online in different cities) - everything is very tasty everywhere (plus or minus), it is better to book a table in advance (especially for the evening), but no later than a day before the visit. In this institution, the service is at a very high level (unlike Grodno, where dirty dishes were not removed from the tables for hours - apparently there is not enough staff). The interior is different - in some establishments it is modern, in some it has a national flavor. Both are here (on different floors). We really liked the assorted dumplings, potato grandmother, ribs (the knuckle was a little greasy, and the ribs were super!), from desserts, the leaves are good (apple filling without a single "membrane-bone)!!!
We will definitely come back, thank you.
I really liked the restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, the staff is polite and attentive. The food is delicious, fresh and beautifully served. I especially liked the signature dishes. We were served quickly, the prices were adequate. A great place to eat delicious food and have a good time. I recommend it!
I have loved this place for many years, we always come here when we come to Minsk. It's consistently good here, the menu, the dishes, the service. But it's been the same story all these years: you have to wait in line for 15 to 30 minutes, and there are always empty tables inside. It is possible, of course, that they are booked, but there are no plates from the reservation. The feeling that the waiters are either not in a hurry or are unable to cope because there are few of them.
A very nice and delicious place!
The food is at the highest level🍽️
The knuckle is divine, big, satisfying, I recommend it to everyone. Also, the national dish is draniki with a sponge🤌🏼👍🏼
The pleasant beautiful interior, the music immerses in the atmosphere, the staff is friendly.
The place is popular, on the evening of the weekend I had to wait a little in line.
It's a good restaurant. Delicious dishes of Belarusian cuisine. Friendly staff.
Of the cons: there is a large flow of people who want to visit this institution. Often, the queue ends on the street, while there are empty but unmade tables in the restaurant. The staff says that there are no places. Long serving of dishes, which is immediately warned. During our visit, the couple at the next table did not wait for the ordered dishes and left. The dishes were brought to them in 2 minutes, when they were already gone.
If you want to get to breakfast, come early. We were lucky and were able to get a table at 9 a.m. After 10-15 minutes, a queue began to form, which grew by the minute.
It is a very advertised place, everyone knows and recommends it. I liked: a variety of dishes, convenient location, pleasant atmosphere inside, music, dishes, interiors. I didn't like it: the staff is acting strangely and not very well coordinated. At first, we were strictly warned that we would have to wait in line for 20 minutes, but in the end, after 5 minutes, we were already escorted to the table. The girl wiped the table in front of us and did not do it very well, I got dirty with cream that was left on the table from previous guests, they did not take the order for a long time, moreover, the waiters did not seem to be busy. The dishes themselves, admittedly, are very tasty.
A good chain restaurant "Vasilki", which will present a rich variety of dishes of Belarusian cuisine. The food is delicious and the price is not expensive.
The service at this point is good, the staff is friendly, if necessary, they will help with advice. The dishes arrived quickly.
The location is very convenient, it is located in the center, where you can take a walk after a hearty lunch or dinner.
Vasilki is the best restaurant of Belarusian cuisine! It's hard to single out the best dish - everything is delicious and at affordable prices. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff! I advise everyone to visit this place in the very center of Minsk. And I'll come here more than once.
Excellent, atmospheric, cozy cafe!!! We came to Minsk for the holidays, had breakfast there every day, and the food was sooo delicious!!!! The main menu is gorgeous, varied, the portions are large, the serving is 30 minutes somewhere. The staff is friendly and courteous! I recommend this cafe to everyone, you will be satisfied!!!!
When you want draniki, delicious and satisfying food, and a pleasant atmosphere, the first place that comes to mind is Cornflowers. So today, all my expectations were fulfilled.I was particularly impressed with the service of the waiter Egor Skugarev.Attentive, helpful, and quick. He had a great taste in appetizers, offered dessert and recommended liqueurs.May God grant him good health and generous tips! And the administration should appreciate such staff and encourage them in every possible way! Prosperity to your restaurant!
The atmosphere is pleasant, as if it were national... There are a lot of people, the price tag is average. They bring it quickly. Draniki are delicious. Sauerkraut soup with a hangover, generally super! The national cuisine is right on top. But the caesar was served - so-so, the chicken is dry, the cheese does not look like parmesan, the salad is fresh, but as if it was chopped with an axe, in the center there is a slap of sauce (obviously with mayonnaise). In short, the national cuisine is good, Caesar is on 3.
Excellent and atmospheric cafe with national cuisine. Everything is very tasty for a reasonable price. Special thanks to the waiters and the kitchen, they are polite and pleasant in communication, they serve quickly, they bring drinks and food. It is located in the very center of the city. I recommend it!
