I can safely and with confidence say that it is worth coming to Minsk even to eat at the Cornflowers! By and large, there is no more high-quality and delicious food of this format in Minsk, so there is always a small queue at the entrance. But the service is excellent! And the quality and taste of the dishes will not leave anyone indifferent... What Draniki... And cabbage soup with a rib... And the seemingly elementary fried dumplings... What I remember and what I noticed: all dishes have a very natural, unobtrusive taste. The taste of the dishes themselves is felt, the art of the cook is felt, not the flavoring additives. This is really a high cuisine, and a place with a soul! I recommend it responsibly!

We visited the Cornflowers restaurant and were very satisfied! We tried many dishes, and they were all very tasty, especially the tincture. The service was fast and professional. The restaurant is spacious, which is very convenient for large companies. The only drawback is the large number of people, which creates a constant queue at the entrance to the restaurant.

The interior is cozy and warm, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers dishes of Belarusian and European cuisine. I would especially like to mention the dumplings - the dough is thin and tender, and the filling is juicy and fragrant. The service is at a high level, the waiters are polite and attentive. A hostess greets you at the entrance. The dishes were shaken beautifully and promptly. And most importantly, everything was delicious. We ordered cabbage soup, pancakes with goulash and a couple of cocktails. The place itself is cozy, there is a veranda. There are a lot of seats, but there were 10% free seats! And at the same time, the service and the kitchen are doing great. By the way, special praise to the waiter David.

I want to tell you not only about this particular restaurant, but about the entire chain, as I have been to Mozyr, Gomel, Mogilev, Grodno, Minsk. The most popular restaurant chain in the Republic of Belarus, always a large attendance. The menu is the same in all cities, the national theme of the interior, decorations, music and staff clothing are similar. Minuses: 1. the toilets are not cleanly cleaned and there is a smell, 2. under the recreation areas (tables, sofas and chairs) are not cleanly cleaned, and the furniture itself is quite worn, the sofas are greasy, the menu is shabby. A company of 5 people. Guests from Moscow. An order for dishes with a high price. A glitch between the kitchen and the waiter. The waiter brought the food cold, warm, not hot. The taste effects are reduced.
The photo shows a steak. A piece of unsalted meat, a piece of salted butter with garlic and dill, vegetables. The butter melted on the plate, the meat did not melt, the meat is warm. Why go to a restaurant for pleasure, you can just roast meat yourself, and then a restaurant for money. In general, they broke off the whole buzz. With meat and pancakes, soups too.
One more moment. We didn't have time to pick up the plates, there's not enough space. There is a counter next to it, artificial flowers on the sides, empty in the center, we have four plates on the table. I put it on the counter so the waiter could see it and pick it up on the way. But. The girl behind the bar and the waiter from the hall saw the dishes, at first they condemned for three minutes, looked around, mumbled something. Then, with condemnation, pretension and very pompously, rolling her eyes, she grabbed the plates. We've all seen it. All 4 who are facing her told me. They smiled.
Conclusion. No one left a tip, although we are used to leaving at least 10%. The serving process needs to be monitored, ask how it is served when ordering and control the waiter. Our waiter, a boy, asked of course if he liked it. Everyone answered honestly, not really. And it's a pity.

Not a cheap national food chain, we came because we were advised as a good place. And now what I saw: there is a huge queue at the entrance - 1 star. The interior is interesting and it was cozy + 1 star. When accepting the order, there was not what they wanted - 1 star. We accepted the order, waited 40 minutes, but were warned about it. They brought hot dumplings with potatoes + 1 star, they also brought room temperature sausages with cold potatoes and the same cold stewed cabbage - 1 star, we won't go any more, one disorder.

It's a much-vaunted place) the food is quite heavy and expensive, and the decor does not differ in national flavor. Having traveled half the country, I can compare the House by the Lake in Brest and Bulbyanaya in Vitebsk with the restaurant. The food is tastier there and the national atmosphere is deeper.
You need to come to Cornflowers very hungry and ready for big, heavy dishes.
We only took pancakes and snacks, but there were a lot of them.
The staff is nice and the waiting was very fast.

It's a bit of a pity that on weekends, when a lot of people don't have a bistro, they don't really work out - waiting up to half an hour. But the politeness of the staff and especially Gosha (he introduced himself that way) brightens up the longing. In general, considering that there are no particular competitors either in Minsk or in Vitebsk...(well, two times and that's it), then I'll even put 5. As they say, "having no better." The cuisine is delicious, of course, national dishes, magnificent pancakes with machanka, delicious soups and salads, good desserts, nice homemade wine and fruit drinks, a children's menu with a variety of choices, a really good place to explore the national cuisine!
But the fast-moving queue outside the establishment turns into a tedious wait for everything after landing at the table, the drinks were brought to us after half the dishes, and not all of them, and some of them were delivered after several reminders before the bill was requested. I came to Minsk for 3 days. I looked on the Internet, where decent draniki, Cornflowers were found. I was so thrilled that I went here for dinner all 3 times. On a weekday, by the way, after my arrival, there was a full landing - the institution is in great demand. I tried pancakes with mushrooms (wonderful!), with goulash, cold soup (great!), layered salad and herring under a fur coat. Everything is delicious, everything is fast, I'm just glad. Washed down with beer, there are plenty to choose from - unfiltered, lager, dark. Wonderful tinctures - I ordered a sample set, very cool and inexpensive. The service is excellent, many tables have sockets. I will definitely come back here. Thank you.

I discovered Cornflowers for myself in the year 21-22 in Mogilev. It was insanely delicious and a lot!! Then we visited Cornflowers more than once" - and everything was at the same good level.
Once in Vitebsk (22 years) we also decided to go to "Cornflowers" (why look for something if there is a proven one). But here we were disappointed. Portions, of course, as in Mogilev- large, but not particularly tasty. Well, you never know, it happens. We stopped by after a while again-- but no, stability is a sign of skill:(.
Well, Minsk. Because most of the time we walk in the Nemiga area, then we got to the Cornflowers on Nemiga in the Gallery shopping center. Everything was cool, just like in Mogilev. Yes, there is a small queue, but it passes quickly. But in the year 23, portions have "lost weight" and noticeably, and this cannot but be frustrating. Moreover, not only we noticed this, but also several other acquaintances. Of course, we do not have an alternative today, but there is a desire to look for it.
It should be noted that all three restaurants were clean, cozy and friendly staff.

The waiter poured a whole plate of borscht over the child. Neatly, evenly sliced slices of beetroot and cabbage, a wonderful rib, sour cream, and half a liter of slurry were clearly located on the turtleneck, trousers, socks, shoes, and, as it turned out, the T-shirt and underpants of a young man who visited the capital of the fraternal republic for the first time for 1 day. A 2-km sprint for a change of clothes and we're back at the table. The sight of the unfortunate child sitting on a chair in his underwear was depressing. The administrator still hasn't come out - it's probably a common thing here. I won't say anything about the food - I ate cold soup and some potatoes. The cherry on the cake was the dessert offer on the house. No thanks. They paid the bill and left. Gentlemen, a decent institution solves such issues in a different way.
