Nice spacious rooms, there is no heating, as in all of Abkhazia, so it is not very comfortable in winter, but I recommend it for summer, the embankment is a 5-minute walk away, near the market, a large terrace, an interesting courtyard. Very friendly staff, ready to solve any problems.

We stayed at this hotel in April 2019 while traveling in Abkhazia. The rooms are comfortable, there is everything you need.At our request, a kettle was provided in the room.Cleaning was carried out every day (out of five).The main disadvantage of this hotel is the lack of Windows in the rooms.After all, living by the sea, you want to contemplate this beauty and breathe the sea air.The staff is very helpful and helpful.I wish you prosperity and peaceful skies.Thank you for your hospitality.

A good hotel. Cleaning every day. Everything you need is there. Transport runs near the gate trolleybus and minibuses stop on demand. There is a cafe on the roof. There is a playground. The parking lot is not large, but I have not seen it filled.

Hotel service?! No, you haven't heard!
I go into the room (Deluxe for a minute), and there are two mugs, towels, a bed and linen... This is normal, some may think, BUT!!! Personally, I think that in a large triple room there should be at least a couple of bottles of water, bathrobes in order to walk in the room after a shower and disposable slippers so as not to walk around the room barefoot. Well, in fact, it's nothing for you, but the guests are pleased. Where was the kettle with a couple of tea bags? two tea bags in the room will not make you bankrupt, but this is the usual standard, because the cafe closes at 11.
Speaking of cafes... Drive these cooks away with a filthy broom!!! I have never tasted such disgusting food anywhere and never! Olivier was dressed to the brim with mayonnaise and generously sprinkled with salt. the puree, on the contrary, is fresh and cooked on water (judging by the taste, it was still not the freshest), with buckwheat the same problems as with mashed potatoes. I ordered a cutlet... What's a cutlet for you? Right! This is a juicy piece of minced meat in soft breading, not this piece of burnt wood, which can injure someone if you run it. And this is on the first day... I didn't want to go to bed hungry after the flight to Sochi and the trip to Sukhum, so I asked to make at least potatoes in a uniform. And you know what? The Egyptian cook asked me, "How to cook it?". Well, it's nothing! I said that without frills, they say, just wrap it in foil and throw it into the coals... That's what they did to me. After that, I went to my company to somehow brighten up this evening with wine (which, by the way, turned out to be an ordinary Apsny wine, which can be bought in exactly the same container at any Pyaterochka). After about 20 minutes, the waitress comes up to me and says: "Can you tell me when the potatoes will be ready?" I asked, like, doesn't the cook know? To which they replied that the cook put the potatoes on and went home! (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I am ahu**** (surprised)!!! I made no further attempts to eat there, despite the fact that breakfast was included! It was beyond my strength... Every day I went to the cafe of the Calypso Hotel twice. I left a lot of money there for lunch this week, but I must admit that their cook is excellent! Thank her for feeding us the same way she did at home!
When I went up to the waiter a couple of days later and told him about it, warning him that Booking.com the hotel will be waiting for a not very unflattering review of the kitchen, they told me that to compensate for this misunderstanding they would give me one tour for a thousand "evergreen" rubles. Being a man born before the collapse of the Union of the Indestructible, I really like such proposals... And he agreed! And only then did I realize that I was a sucker (although it would seem)... the thing is that this tour did not take place, and the prepayment for it is 200 rubles, but I have 800 left on my hands. so I had these 800 instead of the tour, but I couldn't leave a review on the booking, because I was asked to inform the booking that I hadn't checked in there, allegedly, and that they canceled the reservation... What is the result? I was left with 800 rubles, the hotel did not pay the booking for me, because I allegedly did not live there, and the booking was left without a review, so there are only reviews that ALLEGEDLY at the vesna "PARADISE" hotel!!!! That's the situation.
The double bed that stood in the room was nothing more than single beds connected into one, so my wife, who likes to snuggle up to me at night, slipped into the gap between the beds at night because they were fucking moving apart!!! The double bed was moving, damn it!
Beach... There is no normal beach. What they advertise is that the beach is across the street, then it's just a beach of pebbles strewn with a good portion of garbage. It was my first time at sea, so for me it was supposed to be a revelation in the style of the movie "Reach the Heavens". However, what kind of romance are we talking about at all, sitting on rocks that dig into the buttocks, and the neighbors on the beach are an empty beer can and a used contraceptive!!! ROMANCE!!! I'm not talking about my indignation that some kind of tin can turned out to be in the water and tore my swimming trunks to hell when I accidentally caught on it. The only joy was that the swimming trunks were damaged, and not my adventure organ.
Guard... He looks like a good, adequate man. Until I woke him up at 2 a.m. trying to get in through the back gate. And I just decided to take a walk along the embankment at night and came home at 2 a.m. In order not to climb over the fence (I'm on duty), I called my comrades so that they would wake up the guard. The guard, clearly unhappy that he was prevented from sleeping, grumbling to himself, let out a phrase that "he had someone's mother." I am ahu*** (surprised)! But I did not inflate the scandal, I just politely asked him to be more lenient with mothers (well, almost).
Now the pros... There are not many of them! The only ray of sunshine in this realm of anarchic service is Lana. Tactful, well-groomed, beautiful, smiling... I met her and settled her. I'm talking about the hotel manager. The only person who made me feel positive from all the staff. The receptionists and waiters are really good, which I can't say about the chefs. A special cauldron (without salt) is prepared for them in hell.
I sincerely recommend that you look for other places to settle. Try to avoid this hotel.

The new cozy hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, not far from the industrial zone hotel. The city beach is a 10-minute walk away. The inconvenience is caused by the lack of sidewalks both in the city and on the beach. The hotel staff is responsive, which cannot be said from the cafe staff. Breakfast starts at 8:30, which is inconvenient. We have to wait for breakfast and waste time.

In 2017, at the end of August, we rested at this hotel. When we booked the hotel, there were no reviews, the reservation was made judging by the photo. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival, in reality the hotel is the same as in the photo.
There is nothing superfluous in the rooms, there is: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, cable, shower, toilet, wardrobe, bed, refrigerator, bar as I understand it is filled according to the guests, if a child comes into the room from the guests, it is filled with juices and waters, if there is no child, they can fill it with alcohol (bar is not included in the price). Rooms are cleaned according to schedule, while not interfering with vacationers.
The first 2 floors are rooms, everything is located so that each room has its own exit, this is a huge plus - there are no corridors. The 3rd floor is a dining and relaxation area with a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. The hotel also has its own kitchen and bar. The bar is open until 22-00, but after closing you can also continue to relax on the third floor. The hotel has its own guarded courtyard with parking spaces and a small playground for children. The staff is helpful, they understand that the guests have come to take a break from work.
But you have to understand, stay human and you will be treated like a human being, it's not only in this hotel, but throughout Abkhazia, don't mess around where you rest.
The sea is across the street, 50 meters away. The city embankment is 5 minutes away, there are entertainment for children, as well as cafes and restaurants, there is another exit on the back side of the hotel, if you go out and walk down the street, you can walk to the market, then to the city center.
This year we are going to this hotel again, this time we invited friends!
For complete happiness, there is not enough pool at the hotel)))
