The best theater in Minsk. A gorgeous poster every month. Colorful, meaningful productions. It's cozy inside and nice to walk in the park near the theater. Great fountain season opening ceremonies. I'm shooting a star for the attitude of some theater workers: some turned off the lights in the hall after the evening performance and drove away those who wanted to take a memorable photo, others drove people out of the wardrobe with the phrase "Let's hurry up. We are already closed." There was an unpleasant aftertaste.

We went to Carmen. The voices are strong and beautiful. There are no complaints about the place itself - everything is on top, very beautiful and cozy. Only the translation of the words was not visible, it was right under the stage, and the heads of those sitting in front were slightly covered. And so great, I liked it.

A magnificent theater! The first time I was in Minsk and the first visit to the theater and watching the ballet "Swan Lake". The theater itself impresses not only from the outside, but also inside with its space and ceiling height. The decoration is made of expensive materials, columns, chandeliers, sofas. Also in the hall of the theater there are expositions of costumes from performances that were staged in this theater. I liked the decoration of the auditorium itself, without any extra pretentiousness, everything is tasteful. Comfortable seats both in the porter and in the boxes. It will be very convenient for the audience to watch the performances from any place in the auditorium. The hall is made so that from the stage to the end of the hall, the seats are raised higher gradually, and not at the stage level, as in many theaters in Russia.

I visited this place in the fall of 2024. I listened to the opera The Barber of Sibyl, the opera was in Italian, with the credits, which in turn were in Russian. The theater itself is beautiful, as befits the main theater of the capital. Clean, marble columns, space and buffet. The prices in the buffet are reasonable, alcoholic beverages are slightly higher than usual, but it's not scary. The acting is wonderful. The disadvantage is that you have to look at the translation of the Italian opera, lowering your eyes down to the translation in the running line. It seems to me it would be more convenient to place this line on top, and the heads do not interfere and the neck does not get tired)))

The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in Minsk is a historical symbol and cultural wealth of the Republic of Belarus. Very tasty pizza. The balance of dough and filling is what you need, fresh fragrant pesto, lots of prosciutto. Friendly waiters. The place is popular, I couldn't get in on Thursday evening without booking. I returned in the daytime and did not regret it.
I didn't have enough comfort, but it's such a concept, simple and open.

You open a heavy door, step over the threshold and that's it - you're in another dimension) Marble stairs, chandeliers, scarlet velvet armchairs, all this light flair of music in the foyer, and a scene, a scene ... с каждым годом всё лучше и лучше. театр расположен в очень красивом месте в парке на берегу реки. уровень постановок опер неуклонно повышается: езжу сюда из москвы прицельно послушать :-) интерьер театра советский классический и это прекрасно — советские архитекторы и дизайнеры не стеснялись использовать лучшие наработки предшественников: в результате это очень стильное помещение, отделанное мрамором, деревом и тканью, что не только красиво, но и обеспечивает отличные акустические свойства. кто тут не бывал, тот зря живёт, короче

The theater itself is very beautiful, the vocalists sing beautifully. An incredible orchestra of strength. For a Muscovite, an opera for 500 rubles is just a gift from heaven!!! The next time I go to Minsk, I will book the opera in advance. Of the minuses, I can only note the absence of a Wi-Fi zone on the territory of the theater. I didn't have a local connection and, accordingly, the Internet, I had to look for the nearest cafe after the theater to call a taxi to the hotel. ))) But on the other hand, it's also good, a walk after the opera) In general, I advise everyone unequivocally!!!🔥🔥🔥🩷

The level of the dancers is average, the vocals have been very disappointing in places lately. And I really want a ballet NOT by Elizariev, I want a fresh approach, new ideas and solutions. I am glad that the program always includes, in addition to classics, Belarusian productions: for example, according to Korotkevich.

Посетили с дочкой оперу "Травиата". Сам театр потрясающий! Это одно из немногих зданий в Минске, которое сохранилось после войны, хотя город был практически полностью разрушен - немцы знали толк, и решили сохранить театр для себя. Внутри очень красиво и торжественно и при этом без излишней вычурности. Что касается постановки - нужно иметь очень хороший и тонкий вкус (и конечно смелость), чтобы классический сюжет переносить в современный мир. Здесь все было именно так - бережно, тактично, со вкусом. Ну а великая музыка Верди и вокальное мастерство артистов пробирает до мурашек, до слез! В конце действа весь зал апплодировал стоя!!! Удивило отсутствие толп и очередей (в гардероб, буфет, туалет 🤭), а также само расположение - немного в отдалении от больших улиц, в зелёной парковой зоне. И ещё, довольно раннее время начала и окончания действа - с 18:00 до 20:55 (хотя между действиями было 3 антракта!). Какое было правильное решение - взять заблаговременно билеты в этот театр (заказывала из Москвы, при планировании поездки)! И кстати цена за билет (1й ряд бельэтажа, середина - около 600 российских руб.), впрочем, как и цены в буфете просто удивительные! Эх, если бы в наш Большой билеты столько стоили, я бы оттуда не вылезала! 🤣

Приятный, заботливый и вежливый персонал. В театре чисто и аккуратно, обстановка на любителя, но зал хороший, с акустикой всё хорошо. Но звукоусиления нет, иногда создавалось впечатление, что с ним было бы лучше. Неудачно расположена строка для титров — внизу сцены, сидя в партере приходится заглядывать за головы впереди сидящих. Сверху было бы гораздо удобнее. Были на опере Кармен. Классическая постановка, не придраться, оркестр и исполнители высокого уровня
