A long wait after 9 p.m. The food is simple and not particularly tasty, a little bland. A frying pan with pork was brought with mushrooms from a jar, boiled potatoes and a cap with mayonnaise and Russian cheese. The pilaf is overcooked. The only thing is delicious trout and pita bread, which they bake themselves. Otherwise, I don't recommend it. Although, the service in Abkhazia as a whole is so-so, there is nothing surprising here. And the kitchen too. Sad :(

We rested for a week in New Athos in March 2023. We constantly went to eat at the cafe "Delicious like mom's." The cafe is great!!!! There is not a single minus. Cozy, tasty, clean, friendly and fast service. The prices are adequate, a varied menu, fast wi-fi and the ability to pay by card transfer. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

The place, in comparison with the overall level of service in Abkhazia, is good.
Breakfast is served, it's rare. At the end of February, in the morning, full boarding - all tourists - the place is "kosher". For your money, breakfast is normal - cheesecakes, scrambled eggs and porridge.
The place itself is cool, obviously, they save on electricity.
The staff is nice and polite. They fed us promptly.
Payment, of course, is only cash or transfer. No one is waiting here (in general in Abkhazia) for normal tourists who need a terminal).
We'll have breakfast 50/50 for the second time.

We visited this institution based on recommendations, good reviews and local advice. To be honest, it looks beautiful from the outside, so much money has been spent on the interior, but not with the quality of the food. There were both in 1 and 2 cafes: in 1 I ordered a kebab from the neck-they brought a kebab that was fried on the grill, 2 pieces just don't chew, so also the incised pieces-apparently the cook checked the readiness several times. In the 2nd I ordered a kebab-they brought small sausages in the form of sausages and on wooden skewers (well, it's just terrible), they also ordered a frying pan with pork-so there were 3 pieces of meat in it, the rest mushrooms and potatoes-well, what nonsense-you feed people. To be honest, I am very disappointed with such cuisine and quality. There are very very few local dishes, your guests want to try your local food, not pasta or pizza. I do not recommend this institution.

All week we were fed by the cafe "Delicious like mom's." Sometimes we went "to the left", but we always came back here. And the second half of the vacation is only here! All the dishes are very tasty, beautifully served and served. The menu is very diverse! Fast service. The waitresses are polite and nice, and by the end of the vacation they became family. The prices are the most affordable for this level. In March, the only cafe that was fed from early morning to evening, every day with a full menu. We definitely recommend it!

Very tasty! We didn't even expect it! I recommend layered khachapur, fried cheese. Chebureks and cheese sticks are beautiful and not at all greasy!!! Great place!
I'm removing one star, because they brought a bottle of wine, and it wasn't wine that was poured there, but not clear muddy water with some kind of fruity smell. Be careful!

The best cafe in New Athos, we've gone around everything - we're coming back here again. The 10-year-old daughter refuses to eat anywhere else at all. Princely khachapur, shish kebab, string bean pate with nuts, cakes, something made of beans like lobio, barabulka are our favorites. Homemade wine and local beer are also great. It's just magical

I went after reading reviews about how delicious and atmospheric it is there. When I arrived, I saw a diner by the road and five tables inside. Okay, I'm modest myself, I want it to be delicious. We ordered khinkali, because of them I went, dumplings for the child, my wife took dumplings with cheese, some fried cheese, salads and mahito. In general, the mahito was delicious, the child did not eat the dumplings, and I understood why, they are not in any way and the cartilage is crunchy. It's true, the purchased ones are tastier. Finally, khinkali was brought, half torn and collapsed, well, okay, the taste is worse, I finished it because I was afraid to leave it in principle. The dumplings with salads were passable but not tasty!!!! And after the daughters, the price tag is above average. Will I come back? Definitely not! Would I recommend it to my mother-in-law? Definitely yes!

We came to this place because there were great reviews! I really liked the dishes from these guys, I was already looking forward to trying something out..but we were full after lunch and decided to just enjoy an oriental coffee and order dessert. As a result, we sat down on the street, my husband came up immediately ordered two coffees and took the menu to choose something..as a result, we waited 15 minutes, my husband went to find out about coffee again, a girl passed by and served khinkali and coffee to others.. ignore us.. my husband came and said that they would supposedly bring it now, but those who were in Abkhazia know that coffee is prepared quickly in the Eastern way... we waited ANOTHER 15 minutes... and just left, no one raised their ass for our coffee and dessert..
My advice: guys, appreciate every guest! After all, you don't know what this guest can leave you for a coffee as a compliment.

We came as a family , ordered :
1) Chicken soup for the child , I immediately asked if there were greens , to which there was a positive answer , they said that it was possible to remove , I cleaned it myself , a piece of meat 1 for the entire plate measuring 2 * 4, one noodles and greens.
2. A hot frying pan with chicken , the fillet is undercooked , hard, the potatoes are hard , but in places very burnt, a mountain of mushrooms that I do not eat and the menu does not indicate that they are there , still a specific product, it is worth warning about , two thin slices of tomato , cheese and onion. In my understanding, a hot frying pan is tomatoes, peppers , onions, meat and potatoes, but not a "ton" of mushrooms.
The cost of 600₽ is not justified at all .
3. The cradle is overcooked on top, raw inside.
4. A boat with an egg, the worst that was eaten in Abkhazia , is absolutely tasteless.
5. There was more or less okroshka.
6. Lemonade is cold and delicious.
All the food was not salty , except for the soup , the maggie cube apparently did its job .
10% for the service , it is written on all the pages in the menu at once , I am ready to pay for it , but guys raise the level of service already .

The rice in the dolma is 50%, but it was undercooked, probably they took care of my figure))). Freshly squeezed tangerine juice turned out to be a compote of tangerines - not tasty, by the way. There are a lot of places where you can eat cheaper and tastier. For some reason, 10% of the fee was covered up in the bill, although this is directly indicated in the menu.
