A magnificent theater, even grander inside than outside! There is a park around, fountains! We have been to festival performances - one-act ballets - modern choreography - very worthy, I recommend it. The dancers are all like soloists, the technique is excellent. The performances were very unusual, memorable, for connoisseurs and fans of contemporary.
The theater building is impressive, the interior is beautiful, especially the central staircase.
I went to Othello, it's better to take tickets ahead of time (they were purchased three weeks in advance and the choice was already modest), since they sold out well and there was a full house at the production. There are very affordable options.
I liked the production, I especially want to highlight the performer of the Iago part.
Many thanks to all those involved in the restoration and maintenance of this Tbilisi pearl. The theater is very beautiful in the most magnificent form and the interior and exterior are preserved. We went to the ballet "Sleeping Beauty". The ballet company is international, all great fellows, and the soloists and the corps de ballet, the conductor and the orchestra. Everything is great, come and enjoy a cultural pastime.
A must-visit!
It is a very beautiful building, everything has been restored as new. The staff is friendly, courteous
We went to the premiere of Sleeping Beauty, we liked it! Excellent scenery, costumes of the artists, performance-everything is at the highest level!
Georgian Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Paliashvili is beautiful not only from the outside, but also inside, it resembles a palace from an oriental fairy tale. Near the theater, you can see the monument to Zahariya Paliashvili. We got to the opera and got a lot of unforgettable and indescribable emotions. Wonderful voices, very beautiful costumes. You need to see it with your own eyes!
A cozy, beautiful theater with excellent acoustics. On New Year's Eve, we watched the ballet The Nutcracker staged by the ex-prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Nina Ananiashvili. I got into a fairy tale. It is absolutely necessary to take the children to this production.
a great place to spend a pleasant evening. It's like I'm not a sophisticated spectator, the last time I was in opera was at school, 20 years ago, so I can't say anything about the quality of the production itself. Personally, I really liked everything. Impressions for the week ahead. It was also such a cool warm evening. We walked around Rustaveli for another hour.
This is a real pearl of Tbilisi and world culture. If you value art, quality and professionalism, then visiting this theater should definitely be on your list. I am proud to have the opportunity to enjoy such unique art, and I look forward to my next trip to this magical theater.
A magnificent hall with excellent acoustics, we listened to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

Inside, of course, I want a little restoration, but it's not so important. We were at the opera, everything was so professionally performed, the voices were perfectly chosen. The scenery and costumes are at the highest level
The opera is good, the ballet is weak compared to Russian, but not bad. The scenery is poor. But the theater itself, built under the Russians, is very beautiful
We went to the premiere of Hamlet on September 23. The opera turned out to be completely mediocre. The actors sat on chairs and read the text from the sheets. The voices were overshadowed by the music. They left after the first act so as not to torment themselves.
