If you want to feel yourself in 60th, this hotel will literally provide that feeling.
Giving stars only for good and caring stuff. I’d recommend owner to make some changes in design
An excellent hotel, although old, warm, bright, super service, good security always meet us, help us bring our suitcases, there is breakfast. The rooms are clean, nice, cozy, and all bathroom amenities are available. Not far from the hotel there is a park where you can walk and there is a good dining room. Large portions, prices are low and everything is always fresh and delicious.
A very pleasant hotel, an ideal location in the very center of Taraz, courteous staff, delicious breakfast. We really liked it. The elevator is unusual, with a view of the street

Excellent combination of price and quality, the rooms are very spacious, I got a room with a vine on the second floor. Breakfast is fine, you won't stay hungry. There is a men's hairdresser nearby, where you can get a haircut inexpensively.
a nice cozy hotel, we were in different hotels, but Zhambyl is very unusual and does not look like everything. It seems to me that the highlight is in the City of Taraz. The staff is trained, the location is right in the city center, everything is accessible.
I got a clean and cozy room, the room has air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, shower. Of the disadvantages, for all 5 days of stay, they never cleaned the room and did not change shampoo, soap and other consumables. Breakfast is included in the price, there are three options for the breakfast menu. The staff is very polite.
Everything is terribly old, the blanket is rotten, the sockets near the bed do not work. Breakfast was snapped up immediately, I had to wait for at least something to be brought
The rooms are nice, but old! The elevator has been built, it is located in the center! The staff did well! Cleanliness and comfort are available! Good breakfasts have been added! Location in the center!
The hotel is simple, but the staff is responsive, the breakfasts are decent, the room has everything you need, I don't know about entertainment. At the end of three days. I haven't settled others in this geography, but I think it's not bad for my location.
An old Soviet-era Hotel, Dzhambul, in the center of the old city of Taraz, the hotel rooms are cozy with high ceilings, the bed is clean, the repair is average and the staff is polite.
It needs to be repaired, the last time was in 2018, it seems... the service is good, the kitchen is also good, but the building itself as a Hotel was a bit outdated. If he comes to his senses, there will be the best Hotel in the city center.
A good hotel. In some places it looks a little tired, but everything is generally fine. The rooms are clean, a normal bed, a pillow. The bathroom is also clean, what else is needed.
We went to the sauna today. In the morning they said that the cabin costs 2500 tenge, they took it for 3 hours. In the evening we arrived and were disappointed, the steam room is so-so, the service is 0 and most importantly, in 2.5 hours we paid 8750 tenge, which is strange, but they explained that 2500 tenge per person and it turns out they gave us a discount of almost 12,000 tenge. That 9a divorce, I still did not understand. I do not advise you to go there!!!!
A tired hotel. For a standard room with 2-bed accommodation, only 1 breakfast is included in the price. For the second one, we had to pay 1,500K. The elevator did not work, I had to train my legs to the 4th floor and back. Breakfast is very poor. There were guests on our floor who clearly did not come for recreation, and my 2-year-old child had to fall asleep to the sounds of their "satisfaction". Among the advantages: parking and location. Everything else is in the red.
The good old Soviet Hotel, which does not particularly pretend to anything, has long passed the peak of its popularity. One advantage is the proximity to the center. The price-quality corresponds. Hot water, air conditioning, Internet are normal. The breakfasts are simple and the same every day.
The building is old from the outside. The interior is also such a mediocre renovation. It's just that there are no other accommodation options in Taraz along the way. And the prices are just clearly not Taraz. It's all about deconstruction.
I recently went to Taraz on business. At the beginning of October, I stayed at a guest house for 2 days. Zhambyl, my impressions exceeded my expectations. It would seem that the old hotel, the old building… But no, the room is warm, cozy and clean. A modern elevator, safe on oil, as I was told. And the most important thing is that I liked the free business center, and Wi-Fi around the perimeter, the cat. It works around the clock. I had a bunch of documents printed out and unsealed. And of course I want to express my gratitude to the service staff for the warm welcome and responsiveness!!! Well done!!!
