I really liked it.We joined the group and listened to the story....we went to the spring and plunged into the holy spring...we visited the zoo from the Zhirovichi monastery, it is free of charge👍
In terms of beauty, it is very beautiful. But you can't go to many places. Where you can go alone without a group, it's just a small courtyard with a bunch of shops and a shop in, as if you didn't come to church, but to the bazaar. 1.5 km from the monastery there is a spring, there is a park, fonts and there is much more holiness than in the monastery.
A place of strength and faith, the beauty of culture! From a young age, children need to be taught such concepts! And the kitchen in such a place creates a special atmosphere of taste!
I'm glad I visited. But I was surprised that it was impossible to light candles during the service, the tc came with an excursion, they left before the end of the service. Saturday
I come here very often; I am from St. Petersburg and here, in the Assumption Monastery, I like the surrounding peace and quiet. The monastery itself is small and is currently being actively restored in connection with the upcoming five hundredth anniversary of the monastery. I think by May 19 (the celebration of the Zhirovichi Icon of the Virgin) the monastery will be generally beautiful. I especially liked the finest painting on the wall of the new monastery refectory (it was difficult to get there, but I succeeded)); the springs near the monastery are beautifully equipped - it's a pity that there is no pointer to one of them - I hope they will make it. And it is a pity that the most beautiful willow tree was cut down at the entrance to the monastery, without it the view is not the same.
The Holy stone is kept in the Church of Yavlen, on which, after the fire, the Blessed Virgin Herself appeared in a fiery glow, returning Her miraculous, uncreated image. The stone particles began to be reverently sorted out by pious pilgrims with the belief that they provide healing for various ailments and protect from fires and other accidents.
Orthodox People revere this place, in addition to its religious significance, the monastery has its own rich history, the monastery is certainly an ornament of Belarus.
A place of power, a place where worldly vanity fades into the background, everything is measured and sedate here. Every Orthodox should visit it at least occasionally. Peace and tranquility emanate from the walls of the monastery.

A very beautiful monastery complex, a square with a bell tower. The parking lot once had a large garden with apple trees and powerful pears. A bright place.
One of the main Orthodox shrines of Belarus, the Zhirovichi Icon of the Mother of God, is located here. The monastery has a corresponding status by right!
