First of all, I was interested in the observation deck, or rather the observation balcony with a beautiful view of Almaty. In the season when the balcony is open, be sure to book a table there in advance. At the end of October, the balcony was no longer serviced, but the tables were in place and, as an exception, as tourists were allowed to stay there. Thank you very much for the participation of the hostesses and waiters. Wonderful guys!
The sommelier recommended the port and served it to us himself. A good glass of Chef&Sommelier glasses for the proper opening of the drink! Another plus sign for karma and advantages for the institution

The restaurant on Kok-Tobe Mountain is a great place to relax and eat delicious food. The view from the mountain is simply amazing, especially at sunset. Still, I would like chocolate to flow from the chocolate fondue, because the dessert served already tasted like brownies, although it was served very beautifully - obviously overexposed.

One of the best viewpoints of the city. It's nice to sit upstairs on the mountain - on the veranda, eat different dishes from the traditional menu and chat with friends, colleagues or partners. And the food here is really delicious. If it's cool or not in the mood for a veranda, then maybe it's even more atmospheric to sit inside. Moreover, there are national performances / dances in the evenings (perhaps not every evening). I recommend it to everyone!

Ресторан дороже среднего с блюдами национальной и европейской кухни.
Отличный интерьер, вид на город с веранды.
Салат со свёклой и авокадо - 5, все свежее.
Салат из конины - 5, не хватает оригинальности - это кусочки тёплой конины на листьях салата с подходящим соусом.
Куырдак трио - 5, огромная тарелка трех видов (говядина, конина и баранина) тушеного мяса и немного картошки. Очень сытное блюдо, пожалел, что не взяли одно на двоих. Мясо прекрасно приготовлено, очень вкусно.
Куырдак по-казахски - 4, мясо говядины и печень, сочетание не понравилось. Видимо, с непривычки.
Чай по-казахски - 5, понравился.
Обслуживание отличное, 15% включено в счёт.
Итого 36 тыс тенге (6 тыс руб).

Probably one of, if not the best place in Almaty to eat very tasty food and experience real Kazakh hospitality. The prices are above average, but believe me it's worth it! In the warmer months, I recommend booking a table on the open terrace, which offers amazing views of Almaty, Kok-Tobe and the mountains. Next to the wardrobe, you can find national costumes in which you can take very authentic photos.

Чай и кофе посредственны. Расположение прекрасное с точки зрения локации как таковой - на склоне холма, с видом на город. Но далековато от центра.
Атмосфера в целом приятная, хотя по мне - шумновато.
А ещё удалось оценить репертуар и вокальные данные исполнительницы живой музыки - изумительно!

I visited the place a couple of times, both with minimal workload (on weekdays late in the evening, I was sitting there alone), and I had to wait a long time for the waiter.
There are not many complaints about the kitchen, but I want to note that I think the cook's vision is strange. The menu is quite interesting, the serving is excellent, but the dishes are given as if they are not well-known to the taste. It's bland, the meat is a bit harsh. You expect a higher level of cooking from a restaurant with such a menu.
