I had a rest at the mini-hotel Abkhazia in August 2024. What can I say about the hotel itself, despite the rather old year of construction, its territory, lobby and room are clean and tidy. The reception staff is friendly, explained everything, told where Everything is. A deposit of 2 tr is charged upon arrival. It is refunded upon departure. Check-in takes place at 14:00, but if it is possible to check in earlier, you need to pay 150 rubles for each hour. Now as for the room: it is clean, there is no dampness, mold and insects. There is a TV, air conditioning and a safe. Everything is in working order. Upon request, the reception kindly provided a hairdryer for the entire stay. There is also a dryer in the room with a balcony. So towels and a swimsuit are always somewhere to dry. There is a refrigerator, but it is shared on the floor, located in the hallway. There is also a water cooler and an ironing board with an iron. The hotel is located on the second line, 5 minutes from the beach. There are a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. There are also a lot of points where excursions are offered. There is an amusement park next to the embankment. In general, the Abkhazia hotel is a great option for budget outdoor activities!

We had a vacation in August 2024, we had 3 families. Accordingly, we rented 3 different rooms. We arrived early, as the train was in the morning. They refused to check us in, although the rooms were free. They demanded an extra charge for every hour of early check-in, so I had to sit with the children at the reception desk in the lobby. In two of the three rooms, the air conditioners did not work well, and in one of the rooms, 3 days before the eviction, the air conditioner stopped working altogether. The Internet was connected only in the common corridor, the TV on the second floor in the room was turned off only by a button and one channel was working. The water in the shower did not drain well (2nd floor). The balcony door in the third-floor room opened only if it was lifted. The safe wasn't working at all.The receptionist, Amina, generally behaved rudely, did not want to refund the deposit until we left the hotel, although she checked the room an hour before our departure.

Excellent hotel, air conditioning in the room, toilet and shower, refrigerator on the floor. The furniture is all carved from wood, just gorgeous. The view from the balcony is simply amazing of the mountains. There are shops, cafes and canteens nearby. The beach is nearby. We really liked it 👍

Good afternoon!We were supposed to check into this hotel on 03/10/2024 .We came and the first thing that greeted us was the smell of dampness and cold, and yes, darkness :)Light is clearly being saved .There was no employee at the reception, but a lemon, a knife and dust, yes)A sofa that has clearly seen the best of times, because the upholstery of the sofa at the bottom has long been cut off and the wooden frame remains .Nevertheless, we rang the bell at the reception and after 2 minutes a curious boy ran out, and after 3 more an employee came out.So we proved to him for 10 minutes that our number was blocked .It's good that I took a copy of the voucher for paying for this hotel.But the employee said that they were not waiting for anyone and no one should check in, and then everything that we came to the wrong address.Until we poked our finger at their address.Then the employee "took pity" and said that they would prepare the room and we could leave the bags there.There's a corridor with no lights and lots of rooms.The employee just shouted that they were looking for 1 door.There was dirt and dust in the room, I didn't even know where to put the bag.There was simply nowhere to put it .In short, we just understood that we would not live there, we just ran away from there .Dirt, dampness and some kind of horror movie nightmare.Do not try to live there and do not let the photos of the mini-hotel deceive you.They were made at the opening of the hotel probably in the 80s

When booking a room at this hotel, we searched for reviews on the Internet, and they are, of course, contradictory, although the overall rating is quite high. Now I will leave my feedback and this applies to our rooms/
In the middle of July 2023, we booked three "half-box" rooms for our entire company. These rooms are located on the roof: each room has a separate turret, all there are four rooms. Going up to the 4th floor with suitcases is not very convenient, however, the receptionist offered help, which is nice.
In general, the corridors of the hotel are clean, the stairs and walls are not shabby, there is a cooler on each floor, only on the fourth it did not cook hot water, so we promptly put a kettle on, by the way, there are no kettles in the rooms, which is strange, it would be very convenient. The common area on the roof is already "tired", the fence needs to be repaired, too, raises security issues. There is a dryer with clothespins near each turret.
Number. The doors are made of iron and they are already being replaced, they creak VERY much in all rooms on the roof. There are no carpets in the rooms, the floor is tiled, but it is very convenient for us. The beds in the rooms are made of real wood, very thick branches and trunks, it looks interesting, but most importantly they do not creak and do not swing, there are cots from extra places, of course you can sleep on them, but they also need to be replaced, sofas of course already need to be thrown away. The light is only basic, there is air conditioning, a TV, but the quality of the channels is very disgusting, and we prefer not to watch TV. In the rooms on the fourth floor, each room has a refrigerator. In the rest of the rooms, we realized that the refrigerator was on the floor. Synthetic bed linen is cheaper. There are enough towels, both large and small. The bathroom is very huge, there is no curtain, but in principle the washing room is far away and there is a side, so there were no problems with splashes. During our arrival, the water was both hot and cold all the time, the pressure was excellent, only 10 seconds to skip and boiling water. The light was on, only on the last day it was turned off three times all over the street, at this time there is no water, however, the hotel has its own generator and when the light turns off for more than 10 minutes, it is started and water problems immediately go away.
Room cleaning on demand, when you leave the keys at the reception, they clean up cleanly, put things in order, the linen is changed every five days, but then trouble happened to the children and they changed us without problems and unnecessary reminders almost immediately. There are washing machines and for 150 rubles you can wash your own clothes. In general, any of our requests to replace the lamp, clean the room, repair the faucet, or rather the hook where to hang the watering can, were carried out promptly. It is very rare where this happens in Abkhazia, and even in image hotels, I have to remind them five times, and they also switch the arrows to other shifts, everything was fine here.
The yard is small, there is a small trampoline for children, but you need to control very small ones, there are a couple of tables. Somewhere on the Internet we read that the hotel has its own bus and there will be no problems with excursions, but either the bus is messing around somewhere, we did not see it, but you can book excursions from the administrator, although we did not like it, you can find it cheaper and probably more interesting on the street. Please note that on all excursions, the tour guide and drivers are offered an additional paid package type, but for the most part it's not worth it.
The Internet catches only in the corridors.
Either the cleaning is really good here, or we monitored the hygiene of the children very carefully, no one seriously picked up any viruses, there was a common southern stomach disorder, and it passed.
There is a dining room in the building, but as they said, it does not belong to the hotel, the dining room cooks delicious, BUT VERY VERY slowly, I do not advise you to waste time, the waiter constantly confused orders, had to correct and comment on it, they cook from under the knife, even soups are cooked only when you order without blanks. There are a bunch of other law enforcement agencies nearby with delicious food and operational restaurants, they accept mostly cash or transfer.
There are no problems with stores either, they are just everywhere, there is a store on the left that accepts cards, across the street by transfer.
In general, this is not a bad option for Abkhazia, given the price segment, but it's time to start repairing the hotel, at least replace the doors first and update the clamshells, think about the kettles of the room, and throw out the old sofas.

The air conditioning does not work in the room. It turns on only after 10 pm. They gave me a fan. But!!!! Since the voltage is low, it does not work at full power either!!! You have to ask more than once to turn on the generator (which they have). The room is very small and in the heat of 30 degrees it is simply unbearable!!! You come from the sea, you want to relax, but here it's even worse than on the street!!!

The rooms have wooden beds, as in primitive times from whole tree trunks, the hotel, if you can call it that, looks more like a hostel in which they do not clean, the linen is black and dirty, ants are all around, the rooms are dirty, there is no refrigerator, no kettle, no spoons or mugs, no hair dryer, the TV looks very bad two channels, no WI-FI, I had to buy an amobail SIM card for 1,500 rubles for a week, which you can only use the Internet, you can't call or send SMS, there are drawbacks. The price tag of this hotel is no more than 100 rubles per day. No more foot and other people do not wear this "mini hotel" it is not a hotel, but a hostel where there is nothing but insects. And for more or less normal hotels they ask for a lot of money, it is better to rent a hotel in Adler or Sochi with a price tag twice as low.

In general, the hotel is not very bad when compared with the rest. The room is of course very small, but everything you need is there. They gave me an extra place, the cot is broken. We also caught a strong intestine, I do not know in the room or in the sea, in general I will say this, I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO ABKHAZIA WITH CHILDREN IN THE SUMMER! Everyone suffers from the intestinal virus, what is happening in their hospital is something terrible! And if Russia also has this intestine, then we have at least a medicine. You can die from an ordinary intestine there! We prayed that they would give us an ambulance and bring us to Russia. YOU SHOULD NOT TRAVEL TO ABKHAZIA WITH CHILDREN.

We had a rest with the children.... It was just one torment, not a rest.. There is no sense from the conder, the room is very small, the extra place is a cot on which it was not possible to sleep, we changed with my husband, we suffered in this hotel, I really do not advise them, they have problems with electricity, therefore the conder does not work properly, it is not possible to stay in the room during the day, and since we like many others got sick with rotovirus, then they had to lie in this stuffy, smelly room, there is no toilet paper holder in the toilet, the shower hangs on the faucet, there was not even a shelf at the sink, there was no place to put the bathrooms, water accumulates in the shower, cleaning on request. It is better to rent a hotel house with a kitchen to cook for yourself, because there was trouble with food for us, everything was very not tasty, the children came with skills... The worst vacation of my life. If you are going to Abkhazia, take a good Hotel

The most unpleasant thing was the problem with the water - there was no water at all, then there was no hot water! Instead of a kettle, they gave out a small coffee maker for 2 cups of tea, which had to be lowered back with each use!((( A cot, like a hammock, is impossible to sleep!((( Moreover, there is mold on the walls, it is impossible to breathe in the toilet where the shower stall is damp!!!((( I do not recommend that you suffer with children, and you were poisoned specifically in the toilet almost died while everything was thrown up and there was no warm water, the poor child took a shower in cold water!🤢🤮🥶😱😱😱 The bed linen stinks of men's sweat, to which the cleaner replied that they had cheap powder!🤭😑 We threw out the garbage ourselves, in 6 days we washed the floors just 1 time!((( For that kind of money, this hotel is not worth it!(((

We rested here in early September 2018.An excellent inexpensive mini-hotel.Standard small rooms (even with a safe), but the refrigerator is shared on the floor.The sea was visible from the room, and if you go up to the roof-a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area.Everything is nearby:the beach is a 10-minute leisurely walk away, shops,canteens,cafes are right on the same street.Of the cons:we came across a creaky bed (we contacted the staff, and it was quickly repaired, although it continued to creak), and Wi-Fi on the 3rd floor was no longer available.The staff is very friendly and helpful.I would like to stay at this hotel again

We didn't even check into this hotel. We booked a room in the Tower, the so-called Semi-suite. This is certainly something. They wouldn't even stay for free. We didn't even undress, but just went to another hotel. This is a broken-down hotel with smelly rooms, mold, dead furniture, the bathroom resembled a toilet at the train station. The photos on the site were taken about 30 years ago. It's scary to remember this dirt, smells, mold and the depressing state of the hotel. Where did the hotel get such a rating? we fell for the reviews and ratings. It is a pity that they did not take a photo, there was a desire to leave this hotel as soon as possible.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2021. Upon check-in, they take a deposit of 1000 rubles per person, and return it upon eviction. I liked everything very much, except for the lack of hot water. Since the water was in the boilers, and the rooms were almost all occupied, there was not enough for everyone.
You come in from the sea at lunch, only cold. In the evening before going to bed, the same situation. I had to keep watch.
The staff is super, very friendly, all issues were resolved on the spot and without problems.
They asked for additional sockets and brought an extension cord. A simple hair dryer, I was given it for the entire stay (special thanks). The cleaning was ordered, everything was cleaned and the bed linen was changed within a few hours.
We lived on the ground floor, the window faced the wall, but there was always shade. The dining room, which was located near the hotel, was not working, and it was quiet. As soon as it was opened, the music interfered (little things)
Wi-Fi does not catch in the room, but we had private Internet, so it's not scary.
There are places for smoking in front of the entrance and just to sit in the fresh air.

The clothes dryer is located behind the hotel building (it's a pity that we didn't find out right away, as we couldn't dry our clothes for a couple of days due to the high humidity)
The hotel has a price list with excursions, very convenient. Transfer to the airport or railway station 500 rubles.
Check-out is before 12:00, and we ordered the transfer at 14:00. We were allowed to leave our things near the room and we could safely go about our business before leaving.

We rested in this hotel in July 2021. We took a semi-suite room on the 4th floor in the tower. The first thing I noticed was that everything was done on snot - these are bare wires wrapped barely not with tape, but with tape. It's terrible bedding and a complete lack of internet. Wi-Fi catches only on the ground floor near the reception. Then when we went to the toilet, we just wanted to turn around and go back home. The first thing that meets in the toilet is that there is a terrible smell of sewage, and even with the window slightly open, it simply does not fade. The shower cabin (if you can call it that) has never been cleaned or even washed, there is such a fungus and mold that mom does not grieve. There is practically no hot water, and if there is, then there is a very weak pressure. I couldn't wash my practically bald head there because of that. that there is no pressure. My wife was even worse for it. On the first day when we checked in there, it was 05.07.21 it was raining heavily on the streets at night and the roof was flowing intensively right above the bed. Their laundry costs 150 rubles. one car for the whole hotel. The linen is changed there on the fifth day and then if you remind me about it. the rooms are not cleaned at all. People were leaving the next room in front of us and the cleaning lady came in and said: "And what to clean up here, everything is clean here." He closes the door and leaves. There is a Tajik or Uzbek worker in the building who was supposed to come to my room and fix the roof, but this did not happen in 10 days, fortunately there were no more rains. I do not recommend this hotel complex to anyone. It's very dirty, just very dirty. I also looked under the bed and sofa to my curiosity, all the garbage is probably swept away by the cleaner there. There is one significant disadvantage - this is the lack of Wi-Fi in the room, you have to go down to the hall on the second floor to catch a good signal.

The shower stinks of dampness, mold, except for tual.There is nothing on paper! The Internet is not catching!Every day, lights are turned off at night and during the day, there are interruptions with water!
