We spent 5 days at the hotel. Polite staff, good homemade food for breakfast and dinner, for which many thanks to the chef. Thanks to all the maintenance staff. Very good location, the sea is across the street. In our room, the Windows faced the roadway, but the windows are good, the road is almost inaudible. I would have put an A, but the TV does not work, although this was not stated.

The hotel is not bad. The rooms are standard, but compact and clean. The breakfast is a buffet, without any special frills, but quite decent. The staff is nice, especially the girls from the dining room! One of the main advantages is the proximity to the beach: just one minute, and you are already at sea. Quadro Pedro's quad bike riding was also a nice addition.

Cons:
The family room does not have air conditioning in the bedroom. The air conditioner is in the second room, and how it does not adjust to the sleeping place. The extra bed itself is only externally such, it is not particularly possible to sleep there.
A bathroom without a curtain and any fences, when you take a shower, half of the bathroom will be flooded with spray. The ventilation in the bathroom is practically not working.
TVs are a pure decoration - there is no single channel, no smart TV.
The room is cleaned strangely. The bones from the fruit in the plate on the table remained uncovered, unless we threw them out ourselves. In the shower, no one cleaned the packages from hotel shampoos and shower gels at all. And on the penultimate day, the room was not cleaned at all - why, if they move out tomorrow.
The rooms themselves have ordinary single-chamber double-glazed windows, which in no way protect from the noise of the road, which is very loaded - after all, this is actually a republican highway. There is no ventilation in the rooms either, if you want to ventilate, open the windows, listen to the noise of the street.
There is 1 iron with a mini board for the whole hotel, and if you need to iron clothes, then wait until they are released, if they do not forget to return
The hotel does not have fire escapes, and the issue of evacuation in case of an emergency remains open.
Breakfasts and dinners, without which it was impossible to purchase accommodation in the season, is something strange. There has never been any fresh bread. It seems that they bought returnable bread in bakeries after they could not sell it in stores for 2 days, no other way. It's not clear where they found such terrible vegetables at all,
The only really edible and relatively safe food was watermelons.

It used to be the most beloved, cozy, clean hotel in New Athos, we often went there many times. Now we rested in the period from June 21-24, 2024.
The room has a disgusting bed, nails sticking out of the bed. Yellow towels and pillows, the plumbing is just in terrible condition!
On the very first evening, they realized that the TV was not working. It doesn't catch channels, it just doesn't work. I contacted the manager, who answered all my requests: "I'm on vacation in Istanbul right now and I don't even know if the TV is working in my room, I recommend you to walk more too and please don't spoil my vacation!"
this is the manager's reaction to the requests of the hotel guests
but! THE CULMINATION of all - of the three days of vacation - there was no water in the room for two days!!!! On the third day, the lights were turned off!!! It's just terrible! coming from the sea, you can't take a shower!!! I.e. the hotel is not equipped with either a generator or backup water tanks! in general, we did not stay there anymore and left before the paid time. By the way, on the very first day I wanted to leave, but the reception clearly said that the hotel does not directly solve all these issues, now everything is only through the tour operator. I called them - they didn't even talk to me about the refund, at least for the following days. *when booking, they had a condition of full payment for all days of rest.
In general, I DO NOT RECOMMEND the hotel to ANYONE now!!!!
until the management changes its attitude towards its guests, there is nothing to do there!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone We vacationed with my husband at this hotel in June 2024. We liked everything very much.
The hotel is located on the first line. We lived on the third floor. The windows offer stunning views of the mountains, the monastery and the fortress.
On the other hand, there is a sea view, but, again, guests living on the sea side will not want to open the windows, since there is a highway nearby.
The rooms are clean, cleaning is daily.
The food is excellent (we had breakfasts and dinners): porridge, omelette, pancakes, pasta, sausages (delicious), cottage cheese, there is everything for sandwiches; for dinner: soups, various side dishes, meat, fish, vegetables, etc.
Of the cons:
1. The TV is not working (no channels). Judging by the reviews, this is a common complaint, because the TV is advertised in the hotel.
2. There are coffee machines in the dining room, but they don't work.
3. There are no free sunbeds on the beach.
But all these disadvantages did not spoil our impressions of the hotel and its wonderful staff! I give it 5 stars.

We stayed at this hotel from 2.08.24 to 08/13.24. We liked everything very much. The staff was friendly, cleaning was done every day, linen was changed every three days. The room has a refrigerator, safe, air conditioning, hairdryer, TV, kettle. There is a buffet in the dining room, the food is varied at home. The beach is within walking distance, just walk under the bridge. Nearby there is a bus stop, a restaurant, canteens, a pharmacy. We liked everything very much. I recommend it!!!

We rested in a standard room, a good hotel, of course there are disadvantages, but for us they were not critical. The closet in the room is too small (there is a refrigerator and a safe in it) 5 hangers and one shelf for things, the TV did not work, things in the room dried very badly (there is no balcony). We had breakfast and dinner included (buffet), the food was delicious, I wanted a little more variety. Excellent location, the sea is across the street, there is a passage from the hotel.

But if you live in the left wing, you will not be able to enjoy the New Athos air, because there is a restaurant downstairs and all the smoke goes into the room. There is no elevator, keep in mind. And the service, as in all of Abkhazia, leaves much to be desired. There is a button for calling the administrator at the reception, but you have to wait a long time. There is no phone. The hotel is well located, new and modern. The only owners saved on mattresses, there are none, these are wooden pallets lined with fabric, after a sleepless night when I woke up and barely got out of bed, looked at what I was sleeping on and was shocked how the hotel identified itself as a premium segment, could not even buy normal mattresses, it's just a shame! I can recommend a hotel, mostly just the pros: the hotel itself is very beautiful, looks expensive and of high quality compared to many others. The rooms are good, the standard one has everything you need: air conditioning, a mini fridge, a hairdryer, dishes, and a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar are served every day. The bathroom is decent, everything is clean and the ventilation is working. Quick cleaning and garbage removal every day, towels and bed linen were changed 2 times in 10 days - there are absolutely no complaints. There is a TV, but nominally, it shows only one channel) Only a full-length mirror was missing from the package, although I noticed that it was messed up in the room.
The location of the hotel is good - 2 steps to the sea, the same distance to all attractions, a couple of cafes and shops are also nearby. Music doesn't scream anywhere at night, and a lot of tourists don't go by either. The only disadvantage to the location is that you will have to pay for a beautiful view of the sea from the window with the noise of the central road, which is located right next to the building. Cars drive all day long, I had to constantly close the windows.
Wi-Fi almost always worked well, there were only a couple of moments that were stupid. We even watched live broadcasts calmly sometimes.
Our meals included only breakfast. The price is the same for all meals - 700 rubles per person. Honestly, it's expensive for what they offer.
The variety at breakfast, although small, is still there, everyone can choose something for themselves, but at the same time, firstly, the same thing every day (minimal change), secondly, all the dishes that stand on heated baking trays and should be hot were always cold. And there is no microwave so that you can reheat it yourself. There is a cappuccino function in the coffee machine, but no milk was ever found there) In general, after 10 days of eating, I was very tired of everything, I was looking for an opportunity to diversify my food on my own) According to the taste of the dishes, I can rate it as "good", 4 out of 5.
The beach at the hotel seems to have its own, but the sun beds are still paid. Another disadvantage of the beach is that a river flows into the sea right next to it, all the dirt from it remains in the waves on the shore after the rains. We went to the left along the embankment, there are more comfortable places there.
The staff at the hotel is friendly, all issues were resolved without problems. And in general, only positive emotions remained, the disadvantages that I wrote about did not spoil the impression at all. It was possible to put 5 stars, but still there is something to work on)

Great hotel. We had a wonderful 7 days in it in June 2024. The location is just super, everything is within walking distance, it's cool that there is a passage from it under the road directly to the sea.
The attitude of the staff is wonderful. Comfort and cleanliness are created from the heart. The rooms are very cozy. The food is simple, but tasty and definitely fresh, the assortment is suitable for both children and adults.

We had a rest in April this year, thanks to the men at the reception (unfortunately, the girls won't even pay attention to you, and it's not entirely clear whether they were administrators or not), kind and helpful, always came to the rescue if something happened, but if it was too often, we even they laughed that I was so harmful, it's just that the room is clean, the bathroom is too, which is very pleasing) the linen and towels are clean, without any stains. I had a double room with a view of the mountains and the Anakop fortress, it is illuminated at night, the views are gorgeous, I don't even regret that neither the sea. We had breakfast included, a buffet. Of course, the coffee machine did not work because we arrived in no season and just turned off the lights during breakfast. Yes, of course I would like the hot stuff to be hot after all, but we treated it with understanding that it was not the fault of the hotel. The women in the kitchen are the kindest and very pleasant. We checked into a room with a view of the mountains - in fact, the unkempt yard of local residents. At first glance, the room is decent, but then it turned out to be not so simple. The first disadvantage is terrible lighting, to find something in the closet, for example, you need a flashlight, otherwise it's useless)
The second is that the extractor hood in the san node does not work.
The third window does not close tightly to the street, which causes some discomfort when trying to fall asleep.
We came to the reception in the morning, asked to change the room, we were fed with promises for 2 days, as a result, while we were away - allegedly everything was fixed - well, yes, well)
On the first question about the hood - they did not repair the fan in the room, stupidly decided to add the hood of the entire floor - a terrible hum began, I went out into the corridor and I realized that he was from there. He asked me to do it back as it was)
No one even touched the window, although I pointed out that there was no upper pressure plate. The standard excuse is to close it harder. And what's the use if there's nothing to catch the lock on? In short, they resigned themselves, but the sediment remained.
In the dining room, everything is quite expected - modest food, the only thing that happened at breakfast was too much vegetable oil. For example, the glaze floated in it. Sausages and sausage are clearly not made of meat, but why pour oil on everything? Cheese - of course, not from milk, but from substitutes. Porridge is generally unknown from what and with what. They didn't poison me, and thanks for that.
The location of the hotel is good, everything is close, but if it weren't for the attitude of the staff to the vacationers, I could have a good rest…

With nutrition, you need to be careful: in the evening, everything that is not eaten in the morning is mixed into the salad. There is no backup diesel generator, so if the light goes out, you risk being left without air conditioning, water, including in the toilet, and power. In general, the owner of the hotel did not remember anything good, except for parking his luxury Lexus right in front of the entrance to the building.

I really liked the hotel, the location is wonderful, there are many cafes, canteens nearby, a wonderful Guada restaurant, the hotel has excellent service, the staff is very polite, the room is clean, cleaning every day, towels are changed, everything is clean, snow-white, a set of shampoo, gel, soap is updated in the bathroom every day. The tea set is also being updated, and there are bottles of drinking water in the room upon arrival. The hotel cafe is well fed, everything is clean, the girls are very careful about cleanliness, thank you for a great stay. The junior suite has a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony, the room is huge, there is a kettle, dishes, even a corkscrew and wine glasses in the room, I really liked everything. We thank all the staff of the hotel, thank you so much for your sensitive attitude! Everything would be fine, and the room (suite) and the staff are friendly, there are a lot of places around where you can walk and eat delicious food, but there are two disadvantages:
1) the music in the beach bar is loud until nightfall, and low-grade, such as Negro rap with bass. It ends at 2 o'clock in the morning.
2) noise from the road. Cars drive, including at night, and they are very audible. For those who live on the 3rd ring, this is not a problem, but it bothers me. Locals fly right-hand drive cars right under the windows and apparently the faster you fly past the hotel, the more you are a horseman. It is not possible to sleep. For 12 thousand / night I would like to rest.
Positive:
1) the nature around. Very interesting plants, trees, bushes. Clean air.

For this region and specifically for New Athos, this is one of the best hotels. Indeed, the location is convenient, the scenery is good, the sea is nearby, the sights are within walking distance, polite staff. However, there is something to work on:
1) food in the restaurant. We only had breakfasts, but they were monotonous, meager and tasteless every day. Porridge on water, eggs and omelette with sausages, sticky pasta, cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelon. I wonder why there are no pastries and fruits (this is certainly not a shortage in Abkhazia). We took dinner once and didn't like it either;
2) Television. Forget it and relax. TV is hanging, but there are 3 channels (music in Polish, it seems, advertising with the eternal fortune teller and Euronews, which most often does not work;
3) audibility. My husband was told: "Be healthy!" when he sneezed. You can hear everything, as if they all live together;
4) an outrageous printout of the hotel's information, which consists for the most part of a system of fines for everything. I haven't seen this anywhere. It is strange, unfriendly and spoils the impression immediately;
5) Laundry room: do not hand over the laundry! Instead of things, washed rags were returned to us in a damp and crumpled form. There is a feeling that our things were launched along with the hotel towels and did not even bother to dry and fold, let alone iron. We are used to hotels returning things like dry cleaning, but here they just spoil them.
And finally, an intestinal infection! This is not about the hotel, but about the place as a whole. Everyone was hurting. Minus 1-3 days of rest.
We wish the development of the region, New Athos, and the hotel.

Nice hotel, close to the sea. We took a deluxe room specially on the ground floor, spacious, clean, a little audible at night to visitors at the reception, but not criminally. Keep in mind that there is one TV channel in the room, and it is not always in Russian, it was not criminal for us, but sometimes I wanted to watch something. We had breakfast included, but we went once, ate at a cafe on the beach. The dining room is renovated, cozy, a large selection of cereals, coffee, tea, milk, hot sausages, omelette from the refrigerator, tired tomatoes, but we did not expect anything big, still not 5 *. The service is excellent, the receptionists are friendly, always happy to help. The main thing is that the sea is clean, you can rent sun loungers, delicious cafes within walking distance. We would have come back again!

2 adults and 2 children stayed in the suite for 11 days at the end of June 2023. The view from the room is gorgeous, on the one hand the sea, on the other the view of the park, the mountains and the New Athos Monastery. The sea is a 2-minute walk away. The rooms are cleaned at the proper level, the bed linen was changed 2 times. Polite and helpful staff. We took full board. A buffet, there is always a choice, of course not a buffet of the Turkish five, but everything is delicious and homemade and the children ate very well and we were all healthy and happy during the whole holiday. I definitely recommend it. Of the disadvantages, there is a weak water supply to the 4th floor when the hotel is fully occupied, but this is only in the evening hours.

There is a small river next to the cafe. The hotel is very beautiful. The views from the rooms are mesmerizing. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. But I think the food should be much better for that kind of money. And so everything is very modest, at the very least, I can't say that it's not tasty, but it's poor. For example, for lunch: Olivier salad, cabbage salad, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled cucumbers and tomatoes. Chicken soup, and something else. Chicken wings, pilaf, baked vegetables and rice, compote and tea. Fruit slicing: apple, pear, apricot. And it's like this every day. Excellent hotel, safe in the room, air conditioning copes with a bang, daily cleaning, friendly staff, floor mirror in the room (convenient). The staircases are finished in porcelain stoneware, the corridors and rooms are carpeted. The biggest plus is the accessibility of the beach, very close, without problems.
Of the cons, even more recommendations:
it is not convenient to place ironed clothes in the standard, the walls allow you to place hangers, and there is only one locker in the room with a width of 0.6 m

We had a rest in early June 2023. There are only pleasant impressions about the hotel. We took a deluxe room, at the reception they offered to choose a view from the window. The room is equipped with all necessary appliances, air conditioning, TV, kettle, refrigerator, hair dryer (weak). The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed 1 time in 7 days. The staff is polite, answered all your questions. The hotel is on the first line of the road with a lot of traffic, accordingly it is noisy, and the local population also has a habit of honking when they see a friend and want to say hello)), but it didn't really bother us, they closed the windows at night. We had an eviction earlier than the departure, we were allowed to leave our suitcases at the reception, and for a late check-out they announced the amount of 1000 rubles. I recommend the hotel, it complemented our positive holiday experience.

I really liked everything.The room is well maintained, clean...everything you need is there (refrigerator, kettle, cutlery, hair dryer).The sea is across the road.A large balcony on which to drink coffee in the morning is a pleasure.In general, everything is great, I recommend it!

Nice, beautiful place but, parking problems. Arrived, Stopped in an empty parking lot, a man immediately approached, said you can't park here, they say this is parking for minibuses. I note that there was not a single minibus in this parking lot, there were cars and there were a lot of empty seats. He asked me to move to another place. At another place, a man in a vest immediately approached and asked to pay for parking, although there were no signs that this was paid parking. it's just that people are already cheating, rowing money.
We arrived at lunch and naturally the queue was 150 people in the caves, But thanks to kind and sympathetic people we got into the caves in half an hour for the same money.)
Nothing has changed in the caves, also the guide says that additional halls are about to be opened, it will be even more interesting, but in my opinion more than 5 years have passed, and the same song.
I go to Abkhazia almost every year, but this year I didn't really like it, the prices were inflated, and the service was not increased.
