The place is super, we were sitting on the cot outside, very cozy and colorful. There are no questions about food, nor about service. Everything is fast and delicious.
I liked the cafe so much that we only went to it in Samarkand :)
Excellent restaurant, visited several times. It's a wonderful place.
The food is simply amazing, the service is 10 points.
There is a large parking lot if you come with guests or with a large family.
There are no comments on the kitchen. But the service did not work right away:at first, the waiters waited a long time to place an order ("I thought you had already ordered"), and then, when it turned out that there was no ordered corn for the barbecue, I asked them to bring the menu to choose something in return. I managed to choose a new dish, my mother managed to finish her order, and the barbecue was already brought here... and the waiter (whom I asked at least 2 times to call through other staff) was still not there. It was only when I asked another passing waiter why pay the 10% included in the receipt for a service that was not there that my waiter appeared. And he told me that he had been away for so long because he was talking... with my mother, whom I haven't seen for a long time.
Of course, I understand that the guy is bored, family ties are sacred, but why should the client suffer because of this?
We ruined lunch, the mood and the first impression of the restaurants in Samarkand.
Inexpensive as everywhere in Samarkand, the waiters do not know who needs something - they ask, shish kebab, chicken fillet and thigh fillet are on the menu, they just ordered fillet, brought thigh fillet - they said that it was the same thing, the flatbread was not brought fresh, there are no drinks on the menu - everything is in words, but there is a lot - inconvenient. I ordered two tortillas, and they brought one. There are three of us, they brought one menu, I went and took it myself - there's a whole stack, they cook on ordinary coal, they light it with a fan behind the cafe
The food is delicious. The cuisine is mixed (European and Uzbek). Baklava is wonderful, the most delicious I've ever tasted. The service is wonderful, everything was explained and prompted. There are two halls: the first, at the entrance, is more calm, music is playing in the second (apparently, a show program). We were in January, the room is warm and cozy, unlike the two places where we were the day before, it's cool there in jackets.
Firstly, the service is terrible.
The staff absolutely does not know in what order to give the dishes.
First, a slightly warm barbecue was brought, after 15 minutes and three reminders to the waiter, fresh vegetables were finally brought, which were ordered for the barbecue.
Absolute ignorance of what a stop list is.
Secondly, the quality of the barbecue, as well as the size, leave much to be desired.
Shish kebab along with small bones and veins that are not chewed. (In the photo)
Uzbek dumplings are just a boiled piece of dough in a puddle. (Also in the photo)
The tortilla is cold, not from normal dough, but from something crumbly.
But the interior is promising.
One of the worst establishments in Samarkand.
It will be tastier, cheaper and safer to eat at the market.
The photos match. The food is delicious. The tea is good. The toilets are girls on the right, boys on there. Different sides of the hall from the entrance. There is no alcohol. Live music. A comfortable place. The price is 1200rubles for two people without fanaticism.
The advantage is only the interior and design of the restaurant. We are very disappointed to visit this place.
There is no coffee beans, there is no coffee machine. They offer only instant. Caesar salad is very greasy, it feels like the whole pack of mayonnaise is being poured out.
There are no Oriental sweets either.
Only cheesecake(
We ordered baked fish. Brought with hair(
My appetite is gone. They got up and left.

Recently we visited Afrosiyob cafe and tasted lagman, fruit tea and brain bones on coals. Lagman was pleasantly surprised by the rich taste with the perfect combination of spices, tender meat, with perfect noodles and fresh vegetables. The fruit tea was a great accompaniment, it was refreshing and slightly sweet thanks to the natural fruits. The marrow bones on the coals are simply delicious, with a delicate texture and smoky aroma. We recommend Afrosiyob to explore Uzbek cuisine!
A wonderful restaurant! One of the best in the old city of Samarkand. If you sit on the veranda, you will have a view of the Bibi Khanum Mosque, towering over the modern city, and the city market. The view is unique. The restaurant itself is located on the territory of the ancient city of Afrasiab, which was here before Alexander the Great founded Marakanda (the original Samarkand). All this creates a special atmosphere.
The restaurant has cozy beds, beautiful carved columns and beautiful views. The food is good, although there is not everything on the menu. They cook well, but it also happens to be tastier (for example, in a Plane tree). However, the prices here are not high at all — you can eat well for 100-150 sums ($ 7-10).
In addition, there are several historical sites within walking distance from this place: Afrosiab, Holy Khizr, Shah Izinda, the market and Bibi Khanum.
In general, I fell in love with this place, and I hope you will like it too.
An awesome place with a colorful design, the kitchen is simply a masterpiece. Such a beautiful, cozy and peaceful place with excellent service and very tasty cuisine. The price and quality are super👍
I recommend you to visit. It's beautiful, sooo tasty and not expensive. Shish kebab 23000 soums, Shurpa is the tastiest, not greasy. About 1000 rubles were paid for dinner for two. A lot of locals is an indicator of good cuisine.
Great place, delicious, service is fast, clean (except for the toilet, but this is a problem everywhere). We were on New Year's holidays - the interior was very well additionally decorated. You can order half a serving of large dishes.
The place is nice and calm. You can take a break from walking. The prices are normal. There is not much variety in the menu.

One of my favorite places in Samarkand. The service is lame, of course, but it's like everywhere else. But it's very tasty and the design is amazing. It is very spacious and cozy at the same time. I advise both tourists and locales
The food is normal. Barbecue for 4. There are a lot of meat dishes and lamb and beef and chicken. The staff is nimble, helpful, friendly, but not all young waiters communicate well enough in Russian - they have to resort to the help of their elders. The atmosphere is pleasant, although the room is not very cozy because of the huge areas. The toilet is decent, which is a rarity for Uzbekistan and even Samarkand - many cafes /restaurants even in the very center near the Rijistan Square do not have a toilet - one for 10 pieces in the entire district. The waiting time is surprisingly short - but this seems to be typical for Uzbekistan.
The place is good, but the cubicles in the women's restroom are very small. You need to sit on the toilet, leaving the door open. The waiters also have to wait a long time until they come and take the order.
Everything was good overall. But the corn on the grill ruined everything. She frankly smelled of kerosene for ignition. To our claim, we received in response the same 3 pieces of corn, maybe a little less, smelly. Have you washed it???
Shish kebab is generally delicious, but hard pieces may get caught, rolls are tender. I liked the eggplant salad, the chocolate cake is also very good. The only negative is that half of the order was taken away when I went out to talk on the phone and nothing was refunded, arguing that they thought I had left. Although the bill was not paid. After returning, they promised to bring what they took, but apparently forgot while serving the banquet. The atmosphere is pleasant, there were few people and in the evening there was a performance of the singer
There is no beef, they are deceiving that everything is over
And beef is not even on the menu 😅I ordered chicken , too , there is nothing to talk about
I'm definitely not coming to this place yet
And I won 't recommend it 😄😎
Whenever I drove by, I wanted to visit this place and recently celebrated my Uncle's birthday and this place struck me with its wonderful atmosphere, I advise everyone to visit this place in the evening, because there is such a beautiful evening view, you can watch the sunset, clean air of pine trees and fir trees, a pleasant breeze and the sound of fountains, your evening is sure it will be 100% successful %
They were in June 2023.
I do not recommend it! Everything is bad.
The interior is very cozy and stylish and this is the only advantage of this institution.
We waited for the waiter for 15-20 minutes until he came to us and took the order. They even tried to somehow attract attention, but in vain. We made an order from the menu, where half of the dishes were on the stop list, after 20 minutes another waiter came up and said that 70% of our order was missing. Among other things, the meat was a dish of lamb ribs, but they brought us practically bare bones with the remains of burnt meat. It is impossible to eat, and there is nothing. There was a piece of plastic bag in the vegetable salad... They did not finish the dishes. To say that the service and taste of the dishes are not very good is to praise this institution. They did not swear, so as not to spoil the already spoiled mood at all. They paid, got up and left hungry.
Everything is mediocre. Zero customer orientation - you wait a long time for the waiter, you wait a long time for the order, you wait a long time for the calculation. The food is average. It is not worth advising.
The order cannot be accepted for 15-20 minutes. We have been waiting for an order for a very long time, in addition, the glass was sticky and dirty. Well, what a lack of respect for Local customers!
A great place to eat delicious food and enjoy the view of the old town. Unfortunately
, the only disadvantage is the restroom, the stall is very cramped and if you close the door to the stall, do not be surprised if it turns out to be in your nose.
And so the cuisine is very diverse and delicious. I definitely recommend to try the soup Gouzha.
I will definitely come back again.
Prosperity to the institution
The restaurant does not match the description, not all items are on the menu, a lot of dishes are not cooked, alcoholic beverages are not on the menu, the furniture is old, the service is 3
If you are nearby and hungry, this is definitely the best place in the area. I wouldn't go on purpose, but if you're here, don't look for another one. This is the fifth catering establishment that I have visited in the district and the first one after which there is no deep disappointment.
The interior is very good (4+/5- ).
The menu is more or less varied. Of the minuses, many main dishes by weight and less than 0.5 kg are not offered. That's a lot for one person.
The service is better than standard. And it's even good. I must say right away that in general, the service in restaurants in Uzbekistan is lame. There was a review here that no one rushed to serve. Yes, it happens. We have to lure the waiters. I didn't have to do it here. He came and did everything quickly. I was clearing the table. I didn't mess with the check. Well done.
It's not a fact that it will be the same with your waiter).
The food - the salad was made of oak tomatoes, the kebabs - excellent, the chakka - good, I liked it. Everything is decorated. The portions are normal.
The prices are good. 18,000 - kebabs, 16 - salad, 10 chakka.
The restroom is a guard. Urgently repair and call a plumber.
It was daytime, it was free. I don't know how it was in the evening.
I'll be right there, I'll go eat here.
The music is very loud, it is impossible even to place an order. The waiter did not come to take the order for a long time. The food doesn't deserve attention.
A great place, a must-visit!
The atmospheric
location is wonderful
Beautiful interior
Service for 5+
Be sure to take a leg/ neck.
The kebab is surprisingly not very good
The prices are very pleasant
It's a very nice place. Delicious dishes. Places must be booked in advance. Overall, the pleasant environment is clean and tidy. Beautiful serving of dishes. I liked everything very much.
Location:The place is conveniently located overlooking Samarkand. We had dinner in the evening at 19-20:00. The hall inside was filled, so we went outside. It was getting chilly in the evening, the waiters provided a blanket.
Food: Kebabs are very tasty
Even 3 stars are a lot. Just a tourist restaurant. It's not tasty, the serving is terrible, we waited more than an hour. It's all the fault of two buses of Chinese tourists and they just forgot about us. No and no.
Shashlikuz is located here.
The most favorite food in Samarkand: always delicious, excellent service. It is clear that professional restaurateurs are engaged in the place. When we first arrived, we asked the taxi driver where the most delicious barbecue was. I recommended the barbecue uz and we have been living here for 2 months now, we constantly go there and order home)) Free shipping
We visited ShashlikUZ.
10/10 service (quickly, sensitively, they allowed us to eat the strawberries we brought with us, while washing them and putting them on a plate).
The institution specializes in kebabs, which becomes clear not only by the name of the place, but also by the menu (here you will find nothing but kebabs among the main dishes, there is no pilaf / manta. But a wide variety of kebabs, salads and several soups)
Kitchen 9/10 (delicious salads, fresh vegetables, gorgeous display of meat in the window, I want to buy and try everything at once, actually we did so) -1 point is removed only for a slightly over-dried beef kebab, the rest was super.
There is no alcohol (at all).
The interior is excellent, two large halls inside and a large veranda (unfortunately did not work during our visit due to renovation)
I recommend you to visit.
The food is normal, we took French fries, mastava, cutlet with cheese. Mastava was so-so... just water with spices. The fries are tough, there is enough cheese in the cutlet, but you still need to get to it. They also took a shurpa. The shurpa was delicious.
