Let's start with the cons. The place where the buffet needs to be more careful to take plates for food, several times we got on plates with stains and mugs.
Rooms. On the day of arrival and check-in, we were upset about the preparation of the room. You come in, one of the beds with a stain on the duvet cover and all the mirrored surfaces are stained, as well as the towels from the set two were stained and the bathroom with a crack. It can be seen that the room is already worn out, the TV is intermittent. Wi-Fi is some kind of mockery, eternal confirmation and reconnection.
Among the advantages, a variety of food, meat, soups, a lot of pastries, desserts, vegetables, both raw and baked and fried, are always on the buffet. Fruits are not a strong variety, but there is. Of the minuses, there are few fish. There is also a food court with food, which is completely good.
There is an entertainment program in the evenings for children and later for adults. Yoga and aqua aerobics take place in the afternoon (which of course) . There is also a gym on site. Several pools for adults and children. But as for me, they close quickly at about 18-30 - 19:00.
In general, if it were not for the cleaning of the rooms, I would describe a vacation on the 4th.

The rest are solid disadvantages. There is dirt in the room, the bed is stained and with extraneous hair (they shot a video, do not attach it here). For a child over two years old, you have to knock towels into the bathroom. The territory is sparse, in the afternoon after sunset you can only stay in the lobby and there is not even music here. Everything is patched up, the curtains have never seen washing powder, they are shabby. Check-in takes place later than the specified time. Sinks in public places are clogged. In the dining room, the plates are dirty, straight with greasy spots.
We couldn't stand it here for a day, we're changing the hotel. The staff is trying to pull out, the beer is bottled, the desserts are delicious, but collectively it's a three.

A wonderful hotel for a relaxing family holiday: the food is delicious, cleanliness is everywhere, the staff knows Russian and is very polite to the guests, the beach is well maintained, the entrance to the sea is 3 km, but there is a pier from which you can dive. The food is good! The people as a whole are Germans and Poles, and there are Russians too. But they changed the safe for us 6 days out of 10 (every day they accepted applications and pretended that they were looking for something. The guide is good, but he will be interested in you only if you buy a tour, we did not buy it. I didn't find any Russian girl at the reception in 10 days. Please note that there is no sea there. The hotel is like a horseshoe , but it is still very windy . I was only interested in swimming pools, so it's not a minus. We were guests of this hotel from 11/15.23 to 11/22.23 the staff is excellent, the staff, almost all, speak Russian well, there is an interpreter in case of difficult questions. The food is good and varied, cleaning every day, no comments. The only disadvantage is the location, far from the city, there is nowhere to walk except on the territory of the hotel, but this was not critical for us.

I rested from 27.06 to 06.07. The food is normal, you will not stay hungry: beef, chicken, fish. Vegetables, salads, French fries, rice, spaghetti. There are pool bars where drinks and ice cream are served from 12 to 16. I won't say anything about alcohol, I don't drink. Soft drinks include cola, juices, tea. Delicious pastries. Soups are just broth with vegetables. There is also a bar near the beach, people took beer and some cocktails.
The staff doesn't speak much Russian. The air conditioner broke down 2 times, but it was done, everything is OK. Cleaning is bad... Floors are not washed, towels are changed. There is a kettle in the room, tea, sugar, there was no coffee. And the most unpleasant thing that killed 2 days before departure... A huge COCKROACH ran out.... See 7... I brought it to the reception, came to the room, like they treated only the bathroom around the perimeter with me, although the cockroach ran out from under the bed... The room is damaged, there are cracks everywhere, on the tiles of the walls, on the floor, the sink. In general, if it were not for this animal, the score would be higher. I'm definitely not going here a second time.

We are having a rest in early September) a great hotel. All positive reviews are correct). The food is almost round the clock. Late dinner until 00.00 early breakfast from 05 am. The food is delicious - chicken, fish, beef, lots of vegetables. Fruits include grapefruits, melons, grapes, apples, pears, delicious mangoes, dates. Alcohol was taken in the dutik. My husband said the beer was delicious. Three excellent pools, one of them with sea water. The only thing that was unpleasant was the low tide... so the sea was only available early in the morning... but there is a pier…

Heated pools for children and adults! We had a rest from November 15th to 26th, it was already two cloudy days and it was cool, we swam in the pool! The territory is 5, very well maintained! Herons walk. There are fish, we saw a stingray and a sea rooster. The hotel has several shops and a pharmacy, everything you need can be bought. The pharmacy can bring the necessary medicine or its Egyptian equivalent if you need some medicine that is not imported to Russia. In my opinion, the weak point of the hotel is children's animation. There is only a mini disco, but a weak one, 5 songs with an animator and that's it. And then the animator will come, then he won't come. The children are gathering, waiting, but no one has come. The students will probably be bored at the hotel.

It's clean, the rooms are cleaned every day. The food is varied and very tasty. Volleyball, tennis, Pilates, aqua aerobics, evening program - I did not have to be bored.
Of the cons: a bad entrance to the sea, but we enjoyed the descent from the pier perfectly. As well as cool pools - but for me personally in August it played a plus, it is perfectly refreshing :)

There was no ironing board or iron in the room. I asked 2 times and only then they brought it. The pool is clean, it was carefully cleaned every day. The location is far from other hotels and a 40-minute taxi ride from Hurghada. The sea is clear, there are few people. This is definitely a plus. The territory was guarded. The beach is a five-minute walk from the room. Towels were given out and changed daily. The territory is very well maintained, lawn, shrubs, flowers, palm trees, everything was watered. You can play billiards on site, for a fee. There is a net stretched on the beach, and those who wish played beach volleyball. The entry into the sea is long, very shallow. Sand with dead coral. I saw in the comments that people are unhappy with the ebb....Well, this is a natural phenomenon, how can the staff fix it??? In order for tourists not to "break off", a pier was built especially for us. Go and swim, even if the tide is low! They also wrote about old furniture - it's more vintage than old. Bottom line: it was delicious, clean, and comfortable for me. And if you really want to find something to complain about, you can easily do it.

We had a rest for the November holidays of 2022, we really liked everything! Restaurants, food, service. The most important thing is the sea, the beach! The rooms are not exactly perfect- average, but they were always cleanly cleaned, towels were changed every day. About 50 km from Hurghada airport is not close. But there were free study trips to the center of Hurghada, walked along the embankment, went to the shops, etc. I will definitely go to this hotel if possible. I recommend it for a quiet, relaxing holiday. It's very boring for children, there is no animation, but for adults it's the best! The guys are trying very hard! Russians are ho-ro-sho!

We had a rest in April 2023. 90% of Germans are in the hotel, the rest are Italy, Portugal, Poland, Montenegro, France, many Arabs came after Ramadan. The food is good, the menu is often repetitive but delicious. Animation every day is something new: Disco at the hotel from 23 to 24, show programs every day (karaoke, torch show, dance show). In 8 days, there was a concert with the singer twice and after 2 days the man sang. A foam party in the pool, though it was in the afternoon. Every day aerobics in the pool, volleyball on the beach, yoga. The sea is shallow, of course, the tides are very strong, but you can swim from the pier, there is a reef but small, you can see the fish. Food from 7 am to 23 pm, I especially liked that there is a late dinner from 22 to 23, you can come to the restaurant and eat if you are hungry. The local alcohol is good. The bars on the beach and by the pool are excellent, ice cream, fresh drinks every day, pepsi, Fanta, Cola, beer, cocktails... On the foodcord beach you can eat fries, burgers, salads. We rested for 11 days at the Amwaj beach club Abu Soma hotel, the hotel is located 50 km from Hurghada, in the desert, there are no hotels nearby. If you bought an Egyptian SIM card, you can use the Uber taxi app.We arrived at the hotel ahead of check-in time, left our things at the reception, provided bracelets without questions and advised us to go to a restaurant for lunch and check in after lunch, there were 5 of us (2 adults + 3 children (16 years, 9 years and a small 9 months), rooms on request (no problem) were provided nearby (nothing they paid extra).
The rooms are clean, they clean well, the furniture is old, but this does not bother, but the doors, especially the locks, I think, need to be changed already, the doors do not open well, the cards (keys) are constantly demagnetized, the rooms have everything you need: in the bathroom: soap, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, safe (in the closet), kettle, mugs, glasses, (water, tea, sugar, coffee) refrigerator. I often hung a sign on the door (Do not disturb), water and all necessary accessories, on request, were provided without problems by the man who cleaned the rooms. The rooms are cleaned cleanly!
Wi-fi, to our great regret (((, does NOT work in the rooms!
The food is very tasty and varied: squid, fish, beef, pasta, pastries (different pizzas, sweet tortillas), there is even a menu for proper nutrition (healthy lifestyle), very tasty alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails (various)!
All the staff clearly does their job, everyone is very polite!
I would like to mention the animators separately-YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! We organized: exercises, darts, yoga, stretching, various shows, contests, played the saxophone, danced, sang, played water polo, volleyball with everyone. We entertained not only adults, but also children! It is because of you and all the staff at the hotel that I want to return to the Amwaj hotel!!!
The sea is very beautiful and clean, constant tides, very shallow, but you can swim normally from the pontoon.
Excursions were ordered on the website - Albatros Travel Egypt (choose an excursion, click book and go to any messenger, where everything is described and told in detail, you can transfer money in rubles to a Russian card (very convenient), much cheaper and everything is clear (a Russian-speaking guide accompanies you on the road)!

I was in Egypt for the first time, I chose the hotel carefully, after reading various reviews I thought to change the layout, and then I came across this oasis, in other words you can not name it. The reviews were good, but I will tell you that I would give 100% to this hotel. The food is above all praise, with a wonderful view of the sea. Variety for every taste. The animation is good, they even took me to a disco (safe). If you go with children, then it's a little weak for them here (we were pleased because we wanted to lie on the pool not under the screams of the kids). If you want to see the fish, then you need to walk a little along the pier, it didn't bother me. I've been so happy with this hotel for so long that I haven't even found a single minus. I had a rest at this hotel in May, I got a room on the 3rd floor with Windows at the reception and there was noise day and night! Everything in the room is very dilapidated and in need of repair, the cleaning is mediocre, the dust is all around, the food is so-so, but you won't stay hungry, the biggest disappointment is the sea ((( it's knee-deep there, so you can swim you need to walk 300 meters((((

I was at this hotel from May 24th to 30th, 2023. I bought a ticket for 58.100 on an Anex tour along with the flight. The hotel is all inclusive. Food, drinks, ice cream, beach towels. The room is cleaned every day. Wi-Fi is available in all areas except the beach. The beach is sand, the first line. Everything is clean and beautiful. The staff is above all praise, respectful, hardworking, no one allows themselves any attacks, domagivaniy, etc. pools as in the photo, of different depths. I definitely recommend it.

I liked the rooms, although not completely new, everything is relaxing around, there are 3 different pools, coffee is great coffee (I drink espresso ), alcohol is so-so, if only the wine is dry red, like homemade young. In general, I liked everything, the food was different, fresh and delicious, fruits, oranges, dates, bananas were served and watermelon, melon, checks, the chefs were superbly polite, and the morning croissants and tortillas that the woman cooked were. Bartenders are a little harmful, maybe the condemnation that a girl drinks a cocktail on the beach in the heat, I don't drink at all, only water, and when you ask for lemon or lime with mint, they did a favor and discontent, and I'm not the only one who saw this attitude, you still need to watch, they can put everything with their hands not with tongs, and the glass is not clean to give. In general, apart from the bartenders who are always dissatisfied, tired and waiting for tips from everyone, everything is probably great and excellent, I am happy with my vacation, I would go again.
