A good place for tourists, of course there is little territory to show, everything else is being dug up. And of course there is a lot of excess around that interrupts the historical value (these are taxi drivers, electric trolleys, there will be, etc.)
Impressive! It is advisable to book an excursion with a museum guide. There are no places to relax and cafes inside. The exhibitions are very interesting.
A very ancient and beautiful place, monumental walls! Gorgeous photos are coming out! I've been here a few times, but I'll come again! An atmospheric place!

A beautiful citadel, inside the feeling of something ancient and great. An interesting tour and impressive views of the city from above
Unlike other attractions in Bukhara, it does not convince. Only a small part of the complex has been restored, the expositions are of little interest, the exposition on the natural history of the region looks illogical here. The vast majority of the territory is either souvenir stalls or photo exhibitions. It looks strange and boring against the background of the stunning ensembles of Old Bukhara
A large historical territory, surrounded by powerful walls, inside which there is a hill.
It resembles the old town.
There are many historical and architectural monuments inside, souvenirs are sold.
A monumental place!
There are several museum halls inside.
I wonder how long it will take before they begin to restore the rest of the Arch, which is closed to the public.
Walls are being built in crumbling places, and probably someday the closed part will begin to be restored. Is there a plan for how things used to be there!? I would like to see how it was and how they plan to do it.
The beauty is incomparable, I want to visit Bukhara as often as possible. The ancient city, its grandeur, charm, beauty, as if it had visited the ancient world. I'm thrilled.
There is absolutely nothing to do here, if you are not a fan of museums and ancient exhibits, we turned out to be different.
You just walk from room to room, looking at the exhibits. There is absolutely no beautiful view, it is absolutely not worth the paid entrance.
A landmark, historical place! It's like diving into ancient times, the power and size of the fortress are very impressive, they were built for centuries, pay attention to the main gate, the tree is clearly more than seven centuries old! Be sure to visit this masterpiece!
A powerful strengthening even by the standards of today. We walked around and were impressed. They didn't go inside. Anyway, a small part has been restored there, and a lot of money is being charged for entry from tourists. Engineer Shukhov's water tower opposite the Arch is beautiful, preserved from the old days.
The place is interesting only if you are an archaeologist. There is not much to see for an ordinary tourist. There are few open spaces and they are basically the same
The fortress remains quite impressive to this day, it's just a pity that the wall is half destroyed on one side, the entrance is paid, but it's worth going in, you can visit many corners of the fortress, including sitting on the throne
Very unusual. Diverse cuisine. Live music. Colorful national dances. I especially liked the fashion show, which featured both collections in the national style and European models.

A very interesting complex, themed museums alternate with observation platforms. Everywhere you can sit, relax, look around.

It's a very cool place, especially the view from above of the city and the two camels who live there, you can take a photo with them. There are several museums on the territory that are worth visiting.

A beautiful place in the old city of Bukhara. To inspect the museum part, you need to take a guide.
It is good to come in the evening when it is not so hot anymore and there is an opportunity to admire the beauty of Bukhara in the sunset rays.
The citadel looks majestic, and it is difficult to imagine how it was built without the use of large construction equipment. Manual labor. A majestic building that has been around for many centuries
The walls of the fortress are admired for their greatness. The most ancient part of the city. Omar Khayyam and Avicenna worked outside the walls of the fortress. Now there are several small museums on the territory, their visit is included in the total cost of admission to the fortress. But for some reason, only two worked, the rest were locked. Huge Bukhara samovars are remembered in one of the museums. Also on the territory there is a Juma mosque, a rather simple one, a throne room, a stable yard.
Be sure to go inside and bypass the fortress from the outside. The locals will tell you about the tricks of the comrades. Frunze. It's quite informative.
If the toad does not strangle, then I would recommend taking an electric rickshaw for an hour. We traded for 150,000 against 200,000.
And they were not mistaken. The guy knows his stuff.
A beautiful place! But, unfortunately, most of the fortress is closed for restoration. Definitely worth a visit! Several museums inside are quite interesting. And the views from the fortress are great!
Incomprehensible lauded reviews! 08/28.23 the price is 40,000c but there you will walk in a small patch and not be allowed anywhere, several rooms for a museum and flea market shops, for which 40,000 is not clear?! You won't see anything there except a few museums and a couple of shops, I don't recommend it at all!!!
Approximately 1/5 of it is available for inspection. There are several small museums on the territory. The entrance for foreigners is 25 thousand soums, for locals, I think, in the region of 3 thousand. A good view of the fortress opens from the water tower, which is also an observation deck across the street from the entrance to the fortress. If you are not interested in biology (there are stuffed animals), various archaeological finds, then you can get an idea of the fortress from the observation deck. The structures on the territory of the fortress are very simple, with almost no decorations.
An interesting-looking fortress! You can go inside for a nominal fee - there is an exhibition and souvenir shops. It is a pity that only a small part of the total area has been restored.
Impressive! And since we took a guide and we were lucky with him!!then everyone was very pleased with the tour and the inspection of the fortress itself!!!
