A fortress with massive walls and gates, inside separate courtyards and houses as it should be in a fortress, is worth visiting more than once. There is some special energy here.
The most beautiful view of the old town, especially if you go to the excavation site. In general, the most concentrated set of "antiquities" than in the citadel is not found in all of Central Asia
A place with a rich history from ancient times. The story of Siyavush, according to legend, who created the city of Bukhara, as well as the times of the Bukhara Khanate and the Bukhara Emirate. The city revered by all Muslims of the world is the birthplace of Imam Al Bukhari , who collected hadith , the adventures of the Prophet Muhammad in the holy book. The city that once stood on the Silk Road from where caravans came, with astrakhan, cotton, etc. to all directions of the world.
The walls look epic from below, there is a hill inside, a good view of the neighboring madrassas. Entrance for citizens not from Uzbekistan, 50,000. I count a lot
This is the heart of Bukhara. It is pointless to write about this historical place, you can read it on the Internet. We agreed with a local guide and he made an individual tour.
The most ancient monument of Bukhara. 12th century. Worth a visit

An ancient fortress. The Winter Palace of the Emir. It is a pity that there is little left of the expositions now from what we saw in childhood. To be in Bukhara and not visit the Ark means not to see anything.
A large historical complex. Being in Bukhara, I definitely recommend visiting. If possible, take a guide, because there is something to see, but without expert comments, the effect is no more than 50%. I listened to the groups with guides who were nearby: they tell very interesting stories, combining local tales with historical facts.))
A very small part is available for viewing. It would be possible to arrange a route according to the price - 40 thousand soums for an adult foreign citizen. The passage is organized like in a bazaar: loud aunts, non-working turnstiles. The entire territory of the fortress is filled with stalls with ordinary souvenirs.
There are information stands, but there are not enough of them, so either look for information yourself, or a guide (there is an audio guide)
The fortress is large, but the tourist area is small.
The local took me to the excavations, the view from there is gorgeous. That's why I liked everything)
I don't know, the last time I visited, it seemed that the area of the Arch had decreased. The most valuable thing is people. Bukharians are wonderful and kind people.
From the walls of the citadel there are excellent views of Bukhara, especially if you get to the eastern part of the wall. Excellent shots are obtained to the Shukhov tower and back.
Interesting expositions. If you manage to negotiate and get into the closed part of the citadel for a small fee, you will have a great view of the historical center
A pleasant place. Delicious.Live music. The violin is very appropriate

Five for cleanliness and for the appearance of the citadel as well as the age of the structure, it is very convenient to tell visually and see how everything was arranged in ancient times. There are several thematic museums such as the museum of ammunition and coins
They promised a beautiful panorama, but there you have to pay separately for the paw of the guard! When they came to the checkout and asked, "What's your name?" We were told that there are more expensive tickets, but we do not sell them. There is nothing to see here! All more or less interesting places are blocked by a FENCE!!! They allegedly have excavations there and therefore everything is tightly closed. In general, this fortress is the biggest disappointment!!!
Everything is great and the museum and the view of the city and the electric cars around. It is necessary to improve the toilet, it is unclear where the female is, where the male is
