In Tashkent for the second time, the locals advised to visit this place. It was an impressive start, as there were a lot of people. It means that they cook delicious food. I ordered a wedding pilaf (as the locals say that Osh). Excuse me Uzbeks, but I will be honest. Apparently, the meat in the pilaf is not castrated bull or adult sheep, the taste and smell are specific (in general, I did not like it). As for the rice in the pilaf, it was probably cooked about three hours before my order, it feels like the rice has already settled. Apparently, you need to keep track of the opening time of the cauldrons in order to taste the freshest pilaf. The situation was saved by the Greek salad, the ingredients in the salad are fresh👍 after all, Tashkent is a city of fresh vegetables and fruits. Regarding tea: they drink mostly green tea here, my blood pressure is low all the way and I asked to make tea with milk, it just so happens that in Kazakhstan they drink mostly tea with milk. To which the waitress patted her eyes and brought two teapots of tea, one green and the other black tea. I had to drink black. By the way, I explained myself in Kazakh and sign language, since Russian has left the chat, I do not understand Uzbek. The bill was not brought, as well as the menu, payment at the checkout, they said 94,000 soums came out - about 9 bucks. It's not that cheap per person. Paying in cash is out of the question. Oh, how Uzbeks miss Kaspi gold. Summarizing the above; in general, the place is not bad and, in parting words, I advise tourists to find out the opening time of the cauldrons in order to try fresh pilaf and get ready to taste meat with a specific smell and taste, I'm kidding :) maybe they like that here.
During rush hour or lunchtime, of course, it's just a crush. There is no dispute about tastes, but for me this is not the best pilaf in Tashkent. Or I got on the leftovers and it was all very greasy. I would also like to diversify the menu and see pilaf with beef and without chicken. If you are a tourist destination, then it is not difficult to suggest that not everyone likes the smell and taste of mutton, much less chicken.
Clean, food is brought quickly, and the interior is decent (although it's just a dining room). Well, the most important thing is pilaf - it was my first pilaf in Tashkent, a month later it remained the most delicious in the city. For sure, the locals will say that I have not been to other best places.
Delicious! Pilaf is cooked right there on firewood in huge cauldrons. Nearby there are tandoori where tortillas are baked. Immediately warm and served. Pilaf can be supplemented with dolma or egg or other additives.
Tasty, relatively inexpensive, we sat for 8 people and the bill came out not even 400k, so it's definitely worth a visit there.
The pilaf is delicious, but I would say average, not straight wow, and yes, there are no dishes other than pilaf, so take this into account before going there.
Excellent national types of pilaf and most importantly very TASTY, you will definitely not regret coming , the food is brought quickly, friendly waiters!
We were in October 2022, we hit the most tourist peak, we were in the afternoon and there were a huge number of people. Despite this, we were seated at a table and served quickly enough. We ordered a wedding pilaf, a complex portion on the menu, everything is very tasty and not expensive. Prices in Uzbekistan, in principle, are not high everywhere, so here, too, the price corresponded to prices in the country. The atmosphere is impressive, but because of the crowd, the impression is a little blurred. In the end, you get used to it and don't pay attention to it. I liked everything.
Awesome))))
Pilaf top!
Top service!
Tea in the mess top)))
It's not like that on the TV tower, it's better here!
It is advisable to come to dinner when there is a "special pilaf" on the menu!
P.S I have been living in Tashkent for 32 years, I discovered this wonderful place a week ago!
The food is excellent, although it is noticeable that it is made on the stream and these are often inferior in taste to small cozy teahouses. The interior looks more like a coffee shop than a restaurant of national cuisine.
I love this place for the most delicious pilaf, fast service and beautiful interior, you can safely bring a girl on a date, as well as foreigners. About 200 kg of pilaf is made per day, I really like light pilaf - wedding, it is the most dietary
The pilaf is very tasty, especially with olive oil, the staff is friendly and prompt. The hall is large and spacious, the seating is comfortable. The prices are acceptable)
A great place to enjoy pilaf and see how this wonderful dish is made. There were three of them. It took a while, but we found a table. Reasonable prices. The additives are delicious. We were very satisfied
The food is delicious, the pilaf is cooked amazingly delicious. The service is excellent, but not like in restaurants). The atmosphere is peculiar. The waiting time is 6-12 minutes.
A good soup Center, according to data the name of the family soup center was five pots because of the number of pots, but the number of POTS was increased from the increase in food for soup to nine. Tea Room, wedding, and can be seen eating special olive-creamy soups.
The place is beautiful, photogenic, but there is no service, the waiter did not come to take the order for a long time, the pilaf was brought cold, while the pilaf was being carried even colder. Since the pilaf was cold, they did not understand the taste, it is unpleasant to see such an attitude towards the guests. Table number 197.
4 floors , the first 2- pilaf, 3rd and 4th floor Turkish kitchen, cook pilaf in front of your eyes, fast delivery, charge over the check 12% for service
Service delivery is all good, you don't expect your order for a long time, everything comes at once, although there are always a lot of people. I bet 5, but if there were more I would bet even more.
