The most interesting museum I've ever been to.😌 What a talented Salvador Dali was! Sculptures, paintings, performances, jewelry inspire me, and it's very brave for that time. I can imagine what kind of receptions and parties he held in his house, which is now a museum. 100% recommended visit!

I traveled from Salou. Figueres (the town where the museum is located) is ~ 230 km away along the "headscarf", a little more (but more picturesque) along the coast. Both roads are good. I recommend visiting the museum. By the way, Andora is not far from there~ 150 km.

We came to Figueres specifically to visit the Dali Museum. She has been a fan of his since her youth. We spent several hours there. I was impressed for a long time. Each exhibit told us something about Salvador Dali. He invented it himself, he created it himself, he rests there.

The first time I visited this iconic place was in 2011, with a tour of the Theater-Museum and the Castle of Pubol. Since that time, I have had unforgettable impressions. Therefore, being in Spain in April 2024, I decided to definitely drive to Figueres and go to the Theater Museum. I lived in a hotel in Santa Susanna, from which there is a direct train to Figueres. Travel time is 1 hour and 40 minutes. When I reached the place, I quickly got my bearings and headed towards the museum, along the way I was helped by signs. Since, for obvious reasons, I could not buy an entrance ticket online, I had to stand in a 15-minute queue at the ticket office. There were only tickets left for the 17.00 session, and I bought them. Since the museum closes at 6 p.m., I realized that there would not be enough time to walk around calmly and plunge into the atmosphere, installations, paintings of the great hoaxer. Therefore, I walked through all the halls as quickly as possible, staying where I had planned in advance. At 17.50, the museum's caretakers began to crowd visitors to the exit, blocking the entrances to the halls with works. Nevertheless, souvenir shops were open after 6 p.m., until the last visitor left. I think it's disrespectful to tourists to expel them from the museum without letting them see the rest of the exposition. Spaniards do not recycle at all - this applies to absolutely everything: banks, shops, museums... They open late, close early, and even a siesta :)) It's good that the museum is not closed for siesta!! :) Despite these small inconveniences, I enjoyed visiting the museum immensely. But if I hadn't been there before, hadn't read books about the work and life of Dali and Gala, I certainly wouldn't have had enough time to visit. And who are the main visitors of the museum out of season?? Groups of Spanish schoolchildren! They went on organized excursions in an endless stream.

I can't describe it in words! Parking is no problem. A Great Master lived here! The joker! Revolutionary! ["Not only the theater-museum, but also the burial place of Salvador Dali himself. The grave is located at the end of a U-shaped black hall with gold products behind a marble slab on the wall. Judging by the layout of the basement rooms, the grave overlooks the back wall of the women's toilet, as Dali bequeathed. I'm sorry for such a detail, but it may be useful in finding either one or the other)"].

Recording by time. They share the streams of visitors. A lot of information about the life and work of Dali. There are many works and installations. There is a cafe with democratic prices nearby in the courtyard. There is an additional jewelry exhibition in the building. Parking is a problem because in the city center, you have to look, there are a lot of small parking lots in nearby houses.

We have already visited it 3 times. I recommend buying tickets in advance through the museum's website. The visit began at 17.00, when the group tourists had already left, which allowed them to fully enjoy themselves without the crowd.

I came to this place for the third time, although I am not a fan of modern art, but this is something special. No words can describe what you feel in the walls of this museum. You need to feel it, you will not remain indifferent, be sure to visit. We arrived an hour and a half before closing, there were almost no visitors, no one interfered, of course, there was little time, but you are in an almost empty museum...

The museum is very good. The magnificent works of S. Dali are presented. Interesting compositions, but it is advisable to visit the museum with a guide, although this is allowed only in a few halls, which is very bad. I liked the museum, although I am not a fan of this artist.

Interesting, colorful, unusual! And both outside and inside. It is better to visit the museum accompanied by a guide who introduces in detail the biography and work of S. Dali. The contents of many expositions are so unusual for our perception that you begin to understand them only after the guide's comment. At every turn, another masterpiece awaits you-a surprise. It is worth visiting it, as well as the cozy and beautiful town of Figueres, where this interesting place is located.

Judging by the layout of the basement rooms, the grave overlooks the back wall of the women's toilet, as Dali bequeathed. I'm sorry for such detail, but it may be useful in finding either one or the other). Inside the black Cadillac, standing directly under the center of the dome, you can look through the passenger window of the front passenger. There are a lot of paintings, but there are sculptures, furniture, personal belongings of the artist. What I read in The Diary of a Genius is completely combined with what I saw. There is no dissonance. If you arrived on your own, then take a guide in Russian at the entrance. Don't forget to visit the jewelry room. He has a separate entrance on the corner of the building outside in the alley. The gift shop is not cheap. We had enough money for an eraser and a simple pencil for our daughter).

The Salvador Dali Theater Museum in Figueres is one of the most famous museums dedicated entirely to the life and work of the famous artist Salvador Dali. The museum is considered to be the last great work of Salvador Dali: everything in it was conceived and designed by the artist himself."Surrealism is me!" - that's what Salvador Dali said about himself. His paintings are unforgettable, beautiful, stunning, unreal and full of dreams. We've been there twice, incredibly exciting! I recommend you to visit, even if you are not a fan of the artist's work.

The Museum of Surrealism. Accompanied by a good guide, it is a useful place for general development, despite the fact that the main array of Salvador Dali's masterpieces, known all over the world, is not represented by funds, they were sold out during the artist's lifetime. Subjectively, surrealism may not be liked or liked; objectively, the museum is perfectly planned and equipped with a large number of explanatory materials in English in case you come without a guide.
