We rested with a friend in the Pyramid from 03.11 to 15.11 2021. Overall, I liked the hotel! A beach line with two pontoons and a sandy entrance to the sea. The corals are beautiful, but you need to sail away from the pontoon.There was practically no wind in the bay, once they hung a red flag for half a day.The sea is very warm in November.The territory is large, with steps in four tiers, but it did not bother us, on the contrary, it was in favor.There is animation, quite active, but we visited it a couple of times, because we mostly swam in the sea.When leaving the hotel, walking to the left you will get to the market, where you can buy a lot of useful things and souvenirs.Mango at a good price. As for food, for me, everything is fine, they are trying, but, however, they were not ready to receive so many guests, the influx is associated with the pandemic holidays.For us, the food has always been delicious, a little monotonous, that's not the main thing.There are a lot of positives and the sea is just super! Please don't believe the good reviews!!🙏🙏 We are here now. The hotel is terribly battered, unkempt, and there are a lot of abandoned objects inside. The sun beds are dilapidated, it's scary to look at the mattresses! The entrance is sandy on an abandoned beach with no infrastructure. Pantones are floating.
The main restaurant is dirty, the doors are sticky. Of the advantages, normal food and a large swimming pool.
We paid 300 thousand for 4x in a week. 5 stars were announced, in fact, one star has already been peeled off at the reception, but it feels like the hotel does not pull above three

A family with a one-year-old child came to this hotel on a burning tour in difficult times from 17.04 to 24.04. At first glance, a little tired, but they did not go to the hotel, but to the sea.
We settled in very quickly, a standard room with a sea/pool view was paid for. That's how we got room 506 in the main building. The furniture is a little tired, but the mattress and pillows are in excellent condition, the linen is clean, the towels are spotless. Maybe it's chocolate, a dollar and a smile doing their job. True, the room was above the stage where the evening show is taking place (I don't know specifically to pay extra for the premium or not), but everything was fine with us. The room has two beds (quietly connected), a mirror, a wardrobe, a hair dryer, gels and shampoo - everything you need for life is there.
There are solid advantages in food. Everything is very tasty. Meat, fish, shrimp, fresh tortillas/pizza, everything is delicious. No one was poisoned. I can't say anything about alcohol, but cola and coffee are normal, I drank with pleasure. Even after lunch, ice cream is distributed at the pool bar.
The pool is cool, large and beautiful. You quickly get used to the temperature of the water. There are enough sun beds for everyone. Towels are distributed throughout the day. I got it once with a hole.
The sea is gorgeous, the reef is beautiful and there are a lot of fish. No additional excursions are needed, you can spend the whole day without climbing out of the sea.
The staff is excellent, everyone is friendly, they do something all day, there is animation. They love children very much, they always helped.
Of the cons and inconveniences:
- You can't go to the sea with a stroller, because there are a lot of stairs, but you can get there by bus. We didn't use it.
- Bad Internet connection. They paid separately for Wi-Fi, but it sometimes worked worse than the free one. You can come in and quickly solve your business in the morning.
- there is no territory to walk around. We walked around the pool.
- repairs were taken for granted.

The hotel is under reconstruction, there are construction works, noise, dust, the smell of diesel fuel, the exits to the sea are blocked, the beach is virtually absent, access to the sea is only from the pontoon and by stairs, I do not recommend. They ask for $20 for moving to the renovated fund. The worst hotel in Egypt that we've been to in 10 years. Clearly does not pull in 5 stars, min 3.

The absence of Russians since 2014 + the pandemic has apparently had the greatest impact on large hotels in Egypt as a whole. I didn't think about it and then I really regretted it. in order about this hotel: 1) 50% of the territory is simply abandoned (buildings, withered palm trees and grass, I think there are no funds to maintain due to the lack of tourists). 2) the hotel has an entrance to the sea from a small pontoon (we went behind the fence where the abandoned territory was and swam there) and all the rest are corals, which are not allowed to walk on. where to swim in a family hotel with children is not clear (except for the pool) 3) alcohol is local and was not very popular in Egypt before, but this hotel even managed to make some kind of fake lemonade with a terrible taste. The only thing you can drink from alcohol is beer, it is poured into small plastic cups (apparently that would not end quickly) 4) They are repairing the buildings - you go out on the balcony and listen to how the puncher works, they offered to replace the room for $ 200: 1) a variety of dishes, 2) who can snorkel a large number of corals and fish will really like it. in general, I might have liked the hotel if I had paid for 3 stars, but for some reason they think they have 5 (beautiful photos of the hotel are all 10-15 years old - everything is dilapidated there) 2022 (February)

I visited this hotel in 2021, in October. I can't say anything positive. The hotel is dead, there is no food, in general, only meat and poultry are decently cooked, alcoholic beverages for those who want to stop drinking, bartenders on the beach are irritated boors and complete inadequates, there are not enough sun loungers on the beach for everyone, there is no Internet in the hotel. I am surprised that they post positive reviews about this hotel. I don't recommend it for any money.

The hotel itself is located in a dead end, you will not get to the city by bus, only by taxi (15 bucks in both directions). We arrived at the hotel at 16:30. We were settled almost immediately. We had a Premium Sea View room booked, we were given a corner room on the 2nd floor of a 2-storey building #2 with a balcony with an incomparable view of the sea! Every morning, lying in bed, we admired the sunrise!
The window in the room is panoramic. There is a thick curtain in the entire window, which we used to cover it at night. The room is renovated, the plumbing is in excellent condition. The beds are a bit shabby, but the mattresses and pillows are quite decent. There is also a refrigerator in the room: small and unfrozen for a hundred years, but we don't need much. The kettle (we got it with a broken lid, we were not asked to change it), tea, coffee, sugar, mugs. The air conditioner is normal, we hardly used it, but it blows well. What bothered me was the smell of cigarettes, which was constantly in the room... As far as I understand, it comes from a hood that runs all over the body and, by the way, makes a lot of noise all night... This is a pretty decent minus!
Also, a significant disadvantage for me is the lack of any devices for drying swimsuits and towels ... Dried on chairs standing on the balcony. This is very inconvenient!
And mosquitoes are silent evil creatures! We took a mosquito repellent spiral with us, burned it every night before going to bed, but they apparently come by the hood... Because I woke up bitten in the morning!
There are no complaints about cleaning the room: our cleaner changed towels for us almost every day, left water so that there was 1.5 liters of bottle per person, washed floors, cups. I always left $1 on the bedside table.
The territory of the hotel is almost completely put in order. There are several beaches: coconut, lime, banana.
There are pontoons on two of them, we went to the far banana - sandy beach with a sandy approach, it takes about 5 minutes to walk from the main building: if you go down from the main building, then you need to go left to the end of the hotel territory.
It's small, but it's quite decent.
At 6:00-6:30, people flock to the beach to take sun beds, and after that they go to breakfast by 7:00.

We were a family at this hotel from 29.11 to 10.12.2021. In general, a very good, but not a luxury hotel)) The rooms in the main building are tired, with battered furniture and rather ruined bathrooms. But the mattresses are really comfortable and the bed linen is new and clean. If necessary, an extra bed with a comfortable mattress is placed in the room, not a cot. We paid $ 15 extra for a normal room, at first we were given the only room in the building without a balcony. The room has a safe, a TV with a Russian TNT channel, a mini-refrigerator, a kettle with glasses and tea bags. They put 2-3 bottles of water of 1.5 liters each day. I left a dollar a day to the cleaner and had no problems with cleaning the room and changing towels.
Washing sun loungers on the beach with powder in the evening somehow did not notice)) Be careful on the beach - they can steal a towel, a fine of $ 10 for lost. We had one stolen when I left for literally 15 minutes, but we grabbed an extra card at the towel change booth, so no problem). In the main pool with slides, the water is 18-19 degrees, no one swims there, all the sun beds are free. A small heated pool by the beach, the whole party is there, there are no sun beds available after 10.00. There is also an indoor heated pool next to the SPA ($50 for 1.5 hours), but it smells strongly of chlorine, it is also free there. There is also a fairly good gym and a table tennis table with rolled rackets (it is better to bring your own).
There is no approach from the shore to the sea on all beaches, there are two pontoons with rope-fenced "pens" for bathers. But if you go to the extreme beach (where the abandoned villas are) and go outside the hotel beach and walk 30 meters to the pier where the boats are moored, then there is a cleared entrance along the sand into the sea 20 meters wide, directly opposite the wooden longboat installed on the shore. Since the hotel is built on ledges, it is necessary to descend to the sea from the main building by 30 meters. The beach is 300 m away. You will have to climb back either by stairs, or on foot along the serpentine road along the edge of the territory, or by bus, which runs every 30 minutes until 17.00 from the stop at the central beach to the entrance to the hotel. Fitness is guaranteed without a bus)))
Local strong alcohol is a rare rubbish, even in cocktails. Good cocktails (especially if you pour your duty free alcohol into them) are made by the bartender in the main dining room for lunch and dinner. The wine from the bags is red and white. Red stuff, white even more or less, but you can see the body - from two or three cups after a couple of hours, the head is like a weight (((But this is typical for Egypt, so only duty free on departure helps)). The beer is good, draught and bottled Stella. There is also a can in the lobby bar. Soda: Coca-Cola, sprite, mirinda and schweppes. Coffee from ground coffee machines, the most delicious cappuccino in the lobby bar. The food is really varied. Fruits, vegetables, herbs, side dishes, pastries, sweets. Two types of soups for lunch and dinner. Meat in different types is beef, chicken, minced beef patties. Grilled fillet and whole fish. There were seafood for dinner a couple of times - shrimp, scallops and mussels. Ice cream for lunch at the bar by the main pool. At the bar by the sea for lunch, hamburgers with a semi-finished cutlet and French fries (if you are too lazy to go upstairs). Everything is delicious and fresh.
The animation by the heated pool and in the evenings by the main pool is varied. The staff is very friendly, but they are especially happy to see you after a couple of "dirty greenbacks" of $ 1, even if it is a one-time trip)). Euro coins are not in use, they are not accepted at the reception. Free Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby and only in the absence of tourists. It's barely pulling. Paid Wi-Fi starts at $ 3 per day and there is no speed either, especially in the evenings. You can buy a SIM card for several gigs at the airport or in a shop at the hotel. They took "like 18 gigs" for $ 20, but in fact, of course, the deception, there were 5 gigs at most, ended in a week. But there was Internet throughout the hotel.
Near the hotel, 300 m away, there is a "promenade" with many different shops, everything is there. It is possible and necessary to bargain. It won't work like that in the shops at the hotel. There is no need to go to the market in the Old Town - the benefit will be covered by the cost of a round-trip taxi. The promenade is open from 13.00 to 24.00.
Be careful with the guides, especially if you arrived from the tour operator Biblio Globus! Complete buggers, especially Mohammed Asfour, who just wanted to sell excursions on the first day at the meeting. His other duties as a representative of Biblio Globus are absent in principle. As for the return flight on the eve of departure, it is better to specifically approach the guides and specifically find out which flight and what time you are departing. They don't give a damn warning, and the flight number may change, as happened with us. And their sea excursions are much more expensive than those offered on the beach and they pack full boats from several hotels. I do not advise you to take it from them, it is better to take it from the peasants on the beach. The same thing, only fewer people on the boat and 20-30% cheaper.

I gave 5 points because I know what to expect from Egypt. This is not Spain or Greece, you should not expect such a service here. We stayed at this hotel from 26.09 to 03.10 with a family of 4 people. We took a premium standard room with a sea view.
When checking in, there were not large graters because they took a room for 4 people, and there were only 2 beds!!! When asked to put up more beds, they said they would put up another one!!!!! They offered me another room of the same category, without renovation and sea view, and said that they would put 2 more beds there. But this did not suit me and I got 2 more beds in a room with a view of the sea. Conclusion the hotel has rooms with and without renovation. The food at the hotel is good for me. About food: breakfast- boiled and fried eggs, porridge made of mixed potatoes, pancakes. And as always fruits, vegetables, pickles. Delicious croissants!!! Meat for lunch and dinner (beef, mutton, chicken, even liver, slave) something similar to a cradle (I don't remember exactly what it's called). Side dishes include fries, mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, and beans. Meat is fried, stewed. With food, everything is like everywhere else. If you are used to lobsters, then you are not here. And you won't stay hungry this way. The beer is good, the rest of the alcohol is just like everywhere else in Egypt. There is a large swimming pool with a bar in the center. There is a bar on the beach.
There is a pantone for swimming, not big, but enough for everyone. If you walk further away there is a small sandy beach.

Very little fruit, after a week you already somehow eat without enthusiasm. An Indian restaurant is a profanity. There is practically no Wi-Fi, it drags like a cart to a fair. There is no real hot water - warm. It's too bad that you can smoke everywhere - on the beaches, in the rooms, by the pools. I came to get some air, someone who doesn't care about his health will spoil the air for you. There are only two approaches to the sea from pontoons, sometimes there is a stir. From the cultural program - in the evenings, a rather mediocre concert or an all-consuming children's show (adults are bored)
Among the advantages - the rooms are air-conditioned and quite clean, three Russian-speaking and three Ukrainian-speaking (at times) channels, towels are provided on the beaches, there is someone who needs a shower. There is a SPA, but this one is for a C grade. Guests can enjoy a beer at the beach bar. I would not dare to take a cocktail - the bartender puts the ingredients there with his hands. The staff tries to speak Russian, there are Russian-speaking guides.
