The first and third terminals conquer with luxury and monumentalism. Huge waiting rooms, lots of places to relax, chic cafes and shops. And terminal number two, which accepts the countries of the Middle East region and Indonesia. Our flights also arrive there. There are not enough places to rest (just sitting) at all, one crowded eatery and a small dutik. A very small waiting room. There is no public transport at the exit, only a taxi. Do not rush out, there is an opportunity to leave on an internal shuttle to terminal three. There's a subway and public transport.

Excellent spacious modern airport. Everything is wonderfully organized, quick passage of passport control and customs. On the last arrival, they even handed over a SIM card of a local telecom operator with 1 GB of mobile Internet for free! Very clean, lots of places where you can wait for your flight. In the absence of a card issued in foreign currency, Russian citizens will have to change cash at an exchange office, because everything is paid in Duty free in dinars. The exchange rate at the airport, alas, is not the best. But I don't see much point in shopping, because everything is much cheaper to be found in numerous shopping malls in Dubai.

A well-planned and thoughtful airport. The gate handles converge into the terminal. You should always follow the direction of the baggage claim signs. There are 2 toilets down the aisle after Rukov (there is almost never a queue at the far end). A free shuttle (on wheels) runs from the distant concourses to the terminals. After taking a ride on the shuttle, go to passport control, the numbers of the racks to which you need to go are indicated on digital monitors. They came, gave a passport, took pictures (no children needed), received a passport with a free physical SIM card with a volume of prepaid traffic in gigabytes, went right in the direction of baggage claim.
You receive your luggage by flight number on a digital bedside table, and you are all visiting residents of the Persian Gulf...

The currency exchange office is right at the entrance, also a pleasant impression of communication, a normal exchange rate. Everything is fine! But I had some difficulties. I flew from Russia to Bangkok with a transfer in Dubai by different airlines and a change of terminal. Therefore, it is necessary to take the luggage in Dubai and hand it over again. After taking the luggage (previously passed passport control), exit only to the street. You will not get to another terminal, only by taxi, which requested $ 40. In general, some kind of incomprehensible system with luggage and changing the terminal. Maybe it's possible in some other way!? On the way back, the luggage was sent immediately to Russia and there were no such problems in Dubai. Otherwise, everything is fine!
