Throughout the review process, I had three feelings about Express Car Rent:
(1) They had no customer awareness and were completely unable to think from the customer's perspective: They did not proactively inform the customer when the engine fault light came on, and pushed all the responsibilities onto the customer. They lost control and reprimanded the customer, refusing to provide the customer with relevant information on the grounds that "my father is in a bad situation and I have no time to discuss with you some fine"; they called the customer's international roaming phone number (with an international area code of +86, don't you know that this is a foreign phone roaming in Armenia) before the return time; they asked the customer to send photos before the return time, and treated the customer like a thief!
(2) Questionable credibility: They told me that many cars in Armenia would have engine fault lights on, but in fact, they did not. In fact, they gave me a car with an engine fault light on, which was risky and made me nervous throughout the trip.
(3) Vehicle quality and cost-effectiveness: I have already mentioned the quality of the vehicle, so I will not repeat it. Later, I also looked at the prices of Hyundai Elantra from other car rental companies in Yerevan. Obviously, Express Car Rent is not competitive. Interested netizens can compare it by themselves.
Finally: Express Car Rent was the worst experience of my entire trip to Armenia. The company and the people I met were the shame and misfortune of the Armenian car rental industry, and even gave foreign tourists a negative impression of the country. Fortunately, I met more kind, hospitable, enthusiastic and sincere people in Armenia. They are the conscience and pride of this country!

I booked a Toyota rav4 here about a month before the trip, upon arrival at the office they said that only the Highlander is available - OK, slightly higher consumption, but not scary.
We picked up the car in the dark (we arrived at the office late ourselves), it was dusty, nevertheless, we filmed all the defects found. The Tornik manager was polite, asked us to wash the car before delivery so that all the old and (if any) new defects could be seen.
We rode for 5 days, in general everything was OK, a couple of systems did not work, but this is not a problem for us, we were satisfied. We drove only along the highways, there were no accidents, pebbles and other things. We thought we were lucky.
On the day of delivery, we stopped at a car wash in Abovyan, where they washed it with foam and kerchere (photo added). Then we went to check in the car. Nairi's manager examined her and said that the car had been scratched in the car wash, and four parts needed polishing. To my comment that we were picking up a dusty car and the scratches could already be there, the answer was that such scratches would be visible under a layer of dust. There are indeed scratches, but I doubt very much that they could have been caused by employees at the car wash, Kercher would not have scratched so much. Nevertheless, we are tourists here, and it is difficult to download the rights, so we agreed that the company gets our $200 deposit. We were definitely mistaken in taking the car in the dark and dirty, although we filmed everything on video. Perhaps the problem really appeared after the car wash, but judging by other reviews, a branded car wash would not have saved us from the rental itself, plus we were asked to bring an already washed car.
All the staff communicated politely, as we did with them. If I made a mistake in something, the rental staff can respond to the review, on my part there are also photos and videos of the acceptance and delivery of the car (I did not upload them to the review)
There are no conclusions, the situation is unpleasant, we flew in 200 bucks because we followed the requests of the rental.

We booked a car a month in advance, we wanted a Toyota RAV 4, but upon arrival it turned out that there was no such car available and we were offered a Toyota Highlander. It was an inconvenient option for us, because there were two of us and we didn't need such a big car, besides, it consumes a lot of gasoline, and its cost in Armenia is very high. But we had no choice, because we had to leave the next morning.
We took the car in the dark, it was washed, but the city dust settled on it. I walked around the whole car with a flashlight twice and recorded all the damage on video, signed the contract, took the keys and drove off. The employee told us that we should return the car in a clean condition, but the rental does not have its own car wash — we need to go somewhere to wash it. It seemed strange to us, but we didn't pay too much attention.
Before we returned the car, we stopped at a car wash. The car was washed in front of us: first, they just went through the kercher with water, then they applied foam, washed it off and wiped the car with a clean microfiber cloth. I repeat, we were present during all the washing of the car.
Upon arrival back at the rental, another employee met us, began to inspect the car and said that all the paintwork was scratched on the car. That is, they will have to polish the whole car in a circle.
With the words: "I will give you a discount, because there is no main thing today, so I would take 50 thousand drams for each detail," they took away our entire deposit. Obviously, this is some kind of scheme, because there are too many coincidences: the car was handed over to us dusty, they asked us to wash it ourselves, and then they blamed all the blame on us. They may not be doing this with all their clients, but I don't recommend taking any chances.
We didn't get our $200 back, and we had to spend more on gasoline than we expected.
Everything is fine! I took a kia forte, drove about 1400 km, the car did not let me down. It drives well, it is very economical (less than 7 liters per 100m turned out), which is important at such gasoline prices (about 135 rubles / liter). The guys in the office are good, they do everything quickly and clearly.
To begin with, you can't choose a car here. On the website "sportage or equivalent", you call "99% of what will be sportage, in extreme cases cx5". When you come, we only have Cherokees. Why? Because the first one allegedly did not have time to be delivered, and the second one was given to another client. How you can promise to us and give to others is a mystery to me.
The next thing is better: the car had a four-wheel drive failure, and when we reported it, we got "why do you need it? What do you want off-road?"
The cherry on the cake - they asked for 20k for a sink instead of 5, because there were dog paw prints on the doormat, not feet. The contract stipulates 5-10k, there is nothing about animals, about off-road driving, too.
There is absolutely inadequate communication at the reception, no one will listen, the person will mumble the same thing for about an hour until you get tired of arguing with him yourself. I do not recommend this rental, the car is in poor condition and does not operate under a contract.

I must say right away, the company had a serious "jamb". The insurance was not extended when the car was issued. The police stopped me and took away my license, as I am a foreigner. But the company resolved the issue as quickly as possible, a representative arrived at the scene and found the right patrol with him, he provided new insurance and paid all fines. Fines were issued in my name (because I was driving) in the amount of 100,000+20,000 drams.
Yes, we spent nerves and about 3 hours of time, but the fines were repaid and the rights were returned. An employee of the company bought water and cold coffee for me and my passengers.
After this incident, I contacted the company with an offer to compensate for the time spent at least by washing the car, that is, I handed over the car dirty without paying for a car wash.

The car was clean. The mustang has a rear-view camera, Bluetooth. Included payment for city parking and car wash as a discount. They took it for 6 days, during this period there were no problems with the car, he runs briskly. I refueled, however, with 95m gasoline (atata) despite the request to pour the 98th, but absolutely honestly I could not find a gas station along the route where the 98th would be, I had to look for something special. We drove Armenia from north to south, rolled 1.5 thousand km in total, the rest was amazing!
Here in the reviews below, the client took the same mustang and he had an incident with a broken wheel, after which he found out that there were not enough bolts on the wheels and they were torn off. So, apparently they did work on the errors, so that all the bolts were in place, not torn off))

On the second day of the lease, what was supposed to happen happened, on the highway at a speed of 70 km / h, this crooked wheel absolutely flattened and sat on the disk.

He bought fresh food for us while waiting, constantly found out what else could brighten up the wait for us, in general, he was not indifferent to the current situation. The end time of the lease was also extended to us until the end of the working day, as a result, we even managed to travel for 3 days through the beauties of Armenia instead of 2. Initially, a Toyota Rav4 was booked, 1 day before the trip they wrote that there would be a Mitsubishi Outlander, as a result, a Nissan Rogue was brought. When I received the car, I also asked if it could be extended for 1 day. I was told that they would clarify and definitely come back with it, but no one wrote anything until the last evening. As a result, when I called, they said that there was no such possibility. The car was also picked up late (as well as at the time of delivery), despite the fact that I really asked to be picked up on time, since we had a tour booked, and we had to leave on time. On the day of the car's delivery, no one warned that they were delayed until I wrote and clarified myself. In general, there was a complete feeling that the office was not up to me.
The car is 2016, that is, it is already 7 years old. The body was all scratched, the front bumper was held on a kind word, the protection of the wheel arches was generally falling off. After 20 minutes of driving, we had to stop and figure out how to tie her up so that she wouldn't fly away. The brakes also creaked a lot, which is extremely unpleasant when you drive along serpentines for 4 days. I often rent cars in different countries, and this is my most disgusting experience in the last 5 years.

We did not find fault with the acceptance, the deposit of $ 200 was returned when the car was returned (we left it in cash). We recommend it.

I rented a Ford Fusion (for Russia it is a Ford Mondeo) for 5 days. ExpressCar had the most affordable price for a car of this class, there are no restrictions on mileage and territory of movement, the deposit can be left in a currency convenient for you, you can add a second driver. A full hard hat covers everything except the tires (that is, punctures are all repaired at your expense).
The car was clean, only from the sink, in excellent condition. The guys themselves offered to take a video of the car and take a photo. The whole procedure of taking and returning the car took 7 minutes, the deposit was returned immediately on the day of return. If there are any problems, you can always contact the company and resolve the issue.
A small minus: the day before we came to agree on the price and the car, we clearly talked about the final amount. The next day, the amount in the contract was 20 thousand drams more. I do not know if this is a mistake or a deliberate action, but the contract was easily redone for the agreed amount.
