8. Summary:
Throughout the review process, I had three feelings about Express Car Rent:
(1) They had no customer awareness and were completely unable to think from the customer's perspective: They did not proactively inform the customer when the engine fault light came on, and pushed all the responsibilities onto the customer. They lost control and reprimanded the customer, refusing to provide the customer with relevant information on the grounds that "my father is in a bad situation and I have no time to discuss with you some fine"; they called the customer's international roaming phone number (with an international area code of +86, don't you know that this is a foreign phone roaming in Armenia) before the return time; they asked the customer to send photos before the return time, and treated the customer like a thief!
(2) Questionable credibility: They told me that many cars in Armenia would have engine fault lights on, but in fact, they did not. In fact, they gave me a car with an engine fault light on, which was risky and made me nervous throughout the trip.
(3) Vehicle quality and cost-effectiveness: I have already mentioned the quality of the vehicle, so I will not repeat it. Later, I also looked at the prices of Hyundai Elantra from other car rental companies in Yerevan. Obviously, Express Car Rent is not competitive. Interested netizens can compare it by themselves.
Finally: Express Car Rent was the worst experience of my entire trip to Armenia. The company and the people I met were the shame and misfortune of the Armenian car rental industry, and even gave foreign tourists a negative impression of the country. Fortunately, I met more kind, hospitable, enthusiastic and sincere people in Armenia. They are the conscience and pride of this country!
Express Car Rent does not need to defend itself by saying "different countries and cultures have led to misunderstandings". As I said before, I have rented cars and driven in more than 40 countries. All the problems I stated here are the first time in my more than 10 years of global car rental and driving experience! You, Yerevan Express Car Rent, are ranked "1st" in all of the above questions, which is shameful!

I booked a Toyota rav4 here about a month before the trip, upon arrival at the office they said that only the Highlander is available - OK, slightly higher consumption, but not scary.
We picked up the car in the dark (we arrived at the office late ourselves), it was dusty, nevertheless, we filmed all the defects found. The Tornik manager was polite, asked us to wash the car before delivery so that all the old and (if any) new defects could be seen.
We rode for 5 days, in general everything was OK, a couple of systems did not work, but this is not a problem for us, we were satisfied. We drove only along the highways, there were no accidents, pebbles and other things. We thought we were lucky.
On the day of delivery, we stopped at a car wash in Abovyan, where they washed it with foam and kerchere (photo added). Then we went to check in the car. Nairi's manager examined her and said that the car had been scratched in the car wash, and four parts needed polishing. To my comment that we were picking up a dusty car and the scratches could already be there, the answer was that such scratches would be visible under a layer of dust. There are indeed scratches, but I doubt very much that they could have been caused by employees at the car wash, Kercher would not have scratched so much. Nevertheless, we are tourists here, and it is difficult to download the rights, so we agreed that the company gets our $200 deposit. We were definitely mistaken in taking the car in the dark and dirty, although we filmed everything on video. Perhaps the problem really appeared after the car wash, but judging by other reviews, a branded car wash would not have saved us from the rental itself, plus we were asked to bring an already washed car.
All the staff communicated politely, as we did with them. If I made a mistake in something, the rental staff can respond to the review, on my part there are also photos and videos of the acceptance and delivery of the car (I did not upload them to the review)
There are no conclusions, the situation is unpleasant, we flew in 200 bucks because we followed the requests of the rental.

We booked a Toyota Sienna in November 2024 for 4 days. We were completely satisfied with the service!
The car was given to us clean, with half a tank. We took out insurance on the spot. The condition of the car was recorded and videotaped from all sides.
The manager said he was always in touch if there were any questions.
Fortunately, we had no problems or questions during the entire rental period. We made a long route of about 800 km in Armenia, and not once did the car let us down. The car is roomy, easy to operate and comfortable.
The car was returned in the same condition in which it was accepted, the deposit was immediately given to us.

Everything is fine! I took a kia forte, drove about 1400 km, the car did not let me down. It drives well, it is very economical (less than 7 liters per 100m turned out), which is important at such gasoline prices (about 135 rubles / liter). I must say right away, the company had a serious "jamb". The insurance was not extended when the car was issued. The police stopped me and took away my license, as I am a foreigner. But the company resolved the issue as quickly as possible, a representative arrived at the scene and found the right patrol with him, he provided new insurance and paid all fines. Fines were issued in my name (because I was driving) in the amount of 100,000+20,000 drams.
Yes, we spent nerves and about 3 hours of time, but the fines were repaid and the rights were returned. An employee of the company bought water and cold coffee for me and my passengers.
After this incident, I contacted the company with an offer to compensate for the time spent at least by washing the car, that is, I handed over the car dirty without paying for a car wash.
There were no difficulties during the acceptance and delivery of the car, I liked how everything was organized.
I booked through lokalrent, they should have given me a Hyundai elantra, but they gave me a Mazda 6. I was not upset, at the Mazda itself.
The condition of the car is normal, only there was a rumble in the suspension on an uneven road, it didn't bother me much.
It's just a pity that all their cars run on gasoline, it costs very expensive, I refueled at 520 drams per liter.
I would contact the company again if necessary, but I would definitely check the insurance this time.

To begin with, you can't choose a car here. On the website "sportage or equivalent", you call "99% of what will be sportage, in extreme cases cx5". When you come, we only have Cherokees. Why? Because the first one allegedly did not have time to be delivered, and the second one was given to another client. How you can promise to us and give to others is a mystery to me.
The next thing is better: the car had a four-wheel drive failure, and when we reported it, we got "why do you need it? What do you want off-road?"
The cherry on the cake - they asked for 20k for a sink instead of 5, because there were dog paw prints on the doormat, not feet. The contract stipulates 5-10k, there is nothing about animals, about off-road driving, too.
There is absolutely inadequate communication at the reception, no one will listen, the person will mumble the same thing for about an hour until you get tired of arguing with him yourself. I do not recommend this rental, the car is in poor condition and does not operate under a contract.

I suppose, usually, if everything goes without difficulties, the impression of them should be decent: the cars are in good condition, smiling service.
However, we had minor difficulties that required attention. It all started corny - with a flat tire. We did everything according to their instructions. At the same time, when handing over the car, almost all the clearly voiced promises on their part were not fulfilled, and they presented it as if we were lucky that we got off with little blood. Everything that was beneficial to them was executed "humanly", everything that was beneficial to me was formally "under contract". I ended up paying double the rental price- not much, but they ruined my weekend.
As a result, on a trivial problem on which a normal company can earn a loyal customer, these characters demonstrated that customer orientation for them is to have a beautiful showcase and be able to promise a lot, but no more.

I took my dream in the company - a Ford Mustang. The guys have it in black, in the body of a convertible, in the initial version of ecoboost 2.3 for 317 horses. The Mustang, as I managed to Google, is only available from this company, I have not seen it in other places (or I could not find it). Booked a week before the appointed time, without prepayment. According to the time of transfer / receipt of the car — everything is clear, they even transferred almost an hour earlier. The car was passed by a cheerful young man with a very peculiar sense of humor, but he raised the mood of the girl and me in the morning))
The car was clean. The mustang has a rear-view camera, Bluetooth. Included payment for city parking and car wash as a discount. They took it for 6 days, during this period there were no problems with the car, he runs briskly. I refueled, however, with 95m gasoline (atata) despite the request to pour the 98th, but absolutely honestly I could not find a gas station along the route where the 98th would be, I had to look for something special. We drove Armenia from north to south, rolled 1.5 thousand km in total, the rest was amazing!
Here in the reviews below, the client took the same mustang and he had an incident with a broken wheel, after which he found out that there were not enough bolts on the wheels and they were torn off. So, apparently they did work on the errors, so that all the bolts were in place, not torn off))

Всем привет!
Брали в этой компании авто в аренду дважды: летом 2022 года брали Mitsubishi Outlander для путешествия по Армении и Грузии и в марте 2023 брали Toyota Land cruiser 200 для путешествия по Армении. Оба раза остались довольны как сервисом, так и самими автомобилями. Всё вежливо, культурно и достаточно адекватно по цене. По Армении обязательно надо путешествовать и очень удобно путешествовать в этой прекрасной стране на автомобиле.
Данную компанию по прокату авто однозначно рекомендую.
Уже планируем следующую поездку в Армению и обязательно будем брать авто у этих ребят. Привет из Беларуси, ребята!

Брали автомобиль в аренду с 3 по 6 апреля и все прошло отлично. Машина относительно новая с небольшим пробегом, хлопот нам не доставила. Цена и залог были наименьшими в городе из известных прокатных компаний.
Немного опаздывали с возвратом авто, на что нам сказали что нет никаких проблем. Общение с сотрудниками было прекрасное.
За что снял одну звезду - внутри и снаружи машина была слегка грязновата, нам предложили подождать 15 минут пока ее помоют, но мы сами отказались, все-таки хотелось уже поехать, а не ждать еще
В общем и целом, могу рекомендовать

В express car брал в аренду уже 4 машины и это не последний! И всегда разные) от обычных седанов, до электрокара и минивена.
Почти каждый раз я взаимодействовал с Эриком, который на 3-й раз меня уже начал узнавать))
Когда брал электрокар, хотел VW ID4, но дали в замен Honda ENS1, сначала расстроился, но пока шли до машины - Эрик так расхвалил ENS, что уже не оставалось сомнений, что она лучше. И так и получилось! Хотят бы раз надо попробовать этот опыт, было очень интересно.
Получение и сдача машин некогда не вызывала проблем. Всё быстро осматривали и принимали. Опять таки, последний раз сдавал минивен и Эрик работал один и на выдаче и на приемке и это не помешало всё успеть и не заставить долго ждать!
Т.к через месяц мне опять нужна будет машина в аренду, у меня уже нет вариантов куда идти, я знаю, что меня всегда ждут в express car. Поэтому смело могу рекомендовать, ребята все очень дружелюбные.
А ещё в летнее время при оформлении они дают каждому бутылочку воды. Это очень приятно, и иногда прям не хватает именно в эту минуту. Респект за эту идею!
В общем, не пожалеете и ребята - до встречи ещё!

A Toyota Camry class 20-21 car was rented for a week in Yerevan.
We brought a Mazda 6 car, okay, but a few words about the condition.
The car of 2018, the mileage is more than 165 thousand km, well, the condition more than corresponds to the mileage, if you do not take care of the car, but squeeze out all the juices.
The front right wheel is completely bald, on an absolutely curved disk, which was immediately indicated to the issuing manager. The answer is "yes, everything is fine, we just drove it for a week in Georgia, everything is fine"
Almost all elements have damage, scratches, scuffs.
On the second day of the lease, what was supposed to happen happened, on the highway at a speed of 70 km / h, this crooked wheel absolutely flattened and sat on the disk.
With the help of kind people, they pumped up and crawled to the tire shop, where they put the finishing machine.
In the evening of that day, the car was taken for repair, the curved disk was somehow rolled, three layers of sealant were smeared and they said, great, you can drive on.
It's scary to drive a car, the steering wheel beats, the suspension on any bump makes such sounds that either it will stay on the road now, or it will fly into the salon.
When handing over the car, they began to fool their heads that it was dirty and they had to go to wash it, although they said clearly when they received it, they could not wash it, but the surcharge was 4 thousand drams.
(I also encounter the requirement to wash the car before delivery for the first time in my life)
There were traces of the paws of a cat/or dog on the hood. Wiped with a cloth, everything is fine.
But no, I have to go wash, I won't give you the deposit.
As a result, after 15 minutes I arrived from the car wash with scuffs on the hood, which were not there. And the traces do not correspond in any way to what an animal can leave. The claw marks are not thin deep, but the surface ones are large in area, in their pure form they were carried out in 10 places with fine sandpaper, so that it could be quickly corrected.
As a result, they said that it was necessary to polish the entire element, a fine of 20 thousand drams (5 thousand rubles. )
It's hopeless to argue, they paid a fine, and with an absolutely spoiled mood they finished a wonderful vacation.
Not a rental company, but Sharashkin's office and breeders who give out old junk instead of a car, which is scary to drive faster than 50 km / h, and then they throw out such surprises when handing over the car, if they did not buy insurance from them, which they insist on very much.
I never recommend anyone to use the "services" of Express Car
upd. Shortly after the review was posted, the company's management contacted, apologized very much. They sent back the money that was withheld in the form of a fine. Let's hope it's just us who are so unlucky with the car and the staff.

took a car here several times - everything was normal, but here, once again I needed a car, as always I left them a request on whatsapp and ... silence, well, I don't think they saw it, I call back and then the "football" continues: I ask if they saw my application - they didn't, can you take a look? - I can't, I mean you can't? - call the number back... and they throw the phone. To put it mildly, I am surprised by the service... I call another number, tell about how they spoke to me affectionately, and what I hear in response (further my interpretation): well, a man on a business trip, are you too lazy to call another number? Someone may disagree with me and this is his choice, but I think if the company is customer-oriented, then not the client will call you back to 10 numbers and look for the one on which they will talk to him, and after the first application, you will make every effort to process it correctly! That's how this company treats its regular customers! And in addition, even if the client is emotional and raised his voice - firstly, he has reasons for that, and secondly, this is not a reason for him to be rude, and even more so to call "chat offline"... This is too much...

Все понравилось, всем довольны. Машина попалась целенькая (Kia forte). Возникла сперва заминка, т.к. прошлый арендатор сильно опаздывал и нам пришлось перенести начало аренды на несколько часов. Машин в наличии никаких подобных нашей не было чтоб заменить нам ее на другую. Менеджер попался очень приятный, вежливый, проявил индивидуальный подход. Зовут Эрик, я запомнил. Купил нам на время ожидания фреши, постоянно узнавал чем нам еще может скрасить ожидание, в общем не был равнодушен к сложившейся ситуации. Время окончания аренды так же продлил нам до конца рабочего дня, в результате мы успели даже 3 дня поездить по красотам Армении вместо 2х. Расположение удобное, цены тоже. Аренда на сутки стоила на 23000 драм, это последние числа июня для ориентира

Очень понравился сервис. В первую очередь оцениваешь прокатные компании по цене авто, в данной компании цены такие же как и везде - средние по рынку, где-то дороже, где-то дешевле, однако когда уже пробовал все прокатные компании в Ереване, начинаешь разбираться и замечать особенности: в данной компании замечательное руководство, мега грамотные менеджеры и приятные и отзывчивые агенты по аренде. Работал за это время с Григором, Борисом, Арсеном. Машины почти все в хорошем состоянии, парк очень большой, всегда оформляют все документы внимательно, всё объясняют четко за что, куда, почему так. Благодарю ребят за прекрасный сервис и отзывчивость, обязательно буду обращаться еще. Данный отзыв я оставляю на яндекс и google - одинаковый текст.

Брали автомобиль в аренду на 4 дня - 21-25 июня 2023 г в Ереване. Автомобиль привезли на 1 час позже, чем договаривались. При этом машина была грязная снаружи и внутри. Попросили ее все-таки помыть, поэтому пришлось ждать еще целый час. Изначально бронировали Toyota Rav4, за 1 день до поездки написали, что будет Mitsubishi Outlander, в итоге пригнали Nissan Rogue. При получении автомобиля я также уточнила, можно ли его продлить на 1 день. Мне сказали, что уточнят и обязательно вернуться с этим, но до последнего вечера так никто ничего и не написал. В итоге, когда я позвонила, сказали, что возможности такой нет. Забрали автомобиль также с опозданием (как и при выдаче), при том, что я очень просила забрать вовремя, так как у нас была забронирована экскурсия, и нам надо было вовремя уехать. В день сдачи автомобиля никто не предупредил, что задерживаются, пока я сама не написала и не уточнила. В общем, было полное ощущение, что конторе не до меня.
Машина 2016 года, то есть ей уже 7 лет. Кузов был весь исцарапанный, передний бампер держался на добром слове, защита колесных арок вообще отваливалась. Через 20 минут дороги нам пришлось остановиться и придумывать, чем ее подвязать, чтобы она не улетела. Также у автомобиля сильно скрипели тормоза, что крайне неприятно, когда 4 дня ездишь по серпантинам. Я часто беру автомобили в аренду в разных странах, и это мой самый отвратительный опыт за последние 5 лет.

Ребята молодцы!
Работают чётко, по всем вопросам отвечают быстро, во многих ситуациях идут навстречу, никаких лишних сложностей при возврате автомобиля не было. Кредитка не понадобилась. Залог вернули в этот же день.
Остались только приятные впечатления.
Однозначно рекомендую!

Единственный сервис по прокату автомобилей в Ереване, где были свободные машины и где получилось оформить аренду - это самый главный плюс для меня. Машина, отношение сотрудников, сервис - тоже на высшем уровне. Рекомендую.

Авто забронировали у Express Car, но через сервис-агрегатор Booking Car. На 4 дня у нас вышло 8300 руб (в драмах сумму не помню), это очень недорого. Авто было указано как Шкода Рапид или аналогичный, в итоге нам достался Фольксваген Поло 2016 года. Внешне автомобиль нормально выглядит, только несколько царапин от неаккуратных водителей. Пробег больше 200 000, это, конечно, чувствуется, сиденья протерты, но в целом с машиной всё хорошо, всё работало. Единственный недостаток - ждали выдачу авто час. Работники вежливые. Чтобы найти стойку компании, нужно зайти в главный вход театра, слева будет рецепшен, на нём пластиковая стойка с названием Express Car. Бак был заправлен полностью. Авто мыли перед выдачей нам, поэтому мы при возврате не мыли, только заправили полный бак. При приёмке не придирались, залог 200$ вернули при возврате авто (мы оставляли наличными). Рекомендуем.

Брали сначала одну машину, затем чуть по просторнее другую.
Была ситуация что кто-то поцарапал машину на парковке, все в целом решили красиво.
Советую.
Плюс в аэропорт могут пригнать без доплат, как некоторые.

Забронировали без предоплаты по телефону заранее, взяли электро кроссовер 2022 года с пробегом 5000км, чистый, свежий. По цене 30.000 драм в сутки и еще 7.000 полная страховка КАСКО. Оплачивали картой МИР.
Находится в центре. Рекомендую!

В ExpressCar была самая доступная цена на авто данного класса, нет ограничений по километражу и территории перемещения, залог можно оставить в удобной вам валюте, можно добавить второго водителя. Полное каско покрывает все, кроме шин (то есть проколы все чинятся за ваш счет).
Машина была чистая, только с мойки, в отличном состоянии. Ребята сами предложили снять авто на видео и сделать фото. Вся процедура взятия и возврата авто заняла минут 7, залог вернули сразу в день возврата. Если возникнут проблемы, всегда можно связаться с компанией и решить вопрос.
Небольшой минус: накануне приходили договориться о цене и машине, четко проговорили итоговую сумму. На следующий день в договоре была сумма на 20 тысяч драм больше. Не знаю, ошибка это или преднамеренное действие, но договор без проблем переделали на обговоренную сумму.

The car itself is cool and the guys are also friendly, explain everything, support by phone, quickly arrange.
In general, I recommend it. 👍

Позвонила по поводу аренды утром в день аренды, сказали что машина в наличии, можно приезжать и оформляться. Приехала, сказали что ждать ещё час пока машину помоют и привезут с гаража. Поскольку машина класса премиум, то я чётко обозначила, что до оформления договора хотела бы на неё посмотреть вживую. В итоге , по прошествии часа подготовки мне показали фото машины и сказали что сначала нужно подписать документы и оплатить, а только потом смотреть. На мой вопрос о том, почему мне об этом не сказали часом раньше - добавили меня в черный список🤣👍
Не тратьте время, идите в нормальную контору!
