Hello. I want to share my impressions about my stay at this hotel. We had a family vacation at the end of July 2022. I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff of this hotel!!! Especially the restaurant staff and bartenders. The most beautiful and smiling team. The food in the restaurant is always very tasty and varied. No one remained hungry. We arrived at the hotel at 12.30. We checked in immediately. And they offered to go to lunch. Of course, the hotel rooms are very tired, but this does not affect the overall impression of the hotel in any way. Despite the fact that the furniture in the room is old, it is always perfectly clean and tidy. There is always water in the room!!! Both cold and hot. Drinking water was brought to us daily. The territory of the hotel is small, but very beautiful and cozy. This is a huge plus for me, because it is very close to the beach. The beach is huge and spacious. There are no crowds, there is enough space for everyone. The entrance to the sea is sandy and gentle, which is good for families with young children. If you are bothered by reviews about the parking of boats, then I inform you that they stand aside and do not bother anyone at all. The beach is also in perfect order. The guys sweep something all day, level the sand and sift it. It is very pleasant to observe such responsible work. This also applies to the cleaners of the hotel itself. I expected something more from the hotel. Upon arrival, they offered to pay an additional $ 14 for a good room, gave 20 smiled and said with a view of the sea, asked for change - thank you! As a result, I received a room with a view of the neighboring rooms, a non-working air conditioner and light and a running toilet. They refused to change the room for a cut and persistently fixed problems until 22.00, the child fell asleep after a night flight, despite the crowd of workers in the room. As a result, everything was fixed, but the residue of deception remained. By food - we had a rest in September 2023 - fruits grapes, pomegranate, melon, dates, mango, once there was a watermelon and grapefruit. I was disappointed that there are no standard sausages for breakfast. A children's menu has been announced, in fact there is none at all. The choice of food is small, meat is given out... They don't pour alcohol on the beach. There are 2 "type" bars on the territory of the hotel, in which there is no cognac or brandy at 18.00... Oh, there are a lot of locals. I chose a hotel with a small water park for a child of 6 years old, he was not allowed there (even accompanied by his mother) only on slides for 2-3 year olds. The only thing I was pleased with was the sea, very good conditions, few corals. As a result, don't set foot in this hotel anymore!

Today is the last day of rest. I can recommend this hotel to those who like poor food, boorish attitude, washed linen. Before leaving, I witnessed the manager YELLING at the entire reception. The scream was heart-rending… I was even scared. In order not to bother you with a negative detailed description, I will only say that this hotel is not worth either 4 stars or 3.
Of the advantages: the territory. Of all the staff, only Amir at the reception will solve all questions with courtesy, without raising his voice. Thanks to him for his kindness!

I'll start with food. That's horrible. There is no breakfast, only eggs and some kind of brown goo. You can't call a sausage a sausage. You can try some more cheese, but it's salty. Rice porridge is cold, until they quarreled, they began to give it hot, but it is on milk powder and where the dry breakfast is also dry milk. If the beef is stewed, then you will not find one so-called gravy. And it remains to eat only burnt or raw chicken and loving. Everything. And so the room is clean, our boy cleaned well, changed the bed during and put shampoo gel every day. The beach is good, you can always find sun beds. But beach towels in the morning do not always have to wait. I was on vacation with my husband from 16.11.2023 to 29.11.23On the last day I was poisoned by potatoes in a uniform allegedly baked. That's it, and last year there was a good hotel and food, too, but the change of owner did not happen in the worst way.

We have been to this hotel 5 or 6 times. But, alas, the last one. We will definitely not come here anymore. Dirt, disgusting service, the inability to have a quiet lunch or dinner, because all the vacationers here simply do not have enough space. You either need to take a seat half an hour before lunch and dinner, or accept that when you come later, you just won't see anything but bread and rice from the food. And it's useless to ask to replenish the food containers. The answer is one - finished. And no one cares that there's still a whole hour before the end of dinner time. I am always calm about food, I do not require special delicacies. But when there is simply no butter for breakfast in a restaurant, from the word at all, when an omelet is fried without cheese, when there are no tomatoes at all, and fruits are given out at the rate of one piece of melon per person - this is already annoying. Bullying (not even saving) is in full bloom.
Add to this that our room was not cleaned for 3 days, we had to ask for a roll of toilet paper three times - the fourth time my husband just went to swear at the reception. In general, only the sea, diving and good company saved this vacation. But we will definitely not go to this hotel anymore.

The hotel even explains in Russian. Sometimes they were allowed to buy after closing for another hour while they were cleaning. The staff is very friendly, most understand Russian, but a little dirty.
3. Summer restaurant -3. The food is a little poor, although the fish is very tasty every day. Salads are common and the choice is small. I don't like sweets and flour, so I took their 3-4 dessert options calmly. But we didn't go to the grocery store, we didn't stay hungry. Table cleaning is something special. Not very clean, there were never any napkins. Perhaps it was a temporary phenomenon, since their main restaurant was under renovation.
Toilets on the territory -3 with a minus. In the main Hall there are 5+. All other 3-. There is no paper, there are no cleaners either.
The location of the hotel is -5++. And the beach and the main street and the store (where even rubles are accepted for payment, and Russian girls work and by the way the prices there are the same as everywhere, in places cheaper) are all within walking distance.
Bar -3. Their beer is local, delicious-but for some reason I wasn't the only one with a headache from it. Whiskey and Coke -5/4. There is ice -5, there is no ice (and this also often happened) -4. I don't like whiskey, but they have some specific caramel tint. There is no wine. Especially dry.
But judging by the reviews of 5-star hotels in Egypt in general from friends and acquaintances, their 5-star hotels are the same as here 4.

There is almost always no alcohol, a bottle of beer per hour is divided for the whole hotel, who got it, well, who doesn't, is waiting for the "weather by the sea". From the second day, they even stopped coming to the bar, bought in the store. The food is the same every day, there is no choice and it is not tasty. Chicken, pasta and scrambled eggs, the rest is grass and rolls with cakes.It's like a way of torture, there is the same thing, by the end of the rest, they almost crowed. We went to restaurants in the city, fortunately the hotel is located in Naama Bay, and there are a lot of things around. The beach is good, but there are many dangerous fish right on the shore, lionfish, stone fish, surgeon fish, and even moray eels. They clean the room so-so, even for a dollar. Well done animators! They have a plus sign! In short, whether I want to come back, definitely not. And I don't recommend it to anyone. We were led by the reviews, the whole hotel was sitting and thinking who these people are, who writes such positive reviews. This is the first hotel in my life that I don't want to go back to for anything.
PS.You have such a wonderful location, a nice bay, a gentle approach. The territory is beautiful. But no one will ever come back to you from such an attitude towards their guests.

Beer is poured only at the pool bar, not in other bars, only for money. They absolutely do not know how to mix cocktails, even in a paid bar, we waited for our 3 cocktails for 20 minutes, fortunately we were alone there, and did not have to stand in line. It's unclear how the pool is cleaned, on some day, in the pool at 9 a.m., hair was already floating, sugar packages, and it's unclear what, after we presented it to the staff, he just said OK and left, don't litter, nothing. The staff just don't care about the guests, they feed like cattle, you need to run after them to get something, the appliances are the same, the service is 0. There is a system: a free dinner at an Italian restaurant on site, you just need to go and make an appointment through the head waiter at an ordinary restaurant. They came up. We signed up for 20-00. As a result, we decided to have a snack at 18-30 for a barbecue dinner and we were taken off from dinner ... like either here or there we have to eat, in two places it is impossible, we were not warned. Good. Please sign us up for tomorrow then. They say no, that's it, you had a chance. As a result, we were only able to negotiate through the reception. The head waiter himself is strange, when it's convenient for him, he pretends that he doesn't understand us.
But all these are small things, because there are a lot of positive things!!!! I want to go back!!!

On the beach, the free bar has only water and a painted jupi. There is alcohol and beer under the counters at the pool bar. We must first find out if there is anything. The room is ordinary, it can be said that it was cleaned almost daily - superficially. The main building of the restaurant is being renovated on site. And so the sea, the sun is in place and the fish too.

If it were possible to give MINUS 5 stars, I would do it. We have been to other Charm hotels before, everything was on top, but this time the trip was not a success. The hotel looks normal, there is a children's aqua zone, which is open from 11 to 13 o'clock. That's where the advantages ended.
_____The food is just disgusting, thanks for losing weight. The menu is the same every day, nothing has changed in 11 days. In addition, the assortment is small, there is a choice of pasta with white sauce or red, and exactly the same choice with rice. Sometimes potatoes appear, but they are disassembled in the first 30 minutes of lunch (and lunch there lasts 2 hours).All. There is nothing else. And so it is with all the items in the menu. Desserts here are an ordinary sponge cake with a thin layer of icing on top. And nothing else)
It is impossible to approach and take as much food as you want here, because here very greedy people put food on you, the portions are small, as if it is not for an adult, but for feeding a child.
_____Animators are boring, half-dead. Entertainment from animators in the evening is a separate topic, I did not think that everything could be so bad.
_____The attitude of the staff towards the guests is terrible, almost everyone there is some kind of rude. In general, it is very uncomfortable to be there. Of all the employees of the hotel, there are 3-4 adequate people there.
_____The hotel itself is far from the center, where all the traffic takes place and the market is located. For those who do not really like to walk, this is a problem, because it takes about 20 minutes to walk there. And considering that animators are boring, entertainment can only be found in the city.
_____The beach was also unsuccessful. Firstly, there is no beautiful reef to be found there. Secondly, it is very shallow, fenced with buoys where the water level barely reaches the shoulders, and if you swim behind the buoys, the rescuers raise a boil. Thirdly, half of the beach line was once filled with cement, then it was half destroyed, and now it is very difficult to walk there so as not to damage anything.
____At check-out, they also did not give the dry rations that are given out in all hotels.
In general, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We arrived the other day from a vacation where we stayed at this hotel. The dates are October 3-10.
The impressions of the hotel are as follows, point by point:
1) The territory is relatively rather big, there are plenty of places to sit / lie down / read/ drink/ smoke, etc.
Everything is clean everywhere, cleaning is regular both in the rooms and the territory itself. The lawn was constantly mowed
2) the staff is really pleasant and friendly, there is something to compare, so I can say that here you will not see any disparaging looks either at the reception, in the dining room, or anywhere else. That's great! Service culture at a height💫
3) food - the choice was not so impressive, but I always found something to eat for myself. Meat, lula, potatoes, a lot of vegetables and everything was fresh. The food became boring only on the last day
4) drinks - that's where the problem is 😡
It is clear that local alcohol is always so-so, but here we just "tried" - perhaps here was the cheapest of all possible. It is impossible to drink wine - it is tart, tasteless - and there is no relaxation. Strong drinks are the same. Beer was in some distant bars that didn't always work. There was also a bar near the pool where you could get beer, but it was always warm there and it was traditionally poured into small glasses. It was not served at all during breakfast/lunch/dinner
5) Animation is fine
6) the room itself - we came across a very fresh and good view, we are grateful for that

The ugly all-inclusive organization of the dining room is under renovation, so everyone should have time to eat in a corner near the children's pool in two hours, while there are not enough tables or chairs for everyone. Having defended the queue (up to twenty people come) first for the side dish, then the queue for vegetables (mostly cabbage), then the queue for meat, well, for a dry bun, you are trying to find a place to sit. At each turn, the king stands and allows you to take no more than two pieces, while communicating with colleagues and everyone is waiting for them to finish communicating and deign to give out a piece. Coffee is in the dining room only in the morning, and at lunch and dinner it is not available, and you can only get it in bars, or rather booths, near the pool, but you cannot leave the canteen with a plate of buns. And so it is in everything. After a week, it's already pretty boring, it's good that there's not much left. The representative of Pegasus didn't give a damn about us, but he called me to sign a paper that I was satisfied with the room, which was also a novelty. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have been traveling to Egypt for almost twenty years. I've been to different hotels. We had come to Gafi eight times before. And they realized that it was only getting worse every time. In recent years, the hotel has taken a clear tilt at compatriots. All the others are second class. In addition, they also got caught at the time of the reconstruction of the restaurant. Normal hotels reduce the number of guests at such moments. These people didn't even think about it. As a result, in order to get to the table, it was necessary either to arrive half an hour or at least an hour after the start of lunch or dinner. At every meal, the chef poked his nose at the fact that there were no plates, then spoons, then soup, then salad. Butter, jam or honey were given out from under the floor at breakfast. If you don't ask, you won't get it. The distribution of alcohol was shut down at the beach bar. You came to sunbathe, but if you want to get your throat wet, blow through the whole hotel. And there the bartender will prove to you that he does not give you more than two plastic cups in his hands. The cleaner had to be invited to the room with a herald. Anyway, this is my last visit to Gafi. I will never set foot there again. It's a pity, once there was one of the best hotels in Naama in terms of price-quality ratio.

I had a rest from February 9 to February 22, 2023 with two children. The hotel positions itself as a family hotel, but in the end there is no entertainment for children except the same dance in the evenings!

Every day alcohol ran out in all bars, on the beach he just disappeared on the 7th day of my Rest !!!

Lunch: 2 soups, chicken and dry fish, side dishes only rice and pasta, 2 vegetable salads!, no sliced vegetables!

It is better to pay extra when buying a tour, but you should not go here! Unless you want to lose weight😅

The room is just terrible, the bathroom is dirty, the shower drains for 5 minutes and there is no hot water, only barely warm, the door to the balcony is wooden and very dirty. The tiles on the balcony are dirty. For three people, 1 bottle of 1.5 liters of water is given per day. Lots of mosquitoes and flies. The food is the same every day, crows steal food from the tables, dozens of flies fly around. The pools are surprisingly clean, they are closed at 18 o'clock. The beach is covered with rocks and broken shells, it is difficult to walk to the sea and not cut yourself. The sea is clear, there are many different fish, but there are too many stones that will scratch all your legs and arms. The bars close at the same time as the pool. Round-the-clock classical music throughout the hotel gets boring very quickly. In the bar by the sea, only water and chemical juices are free, which you don't even want to drink.
Of the advantages, I can single out a half-empty beach and the same sun loungers, the situation with places near the pools is similar. Drinks in bars are not diluted with water, unlike other hotels. Clean pools and a clear sea.
There is a McDonald's across the street, but the prices there are x2 from the prices in Moscow. Shops are also across the street, drinks are very cheap (Coca-Cola 2L-$ 1, freshly squeezed juices 750ml-$1). I wrote the prices from the Mango store.

There are always tables available whenever you come(I disagree with the previous review.It seems there is a choice, but it gets boring.Queues for food. There is some kind of animation, but we were not interested. The sea is cool, fish, rays, moray eels, sea urchins, corals, reefs you will see all this. The approach is good, the sand. The beach is clean, there have always been sun beds. The territory is small, but well maintained and clean. There are mosquitoes, all bitten on day 3. So buy repellents, you can buy them near the hotel. When we left the hotel, when we already boarded the bus, we were told that we would not go anywhere, because someone did not hand over the room card, although we stood almost simultaneously with other people leaving and saw that everything was handed over and they told us "OK", everything is fine, everyone is free.. 10 min of showdown, and it seems the receptionist remembered that everything was passed.. The sediment remained like that. We also took a tour of the pyramids in Giza, on the street next to the hotel. For 1 person on a plane, $ 170. They didn't cheat, it's the same program. The food is worse, the attitude towards tourists I don't even want to describe. The location is so-so (if in Gafy you stand facing the sea on the right at the end of the bay), there is no point in comparing the beach either. For those who write that the hotel is a passageway: "People, the promenade along the sea begins from it, all hotels have it like this"! Yes, the pandemic did not spare anyone, but the territory was renovated in this hotel, another bar was opened, and an Aqua Park was built. The room stock is not new anymore, but they support it. They always clean well. I do not know why they paid $ 70 for the extension of the room, we paid $ 40. We had a rest in November 2021. I don't write about the sea, everything has already been written before me. We will definitely return there.
