We were vacationing with my husband. We stopped by in the evening on 08/14/2022. They were escorted to a room in a 3-storey building. There were 2 separate beds. Even on the balcony, the light did not work (the neighboring lamps were turned on). We went to the reception and asked for a room with a large bed. At first we were told that this was a standard room (we had a standard specified in our voucher), but after 5 minutes they took us to move in. They gave the number 1141. It's in the right one-story building. There is a large bed and a more spacious bathroom. In addition to the main entrance with a magnetic key, there is an exit to the back garden, where there is a table and 2 armchairs, you can dry swimsuits and smoke. From there, the beach is 60 meters away. It is quite cozy and you can hardly hear people swimming in the pools. In general, the location of the hotel is good. There are only fives around, which are slightly more expensive.
The room itself is pretty standard. There is a TV, I flipped through all the channels once - on Russian TNT and a couple more of some kind. The minibar is working.
One of the disadvantages is that the air conditioner is not temperature-controlled. Either the icy air is blowing, or you turn it off. After 3-4 nights with this condee, we got a runny nose, without any condee at all, it was hot. I started waking up at night and turning it off, and turning it on again in the morning.
Another of the disadvantages is wi-fi only in the lobby, where the reception is. After lunch, many people go to surf the Internet and its speed drops dramatically. In the morning and in the evening, it is enough to call on Viber.
And the last minus is cleaning the rooms every day, but "in the Egyptian way". They do not use powerful tools and do not brush to shine, the hotel is quite old, and therefore there is mold in the corners of the shower stall on silicone sealant. It is likely that this can be found in the neighboring five, they are also not new. If you are squeamish, then perhaps Egypt is not for you at all, or take only new hotels (it will either not be the first line, or not Naama Bay).
One of the advantages is the location - the first line by the sea, a sandy beach and the entrance to the sea, there are some corals and quite a lot of fish, also near the city center (shops, discos, bars, fruit stalls, souvenirs).
Another advantage is the service. Feel free to smile and say thank you to the bartenders and restaurant staff. They understand both Russian and English and will answer you, pour as much as you ask and add to the plate what you ask for (the food is put on the plate by the restaurant staff themselves, it is behind the glass - the consequences of covid).
Food - there are many types of dishes, some dishes are served every day, others change. In 9-10 days, you can eat different things and never repeat yourself. In addition to breakfast, they are more monotonous (the standard set is cereal with milk, toast, yogurt, scrambled eggs, vegetables, sausage, cheese, puff pastry, fruits (melon, dates, oranges or grapes)). They also gave halva for breakfast. If you live for 14 days, then the dishes are likely to start repeating themselves.
The furniture in the rooms is solid solid wood, but old - the upholstery of the chairs is stained, there are chips on the paint, a patched crack on the stone countertop.
In general, the place is very good, more affordable than neighboring hotels, friendly staff, we liked it.

I had a vacation in September 2023 in this hotel with a child. The hotel is normal for its money, the sea is just a fire. The restaurant has been opened, you will not stay hungry. Our room was 3 building 1322.
I definitely recommend the hotel. I will be happy to stay here again. We had a rest in early December 2021.
Check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 11 a.m. We were checked in immediately, without waiting for 14:00.
Sea. Gafy and the three hotels adjacent to it have the best site in Naama Bay (reef, clear water, no boats). Beach towels are not exchanged, they are given out once. The beach is clean, there are trash cans and ashtrays. They are not allowed to go to the beach after sunset.
Connection. Wi-Fi is very weak and only in the hotel lobby. The local SIM card saves you.
Rooms. Relatively clean (general cleaning does not hurt), spacious. The refrigerator, air conditioning, and safe were working. The water is cold and hot. Gel, shampoo, soap, napkins, paper – everything is available and constantly replenished. Some rooms have a clothes dryer and a kettle. All this can be asked for. Daily cleaning with change of bed linen. The towel lying on the floor will be changed. Yellow towels are beach towels. They are not changed. We assessed the availability of blankets. Free water is not brought to the room, only on the day of arrival. You need to pour it yourself at the bar.
Mosquitoes. If you sleep with the window open, you will be eaten. We slept with Conder, we were not disturbed.
Staff. Friendly. They love Russian chocolate very much. Smile, say hello, thank you, and you will be answered in the same way. They quickly solve all the issues that arise: they lost two beach towels (blown off the balcony by the wind) – in the morning they brought new ones to our room, the door to the room does not open – after a couple of minutes they came and opened everything. Upon returning at 5 a.m. from Cairo, a pleasant surprise awaited in the room – a set table (sandwiches, vegetable salad, fruits, everything is covered with film)!
Safety. Be vigilant on the beach! On the last day before departure, two beach towels were stolen from friends while they were swimming (despite the fact that they immediately turned to the guards, an unpleasant conversation with the staff took place at the departure, but everything was settled). If towels are stolen under the cameras, then what prevents thieves from stealing your things?
Food. Delicious, varied. You will definitely not stay hungry. If you do not come to the very opening of the restaurant, then there are no queues. The request to increase the portion is answered unconditionally. I really liked the fresh dates and salty cottage cheese. Look for portioned butter where the omelet is made, boiled eggs are also hidden in a large saucepan. A free bar opens on the beach at one o'clock in the afternoon. The complex includes juice, pizza, shawarma, vegetables.
Bar. Latte, cappuccino, cocoa are poured for free in any quantity (according to the terms of settlement, this is a paid service). Water is poured into a bottle. Location. Very convenient. Across the street there is a McDonald's, a supermarket, a liquor store. I liked Mahoney's restaurant (seafood). For $ 5 we drove to the Old Town. All souvenirs and gifts were bought at the market in the Old Town (it is necessary to bargain!). It's beautiful to walk here in the evening. I also recommend the El Masrein restaurant there.

And so the stars came together, we arrived at this hotel. I'll run ahead and say that at the end of my vacation I compared this hotel with the domestic automotive industry. Everything seems to be beautiful and functional and rides, but there are always some jambs and flaws.
Or, on the contrary, everything was built correctly and that's exactly what was intended, but then this hotel is not Egyptian, but Jewish, even though they say they were expelled from here. I will describe the hotel in my story and tell you about its features / nuances.
I will not write about the territory and rooms, everything is as described in the other reviews are purely functionally comfortable, the rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed, and if you leave $ 1 of these towels, animals were left, which the child really liked.

Fruits of 3-4 types (Dates, melons, tangerines, oranges), a lot of local sweets of 8-12 types, they are also mostly delicious. There are 8-12 types of salads and 8-10 types of sliced vegetables. In general, you will not stay hungry and there will be no heartburn. There are hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza on the beach snack bar, all of the above are not done at the same time, but on different days something is the same, this bar is the weak link! the food is plastic, so for a snack and of incomprehensible quality, the only one + there is ketchup here. There is no more free food here. There is 1 more Ala bar on the beach, it is paid, I did not take anything there, and there was nothing to take, alcohol and the same snack as at the beach bar, only slightly modified, but everything was done by the same hands of beach chefs. There is also an Italian restaurant at the hotel. 1 dinner is included in the price of the tour.
To summarize, there are disadvantages that cause you inconvenience, but there are also advantages: you will not mindlessly collect food, fill your stomach mindlessly and leave behind half-eaten food.
Drinking is also a separate topic. Of the free alcoholic beverages: local rum, whiskey, semi-dry white wine, beer, the quality of all drinks for 3-4 servings is also determined by the bar employee, the principle is the same as with food, since I am indifferent to alcohol, personally it was not a problem for me. The nuance of alcohol is as follows: for breakfast, lunch and dinner you can only take wine and spirits, beer never happens in the dining room. Beer is bottled at street bars (the beach bar does not include alcohol there at all) the principle of bottling beer and other alcoholic beverages. drinks from 10 to 17. At the bar near the heated pool, on the outskirts, then this bar closes, and the same bartender goes to the bar to the main pool with the same assortment and pours drinks there from 17 to 22. At the same time, there is a constant shortage of beer and it is constantly absent, the 2nd problem is that every other time it is warm, combined with mediocre quality, it causes wild disgust. In addition, when communicating with the bartender (the person who pours, since it is very difficult to call him a bartender), there is a strong feeling that he does not want to fulfill your orders at all and does you a favor, again, $ 1 changes the attitude towards you, cocktails are completely absent here they do not understand what it is.
From non-alcoholic beverages: 3 types of juices (pineapple, mango, orange) 3 types of lemonades (cola, sprite, mirinda) Tea, Coffee.
For juices, they are everywhere (Dining room, Beach Bar, Bar 1,Bar 2 ) but there is a nuance, the machines are charged with really high-quality and delicious juice, but as soon as half the norm is consumed, the juice is not added, but diluted with water, sometimes the taste reaches the water tinted with a distant taste of fruit, which of course infuriates.
For lemonades, everything is stable, they usually remain undiluted in sealed containers.
Now back to beer, it is also diluted here in the evening, I took "donkey urine" several times, of course, personally, when I wanted beer, it was easier for me to leave the hotel for a 5-minute walk and buy a jar of cold.
Coffee, tea is a separate mystery, coffee machines are in the dining room and in 2 bars. Moreover, the coffee is excellent, there are no complaints. You can have breakfast in the dining room, but not for lunch and dinner! Run to the bar! you will also not find any coffee or tea on the beach! Run to the bar. Tea bags.
About the staff: they are really cultured and responsive here, no matter what, everyone is always friendly and polite, they will always help.
I won't say that the animation is super, but the guys are sincere and well done, they give time to the kids and the adults are trained normally so that they don't sleep. In general, the entertainment is monotonous, but stable, the guys earn their bread for 5 points plus, external actors are also invited, maybe not the most talented, but they also know their business and do not get bored.
There is a small gym, exercise equipment and equipment for 3+ and a lot of things just don't exist, but if desired, this is enough. I will not write anything there, I will write everything before me, everything is true, do not doubt.

Personally, my vacation was great despite the nuances of staying at this hotel.
It's generally fine. The rooms are not super of course (like a Soviet boarding house), but there is a condo. We were generally purple in the room, as we only came there to sleep. They clean it every day. There are about 50% of Egyptians with their families in the hotel. But everyone is friendly. The kitchen is without fantasies, but you can always find meat and fish. The beach bar is chargeable. The pool on the territory is clean, there is a bar next to the pool - everything is OK, only small cups. In general, in Egypt, after the ban on flights from Russia and then covid, everything changed a lot, it is clear that they began to save here and there. A couple of hotels on the first line in Naama Bay are boarded up and abandoned. There are even more abandonments on the second line.
I must say that no one wears masks here. Everyone lives as they lived, without these problems with covid.
Disgusting food! How can you cook so badly?! Yes, you will not stay hungry (you will cram this food into yourself from hunger), but there is almost no pleasure, there is almost nothing delicious. The children's buffet is represented by three trays of tasteless adult food, sometimes the same as at the previous meal. How is that even possible?!
You won't be able to eat quickly either, there are often queues at the distribution, especially at the start of the meal. And so you run back and forth with plates. Tea is served only in the morning in the dining room, then you run to the bar 100 meters away.

On the third day, we went to eat at a nearby hotel for money.
Wi-Fi is only available at the reception, but I still couldn't connect. I had to buy a vodophone SIM card.
Otherwise, everything is fine, the territory is good, the sea is close, the coast is good. There is a small water park (open at certain hours). Swimming pools, including heated ones. The rooms are normal. According to rumors, there are broken ones, but they are being changed. Most of them are single-storey. The food is monotonous and tasteless, but it is 4 stars, so there is something, only sausages and chicken made from meat, which is grilled at the entrance to the dining room, a portion: two sausages and a piece of chicken per person, there is no fish at all. The hotel is overloaded with guests, there are queues of six to ten people for each island of dishes, there are very few free tables, there are a huge number of Arabs with children in the hotel. If you sit at a table on the street in the corner, the table lid is not screwed down with every movement, there is a chance that it will fall on you. The territory of the hotel is small, it resembles a courtyard or a bazaar, it is located on the passage from other hotels, in the evening there was something like an entertainment program of several dances. In general, if not for the condition of the room, the rest is more or less tolerable for 4 people in Egypt, but if such accommodation conditions are given despite the fact that you paid extra money for the room, then it's scary to think that in the rest of the rooms.
