Will I choose this hotel if my finances allow it? Definitely yes. It has everything for a comfortable stay. And even the remoteness does not frighten, closer to the mountains, a beautiful view. Transfer to the beach and Alanya. The food was delicious, the variety was amazing. I do not know the cc during the pandemic. We flew in 2018. There are no pools and a water park. Excellent, one of the best animations. The rooms were cleaned well, towels were changed. The staff is helpful, especially in the restaurant. Chefs, there are a lot of them there, always with a smile, sincere, not strained. There was a foam party. Live sound. The pianist. Fish day, when tuna was cooked, there were mussels, shrimps and so on. We remember it with warmth

We stayed at the Goldcity Hotel from July 28 to August 10, 2022 with a family (2 adults + 2 children). We liked everything very much in general. We stayed in the Eco Room New Block. We were given a room on the 5th floor with a side view of the sea and mountains. But keep in mind that you should not agree to rooms in the new building on the 1st and 2nd floor, as there is a very bad view: some rooms overlook the wall with pipes (so that you will not see daylight). Our room had a fresh designer renovation, new furniture and plumbing, comfortable beds, kettle, hairdryer and safe. The room was cleaned daily: used towels were changed, beds were made, floors were washed, tea and coffee were added, bottled drinking water was renewed. There are no complaints about the number. There was a separate swimming pool with a bar in the building itself, it is also new and very clean, there are few people in it, it is located on the 2nd floor: it is enough to descend and swim for pleasure. The territory of the hotel is very large, it is all well-groomed and clean, there are a lot of flowers. All the movement takes place in the main building: there's food, animation, large pools, evening shows, and a water park nearby. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the main building. You can walk in 6-7 minutes, but then the path will run up steep stairs: not everyone can stand it. There is a shuttle service about 1 time per hour, but we hardly used it. The food is excellent: there are always a lot of different meats (beef, lamb, duck, chicken, lamb, turkey), different types of slaves (tuna, salmon, dorado, etc.), crayfish, a lot of salads, fresh vegetables and fruits, desserts for every taste, about 15 types of cheeses for breakfast. Drinks in bars flow like a river: cocktails, juices from bags, carbonated drinks, water, beer, tea, coffee, etc. It's a long way to the beach (10-15 minutes drive), transfer once an hour, the last bus from the sea at 18:00. For me, buses run rarely (I would like 1 every 30 minutes), plus it would be good to extend their operation for 1-2 hours. The beach itself is not bad: it is long and wide, the entrance to the sea is not ideal, since 2 meters from the shore there are stones in the sea, deep after a few meters. The sea itself is beautiful: clean and very warm, though almost always with waves. There were always free sun beds, there were no problems. There is a bar on the beach with drinks and fast food. Of the disadvantages of the hotel, I note the insufficient number of transfers to the beach and from the villas to the main building, it is far and inconvenient to go to the center of Alanya. But in general, the rest is wonderful, the whole family is delighted: we happily frolicked in the water park, swam in the pools, swam in the sea, drank cocktails and juices, ate delicious food, attended evening shows and didn't care about anything. Well, the views here are simply amazing, and there's nothing to say: it's impossible not to fall in love with them! I can recommend the hotel, it is unlikely that it can make a bad impression.

Great hotel. I liked. We rested with our family for 14 nights. It seemed like a lot, the most optimal 11 nights. The kitchen is great. The beer is normal. The cocktails are delicious. At the end of the rest, the child fell ill with an intestinal infection. They gave nurofen. Probably communal pools or something else. We lived in a villa. We had to climb the slope to the restaurant. Still, it's more convenient with children in the main building, probably, or maybe not. There is a bus ride to the sea in 15 minutes. In the water park, adults need to ride carefully, you can beat off the heels on your feet on some slides, especially in an alcoholic state). Overall impressions are positive)

Everything is perfect, but only at first glance, or a chic hotel and incompetent Anex tour guides with boring excursions.
It takes about 3 hours by transfer from the airport to the hotel. There are hotels much closer, but the price is the quality of this hotel, the pros and cons are lower.
The hotel itself is located on a mountain and you will have to get to the sea on a free shuttle. It takes 8-10 minutes to get to the sea, the transfer runs every hour with a lunch break, at 12:30 and the next one only at 15:00. They send 1-2 buses packed to the brim, come and take seats in advance so as not to ride along the serpentine standing pressed against another person's armpit.
The entrance to the beach is through the bar, which has alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, but they are poured into small plastic cups, people who have not rested for the first time in this hotel took their glasses and thermoses, they are calmly poured into them, well, or take 5 glasses at a time. You can also have lunch there without returning to the hotel, they feed you according to a small menu - I sat down at a table, the waiter came, brought the order. From food: burger, shawarma, nuggets, salads, fruits, French fries, fish, meat balls, rice. The choice is not very large, but you will not get bored for a vacation.
There are not very many sunbeds, if you come by a 10-hour bus, you need to run to borrow, otherwise you will stay sitting at the bar and wait until you get free. It is better to arrive early in the morning, then calmly choose a place.
The sea is made of small pebbles, the entry into the sea is sharp and just a couple of meters away there is a boulder. You climbed on it, walked forward a little and you will be at depth. There is nothing to see in the sea itself, the depth is not small before the buoys, the bottom is visible, but there is only sand and if you are lucky you will meet 1-2 fish. You don't have to take masks with you. You can go into the sea without special slippers, the main thing is to get used to the boulder.
The only animation on the beach is volleyball, the animator cools the sand and types commands. As usual, anyone can join the game.
But in the hotel itself, animation works almost non-stop. Sunday is a day off.
There is a mini club for children, where they are entertained all day, from 10 to 17, with a lunch break. Mini golf, mini bowling, aquagrim, pizza and cake cooking, UNO, evening mini disco and much more. At the end of the day, the most active are awarded diplomas for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
For adults: yoga, aqua aerobics, step, water polo, bowling, darts, air shooting, table tennis. In the evening, at 20:45, a mini disco begins, awarding diplomas to children who participated in the activities of the day and then a show program for adults: acrobats, a fire show, the best couple of the hotel, bingo. All events are different and designed for 2 weeks, the schedule of which can be seen at almost every step.
A bottle of wine and a plate of fruit will be brought to the room for the birthday, you can also talk with the animators and they will invite the birthday boy to the stage before the evening show begins. Congratulations will be held under light music, a fountain of sparks and a present in the form of a cocktail and balloons. Additionally, you can order a cake that the birthday boy will blow out right on stage.
The hotel is huge. The main building consists of 16 floors, there are many villas around and a new building. A little bit about the rooms:
The new building (Eco) is located at a great distance from the main one, 10-15 minutes away on foot or by transfer once an hour. It will be a long way to entertainment and lunch, many people paid extra to check into the main one.
Villa - if you are lucky, it may be nearby, or it may be at a distance of a new building. The villas are a separate house with a kitchen and a swimming pool. But before entertainment and food, you will also have to climb the hill.
The main building. Everything is nearby, go down only by elevator, and the view from the room is of the mountains and the sea. 16 floors, 6 high-speed elevators. The room is about 40 meters with a double bed, a comfortable extra sofa and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, a loggia with two entrances. There are also two-room suites for large families.
The rooms are beautiful, but shabby. Someone's shower was leaking; the handle from the bathroom door was coming off; the taps were rusted and did not open well; cracked walls and ceilings. All these little things do not interfere much and are not particularly noticeable, but very picky people will have to go to negotiate a change of number
There is a panoramic restaurant on the 16th floor, it serves only the menu for a fee.
On the 1st floor there is a burger bar, a disco from 00:00 to 4:00 and an Ala Kart restaurant. Everything on this floor is for a fee. You can sign up for Ala Kart once per trip for free, but not earlier than 4 days before departure. In order not to forget, you can sign up on the very first day. The dishes are all delicious, except pizza, there is dough from pies in it.
On the 2nd floor there is a free gym, hammam, indoor pool. Additionally, you can order a massage for $ 35.
1st floor. There is a large hall, a reception and a table for working with guests. It is there that they will solve problems with the room or make reservations for tables in the above-described restaurants.
The main restaurant offers a variety of food, you can't describe it all. The only thing that is the basis is chicken, pasta, potatoes, salads. But they cook differently every time, and everyone will definitely find something to eat.
There are several pools on the street: children's, water polo, aqua aerobics and Olympic with tracks. In each of them it is possible for both adults and children. The children's playground includes several slides.
There is a
bar around the pool. Various cocktails are poured there, and there is even a menu. Dairy or juice products for children, any mixture that you ask for for adults. But not all cocktails know, there is a small menu on the counter that will definitely be mixed, but at the request and for a few $ tips, the necessary ingredients will be mixed in equal proportions.
There are several bars where they will make tortillas with cheese, pour tea or give ice cream. But they only work during the day for a limited time. There is also a snack bar where delicious pizza and other snacks are served on the menu and you can have a snack instead of lunch.
On the opposite side from the pool, next to the amphitheater, where evening events are held, there is a water park. It works for 2 hours in the afternoon, but that's enough time. There are several straight slides, closed and several on which to descend in circles, for children there are several small slides with fountains.
The staff is all friendly, they speak Russian, not everyone knows English.
Next, I will describe several excursions, for a more correct choice of rest (who read for the sake of a review about the hotel, thank you for your attention):
I did not like the excursions, they were taken with the expectation of a child, without long trips and walking. Consider others at once, as there are many interesting places where you can spend your vacation time.
1. Seapark with a dolphin show that lasts only 45 minutes. After the show, they offer to buy a photo with a dolphin or a seal, the cost depends, as we were told, on the number of people on it. $ 30 - a navy seal, $ 35 - 2 people with a dolphin, $ 50 - three people with a dolphin. After the show, free time by the pool, but the pool is much better at the hotel. As promised, it will be big with tropical fish, as it turned out, only local gray roach and several stingrays are among the fish. Masks are given out for free to swim and look at them. They gave $158 for three people, but this is such a boring place that after a few hours every person in the hearing area wanted to go back to the hotel. The guide was boring and rude, but we saw her twice when boarding the bus, and these times we didn't hear anything from her. Don't waste your time and money.
2. Sightseeing tour of Alanya. This time, $108 was given to the guide. This is a bus tour with several stops. A small 2-storey church with a shop. A wine cellar where prices are 1.5 - 2 times more expensive than in any bazaar or store. The fortress has a good view, but very crooked and high stairs. A cave with stalactites and stairs 310 meters long (spoiler, at the end you won't see anything, just a stalagmite in the shape of a woman with a child, located in the distance), walking up stairs for a long time, not for this. And a 1.5 hour hike on a huge yacht, which I think is better to take it separately and for the whole day. For an amateur, but for a variety of rest it will do.
It is not worth taking excursions from hotel guides at all, each of the guides was afraid that there was no return transfer to the hotel on the street and other stories about insurance and food. But as it turned out, the quality can be much worse than that of the street, while the prices are 1.5 - 2 times more expensive.
As a result, it is a very worthwhile hotel if you want to relax and distract the children from you. But it is not for relaxing on the sea itself, it is not very convenient to get there, all the fun and infrastructure is on site. We will definitely come here again.

The impression of the hotel is twofold. For us, such a huge hotel turned out to be a big "minus". We moved into a new block, the room and the rooftop pool are just super, very pleasant and helpful staff! but these walks in the heat to the main building are really exhausting! The food was good, but at the end of the 10-day rest everything was already boring, there were no frills, sushi was given 2 times, but the first time they were completely inedible, the second time - OK. I liked the spa, I took a massage course for myself and the children. What I didn't like was the crowds of people, there are a lot of children in the pools and in the water park, they scream and splash, there are long queues on the slides, I didn't want to stand there in the sun at all... There were also children in the relaxation pool, although there is a 16+ sign, but the parents did not seem to notice it. At sea, due to the fact that you need to go by bus, there are fewer people) The room cleaning is mediocre, and the whole hotel didn't seem clean enough, and the toilets by the pools and on the beach are terribly dirty and smelly (( In general, the whole vacation was spent in constant movement of the room-restaurant-water park-pools-sea, and it's all far away, so somehow I didn't rest at all...

We were there twice with the whole family. A place for those who are torn between the sea and the mountains. A shuttle bus rides regularly to the sea, and you can walk to the mountains, forests, ancient ruins and palm groves. But it is unlikely that you will rush anywhere from two huge swimming pools, a coffee shop with Turkish coffee and a "bir bira" by the side of the basik. The hotel is absolutely self-sufficient.

I liked the hotel! a huge green area, everything you need is there:several pools, a water park, many bars. Animation for both children and adults is excellent. The main restaurant is spacious-there is enough space for everyone. The food is delicious, the choice of dishes is large. The hotel is an ambush. Only problems!!!!!! Do not live in hotel villas. Getting from there to the main building is a challenge!!!! Uphill in the heat........ Cleaning is only one name. Bathrooms simply do not exist for them. There are dirty and smelly umbrellas by the pool. The attitude is just tin! And if you want to go to the sea, then you must definitely catch the bus, which runs not constantly, but several times a day. Moreover, from 13 to 15-30 there is a break and at 18-00 the last one from the beach. If you don't have time, get there as you want!!! Would you like some ice cream? The hotel is not located on the shore, but a scheduled shuttle service to the beach and back is organized.
The Goldcity Hotel's beach can be reached on foot in about 40 minutes.
The hotel is located on a hill: the main building is on top of a hill and a large number of 2-3 storey bungalows on the slope.
We rested in the main building, so we are very satisfied. Living in a bungalow, I think, is less comfortable, you will have to spend a lot of time moving around.

Riding a shuttle that runs every 30-40 minutes and being dependent on it for a vacation is not the coolest pleasure). If you decide to stay on the beach after 7 pm, then get to the hotel only by taxi or on foot, an hour and a half). A little bit about the beach: keep in mind that when entering the sea there are slabs on which you can break your legs or smash your head if the sea is at least a little worried.
Despite the fact that the hotel is huge, there is also nowhere to walk. A 3-minus meal, all the variety lies in the fact that you are served chicken in different types: boiled, stewed, stewed in vegetables left over from previous meals, and so on. Meat was seen 2 times in 12 days, and there is always the same fish "like sea bass" terribly over-dried on the grill. There are no pastries for breakfast at all. At lunch and dinner, the pastries are modest... By the end of the rest, we went into the dining room, did a lap of honor around the food distribution areas and went to eat in the city, in a cafe. Alcohol and alcoholic beverages are terrible, all on a chemical basis. The beach bar is just a mockery, there is never a full range, maximum: gin, water, cola and local wine, which is impossible to drink, sometimes this list is not the whole thing... Although the hotel positions that all bars have the same assortment. And despite the fact that the beach is until 19-00, the bar closes at 17-00, some food can be taken until 16-00. For some reason, in Goldcity, unlike other hotels, all receptions are at the same time. That is, if you have not had breakfast before 11 for some reason, then you can only eat at lunch, no earlier than 12-30. That is, you will be hungry for half a day... In other hotels, snack bars open just between main meals (breakfast-lunch-dinner). In the same way, in the evening, if you did not eat before 16-30 in the afternoon, then you will have dinner, which starts at 18-30. The animation is disgusting, there is nothing to do in the evening, so if you are going to the hotel, then take board games, a music column and preferably your own alcohol with you). What the hotel offers in the evenings: a mini disco, and then something like a show in the style of the last century .., a la Mr. and Mrs. Goldicity, complete horror. Once a week, an incomprehensible "musician" arrives, who sings foreign hits and Turkish songs with guitar and backing tracks, but in such a quality and so mournfully that by the end of the performance, a maximum of 3-5 people from the front row remain from the audience, who were embarrassed to get up and leave right in front of him. If you are counting on a more cheerful pastime, then this is not there. Russian Russians, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Europeans... For example, in Utopia (a hotel near Goldcity), a chic cover band performs 2-3 times a week, with an excellent repertoire (foreign, Turkish and Russian hits), to which everyone sings and dances - Turks, Russians, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Europeans...) In Goldcity, mostly people sit stupidly by the pool and drinks the swill that is served there. Summary: Don't waste your money on this hotel, it's not worth it. The level of food, alcohol, entertainment, and service is a maximum of 3*. As the locals told us later, Goldcity is a hotel for suckers ...
P.S. I am surprised at the number of positive reviews, apparently the hotel and ANEX write themselves, because I have not seen such a number of scandals at the reception for various reasons in any hotel, neither in Turkey, nor in Russia, nor in other countries.

My friend and I had a rest from 25.09 to 3.10.20g.A great hotel with a wonderful view of the sea and mountains. I'll start from the beginning. e from the airport. The bus was comfortable with air conditioning and a Russian-speaking guide who told a little story of this region. The bus was half full due to the coronavirus, we were immediately offered free masks and antiseptic. We arrived at the hotel at 11h30m, were on the road for 3h30min., check-in at the hotel according to the schedule at 14h, but if you leave a tip at the reception desk, they can check in earlier. We were settled in 10 minutes . The room for 2 is standard with air conditioning and excellent views of the sea and mountains. The linen is clean and white, the room is clean, cleaned daily and the bed was changed, tips also help very well. The territory is well maintained, clean and beautiful. Nutrition: not to say that it is very diverse, but you will not be hungry, there are a lot of vegetables in all kinds, seasonal fruits and desserts, baklava was simply divine. Every day, steamed or grilled fish is mostly red, very tasty. Meat is chicken, pork, a couple of times there was mutton. Drinks are plentiful, I haven't tried alcohol, I can't say about the quality, juices from packs. The disadvantage of this hotel is that it is tied to a bus that takes you to the sea every hour and back, i.e. you need to adjust. There are plenty of sun beds on the beach. It's too bad that there are no smoking areas on the beach and in the hotel, i.e. you can breathe not only the clean sea air but also the neighbor's cigarette smoke. Animation for children works perfectly, adults would like to be more active. In general, the hotel is very nice, clean and beautiful.

Everything is great. Rooms, food, service, water park, bar, pools for 5+. The only caveat is the local wifi. I think this is not a question of this hotel alone, but of the infrastructure of the town as a whole. If you need something more than posting photos and reading the Internet, you need to take a local SIM card with a mobile Internet package. A 25GB package cost $20 plus a $10 taxi.
