Not a bad hotel, 3⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Kazakhstan.
We were comfortable with the location. From the outside it looks more pompous than the internal "kitchen". The room was given first on the 2nd floor, everything was very bad: the shower is leaking, up to the corridor, did not work well, then boiling water, then cold; on the bed there is a mattress with ribs and springs - like from the 90s. One towel, for two, I had to ask for extra. And there was no hair dryer, none at all. When I asked for a hairdryer, they moved us and gave us a room on the 4th floor, there was a modern mattress, a shower, and a hairdryer.
But I personally lacked the usual items in 3⭐️⭐️⭐️
1) cotton swabs, discs.
2) an ordinary electric kettle, this is not much, considering that in Kazakhstan they drink a lot of tea!
Service: people are not in a hurry at the reception. And not friendly.
In the kitchen: it was a pity for one woman, because she herself collected and washed dishes with her hands in an age when a dishwasher washes faster and spends water more economically.
Food: it's varied +, but the time for breakfast is from 7:00-9:00!!!! And when you come at 8:30, the variety of food ends, and is not replenished - this is a minus.
Cleanliness: at a good level.
There are pitfalls, or price opacity: for example 1) I wanted coffee beans, and it's paid! 2) water in the room is also paid. Maybe the guys on the ground decided so, because I read the previous reviews, and people wrote that the water in the room is free, but we have a price tag. In Europe, this hotel would be considered 2 ⭐️⭐️, and in India 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, therefore, it depends on what to compare it with.
And I understood that the attitude towards visitors directly depends on his passport, they treat foreigners a little better, and their own a little worse. I felt it for myself, I am a citizen of Kazakhstan, but I live in Europe, my husband is a foreigner. They registered the number on me to make it easier to pay everywhere, and it's not very nice when we were given everything bad at first, and then normal. This is a minus. And it pulls on 1⭐️ because, in fact, a good building can be built, but who will manage it and how, how much depends on it.

I lived in a deluxe room for 25k tenge per day, a standard room with a sofa (quite new), the mattress is not sagged, the linen is clean, but it is already visible that it is worn out. Rooms are cleaned every day, towels are clean. The water is always hot, only the faucet worked very inaccurately and sometimes poured boiling water at the slightest shift.
Opposite is a good Turkish cafe, delicious, cheap. The location is generally not bad.

The room looks better in the pictures than in real life. Our room had only one outlet in the room and one in the bathroom for a hair dryer, this was sorely lacking. There were no lamps near the bedside tables, there was no kettle in the room, a set of towels was for one person in a double room. They cleaned every day. The breakfasts are not bad.
