I definitely recommend a visit. Initially, I did not want to go there, I saw enough various monuments and memorials, but Khatyn is something completely different. The performance conveys as much as possible the whole tragedy that occurred in this place.
I really want to visit. Impressions from childhood, when I learned about this place... There's no way to do it, you can't rewrite it. You can destroy it, but a new crime will not justify the old one. Eternal memory to the fallen, defending their land, their loved ones, their home...
The atmosphere is quite specific, heavy. But if you live in Belarus or were passing through here, it's worth visiting here, as well as the Brest fortress.
It is very difficult for everyone to visit the territory here, especially teenagers. It would be nice to bring every novice Nazi-Fascist here...Eternal memory of the dead.We grieve and remember
It is very informative to visit with children, I recommend taking a guide (or joining some group for free). There are very few souvenirs. A lot has changed since my last visit, including the three birch trees that were "updated". I recommend visiting the memorial periodically, not on a one-time basis.
There are no words. You just have to get there. With a soul. With indifference to the Second World War. There is a huge territory, admission is free if you do not plan to visit the museum. Bells are ringing throughout the memorial complex every 30 seconds in memory of the victims. The whole horror of the tragedy in these moments will make anyone who has a heart think.
A place of sorrow! Such a powerful energy in this place, it was breathtaking! And what words are written, I cried!!! We also want to go, but with a guide, otherwise it didn't work out last time!!!
I don't really remember the tour as a child. Last year I went with my husband and daughter. bypassed. a silent place that makes you think. about the horror that gripped our country during the war. The number of prisoners killed is appalling. The museum ticket is 2 rubles. There are photos, documents.
as an addition, you can go to Dalva nearby (this is the "sister" of Khatyn). There are almost no excursions there, but there is also a memorable place there. a small village, warmed to the ground with people shortly before the liberation of Belarus.
You need to go to such places!
A very strong place. It is necessary to visit it to honor the memory of those who died in the war. The complex is striking from the very beginning, getting there, you begin to feel the whole tragedy of the war more deeply.
The people working there are always ready to help and provide information.
This place does not leave anyone indifferent! When you enter, you immediately immerse yourself in the atmosphere of wartime and realize what atrocities the fascists committed. It's a very sad place.
Being in Belarus and not visiting Khatyn is like being in Volgograd and not visiting Mamayev Kurgan. Therefore, being in Khatyn is a civic duty of everyone who came to Belarus.
As soon as you enter the territory of the complex, you already understand how unacceptable fascism is. Organization of excursions: gastina2009@mail.ru ; www.gastina .by; el.com/gastina2009. We had a guide from them. My name is Vladimir. He knows the history perfectly well.
We stopped here after the weekend in Brest and Minsk. This is a place where everyone needs to visit, just like in the Brest fortress. Here you understand (even without a guide) what a horror was going on in the Great Patriotic War. It's hard to describe in words what you feel. You definitely need to stop by if you are in these parts. Peace and kindness to all!

The place is certainly worth a visit. The very atmosphere in the memorial is mournful, every 30 seconds. The bells are ringing in the stylized stoves of village huts.Admission is free, but if you book a tour, it's about 2 rubles per person, in my opinion. In my opinion, there are not enough benches in the memorial itself, if you go around the entire territory completely, it will take 1-1.5 hours of time, I was with a 4.5-year-old child, and he was very tired and had to go to the exit to the parking lot.And I wouldn't mind sitting down myself, if I had the opportunity. There is a free toilet, a large parking lot. There were many buses from Russia, excursions, cars with Lithuanian plates.I don't want to go back there again, I went once and that's enough.
The memorial makes a very strong impression. If possible, I strongly recommend visiting anyone who wants to better understand the history of the Great Patriotic War and realize the value of Victory
A place of memory and sorrow. It is mandatory for everyone who has not been. And first of all, children and teenagers. So that the memory of these events does not disappear into the generations.
You know... There are places that have their own power. And this is one of those. And the power here is terrible, it is difficult to describe in words, but it is very easy to feel. It crushes and devours, you don't want to stay here, but you can't leave. It's a scary place that everyone should visit.
A place worth visiting for everyone. In order to remember and know. The sensations are very strong. The creators really managed to convey "THAT" atmosphere.
A very atmospheric place with its tragic history. It is a pity that the Belarusian authorities save money and the memorial is not illuminated at night, although it was illuminated earlier and it was at night that the place conveyed a complete sense of tragedy.
I would like to stand in the place where the inhabitants of Khatyn burned and read about the Ukrainian accomplices whose cruelty amazed even the fascists. If this black marble structure is the shed, why not sign it. The purpose of the empty cement slabs vertically installed along the paths and the similarity of wells is unclear. Otherwise, the memorial was impressive. I also found familiar names of villages burned down during the war
I liked the eternal flame and the ringing of the bells
An incredibly mournful and large-scale place where it is simply impossible to hold back tears. In silence, the bells on the obelisks in the form of chimneys ring every 30 seconds, and goosebumps run down my skin. Against the background of beautiful nature, you feel the horror of the events that took place here, it is very difficult psychologically. I consider it a must-visit place for children to know and remember our history.
There is only one country left in the world where memory is truly honored and grief is remembered, I was here with my family, impressions for a lifetime, 70 years have passed and everything around is crying...

A very strong place. I advise you to visit. Belarusians are doing well! They keep eternal memory. I've been to this complex twice in the spring, on May holidays. It is located in the forest, silence and beauty, a special impression is made by the bells, rolling out their ringing in the silence of the forest.
A very strong impression was left from visiting this place. The ringing of the bell pierced to the very heart! The tragedy of the people was felt in every cell . A low bow to the people who preserve the memorial.
A powerful place for energy. A complex that needs to be visited. It makes it clear how much a person can be cruel. There is a museum at the complex in which letters from survivors and the military have been preserved, it is very difficult to read without tears, realizing the horror of what is happening.
An incredible place. It was very hard to be there, but this is a topic for a separate conversation, and as part of a review for a place to visit - just five points. The most perfect order in the complex, convenient Parking, decent toilet, quite professional guides.
It's a terribly difficult place. I think that everyone should visit it so that people do not forget what war and fascism are. I often travel to Belarus and I can say for sure that Belarusians are real patriots of their country. For this, I treat them with great respect and love.
Whenever I visit this place (the first time is me, the little one in the photo from 1970), there is a lump in my throat... Children's toys are being touched to tears at the Sarai monument. People, if you're coming here, take at least one toy and put it to the kids who were killed....
One of the most atmospheric places dedicated to the Second World War, I come to this place for the second time and every time emotions go through the roof.
the atmosphere is very mournful, I didn't want to stop by, but the family insisted. It is useful for those to whom WWII is not an empty forgotten moment of history, and who want to pass on to children the memory of those years and the cruelty of fascism.
An iconic place that you need to visit at least once in your life.
An indelible impression.
For those who go to the annual parade called the "Immortal Regiment", I definitely advise you to visit here.

The silence is deathly, rhythmically broken by the ringing of bells in the places of the houses that stood here. The place is fascinating and scary with its history. The museum complex is maintained in good condition, cleanliness everywhere. You need to be prepared to visit - to know what happened here and how. What he saw will complement the picture of understanding the madness created in this place by the fascists.
A place that is mandatory for the younger generation to visit. To be remembered. Thank you very much to Belarusians for honoring the memory themselves and not letting others forget about such a terrible tragedy on a global scale
One of the few monuments that so cling to the soul, I advise you to take a guided tour with a story.... but just to go and read to the sound of bells ...... a very strong place.....
A sad place! Everything is amazingly done! I honor history, I share the pain. Both grandfathers died in that war. It's bad that the signs are only in Belarusian! This is the pain of the entire Soviet people. The Russian language united us. And the soldiers fought for one land.
It is a difficult and mournful place. From the first seconds it takes your breath away and makes your heart beat faster. It's very exciting and painful. Knowing the story, you fall out of real time and you can feel the whole tragedy with your soul. The ringing of bells, the cemetery of villages, the mass grave of residents and "courtyards" with lists of families, bright sun and green grass, lush flowering as a contrast - this is very strong... You leave the village a different person and for a long time the memory does not let go.
I was here as a child, it's nice that the memory lasts a lifetime. I showed my grandson and told him everything I know, let him tell his children and grandchildren.
