when i was in the Karimbek i was happy that the food was prepared for me quickly and very tasty. the atmosphere there is always wonderful, beautiful music plays and the staff is very polite. never had problems with parking. the prices for food are affordable and the food is worth the money. never had any misunderstandings. i often have dinner there with my family and two years in a row i celebrated my birthday there

Good atmosphere with extensive location in the city and friendly staff 👌 but they have some problems with customer service and greeting guests but meals was enjoyable and made with expressions

Restaurant well below its pretensions: lousy service despite the abundance of staff twiddling their thumbs. More than 40 minutes between the salad and the main course while 5 minutes announced by the server and another 20 minutes of waiting for dessert. We saw 3 tables arrive after us who had time to order, be served and finish their meal while we were still waiting for our dishes. The table was wobbly, we told 3 servers and the manager pretended not to understand. Same for the bill after 20 minutes still nothing: we got up and they came running for fear that we would leave without paying. 500,000 sums each, 10 times more expensive than elsewhere in Uzbekistan and poor service and dishes no better than in a popular café: avoid!

I don't recommend this restaurant! I have a lesson from my personal experience.
I visited there with my 6 friends at night on the 19th of June, 2023. Ordered a big traditional beef "assortment"(see the attached photo). We were left approximately 40 minutes without attention, and a "special" meal came 50 minutes later than the order. Surprisingly, almost all the waiters were busy by helping a birthday celebration of another client: holding cake like an army, singing together with those clients.
A long waited meal turned out to be totally saltless. There was no manager to listen to our complaints. Every waiter that heard us kept disappearing surprisingly. After several calls, we received confirmation from the chef that the meal was saltless. We were very disappointed with the very poor attitude towards clients. I DON'T RECOMMEND THE PLACE.

If you're for short-term visit in Samarkand and have lack of time for gastronomy researching, you can visit this place. Very big assortment of local and foreign foods. Pretty average kitchen, not the best tastes, very poor service.

A perfectly functioning mechanism, where everything is fine: the kitchen, cleanliness, freshness of products, the friendliness of the waiters and the care of the managers. The restaurant, which is always packed, they feed the number of guests every day like at a wedding. And the food is very decent. We lived in Samarkand for a week, and dined here all evenings. And it's also a place where life is in full swing - locals, foreigners, tourists, children and the elderly - everyone is chatting, laughing and enjoying dinner. Tables and chairs are assembled and disassembled in any combination - it doesn't matter if 2 guests or 10 come in, everyone will be fed.

A great restaurant!!! The menu is very rich, it is difficult to choose, I want to try everything, the portions are huge, everything is very tasty. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There are a lot of visitors, but they serve quickly, in the absence of any dish, they offer a replacement. Our group was most impressed by the "crisps" - eggplant, sliced and fried like chips. for me personally, there were a couple of disadvantages - they serve one menu, even if there are 3 people at the table. You always have to ask for more and wait. It's probably just the way it's done. If you ask to put what you haven't finished with yourself, then you will receive a separate bill for packaging, packaging and collection. It's a bit wild, considering that it's been free everywhere for a long time. But apparently it's different here. And the kitchen itself is gorgeous, the service is good. No one is sharing, everyone is just doing their job and creating a comfortable atmosphere. I really liked the meat, soups and desserts. I recommend going there at least once. And yes, unlike Samarkand, I liked this restaurant much more.

My family and I spent 12 days in Samarkand.

However, from the very first visit, and all the following days, we were glad that our choice was made correctly. Karimbek, this is comfort, respect and great attention from the first step.
The administrators will choose the best place. The waiters take orders and serve very quickly. It is immediately clear THAT THE STRENGTH LIES IN THE UNITY OF ALL. They will ask if everything is fine, the dishes will be brought, clean after each new dish. They are very attentive and kind . The dishes are very tasty and varied. The fruit tea is divine. The price will pleasantly surprise you. AND HOW DELICIOUS ALL THE DISHES ARE ... PRICE AND QUALITY. We liked everything.

In fact, there are three accommodation options: a noisy hall with dancing and music, a covered veranda with sofas (our favorite option), there are also places on the second floor up the stairs.
There are no questions about the kitchen, it's always delicious!
The white wine is not all chilled, ice was brought on request.
There are a lot of waiters, they work actively, but sometimes there are problems (Either new, or "translation difficulties", but it is logical to put an employee with knowledge of the language to serve the table with foreigners), there are admins, they help.

You didn't come for nothing! We found it purely based on reviews and did not lose it. It's cozy and beautiful inside, the service is just another universe, the guys and girls waiters are great! Everything is delivered very quickly. We ordered local wine, 100 times better than Spanish, and dishes with lamb and potatoes. The meat is soft, the taste is incomparable, the French fries are divine, I have never eaten such a delicious one anywhere in Samarkand. In general, I also get 5 stars for the food, for the service, for the manager, who looks like a deputy 😁

The rating of the institution is definitely too high.
The dishes of traditional Uzbek cuisine barely reach 3 out of 5 points.
Inside, the place is of course clean and cozy, but the staff themselves, and especially the administrators, are not very friendly, so I cannot call staying in the institution comfortable. The waiter did not speak Russian at all, so communication was very difficult. The dishes were served 40 minutes after the order, during which time everyone had already eaten a flatbread.
And it was especially annoying that the receptionist was literally waiting above us to make room for us.
In general, I do not recommend the institution, there are more comfortable and tastier establishments in Samarkand.
