The Kyndyg hot thermal springs in Abkhazia are a real treasure hidden among the picturesque nature. This place impresses with its unusual atmosphere and healing properties. The springs themselves are located in the open air, which is especially pleasant, since you can swim in hot pools surrounded by greenery and mountains. The water here is rich in minerals, and its properties have a beneficial effect on the skin and the general condition of the body.
There are several pools with different water temperatures, which allows you to choose the best option, and mud baths, which are considered especially useful for the skin and joints. The springs themselves are well equipped: comfortable recreation areas, changing rooms, small cafes – everything for a comfortable stay. In addition, there is enough space for everyone, and even in high season you can find your own cozy corner.
I have been going to the source since 2012, the organizers are certainly doing well for recreation and treatment. Every year they continue to improve and decorate this place. This year, the sunbeds were changed under the jets of the hydro massage (but the boards on the sunbeds were not processed, they were simply sawn and screwed, the edges were not rounded, the chamfers were removed at least with a plane. It is not pleasant to crash into the body) The time of stay is recommended less and less. They reduce it every year. From half an hour to 5 minutes. And this is all to spend more excursions. The owners became very greedy. On the contrary, the price rises and rises every year. It's like they're heating it up themselves. I understand when I came with an excursion, you can pay 300 rubles once, but if it takes 7-10 days, it's already expensive. Come up with some kind of visiting subscriptions. Once 500 rubles, three times 300, five visits 250, 10 - 200 rubles each.
An amazing wellness place. Nature heals us. I've been there twice already and I hope it won't be the last. It is best to drive in winter, it is very hot in summer. Bathing in hot mineral water and hydro massage is just a miracle. It is necessary to increase the cost of visiting to improve and enlarge this place. 300 rubles from year to year, this is very little, of course I am surprised that the cost of visiting does not get more expensive. For development, it is necessary to raise the cost, at least once a year.
We had a very fun day with the family at the springs, the children were delighted with the warm water and mud baths. Cool hydro massage with warm water. There is a cafe on site (the food is delicious) and delicious ice cream / popcorn, so you can safely come for the whole day.
This is my favorite place near Sukhumi.
It's especially cool to visit it in autumn and winter when it's cool outside - and you can get into a warm pool with some water.
I am very pleased that the conditions at the springs are improving from year to year, and the territory is being equipped.
There you can: lie in a pool with very hot and moderately warm water with hydrogen sulfide (if I know correctly), smear yourself with clay, stand under strong pressure of natural water - this is the coolest thing - especially on the back and lower back - and then, as if in a fairy tale, a Humpbacked Horse - get younger by 20 years))
I advise you to visit and diversify your vacation in Sukhumi. The price is 300 rubles - and it's worth it.
It's just a great place!!!
If you approach their visit with your head, you will feel just fine!!! There is a children's paddling pool, there is a hot water pool, there is very hot water, there is a small font with Artazean cold water. There is also boiling water from the pipes falling from a height of about 5 meters, I did not go there. I've seen psychos who sit under these jets until they burn and blister.
If you have brains, I recommend visiting. Perfect in cool weather!!
I really liked it! We were in September 2024, the entrance fee for an adult is 300₽
There are several changing rooms, open, but with changing booths. They didn't find a soul, but they didn't really look for it. The springs are hot, especially on the left side of 3-4 pcs.
Pools with different temperature conditions. For children, an inflatable slide with a descent into the pool. The cost is 200₽ an hour, 300 all day
Cafe. You can pay by card or by transfer, in cash. A very tasty boat!!! There is a lot of kharcho meat, but the soup itself is greasy. French fries are not a large portion at all (150₽).
There is mud, But this is for amateurs, the mud lake is a little overgrown with grass.
Thermal springs, especially in winter, when the air temperature is +12-15 degrees, are a great feeling! Admission to the springs is 300 rubles per person. Before entering, you can buy tangerines, lemons, persimmons, etc. The complex has 4 pools with water of different temperatures, from hot to slightly warm, for lovers of contrast there are barrels with running cold water. For hydro massage, there is a zone where the thermal water from the pipes falls from a height and you can substitute various parts of the body. Changing rooms are located next to the pools, next to changing rooms. There is a place where you can smear the body with healing mud. There are tents on the territory of the complex where you can have a snack, mulled wine, tea and other drinks. I recommend visiting the thermal springs!
Several pools Went on an excursion from the city of Pitsunda - the road is quite long, the springs are located 30 km from Sukhum.
Admission for adults costs 300 rubles, for children under 6 years old — free of charge. Boiling water from the well is fed into the pools through pipes and cools down to 35-45 ° C on the way. For those who want to cool off, there are barrels of cold water on the territory of the baths. A hydro massage shower, from the gutters of which powerful jets of thermal water fall. There are mud lakes on the territory of both thermal complexes, from where visitors take therapeutic mud. Tourists smear themselves from head to toe and relax in the sun while the mud dries. Wash off the dirt under the hydromassage jets.
The water of the springs is siliceous chloride calcium-sodium. It contains silicon, useful for the skin, sulfur — for joints, magnesium, potassium, sodium — for the heart, bromine — for peace of mind.
The main indications for its use are: diseases of the heart and blood vessels, problems of the musculoskeletal system, diseases of the nervous system, diseases of the skin, genitourinary system and gastrointestinal tract, as well as the effects of radiation exposure and radiation sickness. Hydrogen sulfide waters are also useful for healthy people: they prevent the development of many diseases and generally strengthen the immune system.
Experts recommend staying in a hydrogen sulfide pool for no longer than 15-20 minutes at a time and doing no more than three dives a day with breaks of 10-15 minutes. It is recommended to lie under the jets of the hydromassage shower for up to 5 minutes. A single visit to thermal springs also benefits the body: after swimming pools, hydro massage and mud baths, a person comes out refreshed and full of energy, looks younger, feels calmer and sleeps well.
A great place where you can improve your health. It was 8 years ago, improvements are visible, the territory has been improved a little. Of course, there are a lot of people, but the queues for water massage are not so big. The only thing that upset me was that there was less dirt. Previously, you could climb into it and swim, now they have moved it to another place and the mud has become ankle-deep.
A good place to relax. In cool weather, in spring and autumn, it is wonderful to get warm. Several pools, from super hot to cool, have mud. Very tasty hodgepodge in the on-site cafe, rich and lots of meat!! Only good impressions remained.
Great! Water in four pools of different temperatures. The first one is really hot! There are two large barrels of cold water that you can plunge into with your head. There is a cafe. The toilet is paid. There is a huge parking lot in front of the entrance, the cost is 50 rubles. You can stay overnight at the motorhome for free, that's what I did. It is necessary to come for the whole day and slowly enjoy and recover. I recommend.
A wonderful place to relax! I advise everyone! Hot spring, tangerine juice and the smell of eucalyptus trees. Paradise and nothing more! The territory is clean, palm trees and cacti grow. The staff is polite. Have a rest, you won't regret it!
The springs are super, we spent 5 hours there, because it was cold outside, and the springs are very nice, clean, beautiful, there is a cafe nearby where you can have a delicious meal, also on the territory of the locker room and toilet, though paid
But the impressions were only good
I love this place only out of season.
I rent a car at the border, although minibuses come here from the station. Comfortable.
Admission is 300 rubles. The cost has not changed for several years. Special thanks for that. In Gagra, a hydrogen sulfide bath costs 600 rubles at the Balneological Center.
I brought a swimsuit, slippers, a towel and a thermos with tea. If you add thyme or lime to it...
I don't eat there. It was a sad experience.
Tea, coffee - the price is like in good restaurants in Abkhazia. Therefore, take it with you!
Of course, maybe something delicious has already appeared there, the last time I ate there was about three years ago.
About the source itself - three pools of different temperatures, hydro massage, mud further along the territory. I don't smear dirt here. I don't like this ditch. It's well done in Primorsky. A pebble-lined pool. The mud is clean without pebbles and grass. I've never smeared myself here, although I've been there 20 times.
By the way, new benches with awnings have been built since last year, but I don't think there are enough places in the season anyway.
The toilet is paid for. The absurdity) It bothers me, because I think some economists relieve themselves in pools.
Great, I really liked it, we went on our own in a car with a company. There are changing rooms on the territory where you can change clothes, parking was given 50 rubles. Hangers and benches to leave your belongings .several pools with different water temperatures , hydrogen sulfide mud . And hydro massage with hot and comfortable water , all this natural water is already pouring out of the ground .there are cafes nearby , the toilet is paid but not expensive (I don't remember exactly how much ) 😍❤️I advise you to go who hasn't been yet , relax
I love Abkhazia, the year 2025 was celebrated there. It was probably my tenth time :)
Traditionally, Kyndig is one of the main locations in the land of the soul. We love it very much, and lately it's been nice to see how the place is changing for the better - you can feel the presence of civilization, many tents with delicious food and souvenirs have opened, there is wi-fi. Four pools with different temperatures: like a hot tub (I think it's about 40 degrees of water), a second pool with warm, comfortable water (deep enough), and 2 more cooler pools. There is also clay (where to go without it :) and a Charcot shower.
All in all, it's a great place to relax and unwind with a glass of mulled wine, especially in winter. But be prepared that after the procedures you will really want to sleep) Calculate your strength. I definitely recommend you to visit!) Especially appreciated by those who are in Abkhazia for the first time)
All in all, a great place! I didn't walk in the mud, and the waterfalls and pools are super! But there are nuances:
1. Paid toilet on site. Everyone is bathing and then they need to go to the toilet, and there is a 10₽ entrance.
And everyone has change in a special pocket on their trunks... yeah. Well, one or two people run off for change, and the rest go to the pool! 🤬🤬🤬 You cannot use a paid toilet at a paid entrance!
2. There is a blunt pizza knife in the Swallow Cafe. It breaks in the wrong place. It is not convenient to eat.
3. A MAZ truck constantly cruises past the cafe, which feeds diesel fuel to all guests of the cafe.
4. It's slippery near the barrels. I saw children and adults falling.
We visited in August with children. The children liked it, there are several pools, the water is warm from the springs. Sharko's shower, that's what you have to wait for, because there are a lot of people, always busy. The children liked the barrels of cold water, dipped into the barrel, then they would warm up in the pool. Mud baths. It is better not to visit those who are squeamish, since perhaps cleaning has not happened here for a long time, since barrels and pools are covered in frost.
There are cafes on site, as well as a paid toilet. It's worth a visit once.
The place is beautiful, smearing yourself with therapeutic mud is a fun pleasure in itself, then go into the warm pool. Resting body and soul. If the toilet on the territory was included in the ticket price, given that the entrance fee is three hundred rubles per person. Then I would have given it five stars. It is inconvenient to climb in swimsuits after the pool to get money to cope with the need. There are no complaints about anything else
The Kyndyg mineral water thermal spring is one of the largest wellness complexes in Abkhazia. There are therapeutic underground springs, and containers with real mineral water, and pools with mud with hydrogen sulfide composition, and even baths with hydro massage.
The source is wonderful, it's nice to relax when everything is natural, natural! For me, the improvement of the general condition immediately (spine), and pools and massage. The only thing missing for women is better cabins and service.
It's a very beautiful place, especially in winter. Warm water amidst the frosty freshness. There are powerful jets for massage, pools of different temperatures, in a word - a great place to relax for a couple of hours. There are medicinal mud, but in winter it seemed cold to smear them on the street. But many went and were satisfied.
A very beautiful atmospheric place very close to Sukhum! Half an hour by car from the city center. I advise everyone who has problems with joints to go there. In addition to the amazing hot springs, you can also take mud baths. I want to please smokers))) You do not need to go outside the complex to smoke. Inside there are places with benches where you can calmly take a drag)))
A good place, inexpensive, clean enough! however, the staff is slightly insane (named Madona) entry with a 2 kg dog in a special closed carrier is prohibited!!! however, there are a lot of stray dogs on the territory, some kind of double standards, which is why dogs are so hated in this generally good place
Our favorite sources!!!! Off-season, everyone is required to visit, bask in the hot pools, drink mulled wine, what could be better! The entrance price is 300 rubles, it's generally inexpensive for such a pleasure)
We had a very good time here. Various pools, a shower that can be taken on sun beds, barrels of ice water, everything is fine. It can only pay more attention to the organization of mud baths
That in itself is a great idea, but it is very poorly organized, like everything in Abkhazia. It is located in such a way that you can only go by specially ordered or own transport, there is no public transport there. There is a lot of dirt in the territory, no devices, just a bucket. People were slipping and falling. If it is cold outside, it is as uncomfortable as possible to go and wash off the jet and ice water...Brrrr . People in pools are like cucumbers in a barrel. We won't go any more
I liked the place. There is a parking place, a cafe, a luggage room. There were no queues at the entrance. There is a sign in the parking lot that parking is paid, but it is not clear who to pay. We had a car with local license plates, no one came up to us. Perhaps the fee is charged only from tourists. In hot pools, the water is cloudy, algae on the walls (apparently pools are rarely cleaned), there are barrels of cool water next to the pools. It was the first experience of visiting hot springs. We realized that in such places you need to be more careful, on the street + 30, in pools from + 40 and above, you can get heat stroke, in addition, a specific smell from sulfur sources. Several "newcomers" became ill, none of the employees approached them (a medical worker or a caretaker). In general, the impression of the place and nature is positive. The service is in the "BEST" local traditions. I advise you to visit, but you need to be careful.
The entrance costs 300 rubles, there are four pools with different temperatures and heights to the bottom. The first three are warm, the fourth is the hottest. I liked everything, the only main disadvantage is the paid toilet. Parking near the spring costs 50 rubles, but it is not fenced in any way and it is not clear at all what you are paying for, wild boars ran past the car several times.
It's a great place. The water is amazing. You can't sit in it for a long time, of course. But that's why it's therapeutic.
I really liked the jets of water gushing down on the benches. You can substitute the sore parts of the back for it. It feels like a good massage.
The only drawback is the paid toilet. I think I paid for the entrance, but I still have to pay for the toilet.
We purposefully drove here from Sochi. We really liked it! The children did not get out of the water at all)
Admission is 300rubles per person. There are changing booths. 5 outdoor pools with water of different temperatures. There is a hydro massage. The toilet on the territory is paid (10₽) - this is strange, because I have already paid for the entrance, left my valuables in the car or handed them over to the camera - the question is how to pay?))) the luggage room is a locker with a key like in the shops at the entrance)
The territory itself is well maintained, it is clear that they are keeping order.
There is a cafe - it's delicious!
We go to Kyndyg for the sake of thermal springs. More precisely, to improve your health a little. We like. There are fewer people at this spring, and the water in the pools is cleaner than in another, more famous one. There are five thermal pools on the territory with different water temperatures from hot to slightly warm. There are jets of warm water falling from a height, which make a hydro massage. For fans of mud baths, there is mud. They say it's therapeutic.
This is a place for those who want to relax and improve their health. Hydro massage, hot pools, clay. Everything is for your health. Good service, everything is well maintained, lots of greenery. Many thanks to the workers of the paradise place.
A great place where, at any time of the year, you can heal and enjoy swimming in a warm pool under an indoor sky. You can take a hydro massage course under the pressure of hot mineral water.
We visited this place in December. It was +5 degrees outside. There is a natural spring here, as well as several pools with water of different temperatures — from hot to cool. You can also use a muddy place and apply dirt to your skin.
After visiting the pools, the skin does not become dry, there is a smell of hydrogen sulfide. In cool weather, it is especially pleasant to enjoy the warmth of the pools. We enjoyed lying under the jets of water falling from the spring from above. There are benches downstairs, and the massage here is just great.
The entrance ticket is 300 rubles, everything is on the street,4 pools, and barrels. It is better to start from the bottom, from the coldest, but it is warm, and gradually move on to the hottest. The barrels are definitely icy)))).
There are changing rooms like on the beach, but you will have to carry things with you or someone to sit with them, there are no lockers, only hangers. There are compartments for valuables upstairs.Towels are not provided, you need to have your own. There is a whole huge puddle of mud, and nearby, 40 meters from above, water pours like a shower to wash it off, there is a straight cold one, there is a warmer one nearby. And at the hottest pool, there is a Charcot shower and benches on top of the pipes, everyone gets out of the hot pool and fits)))) on these benches in different poses))) they substitute their figure.I liked it, but we were when it was cool and running down the street was not very pleasant and up to the mud and back.In total, you can stay no more than 10 minutes in each pool, a session of about 45 minutes for everything. And it is better to come when there is no one, because even then there are a lot of people, they are driven by buses)))
You need to come to the thermal springs in Kyndyk for at least 3 days. Only then will it be possible to talk about the effect.
After the thermal springs, you need to take care. Don't catch a cold. Therefore, it is better for summer residents to travel after the summer season closes.
I really liked the sources. Pools with different temperatures. Healing water is poured from above, you can substitute different parts of the body. They didn't risk their backs. But the arms and legs, you can. It is very important to take baths or mud baths for no more than 15 minutes. Since we lived nearby, we came early until vacationers from all over Abkhazia arrived. I recommend going to the thermal springs every year. The earth itself gives us strength and health in the form of healing water and mud.
We went in August 2024, in general, the impressions are good: a large area, the pools are ergonomically located - the hottest (water 65 g) next to cold barrels and a pool with water from a well, there is a children's slide (for a fee), the restaurant is normal, although there are a lot of flies, dirt is not thick, but smeared and even bought you can wash yourself in them later. It takes 3 hours to drive from Gagra, half an hour from Sukhum
The price is like in Primorsky for hydrogen sulfide, but here the infrastructure, a choice of pools by temperature, hydromassage jets of different temperatures, sun beds, equipped territory, cafes. The main thing is not to overdo it. Follow the recommendations, by the way they are everywhere there.
A unique place for health and relaxation. A complex of comfortable pools with thermal water of different temperatures. Uncomfortable beach locker rooms, unlit. They dressed by touch in the dark. All clothes will get wet in the rain.
It's a great place. There are several pools of different temperatures, mud baths. And the hydro massage jets have gone very far. However, there is a queue to defend) And so everything is clean and tidy. At first, when we arrived, we saw a contingent of purely pension. We thought that probably the place is not for us. But in the end, they got so involved that they didn't want to leave. We will definitely come back here
I put 5 stars, since people come here specifically to visit this spring daily during their holidays, it means that the source is really curative and healthy))) We arrived on an excursion at six in the evening, it was already dark, so not seeing the flaws (and they are there anyway), we swam in all the "baths", stood under a flowing waterfall with hot water and had fun, a boost of cheerfulness and a good mood! The territory is quite clean, there are changing rooms, a toilet, places to relax. But, of course, there are a lot of people and everyone may know what is in these baths😆
cafe. For those who want to cool off, there are barrels of cold water on the territory of the baths. A hydro massage shower is very interesting - a type of Charcot shower, from the gutters of which powerful jets of thermal water fall - they are located at a 10-meter height, and there are wooden deck chairs under them. Vacationers sit and lie on them, substituting different parts of the body for massage jets.
There are mud lakes on the territory of the complex, from where visitors take therapeutic mud. They are applied to sore spots and allowed to dry. And then they are washed off under warm hydromassage jets. There are cafes and stalls with drinks on site. Everything is very good.
I liked the variety of pools with different water temperatures, a normal territory, not crowded, a lot of changing cabins, paid parking, 50 rubles, a purely symbolic luggage storage, also paid. In general, I recommend it.
I recommend a super place to visit, and in general Abkhazia is very beautiful, I recommend visiting the first hot springs, there are pools with different temperatures, and massages are very pleasant
I visited the Kyndyg hot spring for the first time and was very pleased. It has everything you need for a good rest and relaxation. The water in the spring has different temperatures, from hot to warm, and contains dirt that perfectly relaxes and tones the skin. I especially liked the "Hydro massage", which helped to relax and relieve tension.
One of the main advantages of this source is the absence of a strong smell of hydrogen sulfide. The water here has almost no unpleasant smell, which makes the visit even more pleasant.
It was especially impressive to observe the source itself in its original form from above. This creates a sense of proximity to nature and adds a special atmosphere to the place.
The cost of entering the spring is only 300 rubles, which is a very affordable price for such a pleasant and relaxing place. Despite some distance from the city, this place is worth a visit, especially if you want to enjoy nature and relax in the hot springs.
The only drawback is the changing booths. Go straight to the wooden ones and don't change clothes at the entrance.
Overall, I was very pleased with my visit to the Kyndyg hot spring. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature.
I am very glad that improvements are visible from year to year as we come here. They are equipping the territory, but there is still something to work on. The place is cool, 4 pools with therapeutic water of different temperatures, one cold pool, jets with benches under them, mud, barrels of cold water. There are a lot of changing rooms, there are places to hang things. But there's nothing to eat. What they sell in the cafe is tasteless and takes a very long time to wait. And I highly recommend it!
An unforgettable beautiful place. 3 different pools with different temperatures, choose a comfortable one and relax. There is a hydromassage with warm water flowing out and falling from a high
