We had a rest in the "Literary Fund" in September 2024.
First of all, about the good things: this is, of course, stunningly beautiful nature and a clean, gentle sea. However, this is not the merit of the boarding house. The territory is beautiful and well maintained. We lived in the main building. The room is good: decent furniture, everything worked, cleaning daily, change of linen and towels everything according to plan. There are no complaints about the accommodation. And now about the bad stuff. When I read reviews about the dining room, I thought that they were written by very picky and moody people. But this is the first time I've encountered this, although I've vacationed in many hotels. The first thing we did when we came to the dining room was to try to grab cutlery (mugs, spoons, forks, tureens, knives were almost never there). They were simply not enough for everyone. Queues for food, compote, tea. The cooking was not delicious.The second courses were always cold, apparently the heaters did not work. Only the breakfasts, dairy products, and pancakes were delicious. Soups are not edible at all. In the soup with meatballs, yesterday's cutlets were crumbled instead. The food is monotonous, mostly offal. There are practically no fruits: sliced apples or oranges or bananas. In the season of watermelons and melons, they were not given once. One day they brought two baskets of peaches to a huge hall. Those who did not have time were late. And this boarding house positions itself as a Swedish food line!!! Although their prices are at the level of Turkey. For 12 nights, my husband and I paid 166,000, plus the road. I would like to recommend the administration of the canteen to learn how to organize meals from their neighbors of the boarding house "Pine Grove" and adopt their positive experience and sincere attitude towards their guests.
The beach is nice, but the sun beds, which are interconnected with steel wires, are terrible! You can't move it relative to the sun. You lie in the shade in the morning, the sun is hot at lunch. You can easily trip over the wire and crash into a nearby lounger.
Here is such an ambiguous opinion. Nature and the sea are 5, and the service is 3.

This boarding house is getting worse every year, and the price is getting higher. The food is not tasty, it is impossible to eat the first one at all. An ordinary housewife cooks better, but there is a cook. A huge number of dogs and cats with kittens and puppies are running around the territory. I haven't seen this anywhere else. The management does not allow them to be fed, but this does not reduce the number of animals. This is wildness. Not an indifferent person experiences constant anxiety, there is nothing to feed, what cannot be eaten in the dining room cannot be taken out. They could have sterilized it, but it's better to build a building. No humanity. The pines are almost dry, they don't smell, needles and branches are falling down. But the construction site is in full growth.

Thank you so much for the rest, we were with the whole family (6 people) from July 15 to 29, 2024, everything is wonderful: the food, the beach, the attitude of the staff. I especially want to thank Alexandra Pavlovna, the maid of the family building, for her kindness, for the quick response to any of our wishes (we were with twins of 4 years old, 2 cots were immediately brought, the rooms were adjacent, the door between them was like a 2-room apartment), for the high level of performance of their duties. I had a rest in July 2024. A great place: a great beach, a sufficient number of sunbeds, those who want to roast - please lie in the sun, those who need shade - there is also such an opportunity. The building is newly renovated. The numbers are too.
The food is a buffet - I will not say that there is a large assortment, but the food is delicious. Special thanks for the pastries (buns, cheesecakes; there were other options - I did not eat). There are air conditioners everywhere in the building, it's cool. There is a good fitness room, sports grounds.
But the downside is animation work: I would like more variety

Great hotel, don't believe the bad reviews. We still live in room 305 to this day. The furniture, linen are new, of excellent quality! The cleaning is wonderful, the room is spacious and cozy, everything you need is available. The food is average. The territory is beautiful, well maintained, large. The sea is 100 meters away, warm, clean. There are just not enough sun beds. The Internet is excellent, it catches even at the sea and in a nearby hotel.

The boarding house is wonderful.The rooms are lovely.Everything in them is provided for a good rest. They give you beach towels. There is a toilet on the beach.The beach is wonderful.
But! Sunbeds should be occupied early in the morning.I caught a picture several times when rescuers from a neighboring boarding house, coming to half of our beach, drove vacationers from the Literary Fund from the sunbeds, proving that these were their sunbeds.People took these sunbeds on half of the Literary Fund. Buy more of them. And sign it so that you don't have to fight God knows who for sun beds for SUCH money!
Another disadvantage: there are practically no events for adults in the evening: once a week the concert is paid and that's it.Turn on the music, hold discos (not for children, but for adults). Invite any artists (for a fee).Do some quiz contests.
The excursions were more liked by those that were bought in Pitsunda itself (not in a boarding house).
I also want to point out this point: if the staff messed up, you can't prove anything.They will prove to the last... and that they are right. There were several such moments.Therefore, I lowered the star. But there are undoubtedly more advantages. First of all, the nature, the sea, the mountains are fantastic!!! Secondly, A CLEAN BEACH, which is regularly cleaned.Special thanks to Leonid, who is constantly doing this in good faith. Thirdly, I was very lucky to get on vacation when there were already a lot of fruits and watermelons, nectarines, and grapes were constantly given in the dining room.
Fourthly, thanks to the young waiters - the tables were cleaned with lightning speed and there were enough places for everyone. I liked the girl at the reception: polite and thorough. The territory is very beautiful and well maintained. Thanks to all those who put their soul and professionalism into our full-fledged vacation!

We had a rest in August 2023. The hotel is well maintained, clean, beautiful lawns and flower beds, walking paths. There is a boxwood grove on the territory, the air is clean, coniferous. The food for students is excellent, and for gourmets it is average, but there is also a cafe and a restaurant on site (paid). The beach is pebbly, the water was clear and clean. Walking along the coastline showed that it is in this place that it is especially clean, if you walk 1 km in both directions, then the turbidity appears, just amazing. The deck chairs have been occupied with towels since the evening, we only managed to sit on them 2 times, miraculously. But it's not the hotel that's to blame, but the guests. it's easier to lie on the pebbles near the water, it's windy there, and go swimming nearby. You need to take bathing slippers with you or you can buy them at stalls on the territory. There is a ski rental on the beach. You can sign up for a morning swim in the sea on saps and dolphin watching.
The rooms are standard, the air conditioners are modern, the plumbing is too, everything was fine, the furniture is not new, but in decent condition. We did not use the treatment program. WiFi in the hallway was normal for whatsapp chat, not always for calls. You won't watch much of the video. The audience is mostly grandparents, some with grandchildren. Entertainment is appropriate. There was a concert at the hotel, I liked it. The library is open. There is a tour manager near the dining room, you can schedule trips. But we had an unpleasant trip, so we took only one. It was the delivery that I didn't like. In my opinion, it would be worth more expensive, but comfortable and safe.

A nice and not very expensive hotel. A large area. There is animation for adults and children, sports grounds. A large wide pebble beach with sun beds and umbrellas. There is a wheelchair ramp on the beach. The food is buffet style, dietary, but delicious. Minibuses or taxis go to Pitsunda, it takes 5-7 minutes to drive.

We rested at the hotel from October 24, 23! Very quiet family hotel! There is animation for children and adults.. Very nice staff! I left my phone on the bench, found it, gave it to the reception!Thank you very much! Our maid Aida, just a fairy of purity! Everything is always cleaned, everything we needed was provided without reminders! Thank you very much! All the girls are very cute, no complaints! We had a great time on exercises, stretching and other sports events! Everything is correct and to the point, thanks to the nice coach! We took a massage course! Massage therapist Alexander does his job very competently! Uses "magic" jars that really work wonders! The posture has leveled off the pain is gone!
Thanks to the Literary Fund and all the employees for a wonderful holiday! I got sick on the last day of November 5th, the nurse on duty took my temperature and pressure and provided all possible help! Thank you all!!!

A great hotel with a beautiful large area. THE MOST GORGEOUS beach. It's just a bombishly gorgeous beach. And from the hotel to the beach - 100 (one hundred!!!) meters.
And no one! And silence! The fact that the hotel is full is visible only in the dining room. There are very few people on the beach, almost no one on the territory. In short, a great place for those who want to relax in silence and to have fewer people.
The food is like for a boarding house, in the style of "detox" (nothing fried, very healthy food, etc.) everything is fresh, everything is delicious. There is no variety - but the set changes for each meal. If you do not go for 2 weeks, you are unlikely to get bored. There is a kebab shop with an excellent barbecue on site.

Of the cons: the place is secluded, there is nowhere to go except through the territory. There is no store, even to buy water or small items.

I was in the "Literary Fund" in early June. The rooms are clean and modern. Plumbing and refrigerator, TV, air conditioning - everything worked. Nice beds with comfortable mattresses. There were no problems with sun beds at sea, but there are not enough sun beds by the pool and there are no umbrellas. You have to be careful when leaving the pool, the plates are very slippery. I fell down there. Why there are no rubber mats, a question for the administration. The territory is large, well-maintained, there are many benches where you can sit and breathe. The beach is large, some of the sunbeds are under the Pitsunda pines. Air...Awesome. About the food... there are no questions for breakfast (pancakes, cheesecakes, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese casserole, cottage cheese, sliced sausage and cheese, porridge. There are problems with coffee, there is no coffee machine, there is only instant coffee. I took the ground coffee with me, drank in the room. There is a kettle. But, lunches and dinners are quite monotonous, boring. On the fifth day, I wanted something else. As they say, "you won't stay hungry, but you won't get pleasure either." But...everything is for the amateur. There are shops and a pharmacy on site. Generally... Very good. We were lucky with the weather, nature and the absence of storms.

I had a rest in early August, I really liked it! The rooms are very nice, there is also a kettle, dishes, a good TV and air conditioning. on the loggia there is a table with 2 armchairs, a clothes rack. They cleaned every day, linen and towels were changed every 3 days. The food is very good, for every taste, fruits are constantly: watermelons, melons, peaches, apples, grapes, oranges, bananas. The pastries are excellent, several types every time.
But the most important thing for me is that during my vacation I managed to take a course of oriental reflexology (doctor Smotrov D.Yu.), because I am 60+ years old and have problems with my spine. Before that, I was treated with shockwave therapy in St. Petersburg, attended sessions with an osteopath, but reflexology really helped me! I am very grateful to the doctor!
There is only one drawback: we were not met at the airport, although there were two of us and each ordered a transfer, clearly specifying both the date and time! We were promised a transfer, but for some reason they ordered it for us a day later. Therefore, we got there ourselves, because we arrived at night, and the booking department works only from 9 to 17 o'clock, except Sundays. Therefore, it is necessary to call back in advance and find out specifically about
the transfer when it will be.
I love Abkhazia, it reminds me of Greece -a beautiful clear sea, palm trees, agaves, but there are also wonderful Pitsunda pines here!
I really hope for rest and treatment in the Literary Fund next year.

Thanks to ROSATOM, the boarding house has changed beyond recognition. The territory has been landscaped, the buildings have been renovated, the pool has been put in order. It is a pity that there is no good manager in the dining room. There are a lot of service personnel, everyone is fussing, but those who monitor the availability of cutlery, replenishment of dishes on time, are not. It is necessary to ask, to look for those who could do it. There are a lot of cars on the territory, this reduces the impression. The beach also needs to be improved. We rested from June 1-11, 2024 in a double standard main building.
I liked everything very much!!! A wonderful boarding house!!!Now the Literary Fund is my favorite place, although I have been to Abkhazia for the 7th time. There were no disadvantages for me personally. I really hope that I will be able to come again next year.
The food is homemade, the rooms are new, the territory is beautiful, the sea is super clean. 200 m.there are horse rides from the boarding house. I went to feed the horses. It's unforgettable!!!

Of the advantages, there are probably only two:
-beautiful territory
-good room cleaning
Further disadvantages:
- the accommodation service works for 3, they were placed for a long time, the children's sleeping places were not ready for arrival
- on the beach: there are few sun loungers; there are no umbrellas by the sea; sun loungers are cleaned in the evening, they are not placed in the morning ... you come and have to pull yourself out of a pile of sun loungers … which is pretty hard.
- there is nothing to eat from the word at all, and if children are allergic, it is better to take it without food; even ordinary dishes are cooked so that it is impossible to eat, zucchini are over-stewed, etc... (!the only delicious pastries), but again, not everyone can do this.
Well, the "cherry on the cake" for which I put 1 star is the employee of the boarding house, the "administrator" in the dining room: MARIANNA NADARAEVNA (I hope you didn't make a mistake in writing).
The administrator has to smooth out all the roughness, and here a woman is yelling, insulting employees in front of guests, yelling at guests, throwing phrases that a priori can only be expressed at home!
MARIANNE is a person who is in the position of an administrator, who does not know what culture and ethics are! Not able to communicate with customers / visitors, but should be able to!

The location of the Pension is excellent, the sea is close, pine trees and fresh air.
Food is the basis of rest, I think, very poor, monotonous, and tasteless.
We didn't get any pleasure from the food during the entire stay.
The pool is small.
A good area for sports (mini football, basketball, table tennis and large, Playground).
It is better for fans of this sport to bring rackets and balls for table tennis with them.
For this money, the hotel has little to offer and I'm sure you can find the best options for a family holiday for the same budget.
Cleaning - towels are very rarely changed (once every 5 days), there is no such service.
We went to training camps with the team, so many things were not important to us.

My favorite sanatorium! We have been there twice (in 2022 and in July 2024). The second time is even better than the first time! Although there is less surprise about the cleanliness and beauty of the territory, but they already clearly knew how to allocate their day. As a result, two weeks flew by like a flash. The sea is clean, the beach is big, clean, there is enough space for everyone. The food is no frills, but you will not be able to gain +3 kg. The rooms are modern, the views from the window are generally fantastic! Those who like noisy drunken parties are definitely not here. Calm, positive, friendly atmosphere, lots of couples, lots of children, animation every day! I will definitely try to get here again.

Thanks to the wonderful Liftond boarding house for the wonderful January weekend. We travel to different countries of the world, but if possible, we always come to hospitable, cozy Abkhazia. It was the first time we were in the Literary Fund. We rested and gained strength. I really liked the territory of the hotel, access to the sea, surrounded by relict pines. We would like to thank all the staff, especially the medical staff-nurses Rimma, Lilia; specialist Raisa for an excellent massage. Thanks to the chefs for the excellent food, there was always a large assortment, very fluffy buns. And of course you have an interesting library fund! We wish you continued prosperity!

One of the best places to relax in Abkhazia! Everything is great, except for hungry vacationers. They're infuriating! A favorite vacation spot in June. A trip to the Literary Fund opens my summer vacation season. The growth gave a new life to the boarding house. Everything is equipped, renovated, in 2023 they began to build a large medical center, there is a wonderful fitness room, a well-equipped beach. In general, if you do not need a round-the-clock alkobar, annimators of all stripes, then you will like it. The accommodation is comfortable, the food is dietary, without frills, but greens, vegetables, milk, meat and fish dishes, delicious pastries are enough to get a balanced kbzh principle. We have never been hungry, and my son likes to eat. There is a cafe on the territory, there are sightseeing offers, drivers ready to take you anywhere in Abkhazia, playgrounds for tennis, volleyball, football, a library and a cinema hall. We rested at the pension Litfond from May 18 to May 28, 2023. I liked it very much. Excellent room with good repair, beautiful park, wonderful beach, lots of sun beds. The heated pool was very useful, because the sea was still cool. The buffet food was also fine. But I would especially like to note the work of the staff, they are polite, always in a good mood, they strive to help and arrange your vacation as comfortably as possible. We lived in the 2nd building and the administrators Serafim and Rada were always friendly and helped with any problem. Well, the maid Aida would like to say a special thank you. We had a rest in November 2023 at the pension Litfond, initially we wanted to move into a Boxwood grove, but there were no empty seats.The territory has gorgeous nature, everything is green, the pool, the sea is clean, although the pebble beach is not very pleasant to walk barefoot. Inside the boarding house there is excellent repair, cleanliness and order everywhere. Discos are held every evening, there is also a cinema 2 times a day movies are shown in the afternoon for children in the evening for adults, there is billiards, table tennis, a large playground, a library. We have never regretted that we rested in the Literary Fund!

I really liked it, it's really great. The location is excellent, you can say that everything is there for leisure. But I can't help but write about nutrition...it is very monotonous. You probably won't stay hungry, but in my opinion, the level of nutrition does not correspond to the level of the boarding house. 5. Rooms are cleaned regularly. A separate star for the cleaner!
6. The presence of a hospital, trips to hydrogen sulfide baths, Charcot showers, massages, magnets, etc. is undoubtedly a big plus.
7. Powerful WiFi - I caught it even on the beach!
8. The availability of the transfer has pleasantly solved many issues.
Of the cons:
1. Simple food, no frills in desserts (either flour bun or jelly).
2. Disgusting wine in the buffet.
3. There are few channels on the TV.

Pros: air, sea, nature, a pool with warm water, the food is wonderful (especially in the small dining room). Recently renovated, we lived in a family building, the room is new, comfortable, beautiful. The transfer is included in the price. There are tables for table tennis, but you need to take your own rackets and balls (local ones are only suitable for children). It was not possible to fully evaluate the beach, at the beginning of May it is not yet the bathing season.
Cons: the TV in front of the pool is constantly working (and it is clearly audible in the family building). The disco! It's terrible, loud (in the family building it is very audible with the doors / windows completely closed), if there are dancers, then it works until 23:00, and they don't care that the children need to go to bed. The repertoire - what's on TV, what's at the disco - is terrible - modern Russian pop with stupid lyrics. I tried to give DJs my playlist of the 80s pop music, sometimes they included several songs from it, but not enough.

We had a vacation with my husband in mid-June 2024. We lived together in a single room. My husband was sleeping on an extra bed. place (armchair-bed). Thus, we saved money.The room is spacious, overlooking the lake, the playground and the neighboring sanatorium. We checked in only from 14.00. The transfer (free) from the railway station was perfect. After 1.5 hours we were already at the sanatorium. The border was passed quickly and without problems. The food is varied, there was always enough. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of a coffee machine, alas! Only instant coffee.Starting breakfast too late at 8.30 a.m. slightly limited us. We get up early. The large number of cats in front of the entrance to the dining room was a little annoying, I saw them a couple of times in the dining room itself. Children pet them, pensioners feed them. Seasonal fruits (strawberries, cherries, medlars) were practically absent in nutrition. We went to pick them up at the market in Pitsunda. I really liked the territory of the "Literary Fund" with a lot of greenery, trees, flowers (the edge of magnolias). We still remember walking along well-groomed alleys and along the endless beach. A nice and wide pebble beach (there is even a sandy strip in the middle). There are a lot of sun beds, there are enough for everyone. There are not enough of them standing only in the shade. But, you can put it under the pines yourself. Three peaceful dogs live on the beach. Vacationers feed them. There is a changing room, a shower and a toilet, a restaurant "At Mikhalych's". Catamaran rental, sap boards. We walked along the coastline to Cape Pitsunda (3 km) and in the opposite direction to the beach of the sanatorium "Boxwood grove". Leisure is organized on a "three" basis. There is a great cinema hall, sports grounds. In the evenings there are discos for children and adults by the pool. But, animators and presenters are very sluggish and not at all interested in organizing leisure activities. They need to be changed or taught professionalism. Otherwise, people will sit by the pool on sun beds and drink beer with wine after the procedures to disco music. Morning exercises on the beach are held regularly, but somehow away from the vacationers. There is no mass coverage. Aqua aerobics in a chlorinated and small pool in front of all the vacationers somehow did not impress. There is a gym, but it starts working at 9.00!!!?? I've already swum, done gymnastics in the morning, and the gym is closed. Cleaning for the "four", but daily. The services of the medical center were not used. By the way, a new medical center building is under construction there, but it does not bother vacationers. We liked the rest in the "Literary Fund". Nature, sea, climate, catamaran and paddle boarding accompanied by a flock of dolphins.... Impressed!!! But the fly in the ointment on the day of departure
... did not pass us by!😔😜 Something went wrong with the return transfer to the airport. We passed both borders calmly, but the driver and the car were not released due to the lack of one signature and turned back to Abkhazia. There was no transfer to another transport. We had to ask our border guards to let us out and take a taxi on our own at our own expense (this is how a free transfer turned out). It's good that we managed to catch the plane!😜
