The pension is located on the Black Sea coast, surrounded by a pine forest and a boxwood grove. The sea in June 2022 is the purest, turquoise, but cool. The beach is clean, sun beds in good places should be occupied from 7 a.m., or then you will huddle at cheburechnaya (with all these aromas, instead of a fresh sea breeze), or in the sun. There are no problems with the number of sun beds, but there are problems with places in the shade, under a canopy or umbrellas.
The staff at the boarding house is friendly, but unhurried.
The cleanliness in the room, unfortunately, let me down. We stayed in the suite (room 1118), the room is cleaned daily, but very mediocre. The floor has not been clean once in all the time! So I did not understand whether it was washed or not. The plumbing has never shone either. The linen was changed every four days, but the cot was not changed once in 11 days of rest.
The pool is good, the children swam there every day. Wi-fi sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't. And not on the entire territory of the boarding house.
Nutrition is a separate topic. For suites, junior suites and super suites, it is organized in a separate dining room. But that doesn't mean anything!)) The advantage in the nutrition of the boarding house is that you can lose weight!)) I haven't eaten so much cabbage, carrots and beets in a year!))) But seriously, it was not so much the amount of food that failed, as its quality: frankly paper sausages for breakfast, an omelet made of powder, cottage cheese made of vegetable oils ... this is sad, of course. To die is not to die, but there is no benefit from such a diet. For that, the cafe on the territory (which is next to the cottages and shops) is very tasty! Everything is delicious! Awesome barbecue, grilled vegetables, potatoes! And also homemade dry red wine. Unexpected, but very tasty! And the present (which is rare in Abkhazia)! We also took him home with us.
We came to Abkhazia by car, so we visited a lot of places, saw a lot of things and were delighted! We want to come back again!) And even, despite all the disadvantages, back to the Literary Fund. Due to the good location of the boarding house and a good number of rooms!

I come on vacation almost every year and do not regret it! I have already been there 4 times and the Literary Fund improves service and rooms (which indicates a rise in prices). As an ardent volleyball fan, after dinner every evening I came to the playground where there were always people! Not ideal, but it justifies its price 👏

A good boarding house, beautiful nature, but there is one problem that negates all the advantages. It's an evening disco. If you are unlucky and the windows of your room overlook the pool, then prepare for a nervous breakdown. Every evening there is an incredible roar until 11 pm. If you expect to relax in peace and quiet, then this boarding house is not for you. It is impossible to put the child down. The glass in the windows is shaking. It doesn't bother anyone that 10 people are on the dance floor, and the rest are forced to listen to a very dubious musical selection. Someone cruelly deceived the girl leading the disco that she has a voice and musical taste. In addition, mocking the vacationer, the sound is getting louder and louder by the end of the disco. Why not move this sabbath away from residential buildings. Why do people who have paid a lot of money for suites and junior suites in the family building, at the whim of the administration, have to listen to this horror every evening. Participants of this coven should be accommodated in such rooms, and not vacationers with young children. Perhaps someone will like it, but if you come to the sea hoping to listen to the sound of the surf in the evening, avoid the Literary Fund.

I hardly write reviews. But I can't help myself! We are at the hotel at the moment. The first day. Tolerable. But! It's a shame to snot because I've been stubbornly shoveling all the hotels in Abkhazia for 2 weeks. I chose large ones with a territory, a buffet, a swimming pool, so that there would be animation and a good civilization on the territory because I was traveling alone with my daughter and I didn't just want to go out in the private sector, when there was nowhere to go in the evening (in May we tried this kind of vacation at the Citrus mini-hotel (the breakfasts there are gorgeous) It's OK with family or company, but together with a child - it's boring there)
I chose the Literary Fund, buying into the reviews about the strongest animation, great food and other evidences of the hotel supervised by Rosatom.
So now about the disappointment:
It all started at the Train station. I contacted the hotel constantly, clarified the exciting moments. Including they promised a free transfer (accommodation cost 125,000 rubles for 7 nights adult + child). They asked me to turn on the phone. Especially for this, I paid the Internet tariff for abroad. But just in case, I downloaded the taxi app. Intuition! Of course, no one met us. The messages were not answered. We waited an hour and decided to go by ourselves. The Garuda app gave out ~410p. Already at the hotel, the driver showed the taximeter and demanded 710p. Hello, Abkhazia! And I have already managed to forget the local "jokes" with naE..
At the hotel we were offered to leave our passports for registration, drop our luggage and run to lunch before it's too late (thanks for that- we did not expect). They gave out a voucher, as in the USSR, one for two. And then the main disappointment so far: I did not hope for a buffet like in Turkey, but the reviews praised.... And here🙈
I'm not picky about food. That year I had a rest in Magadan (village of Loo). There I enjoyed eating dietary sanatorium food, various insanely tender offal and stewed broccoli. There was a lot of food, hot, fresh, and the waiters were constantly running around with new trays. My eyes were running away from the choice. The smells were very appetizing...
here... No choice, no edibility! Mashed potatoes in appearance on the water, steamed cutlets shine like glossy liver sausages and have the same color, meat like goulash or some parts of offal...I didn't understand, but some thick veins. I took it because the cutlets looked absolutely disgusting and I couldn't eat them. Something like a herring under a fur coat just tastes disgusting. Of the drinks, JUST CARAFES OF WATER and hot compote of dried fruits (often only water). Oh yes, + wine only for lunch and then only the first hour, which is impossible to drink and stained glasses. Even the bread is cut like for pigs. It's clumsy. There are more sauces than types of dishes. Vermicelli and beetroot soup, diced beetroot salad, pickled corn, pickled cucumbers, dill with parsley, cucumbers with garlic, pilaf without meat... and like the whole main menu! In general, only brownie-type cakes and fruits were edible from lunch (banana halves, whole apples, oranges in circles WITH LABELS!)
From baking there was also the same cake with peanuts and something like shortbread cookies.
There are no questions about sweets. But in the main menu there is no choice at all😭
At the same time, we were provided with meals in a separate room for a junior suite! Like a VIP?! Of course
, I wanted to lose weight and nutrition is not the main thing for me, but for 125 rubles it's a shame to chew veins and eat beetroot....
I WILL ADD: We came for dinner. Only stewed chicken and olives are edible. Something fishy looks like pudding, the daughter couldn't even eat the pasta - fresh meat. Sometimes the food is better in the hospital. I went and replaced it with boiled potatoes in chunks - also tasteless. I took a liver pie - you can hammer nails with it (I love liver and fish, but it's impossible to eat it) Lettuce is like a mess for pigs. Drinks include jelly, water, kefir. The buns look their best again-while I'm holding on.
Upon returning to the reception, we were given a room card. 10th floor. View to the right of the sea, to the left of the lake. Perfectly! Centered on the unfinished building. Here, as they say, is a test of whether you are an optimist or a pessimist))) The choice of where to look is yours. There is no safe in the room. The refrigerator is large and full-fledged, hinting that you need to eat somehow yourself)))) It's buzzing like a Zil. By the way, in the canteen they demanded to leave my purse on the table at the entrance - I said that we were only from the train and there were documents and all the money, but still they were not allowed to come in with it.
There are a lot of dishes in the room. (You can't interrogate mugs in the dining room, glasses are not provided in principle) Also, for some reason, there are large dishes in the room (as if we would cut up a piglet in the room with three meals a day), plates, any cutlery, mugs, saucers... a person for 6🤣. Kettle, electric coffee pot. When we went out to sea, we realized that no one had given us bracelets. We returned, we asked for it
It also turns out that the second room key also needs to be begged.
There are no complaints about the number. Everything is fine.
No animators have been seen or heard of yet. There are no umbrellas by the pool. The sun is scorching azzki.
The sea is still no different from Loo in terms of cleanliness, even in Loo in August 2023 it was cleaner. There is a lot of garbage floating, although the rivers are all low-water or even empty (I specially watched from the train). The weather is hot, the sea is at a comfortable temperature. There are a lot of sun loungers, but for some reason no one seems to wash them - gray and black.
We were delighted to see on the HOTEL beach that you can decorate driftwood from the sea and pebbles with a child... But it turned out that it was paid. Prices are 450r, 750r and above. Podofigeli.
There is no drinking water in the rooms. There are no devices and coolers in the lobby. The promised drinks and ice cream are all inclusive, but for a fee. A very strange announcement about drinks and ice cream on the dining room. It turns out that it is not only for money, but also by the hour🤣🤣🤣Disco....It's like in a grandmother's sanatorium. No DJ, no live music. There were no animators in sight all day. There is nowhere to go left or right. Boredom is mortal. There is one stall on site and one shop behind the hotel, but by evening it is empty as in the 90s. I am extremely sorry that I did not choose the Caucasus or the Sled in Gagra for this money. Fool, it seemed to me in May that it was boring there.... Now there is something to compare it with.
I'll add another thing: the sea is still gorgeous, although sometimes garbage floats. Transparent is unimaginable. We didn't swim in the pool. The daughter was torn- but when they came up, they saw the iron lids. From the beer, the dirt...and she refused.
The food in the last 2 days was just tin. Even compotes and jelly are gone - stupidly water in a carafe or boiling water for tea, coffee. From fruits, apples taste like "potatoes" wadded inside.
In general, I recommend this place to those who seek maximum privacy, "free" sun beds, clean sea and with a guarantee of "no intestines" because there are no settlements around, and if the sewer merges into the sea, then at a minimum.
We moved to AfonResort. There are also disadvantages. But for 58,000 they are not so noticeable. Here on the beach, you can hear about the intestine, you can see it... The sea has a different look and taste, although it is also transparent. There is a place to walk in the evening and a bunch of shops / cafes, but the smell of sewage somehow accompanies everywhere. In any case, I think that the chances of catching a bowel are lower than in Sochi or Anapa. There are fewer people on the beaches and on the streets too.
Abkhazia is being transformed. I definitely recommend it! My only advice is to take a cheaper hotel - there will still be no service, but at least it's not so insulting. And reorient the savings on excursions.

In principle, it is not bad, the rooms are clean, linen is changed regularly (the frequency depends on the room class). A buffet is served (mostly chicken), but there are a lot of salads and greens. Cons: power outages, Internet and as a result, just *** TV. Yes, parking is paid (if you are driving your car), just in the open air. In Sheksna, for example, free indoor parking is provided. Also, do not leave beach towels on the sun beds by the pool, they disappear. You will then be charged the cost at check-out (reported missing).

We arrived at the end of June. Advantages: free transfer from Adler, territory, room stock, animation for children. Cons: as we wrote earlier, nutrition is a very poor choice, and this is not a dietary diet, but not very tasty, very, very usual. The pool is muddy. Bed linen is rarely changed by current standards. The price and quality do not match. The sea is not clean, perhaps because the shore is not cleaned. And VERY, VERY expensive. Now we will eat fruit when we get back to Russia. There was something to compare it with, before that we were in Adler in a small hotel with breakfast, had lunch in the dining room. Here in the Literary Fund for 8 nights, and in Adler, we could rest for 10-11 days. It is possible to recommend holidays with young children and pensioners. But in 2023 it is very expensive in Abkhazia, keep in mind.

- cleaning - after check-in, they were not cleaned for 3 days (!!!) The cleaning took place only after clarifying this issue at the reception
-territory - the site declares the presence of a park. Well, he's not here. More precisely, formally it is there, but there is weeds, fenced in, where it is physically impossible to get
- the Internet is a separate story. Wifi is terrible, it barely catches. But the cherry on the cake was that after 14 days they just turned it off with the words that they only provide it for 2 weeks. To the objections that we had a longer ticket, we were silently sent away. We were refused requests to call the administrator, and we were asked to give a book of complaints and suggestions in the same way. We tried to write to the manager who booked the trip, totally ignore it. And this is taking into account the semi-luxury category and the 240th cost
Bottom line: I strongly advise no one. The rest was completely ruined, and we stayed hungry from time to time. The service is just terrible. The administration needs to fire all the receptionists and recruit qualified staff. Not a foot in this terrible place. It was necessary to go to the Boxwood grove, where we were last year and were very satisfied!

He lied that Santa Claus would be at exactly 12 at night. The table (food) is generally cold...even the most ordinary potatoes. Just a terrible attitude in the dining room and the food. Only the waiters try to make everything good and polite. The receptionist at the breakfast on December 31 almost kicked us out, although we arrived at 9:30 (breakfast before 10). They didn't put a crib right away, although I clarified 3 times about the crib. And the reception said it was marked, but the crib was brought the next morning. The maid cleaned normally while leaving tips. She didn't even give us toilet paper without a tip.
You come to rest... For good money . It seems that the service is promised, but alas... It was announced that animation will be running from December 31 to January 8... There was just a children's room open, where the woman who looks after the children constantly said it was impossible, it was impossible.
Drinking water is not brought to the room at all. Only you can always buy by yourself. Well, it's definitely not about the service.

We had a vacation with the children in early July. Nice room on the 1st floor. Despite the fact that the building is next to the pool, nothing was heard. The sea is nearby. The beach is pebbly, so it's better to have special shoes, although the children ran barefoot and did not complain. Nice clean area. For children, there is a children's room where you can spend time during the torrential rains. There is also a library here - we took mostly children's books, but there was also a choice for adults. There is a playground where children enjoyed spending time in the evening on the street. And of course, paid entertainment-electric cars, bicycles. The food was a buffet - the choice was for every taste. The only drawback is a lot of cats and dogs, who alarm us with their voices from the very early morning, and besides that, smells, especially near our building.

For this money you get - the boorish attitude of doctors, dirty rooms, family rooms with separate beds without the possibility of combining them. Meals are buffet style, meals for 3/5. Rooms do not pull up to standard according to the conditions, of course. The treatment is mediocre, rather massage and baths, that's all. There will be nowhere to go, only by bus or walking around the territory.
There are no questions for the employees, well done, everyone is trying. Except for some doctors.

A hotel in Abkhazia Lit Fund. We rested in the middle of May 2023 with a family, without children. For its stars, which are declared in this hotel, the hotel is very decent. Very high-quality repairs, both in the corridors and in the rooms, high-quality elevators. All the items in the rooms in the corridors are selected with tasteful awareness of the case. The territory is very large, the beach is very wide, mainly made of pebbles, the sea is clean. But the territory has a lot of greenery that is kept in decent condition, it takes care of them. The staff is friendly, the order is at the check-out. Also, as we understand it, the territory is expanding to attract even more tourists. The price is absolutely adequate for two, we gave 20,000 rubles for six nights. Of course, in the summer it will be higher than the cost, but still the hotel is very decent. It is located in the vicinity of the highway to Sukhum. The food in the dining room can be said not to be five stars, but decent and that there is a variety of dishes to choose from. I recommend it to everyone!

We had a rest in the first half of September 2022 in one of the best boarding houses in Pitsunda - Litfond. Gorgeous nature, the purest gentle sea + a pine grove near the shore, a well-groomed boarding house with intricate benches, palm trees, flowering trees and shrubs everywhere. Many thanks to the staff of the boarding house for organizing the rest.
Plus, I would like to emphasize and express my gratitude to the instructor, who conducted very useful joint gymnastics classes on the seashore every morning; in the afternoon she taught oriental dance techniques, and at 17 o'clock. - in the pine grove, I conducted stretching classes. Instructor Irina (I may be mistaken, I didn't remember the name exactly) - a professional in his field, treats every occupation with great love. Thanks to the sea, the sun and her intense workouts, we rested, got healthier, built up, rejuvenated, gained strength and positive impressions.
We hope that we will rest in this paradise more than once.

Good afternoon, we are currently staying at this hotel. To begin with, about the good things! Air, greenery, luxurious rooms, we have 718 rooms, suite, two-room. Its own beach, beautiful territory. A beautiful library. That's where the good ends!
The sunbeds on the beach are dirty, tied up, there are a lot of outsiders, because of this there are not enough of them.
The pool is small for so many vacationers, dirty
There are not enough sun beds by the pool, after the rain, no one will give them to you, you will dry them on your own
Electricity, for unknown reasons, is constantly turned off, elevators do not work
After heavy rain, the boiler room was flooded, there was no hot water, when they don't talk
The girls at the reception have one excuse - and what can I do, they can't solve a single question
The guests constantly quarrel with the administration, everyone is sent to the director
The rooms are cleaned tolerably
The dining room is a separate topic! It's just TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never seen such an attitude in any country!!!!! Eating what the local "chef" cooks is just not respecting yourself! Well, in order- for some reason he decided that liver and fish (pangasius) This is the best food in Abkhazia! And she cooks these products every day! Children, you know, have nothing to eat in the end! Most of the children do not eat liver or fish, and there is no other product! Boiled chicken every evening - no spices, no onions, no carrots in the chicken, well, at least he left it in the broth, no… She's lying weather-beaten and scary-looking! Lula was given- all the guests said- toilet paper, pasta is always overcooked and tastes disgusting, no seasonal vegetables, no fruits! I talked to both the canteen administrator and the director! Well, let's have this menu, so that you can just swallow it! No, there was no reaction to mine or to the requests of other guests! The cook refused to come out to us at all! It's just not respect for the guests to feed and treat them like that! Today, at dinner, the beans in the coffee machine ran out, they came up, asked, half an hour passed, I don't know if they fell asleep or not, we didn't wait, we left.
You can also write about the minor inconveniences that we encountered in this hotel. I wrote only the most egregious ones, in my opinion!

A very good holiday home. The room stock is excellent, only after renovation. Everything is clean and beautiful. There is a cinema hall and a library. Large outdoor swimming pool. A large area with a park. There is a cafe on site with pleasant prices and delicious large portions. There are also many trade pavilions, fruits, wine, water, cocktails, ice cream and whatever your soul desires. The dining room is large, the food is delicious and good. But the beach spoils the whole fairy tale. There is a lot of garbage carried out by the sea. No one cleans it and packs of dogs of different colors. There is a cheburechnaya on the beach with fabulously delicious chebureks, but it is problematic to eat them on the beach. Dogs tear them right out of their hands. Very beautiful nature. Magnolias, palm trees, flowers. Gorgeous, clean air. The whole area is clean and well maintained. I liked it, I'll be happy to go there again.

For 10 years, this boarding house has changed a lot, the rooms are modernly renovated, with daily cleaning in the rooms, slippers in the room and a set (shampoo, gel, soap) are updated daily, the food is not so varied but everything is delicious, everyone was full, including children, although they are picky, the beach area is lame, but I think they will soon restore beauty there too

Good afternoon, everyone! Before going on vacation, I read reviews about the Literary Fund. As many people as there are opinions. I was on vacation in the Literary Fund from August 1 to August 11, 2023. Unfortunately, this is my first time in Abkhazia. I really liked the nature and the air. The literary fund naturally resembles buildings built in the 60s and 70s, but the hotel has been renovated, the rooms are very good (I lived in a single room), spacious. I also went into the double rooms on purpose. Everything is decent. A beautiful spacious dining room (I ate in the second hall), the food is delicious. To be honest, I expected heartburn after gravy and meat dishes. Alas!, I didn't have anything. This indicates a good quality of food. The sea was clear and very warm. The beach is nice and clean. I went to Pitsunda and Gagra, the beach of the Literary Fund is much better than there. I really love table tennis. I found worthy rivals there and even participated in a tennis tournament held at the hotel. I really liked the billiard tables, but alas, I did not find a companion. In the evening it is very pleasant to walk around the beautiful territory of the hotel, clean, beautiful. The most important thing is that you can swim in the pool after dinner, and no one throws you out, and even to the music of an evening disco. One thing only upset me - on August 4 they closed it for prevention and launched it on August 9. A friend wrote here that he did not like the disco repertoire, and all this is just the fault not in the repertoire, but in our activity. I met a DJ, this was a girl, and I was very surprised by her abilities. She not only responded to the requests of vacationers in a timely manner, but also sang beautifully herself. I was alone, and by profession I am a cultural worker, the animation was at a good level, especially for children, thanks to the girls, they worked perfectly, all the children were on the same wavelength with them.

We are vacationing with my son (5 years old) in April, I really like everything. The food is good, varied, delicious, the territory is well maintained. I recommend. I thought it would be worse. A shuttle service is available for an additional fee. The rooms are clean, everything you need is available. There is not much time to stay in the rooms, all the time on the street. The sea is just around the corner.

This is the best boarding house in Abkhazia. Excellent, cozy rooms with air conditioning (note the workers). A swimming pool, a dining room with a delicious buffet, a bar, sports fields, billiards and of course your own quiet beach with the purest sea. I've rested in this place twice - twice - delight. Thanks to the staff and the country for a wonderful stay.

I give two stars only for the nature of Abkhazia and sightseeing tours. There is a lot to see, the sea of Pitsunda is clean and transparent. This is where the advantages of our vacation end, the food at the hotel is terrible for such money. Not only is everything served cold, but in order to give the child compote, you need to have time to pour it, because the queue is a kilometer behind him. Therefore, for my young children, eating something in the dining room is a test. They ask to leave bags at the entrance, as if they give such delicacies there that we will take them home. In short, I will remember their canteen for a long time. The rooms are cleaned very rarely, only the garbage is taken out daily, there is mold in the shower. There is a construction site on the territory now - it was also a minus for us. The whole impression of Abkhazia was ruined by the hotel.

In June 2023, one of the three places I visited in Abkhazia was the pension Litfond. It's a great place. Under the patronage of Rosatom, it has become one of the best holiday destinations in Pitsunda. I plan to visit in 2024 too. I've already paid for it.
