We were in Abkhazia for the first time, but the cafe BOAT is a must-visit. We arrived here at 11 a.m. We really wanted to try khinkali, khachapuri in Adjarian, chebureks. But we were told that there is none of this, only after 12.00 there will be these dishes. And now (at 11.00) there are only first courses (borscht, etc.).

It's a great place. We were on vacation for a week and ate mostly here. Good prices, delicious food, large portions. You can have a hearty meal for 200-300 rubles. Polite staff, fast service. I definitely recommend it.

We came to this cafe based on reviews, but when I went in, I was very upset. The atmosphere of the USSR, the staff from the same place. Neither hello nor goodbye.
The lighting is dim. Not to say that this cafe is modern, as in the photos.
We ordered khinkali and a boat, the boat is small but generally delicious. 5 pieces of khinkali -250 rubles , a boat -150 rubles .
We ate fine , but the impression is still so-so. The staff in the kitchen was quarreling and the guests could hear it.

The boat is not the most delicious, it's okay to have a clean snack. The dumplings were cooked in time, like a boat, it tasted so-so, the dough was bland, and the meat was scary to eat, veins, cartilage, of course.

We were in Gagra in September, on the advice of the hostess we went to this boat.. The first time I took chicken noodle soup there - I did not find chicken broth in the soup, only water. For breakfast, the cheesecakes were more or less delicious and they always took porridge, like nothing. Pancakes with meat were tasteless at all, on the same day at lunch we took meatballs there - we don't know what, but we were poisoned there, from lunch until the next morning, both my husband and I turned inside out and both had a temperature of 38! Cockroaches walk like at home, in front of me, several times visitors made a remark to the girl at the distribution - a complete disregard. I would not recommend this dining room to anyone...

Cafe "Cockroach Boat"!
cockroaches are crawling on the counter! On the top shelf of the distribution line, behind the glass, there are remnants of chitinous coating and cockroach feces! If there are cockroaches in the distribution, then what is in the kitchen?
We praised this dining room a lot, we decided to have lunch once and that was enough. Borscht is two huge potatoes with boiled cabbage.
Baked vegetables in cheese sauce float in fat.

The "branded boat" is tasteless, there is almost no cheese, there is a little cheese under the egg and that's it.. there is something to compare it with, we tried khachapuri in different establishments, here the tongue does not turn to call this bread khachapuri!
Khinkali- 3 out of 5 were torn, and not just a gap, but there was no straight piece of dough.. accordingly, there was no juice in them, the meat was incomprehensible, the appearance did not arouse confidence.
Kharcho is more or less normal, against the background of the rest of the food, you can eat

We visited this dining room on New Year's holidays. I want to say that out of the 4 places we were in, the Boat, despite the fact that this dining room turned out to be the most worthy institution in terms of price-quality ratio.
