The collection of modern art is small, so the impression is lower than expected.
The territory is beautiful, the exhibits are placed competently and aesthetically.
Architecture is a delight!
That's great! Louvre Abu Dhabi - an oriental tale on the water! One day is not enough - to go around all the halls, admire the water surface inside the museum, the amazing ceiling, like the whole museum, the whole exposition is just space! I recommend you to visit!
I liked that everything was done in such a way that you don't feel a large crowd of people, it's cool inside, you can see a lot of artifacts of different times. There are a lot of greenery around, palm trees, you can take a walk and take beautiful photos
An interesting location for art lovers and connoisseurs. As a person far from him, I was pleased with the architecture of the building itself, the location on the water and the beautiful photos inside and against the background of the Louvre. My wife was pleased with the exhibits of the museum. Plus, at the time of our trip, a temporary Cartier exhibition was held on the territory of the museum, where we looked at the expensive precious products of this house, presented as a gift at one time to various powerful people of this world. It was interesting...
I liked the Louvre first of all for its design and construction. My wife liked the exhibits more. For a change, you can go (entrance ticket for an adult is 65 dirhams, children under 18 are free of charge) a beautiful place.
A beautiful museum with a beautiful building. The museum itself is not very large and consists of 11/12 halls. Most of the halls are occupied by sculptures, frescoes, coins, etc. There are not many paintings. The main feature of the museum is located inside on the street - it is a beautiful space and an unusual roof.
It is good to go to the museum in the afternoon, when the sun is high and the sun's rays pass through the roof. By evening, these rays are much less.
You can get into the interior of the museum, where everyone likes to be photographed, only through the purchase of a ticket and the museum itself.
The 94th bus runs from the city to the museum. Stop right at the museum. This is his ultimate goal. You can then take the same bus to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque
An interesting place. The building itself is really impressive, the stunning dome and the locations under it, but this is a shell, the internal content in my opinion, unlike the Louvre in France, is very limited. The Louvre Abu Dhabi is more like a theme park for tourists, there are almost no masterpieces of world art here, in 3 hours you can walk around the whole slowly. According to the guide, the exhibits change every six months. In general, the place deserves attention and respect. Thank you for your time.
Like everything in the UAE, the architecture of this place is impressive, the availability of a free audio guide in different languages will allow you to learn more about the exhibits. However, the experience of using the audio guide shows not quite consistent exposure lighting.
Exhibits of ancient and modern times. The museum is cool, there are toilets, recliners, strollers for the disabled. If you are a fan of art, it is better to take a separate tour or come by taxi yourself. The complex tour takes only 1.5 hours to visit the museum. This is not enough if you need to look at everything, and not just run through the halls. The area around and the Louvre building itself also deserves attention.Very impressed .I think they will come back again .
I was pleasantly surprised to visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The art exposition was magnificent, each exhibit was amazing and beautiful. The architecture of the building is simply amazing. The whole experience of visiting the museum was unforgettable, and I would definitely recommend visiting the Louvre Abu Dhabi to anyone who is in the region.
A grandiose and beautiful structure. A must-visit in Aba Dhabi! He visited an exhibition of paintings from the Paris Museum d'Orsay. I saw with my own eyes the famous "Bedroom in Arles" by Van Gogh. Unforgettable!
It is very beautiful, there are many locations for photos. The ticket cost 1500, in general OK, although I did not like the exposition) you can go purely for the sake of beautiful architecture
A must-visit in Abu Dhabi! A modern building with an unusual design, a lot of exhibits, you can walk there, if not all day, then you definitely need to allocate half a day.
I got to some special day and got a ticket for free, it's nice :)
This is Love. I'm glad to be back for the whole day
And walk. Walk
Awesome burgers with salmon
Gorgeous turtles
Masterpieces
The service of all this
And fabulous architecture
We will come again and again
A very beautiful building, the architecture is crazy, located on the shore of the bay.
I advise you to visit only for the sake of photos, and look for turtles :)
According to the contract, the French Louvre brings expositions, a contract for 35 years.
According to the exposition, everything is very strange, vinaigrette. In one room there may be Da Vinci, Greek armor and chairs from China.
There is a feeling that the French are not quite cleanly fulfilling their part of the contract.
This is probably the rare case when a building is more interesting than its contents. The museum's collection is interesting, the museum has a lot of space and really interesting exhibits. I was pleased with the section about Egypt and the ancient Sumerians - it was impressive. In this Louvre there were paintings by Monet, Manet, Kandinsky, Chagall, from antique objects to modern art. Take a look into each room, navigation through the museum is not always linear, sometimes you need to notice branches and side passages so as not to miss anything. Be sure to go up under the carved dome, they showed projections on the walls here in the evening, it was magical. By the way, you can go under the dome without visiting the museum. As a result, I liked it there, but Russian and Italian museums still win in my eyes in terms of the richness and importance of collections.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is not a branch of the Louvre in Paris, but a separate museum that works with more than 30 museums in France, including the Louvre itself, the Georges Pompidou Center and Versailles. The collection of the Arab Louvre has about 300 exhibits, including paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Matisse, Van Gogh, Monet, Degas, Renoir, etc.
The exhibits in the museum are scattered not by geography, as in almost all museums in the world, but by the time of creation.
Unexpectedly, of course, in the Emirates to be in the Louvre. And at the same time, it's nice. By the way, the country has leased the name of the Louvre. We'll see what happens next.
The place itself is beautiful, you can see the funds invested in both the construction and the exposition. There are many halls, proper lighting and indoor air temperature. Security guards in each hall not only guard the exhibits, but can also direct if you get lost. A very expensive souvenir shop at the exit. Girls from China and Russia held whole photo shoots against the background of the portrait "Mona Lisa". It was beautiful 👌
A beautiful place!
They meet and escort you in free electric cars.
There is still a lot of construction going on outside the territory, but it's worth coming here.
Everything is very technological and beautiful.
I recommend it!
The interior space is huge and the exhibits are displayed in such a way that visitors do not need to interfere with each other to view masterpieces spanning 8000 years of human history (from the two-headed bust from Ain Ghazal (6000 BC), one of the first images of man, to paintings by Leonardo da Vinci).
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is certainly magnificent and is rightfully considered an important cultural landmark in both Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates. The entrance ticket to the Louvre Abu Dhabi is 63 AED, about the same as the entrance ticket to the Louvre in Paris…
I would like to share my enthusiastic review of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum. This place simply amazes with its splendor and variety of exhibits. I especially liked the architecture of the building, which creates an amazing atmosphere of the illusion of light and shadow. The expositions are so diverse that every visitor will find something here that will interest him. I also liked the organization of the museum, all the exhibits are well lit and information about them is available in several languages, which makes visiting the museum comfortable for foreign tourists. I highly recommend visiting this museum to those who are interested in art and culture, you will definitely get an unforgettable experience.
At the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, I was struck by exhibits from various cultures and eras, but especially impressed by the collections of ancient art. I was fascinated by ancient Greek sculptures, the splendor of paintings and sculptures from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, as well as an amazing collection of Islamic art. I saw the works of Michelangelo, David and Vinci, which have always fascinated me in books and magazines, and was delighted to be able to see them live. I was also struck by the masterpieces of Islamic art: ceramics, textiles, precious stones and pearls, which demonstrate the fine work of craftsmen and the richness of the culture of the Islamic world.
At the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, I was struck by the historical depth and significance of the works of art. Especially impressive were the ancient Greek sculptures, which showed the evolution of ancient Greek art and its influence on modern culture. The impression was made by historical paintings and sculptures of the Renaissance and Baroque, which are important achievements of European art, reflecting historical, religious and cultural trends. I saw paintings composed by great artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, and realized their greatness and influence on the development of art.
I was also struck by the collection of Islamic art, which is an important part of the world heritage. These works of art not only reflect the skill and talent of the masters, but also convey the unique historical, religious and cultural aspects of the Islamic world. I saw magnificent examples of Arabic ceramics, exquisite textiles, objects inlaid with precious stones and pearls, and it made me think about the amazing cultural diversity in the world.
One of the most impressive aspects of visiting the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum was the awareness of the connection between art and history, as well as understanding how much of what we see today has historical roots and deep cultural roots.
It will take an hour and a half or two to visit the main exhibition, you don't have time to get tired. The beautiful architecture of the Louvre will definitely not leave anyone indifferent)
At the exit of the main halls, there is a temporary exhibition, a visit is also possible with a special ticket, a cafe and a restaurant.
There is an official application for your phone, you can listen in Russian about each exhibit.
A beautiful place both outside and inside. Interesting exhibits in the halls, built according to the historical timeline from the very ancient (several hundred thousand years BC) to our times. Free audio guide via the app. There is free parking and a small promenade on site.
The building is very interesting, modern, stylish, beautiful, the exposition is not represented by a very large number, but there are paintings worthy of attention. We were on an organized tour from tour operators
An unforgettable experience!
The museum building itself is a real work of art, and its unique roof creates the effect of a floating heavenly oasis.
The collection of works of art is truly impressive: from ancient artifacts to modern works. Each room has its own unique atmosphere, and you can spend hours immersed in world cultures and times.
An interesting museum. Of course not the Louvre (Parisian), but it's still interesting to see. Paintings by famous artists, interesting exhibitions. Modern and tasteful.
It is required to visit. Spacious halls, interesting exhibitions. Well, the building itself: magnificent, unusual. It needs to be seen. We bought tickets through the Sputnik organization. But if you come to the opening, as we do, then there are few people, you pass quickly, buy a ticket, leave your backpack in the luggage room and enjoy the architecture and works of art.
A very beautiful place! Definitely worth a visit at least once. The building itself is interesting. There is a packing for the car. I recommend downloading the museum's app in advance, where you can listen to the audio guide for free
A great museum. Exhibits of antiquity of deep and modernity. The museum is cool, there are toilets, recliners, strollers for the disabled. If you are a fan of art, it is better to take a separate tour or come by taxi yourself. The complex tour takes only 1.5 hours to visit the museum. This is not enough if you need to consider everything, and not just run through the halls. The area around and the Louvre building itself also deserves attention.
It is very interesting and beautiful. They bought not only the name of the famous Louvre, but also some works of art. It is very interesting to watch the large sea turtles in the pond
A wonderful museum. I felt incredible emotions when I saw him. This museum is aesthetics, beauty, grandeur, and so you can list it for a long time. There are a lot of exhibits, it's cool everywhere, incredible size, in general super, I really liked it)
I really wanted to go to the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum. A place where the past and the present are intertwined in virtuoso harmony. See the floating dome of light and shadow that covers the museum city in the sea in the form of an umbrella. It's so cool and so beautiful!
There are several interesting paintings, the halls are small, there are quite a lot of visitors. The hall of modern art causes laughter, it is funny to look at the rusty pots hanging on the wall in the form of some kind of exposition and paintings of the level of children from kindergarten. There is only one cafe on the territory of the museum, there is a long queue to it, you need to stand for 30 minutes to buy coffee with a bun. Then the next entertainment is to find a place to sit down to drink coffee, there are no tables. Sitting on the stairs of the Louvre, people eat sandwiches and take selfies, there is nothing else to do there. There is also a restaurant on site, but it is always busy, and tables need to be booked in advance. The most beautiful photos are taken at sunset, when the sun sets and illuminates the open territory of the Louvre with its rays. Well, at 18 o'clock the show of the dons begins - they rise from the territory of the Louvre and soar over the bay, lining up in bizarre Arabic letters and shapes. The show repeats every 1.5 hours, the last one at 20:30 local time. For which I took off the star - it is almost impossible to leave here later, there is not enough taxi, there is a live queue for an hour, in general, it will not be possible to leave without adventures from here, and you will have to be pretty nervous in search of transport services.
An interesting museum where you can get acquainted with various types of art from different eras. A big plus is that there is an audio guide that is easily connected in the phone.
A gorgeous place!
A must-visit!
The tickets are cheap, the place is amazing.
Even if you are not interested in art, just wander around, look at the turtles (swimming in the courtyard).
Courtyard, a view restaurant, many art objects.
And I'm not talking about the collection at all!
There are many exhibits - I was surprised, both Kandinsky and Chagall and Rembrandt are here. The handmade carpet is more than 500 years old, and many other interesting things. I recommend.
It is beautiful, not a large collection of paintings, but the Louvre itself is beautiful. Especially, of course, stuck to Van Gogh. The most interesting thing is that the whole collection goes by date, that is, mummies can be next to samurai !
A very interesting museum. Of course, nothing is clear. The staff is especially unclear. The guards are not very good at listening to speech, and the staff are rushing to the exit. I was following the powerbank and they tried to turn me around. Moreover, I stay 100-300 km from the hotel without charging... Powerbanks are ancient but cheap.
The building itself looks very impressive and beautiful shots are obtained. The approach to showing exhibition scenes is interesting. You can also listen to the audio guide there.
You have to be a fan of museums and architecture here, the building is a very interesting idea of the architect, the exhibits are interesting! Online guide in any language of the world!
The place is more interesting as a phenomenon than as a museum. The building itself is impressive, the concept of building a museum cluster almost in the desert is impressive (a huge Sheikh Zayed museum and a branch of the Guggenheim Museum are being built nearby), but not the internal content. The exposition is rather weak and terribly far from the real Louvre.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is more of a theme park for tourists, there are no masterpieces of world art here, as well as Arab visitors. But in order not to get bored, there are restaurants and a rather interesting interactive children's museum.
Overall, the place deserves attention
An amazing museum. There are not many exhibits, but all are worth a visit. And everything can be considered for a long time. The museum can display exhibits from the Louvre collection in Paris.
It's just an amazing place, starting with the doors, moving on to an amazing architectural solution and ending with those despicable paintings that are on display.
I advise everyone to visit this place not only because of the love of art, but also to find themselves in the future ....
The roof of this structure is designed in such a way that the structure is floating and seems weightless like the crown of trees, and the sun is stunningly beautifully dispersed inside the building.
A unique solution in plumbing, will amaze everyone ....
The design itself is made in white with a monolith and glass-an insanely beautiful combination of the future.
I advise you to allocate at least half a day to study this art object. And if you are ready to call a taxi yourself before closing, then.k. all transport stops coming to the museum.
An incredibly pleasant place. The sea was especially impressive — very azure and calm. It's nice to sit on the steps on the territory and look at the city and the azure. I also liked the museum itself — an interesting concept, aesthetics and visual cleanliness. Here the entire exposition is dedicated to the unification of humanity through art. And there is also a children's interactive zone, where my daughter really liked it. I recommend it to everyone, be sure to visit.
I recommend it to everyone. This is the most atmospheric place in the Emirates. Not everyone knows there is an application, download it at the entrance and then listen to everything with your headphones. Super convenient. No one knows. The headphones are mine from this year.
The most beautiful place, impressive architecture, beautiful and swimming pools overlooking the sea and architecture are freaky. I recommend coming at sunset very beautifully.
An excellent European-level museum, there are main expositions, but it's cool when there are visiting exhibitions.
Large free parking.
Modern, like everything in the UAE, is a museum complex of copies of works of art from different time periods and directions. One of the disadvantages is the difficulty of navigating to the exit from the museum.
According to the collection, of course, this is not the Louvre in Paris, but there are many interesting things in the design, in the concept. Beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, modern architecture and turtles swim from the rehabilitation center, which is part of the museum complex.
Yes, the exhibition is small, but what a building! It's only for his sake that we need to come here. How beautiful it is to turn gray on the thresholds under the starry dome and look at the bay, and then slowly look at the exhibitions. Not tedious and very unusual.
